LeBron James Gets Awful Injury Update

LeBron James is the heart of the Los Angeles Lakers right now. Overall, the Lakers are a team that is desperately trying to get themselves into the NBA playoffs. However, they are struggling to get any of that done. While they are just a few games back from a postseason birth, they still have to worry about the performance of other teams. Their struggles early in the season have put them in a precarious position, and although the roster is improved, there is no guarantee they can things done in the clutch.

Moreover, on Sunday night, they got a huge scare as it pertains to the health of LeBron. During the game against the Mavericks, James went down with what appeared to be a right ankle injury. In fact, James could be heard saying “I heard it pop” while on the ground. Overall, it was a very scary moment that fans were very worried about. However, James went right back into the game and finished it out. Now, James has received an official diagnosis, and it is not looking good for the Lakers, whatsoever.

LeBron Update

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, it is very likely that LeBron will now have to miss a few weeks with this injury. While he will not need any sort of surgery, it is clear that he is out for an indefinite period. This is the worst thing that could have happened to the Lakers as they need all hands on deck for this playoff push. Although, with Anthony Davis and a young crop of hungry players, perhaps the Lakers could actually turn heads and surprise some people. Either way, this is definitely disappointing news for everyone involved.

Over the past two years, James has had an increase in injury-related issues. This makes sense when you consider how he is now 38 years old. Although we are used to Iron Man LeBron, it is clear that he is no longer that player. It is a sad reality, albeit one that we had to expect after a while. Stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest updates on this developing story.

Kevin Durant Claps Back At Charles Barkley For Questionable LeBron Quote

Kevin Durant is someone who has always been incredibly active on social media. He isn’t shy to speak out about various happenings throughout the NBA, especially when they involve himself. Although some find his social media use to be corny, he seems to love it. Overall, KD uses Twitter as a tool to connect with those who want to talk hoops. Moreover, it is a great way for him to dunk on haters who are constantly trying to bring him down. Ever since he got rid of the burners, he has certainly been on a roll.

One person he typically finds himself quarreling with is Charles Barkley. These two never go at each other directly, however, as they are sending their shots on different platforms. Today, Charles Barkley was on First Take, where he talked about how LeBron James and Kevin Durant needed other superstars to help them win. From there, he offered up a quote of sorts in which he claims that LeBron and KD said directly that they needed other players to help them win. “[LeBron] says, ‘I had to win a championship without D-Wade to get old heads’ respect.’ Kobe Bryant says, ‘I have to win a championship without Shaq to get these old heads off my back.’ I hold Kevin Durant to the same criteria,” Barkley said.

Kevin Durant Is Just Asking Questions

Kevin Durant saw this clip making the rounds on social media and was very skeptical. As he said on Twitter “I don’t remember bron saying this…somebody link me to the article.” Of course, no one was able to find any such article. This is because James never actually said something like this. James doesn’t really acknowledge the criticism he gets from oldheads. Instead, he does his own thing and plays the kind of basketball that fulfills him, just like KD does.

Barkley and KD are two people who will continue to be at odds for years to come. At this point, KD will have to lead a G-League team to a title in order to get his respect. For now, however, Durant is looking to play his first game with the Phoenix Suns, and fans around the league are excited about it. Hopefully, he can prove himself, once and for all.

What is Lebron James’ net worth?

LeBron James has a lot of titles under his belt: MVP, Rookie of the Year G.O.A.T. (arguably), All-Star and many more. A few of those could be applied to other NBA stars who have also won plenty of accolades, but he does have one that most athletes don’t: billionaire.

The NBA star has spent 20 seasons atop the NBA as arguably its best player through that entire stretch. That alone would result in a lot of money as James has had quite a few lucrative contracts as a result.

LeBron James’ official net worth is $1 billion. He hit this mark in June of 2022, per Forbes’ estimation. The Los Angeles Lakers star hit a financial milestone only achieved by two other athletes: Tiger Woods and Michael Jordan.

That $1 billion number will continue to grow, especially after James retires and transitions to Hollywood, sports analysis, ownership or anything else he decides to pursue. Here’s how he got to that mark, though.

How LeBron James’ net worth reached $1 billion

LeBron James began this journey back in 2003 when he was first drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers. His initial contract afforded him just over $4 million according to Spotrac.

As he continued to get better and more money was available in sports, his contracts got bigger and bigger. His first contract with the Miami Heat gave him $14.5 million. When he rejoined the Cavaliers, it was for $20.6 million.

Signing with the Lakers proved to be an excellent financial decision, as his most recent contract year (2022-2023) earned almost $44.5 million. All totaled, James has earned about $431.9 million over 20 seasons.

LeBron James’ endorsements

That is only a fraction of his net worth, though. Being the most profitable face in basketball (and perhaps the entire sports world) has its perks. James has been endorsed by or a sponsor for a lot of brands over the years.

These include but are not limited to Coca-Cola, 2K Sports, Tonal, Ruffles, AT&T, Beats Electronics, KIA Motors, Nike, Walmart, RIMOWA, Mountain Dew, GMC and Wheaties.

Nike has been a huge contributor to LeBron James’ staggering net worth. Just from his 2016 contract with the company for a shoe deal, the NBA’s leading scorer will earn another $1 billion over his lifetime.

James also became the face of Ruffles, which is one of the biggest potato chip brands in the world. They’re the official chip brand of the NBA, which only helps improve the net worth of the league’s biggest star.

AT&T has plenty of star athletes as sponsors. They frequent the commercials, such as LaMelo Ball, Matthew Stafford or Sue Bird. They pale in comparison to the value and recognizability of James, though.

The Lakers’ forward has also been a luxury ambassador for Kia Motors since 2014. They are one of the more prominent car brands and even partnered with the athlete to make the LeBron James Stinger GT, a car after his own name.

James signed with Beats in 2008 and earned $1 million per commercial with them. It’s rumored that he earned over $500 million after Apple bought the company.

These are just a few of the endorsements that the 20-year NBA veteran has earned, but it’s easy to see how he’s accumulated a net worth of over $1 billion. Being a star athlete has its financial perks, but endorsements are where a lot of the money truly comes from.

LeBron James in Hollywood: The making of a billionaire

Playing in Los Angeles has its downsides, but it also has a lot of perks. It’s right near Hollywood, which is where James has spent some time. Per IMDb, the NBA superstar has been a producer for 52 projects, with six more upcoming.

He’s also been an actor, starring in films like Space Jam: A New Legacy, Trainwreck, House Party (2023) and Smallfoot. These movies aren’t cheap to make and the stars often get sizable paydays.

He is also credited as a writer for four projects. While he’s obviously not known for his movie and television star power, James has clearly had a lot of experience (and a lot of money) in that arena.

It takes a lot to earn $1 billion in any field. Athletes, even those on absurd $500 million deals, have rarely achieved this feat. Most people don’t achieve this feat as only about 3,300 people are currently billionaires.

James’ on-court stats, highlights and more are impressive, but what he’s done off of it is equally as impressive.

Becoming the NBA’s leading scorer is incredibly challenging, but so is becoming only the second billionaire in NBA history- and the first to ever become one while still playing. Even Michael Jordan, who ascended to billionaire status in 2016, didn’t do that.

Nike LeBron 20 “Nike Lifer” Unveiled: Photos

One of the best basketball shoes of the last year has been the Nike LeBron 20. Overall, this is an incredible offering that is definitely bringing back the low-top aesthetics that James’ sneakers used to have. Moreover, James has been playing some incredible basketball in these kicks, which has ultimately made these shoes that much more popular. Simply put, Nike has a home run here. In a few months, they will have to reveal the Nike LeBron 21, and if they go with something similar to this, they will continue that winning streak.

For now, however, the brand is focusing on new colorways of the LeBron 20. The playoffs are quickly approaching which means more new models. Of course, James might miss the postseason, although Nike is gearing up for a run, anyway. For sneakerheads, this is an amazing time because it means more options will be available on the market. After all, who doesn’t love to have more colorways to choose from?

The latest Nike LeBron 20 to be revealed is this “Nike Lifer” option which can be found above and below. These official images come thanks to Finish Line who will be selling these kicks. The name of the shoe is a reference to LeBron and his lifetime deal with Nike, which has helped turn him into a billionaire. Firstly, the shoe opens up with a grey knit upper. Secondly, the Nike swoosh is blue, while the Nike swoosh behind it is yellow. There is also some green trim here for good measure. Lastly, we get red laces on the front, with a bit of blue around it. Overall, it is a colorway that definitely has a lot going on.

As for the release date, these are set to drop on March 23rd for a price of $200 USD. Although these might not be for everyone, they are most certainly a great option worth considering. You can expect more colorways of the Nike LeBron 20, very soon. Let us know what you think of these, down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from the sneaker world.

LeBron James & Kyrie Irving Reunite: Watch

LeBron James is in his 20th season of NBA basketball. Overall, he is still playing at an incredibly high level. However, this has not put the Lakers into a playoff position, at least not yet. The team is currently battling for a play-in spot, and they even have a chance at getting the sixth seed. Although, it is not going to be easy. They have to play some pretty good teams to get there, and last night, they had to take on the latest dynamic duo in the league. Of course, we are talking about Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving.

Luka and Kyrie have had some struggles together. That said, they are incredibly talented and can definitely take down a team like the Lakers. Instead, on Sunday, the Lakers came out victorious. At one point in the first half, the Lakers were down by 27 points. Despite this, they were able to make an impressive comeback that featured some heroics from LeBron and Anthony Davis down the stretch. It was a horrible loss for the Mavs, but a massive win for the Lakers.

LeBron x Kyrie

Subsequently, after the game, LeBron was able to greet players from the Mavs. In the clip above, you can see that this included Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving. Overall, Luka and Kyrie didn’t seem to be too upset about the loss. They simply dapped up LeBron with huge smiles on their faces. In fact, Irving looked incredibly happy to see James as they executed what seemed to be a pretty involved handshake. It is just another example of how much these two love each other.

Unfortunately, for the Mavericks, this could very well spark some rumors about what Kyrie will do in the offseason. He is going to become a free agent which means he is free to do as he pleases. The Lakers are a team that would love to have Kyrie, although who knows what will happen at this point? Let us know what you thought of yesterday’s Lakers Vs. Mavericks game, in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from the sports world.

LeBron James Spotted Limping After Injuring Right Foot

LeBron James was seen limping as he left the American Airlines Center in Dallas following the Los Angeles Lakers’ win over the Mavericks. He appeared to injure his right foot during a layup attempt on Dwight Powell in the third quarter. After the contact, floor microphones for the broadcast picked up James remarking to the team’s bench that he “heard a pop.” James remained in the game until its conclusion. The Lakers won 111-108.

“It’s been better,” James said when asked about his foot afterward. “That’s for sure. But I definitely wasn’t going to go to the locker room and not finish the game out tonight. Just understood the importance of the game, and then with the momentum that we had, I felt like we could still win after being down. We’ll monitor it the next couple days, see how it feels and go from there.”

Lakers coach Darvin Ham said that James is “good” as of now but the team will be monitoring his foot. “He’s good,” he confirmed. “Our medical people are looking at him now. He’ll be reevaluated again in the morning. So once we get some type of official word tomorrow, we’ll go from there. But as of right now, he’s good.”

James finished with 26 points on 10-for-23 shooting, adding eight rebounds and three assists. He scored 11 of his points in the fourth quarter, after the injury occurred. For the victory, the Lakers overcame a 27-point deficit, the biggest comeback by any team this season. With the win, the team improves to 29-32 leaving them at 11th place in the Western Conference standings. They’re currently fighting for a spot in the playoff games as the season nears the final stretch. There’s reason for Lakers fans to be hopeful as their team has played notably better since acquiring D’Angelo Russell, who was absent for Sunday’s win in Dallas.

LeBron James Begs Savannah James To “Ger [Her] Ass Home” After Seeing New IG Photos

If there’s one couple that will always go hard for one another, it’s LeBron James and his wife Savannah. The parents of three have a long-lasting bond that first began in high school, and has continued all through the NBA player’s historic career. While he consistently tears it up on the court and puts tons of work into his other various endeavours, the 36-year-old has made a name for herself as an entrepreneur and interior designer.

LeBron is undeniably one of the most recognizable names among American athletes. Due to this, it’s no wonder that Savannah has become a favourite in the public eye as well. Thanks to her celebrity status, the Ohio-born beauty was afforded the opportunity to attend this season’s Milan Fashion Week. Needless to say, the looks we’ve seen her in so far are nothing short of inspired.

Savannah Stuns at Milan Fashion Week

On Saturday (February 25), her beautifully curated feed lit up with a series of snapshots taken at the Gucci show. Savannah looked nearly ready to run an office with all the confidence of a girl boss, though the undone buttons on her pale blue shirt cheekily reveal her bra and give the outfit a flirtatious vibe. “Draped in @gucci for women’s F/W 2023,” she wrote in the caption, crediting the brand for putting together her luxurious garments.

For accessories, James carried a small white purse complete with black trim and gold hardware. A few dainty necklaces were sitting pretty on her neck, while white heels peeped out from beneath her wide-leg pleated trousers. To jazz the pants up a bit, designs were laid out across the legs in tiny pearls and gems, giving them a unique edge.

LeBron Thirstily Shows His Love

For her next front-row appearance, Savannah spiced things up in an all-black Dolce & Gabbana ensemble. She wore a form-fitting quilted coat over what appears to be a full-body lace jumpsuit. Accessories were once again kept to a minimum, with just a small black bag in the social media star’s hand and some small necklaces. Many have specifically been praising this outfit, including her husband, who clearly can’t wait for her return to America.

“Ok now you just showing out!!” the athlete wrote in her Instagram comments. “Get your ass home now and get what you can’t get in Europe! [devil emoji].” It didn’t take long for users to notice the salacious response from LeBron, and many are absolutely loving it. He and Savannah are often referred to as “couple goals,” and fans are always happy to know that they’re still going strong all these years later. See more from SJ’s trip to Milan below, and check back later for more pop culture news updates.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Speaks On LeBron Breaking His Record

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is one of the greatest players in the entire history of the NBA. Overall, many have him as a top-three player ever. In these lists, he is right behind the likes of both LeBron James and Michael Jordan. Although he has six rings to LeBron’s four, there is this consensus that James has had a better career. This is especially true now that LeBron has surpassed Kareem on the all-time scorer’s list. James broke the record only a few weeks ago, and it was an incredible feat that no one ever thought he would accomplish.

Subsequently, there has been chatter about whether or not Kareem is upset with James taking the record. After all, Abdul-Jabbar has been quite critical of LeBron in the past. Although these issues are purely political, there were some fans who couldn’t help but come up with their own theories. During All-Sar weekend, Abdul-Jabbar was able to clear the air on the matter. Below, you can see that the NBA legend spoke with Clutch Points about the record. Overall, he seems to be very much at peace with it.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Speaks

“Well, I was glad that I could be there and demonstrate,” Kareem explained. “It wasn’t a problem. I was happy to hand the record over to him. I guess that was symbolic in the handing in the ball.” Kareem had held the record for 40 years, and it was largely thought that it could not be broken. However, LeBron has showcased some of the most impressive longevity in NBA history. He is still averaging close to 30 points per game, in his 20th season. That said, he will likely become the first player to eclipse the 40,000-point mark.

Regardless of how Kareem Abdul-Jabbar may feel about LeBron, he cannot deny that James is a once-in-a-lifetime talent. Even today, we are witnessing greatness from the Lakers star. It has been truly special to see, and we hope that James plays well into his 40s. Once Bronny gets into the league, it will truly be a full-circle moment. Be sure to stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the sports world.

LeBron James Reveals What He Thinks Of Bronny’s Game

LeBron James is one of the best players in the NBA right now, and as the season comes to a close, the Lakers will need him to be legendary. The Lakers are still 13th in the Western Conference and are just a game away from being in the play-in. Overall, it is going to be a tough fight, but with LeBron at the helm, it should be a lot easier. In fact, the entire roster is much better than it was two weeks ago. A prime example of this is how the Lakers beat the Warriors last night even though James only had 13 points.

Although James has a lot to worry about in terms of the Lakers, he has also been mentoring his son Bronny. As of right now, Bronny is trying to decide where he will go to college. Furthermore, he has been projected to be a top-10 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft. This is tremendous pressure for a teenager, however, he seems to be handling it exceptionally well. James is certainly impressed with how his son is handling things, and he expressed as such last night after the win against the Warriors.

LeBron Praises Bronny

“Bronny plays the game the right way every single night, if he wanted to he could shoot 20 shots a game and average 30 but its not about that, Bryce side he had the growth spurt and now his game catching up with the growth,” James said. Overall, LeBron is very clearly proud of his sons. He certainly should be feeling that way considering everything that they have been able to accomplish. LeBron’s goal has always been to share the court with Bronny, and at this rate, he will be able to accomplish that.

The next few weeks should be interesting for the James family. Once Bronny makes his decision, then the whole basketball world will erupt. Meanwhile, the Lakers are trying to prove themselves. Needless to say, there are some great storylines to follow, moving forward. That said, stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest news and updates. Additionally, let us know what you think of Bronny’s game, in the comments below.

Stephen A. Smith Reveals Why He Doesn’t Talk About Bronny James Jr.

Stephen A. Smith has covered a ton of amazing athletes throughout the course of his career. Overall, he has seen numerous generations of NBA superstars. One of those superstars is none other than LeBron James. Although Smith has had criticisms of LeBron over the years, there is no doubt that he has also had praise for the man. This is especially true when it comes to what kind of person LeBron has been. Stephen A. cannot say enough good things about LeBron as both a father and a husband.

Speaking of fatherhood, LeBron’s oldest son Bronny is currently set to choose where he will go to school. Moreover, he is already being looked at by NBA teams. Consequently, ESPN recently came through a mock draft in which they tried to predict where James is going to go in the 2024 draft. For now, they have him going 10th overall. This is quite a bit of praise, however, some believe it is premature to say something like this. As for Stephen A., he has always been a bit wary when it comes to talking about LeBron’s child.

Stephen A. Makes A Valiant Point

“I’ve never talked about Bronny James and it’s because of his father,” Stephen A. said. “I think that it is unfair to bring that kind of scrutiny on the kid and I’m very very protective of him in that regard. Obviously, his name is going to continue to elevate in the mind’s eye and I think that LeBron James is the cause of that because he’s made it very very clear that his goal is to stay in the NBA until his son arrives.” Overall, Smith makes a great point about putting too much pressure on a teenager too early. As the son of LeBron, Bronny is already dealing with immense pressure, and he doesn’t need any more.

Moving forward, it will be interesting to see where Bronny decides to go. One would imagine Ohio State would be at the top of his list. Moreover, it seems like USC and Oregon are some compelling options. Either way, Bronny will be fun to watch over the coming years. As for Smith, let us know what you think of his philosophy, in the comments below.
