Tory Lanez will have to wait a bit longer for his sentencing in the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion.

According to NBC News, Lanez, born Daystar Peterson, has another delay in his sentencing, while his legal team attempts to secure him a new trial.

This is one of the multiple sentencing delays for Lanez. With a new legal team in place and issuing a request for a new trial, the sentencing is once again on hold. Meanwhile, Lanez remains inside Los Angeles County Jail.

Lanez was convicted in December for assault with a semi-automatic firearm, discharging a firearm with gross negligence, and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle. He is facing a max prison time just short of 23 years.

Megan Thee Stallion Shows Off Her Toned Tummy In “I Love To Make Boys Cry” Crop Top

She’s back. On Friday (April 7), Megan Thee Stallion’s Instagram feed lit up with yet another iconic photo dump, this one pulling focus to her toned physique in a pair of unbuttoned light-wash jeans. The top half of her look consisted of a cropped white tee, featuring the words “I ❤ To Make Boys Cry” markedly written across her chest. As always, the rap diva accessorized with plenty of flashy pieces, including a selection of bracelets and a large cross chain. Since making her comeback last month, Thee Stallion has been sporting her hair in a magnificent afro – a trend that her friends and fans have been loving.

The Houston native’s first two images show her posing sultrily in front of a wall. While she maintains a serious expression in the first snapshot, we later see her famous tongue make an appearance as she raises her hands to show off her necklace for the camera. In Thee Stallion’s final two photos, she appears to be having the time of her life while riding around in a car with friends. Her goofy side is clearly on display in images three and four, leaving Thee Hotties feeling happy to see Megan outside and smiling once again.

She’s in the midst of a huge comeback right now, but as you may recall, the 28-year-old spent the first few months of the year laying low and focusing on herself. Though she came out victorious in Tory Lanez’s shooting trial in late 2022, Thee Stallion still required time to recover from the media firestorm that ensued as a result of her seeking justice. As he remains behind bars, the Canadian’s legal team is seeking a re-trial, which the prosecution recently argued “lacks substance” on his part.

Aside from the legal woes, Megan Thee Stallion is shaping up to have an incredible 2023. Not only did she crush her first live performance of the year in her hometown last weekend, but the “Big Ole Freak” hitmaker has also been named as a headliner at several upcoming festivals. A Houston Man Was Arrested For Impersonating A Cop In Order To Sneak Into Megan Thee Stallion’s Concert

Megan Thee Stallion had quite the homecoming last weekend. While in her hometown of Houston, she threw the first pitch at the Astros’ Opening Day game, and she also performed her first live set of 2023 at the AT&T Block Party.

Many of Meg’s hometown hotties were elated to hear she was back in town, including a local barber Trayvone “Lil Darus” Stevenson. During her performance last Friday (March 31), Stevenson reportedly wore a “Police K-9” vest to appear as a police officer, and was granted admission into Meg’s set, according to ABC 13.

Stevenson was reportedly arrested following the show, and charged with impersonating a public servant. On Monday, Stevenson was reportedly released on a $20,000 bond.

“Megan Thee Stallion is a fantastic draw, big draw, especially here in Houston, but this is still a felony case,” prosecutor Mathew Jackson told Eyewitness News during the hearing. “You cannot go and impersonate an officer to get into a concert venue.”

Meg herself has not acknowledged the situation, but she did share a photo carousel on Instagram with highlights from last weekend in Texas. One of them was meeting Shania Twain at the CMT Awards, which were held in Austin this past Sunday (April 2).

Megan Thee Stallion is one of the hottest tickets in Hip-Hop. So much so a guy attempted to pose as a police officer to get in her show.

Hot Girl Meg was performing at the AT&T Block Party in Houston on Friday night when Trayvone “Lil Darus” Stevenson was arrested for impersonating a public servant. The man dressed as a cop, specifically as a member of the “K-9 Unit,” and attempted to enter as hired security.

According to ABC13, the plot failed quickly and he was arrested as he was unable to supply law enforcement identification or even a police dog. The man was arrested from Harris County Jail on Monday with a $20,000 bond.

Megan Thee Stallion returned to the stage this weekend at the Final Four. Taking the stage, the Houston Hottie held down the Houston stage at the Men’s Final Four.

Meanwhile, across the state in Dallas, Saweetie turned up for the Women’s FInal Four.

Megan Thee Stallion Teases Her Slim Thick Figure In New Texas Instagram Photo Dump

The end of 2022 was undeniably rocky for Megan Thee Stallion. She was called to the stand to recount the night Tory Lanez shot at and injured her foot following a party at Kylie Jenner’s home. She ultimately came out on top (though the Canadian is attempting to file for a new trial). However, the Houston-born entertainer was left mentally and physically exhausted after the ordeal. This prompted her to spend a few months out of the spotlight, working on herself. In March, she chiefly made her presence felt once again. She’s been on something of a roll since then, stepping out for one public appearance after another.

This past weekend was particularly busy for the 28-year-old. She kicked off things last Thursday (March 30), by throwing the first pitch at an Astros baseball game. The next evening, she gave her first performance of 2023 at the AT&T Block Party. At the time, she was hilariously out-twerked by a male fan who was invited on stage to dance. Elsewhere at that same event, another man was arrested after sneaking into the sold-out concert dressed as a K-9 officer in an attempt to meet the rap diva in real life.

To close out her weekend, the “Freak Nasty” hitmaker attended the annual Country Music Awards. Cameras caught her and Canadian icon Shania Twain sharing plenty of smiles and laughs. In her usual fashion, Thee Stallion donned an ’80s-inspired look for the show, wearing her beautiful curly hair in an unmissable afro, also showing off her slim thick figure in a dress which boasted a large, flirtatious hip cutout. Thankfully for those who weren’t able to attend any of her appearances, she’s summarized her time outside into a concise, curve-filled photo dump documenting some of the best moments.

Megan Thee Stallion Fan Arrested For Impersonating Police Officer In Hopes Of Meeting Houston Hottie

Some fans would do anything to meet Megan Thee Stallion – including face felony charges for impersonating an officer. This past weekend, local barber Trayvone Lil Darus Stevenson did just that, dressing as a member of the K-9 unit last Friday (March 31) to catch the rap diva’s first performance of the year at the AT&T Block Party. According to ABC 13, the man successfully gained admission into the concert by telling the administration on-site that he was working as security for the sold-out event.

While he surely felt great about making it into the venue, Stevenson was ultimately arrested around 8 PM, before the object of his desire even began her performance. It seems the 28-year-old spent his weekend at the Harris County Jail. Now, he’s facing charges of impersonating a public servant. Attorneys working on the case claim that the accused “has no qualifications as any type of law enforcement officer.” It’s also worth noting that the barber didn’t bring a dog with him to the AT&T Block Party, despite choosing to dress in a K-9 unit vest.

Because he has no previous record, he was able to bond out following his hearing, court records reveal. Despite the relatively quick release, Prosecutor Mathew Jackson made it abundantly clear that “this is still a felony case,” and what the Houstonian hairstylist attempted to pull off is a serious breach of the law. “Megan Thee Stallion is a fantastic draw, big draw, especially here in Houston, but this is still a felony case. You cannot go and impersonate an officer to get into a concert venue,” he insisted.

The 28-year-old hasn’t responded to the situation herself, which is completely understandable seeing as she had the most jam-packed weekend we’ve seen in a minute. Aside from performing in her hometown for the first time in years, Thee Stallion also threw the first pitch at an Astros game in a curve-hugging all-white outfit a few days ago.
