Kris Jenner was in attendance during the Lakers’ loss to the Denver Nuggets in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals on Monday night. She sat alongside Corey Gamble. During the game, Tristan Thompson saw some of the most minutes on the court he’s gotten during his entire stretch with the team. He finished with four points and a single rebound in 10 minutes of action. Despite his effort, the Nuggets won 113-111 to advance to the NBA Finals.
Thompson signed with the Lakers back in April, locating him back near his ex, Khloé Kardashian. When rumors started to fly that the two were back together, Khloé put a halt to the idea. “Stop pushing this narrative. It’s tiring. But I suppose You guys will continue the narrative you want regardless of what I say so what’s the point,” she wrote on Instagram. “It’s exhausting but I learned people will only understand to the level of their own perception. Most are stuck at believing the lies because it’s the narrative they want to fuel. Have fun…. Some things are just as simple as they seem. A family member supporting another family member ESPECIALLY during a difficult time in life.”

With the loss, the Lakers suffered a sweep at the hands of the Nuggets. Afterward, LeBron James admitted that he will be considering retirement during the offseason. He appeared to be gassed toward the end of the game, scoring just nine of his 40 points in the second half. “I knew I could get to the finish line,” James told ESPN. “Obviously, I knew I had to deal with it and deal with the pain or deal with not being able to be myself before the injury, but there was nothing that made me feel like I couldn’t get to the finish line.”
This past Friday (April 21), Bad Bunny headlined the first night of Coachella’s second weekend for 2023. As People reports, the billionaire Amazon founder, who was once the wealthiest person in the world (he’s currently third), was seen attending Bad Bunny’s performance alongside partner and reporter Lauren Sánchez, Kris Jenner, and Corey Gamble. Bezos’ look drew some attention. As People notes, “Bezos, 59, also kept it casual in a long-sleeve light blue button-up shirt with butterflies on the front, a pair of jeans, and white sneakers with dark trim around the ankle.” Some onlookers took notice of the shirt, which can apparently be bought on Amazon for about $12 (or at least one that looks just like it can). One Reddit user summarized the ensemble, “Jeff looking like the dude that comes into a store and asks to buy the outfit off the mannequin.”
The Kardashian-Jenner family has been a pop culture staple for over a decade. Their reality TV show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians (KUWTK), and multiple business sidelines kept them in the spotlight. They’re one of the most successful, famous families to grace the entertainment industry. However, are the Kardashian-Jenners already “canceled” due to changing pop culture tides and ongoing dramas?
In 2007, KUWTK first aired on TV, shooting the family to fame. The reality show on the lives of Kim, Kourtney, Khloé, Kendall, Kylie, Rob, and their “momager” Kris Jenner, was a hit. However, Kim’s leaked sex tape with Ray J, her then-boyfriend, made her infamous even before the show aired. Marriages, divorces, cheating scandals, high-profile relationships, and lucrative business ventures keep the brood in the spotlight.
Over the years, the family built up their empire even more. They started various side deals, including Kim’s KKW Beauty and Skims, Khloé’s Good American denim line, and Kylie’s company, Kylie Cosmetics, rumored to have made her a billionaire, though that was disputed. Additionally, their personal lives and feuds with other celebs also kept them in the news. There was Kim’s 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries, Khloé’s relationship with Tristan Thompson, and the Jordyn Woods scandal. They shared their entire lives with the public, and their social media presence grew their fame. Kim’s “Break the Internet” Paper cover and the Taylor Swift-Kanye West feud also bolstered their popularity.
Despite their success, the Kardashian-Jenners have faced critics and beefs. Remember Kendall’s famous Pepsi commercial? Social change and Black Lives Matter activists accused her of trivializing the movement. Kim’s multiple instances of alleged cultural appropriation upset the public. Two of the most recently cited problems are their lack of “authenticity” and “reliability.”
One illustration is Kim’s shapewear line. Initially named “Kimono,” the name drew anger for stealing items from a culture, not hers. The kimono is a traditional Japanese garment with significant meaning for the culture. Kim eventually re-branded the line as Skims. However, the incident left a sour taste in many people’s mouths.

One of the most recent dramas is the whiplash-inducing 2023 Met Gala invite scandal. The entire family was declared “banned” by Page Six. The outlet reversed its claim just days later and said Kim was in. But can the Kardashian-Jenners, a family whose very foundation is pop culture, indeed be “canceled”? Their ability to bounce back from controversies is admirable. Even more, maintaining a stronghold of public attention is a testament to their resilience and adaptability. As they pivot their brands to accommodate changing societal values, they still possess the potential to remain relevant.
Take Kim’s foray into criminal justice reform, for example. Her efforts to free Alice Marie Johnson from a life sentence are impressive. Also, her pursuit of a law degree is a new side of the reality star we haven’t seen. Similarly, Kendall’s recent activism, including her support for the Black Lives Matter movement, seems legit to some. Yet, to others, it’s just more family finessing.

However, with a family routinely caught out for stealing ideas, lying, arguing, and outright faking drama for PR, who knows? Kardashian-Jenners must maintain this momentum and show genuine growth and accountability if they want to reclaim trust. Their controversies extend beyond those mentioned above. Remember Rob Kardashian’s up-and-down relationship with Blac Chyna? Even worse, their reality show Rob & Chyna and their public and messy breakup.
Further, Kylie Jenner initially denied using lip fillers, fueling rumors and criticism on social media. She eventually admitted to having lip fillers, but the incident raised questions about the family’s honesty and transparency. Additionally, Kendall and Kylie faced backlash for their “vintage” T-shirt line. The two youngest of the clan superimposed their images over iconic musicians, including Tupac, Biggie, and Pink Floyd. The outrage was fast and real. The entire line was pulled, and the sisters quickly apologized, but the damage to their reputation was already done.
Are The Recent Family Changes Sincere Or More Of The Same?

Critics say the Kardashian-Jenners’ involvement in multiple controversies is their own doing. They add that their struggle to keep up with the changing times has been insincere. Social media echos this feeling and has led to an increased number of people calling for their “cancelation.” While it’s true that they still have a large fan base and continue to make headlines, many say it’s too little too late. They need to adapt more genuinely to the ever-changing landscape of pop culture and social awareness.

It’s officially New Music Friday, and of the slew of new tracks that dropped at midnight, what has so far stood out the most is Drake’s new one, “Search & Rescue.” The track has actually been making headlines for a few days now, when Drake previewed it and revealed it featured a sample of Kim Kardashian talking about her and Kanye West’s divorce.
What exactly does Kardashian say about Kanye West on Drake’s “Search & Rescue?”
The sample is of a conversation between Kardashian and Kris Jenner, from an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. The exchange goes:
Kardashian: “I didn’t come this far just to come this far and not be happy.”
Jenner: “OK, that’s fair.”
Kardashian: “Remember that.”
Jenner: “You didn’t come this far just to come this far.”
Kardashian: “Yup. I saw it on the internet [laughs].”

Over the years, the Kardashian-Jenner women have been publicly linked to an impressive roster of celebrity men. Matriarch Kris Jenner had her first three children with high-profile attorney Robert Kardashian. They eventually went their separate ways due to infidelity. He ultimately died after a tragic battle with cancer, and the reality starlet moved on with Olympic athlete Caitlyn Jenner, who’s the father of her youngest two daughters.

Since the 67-year-old and her ex-husband went their separate ways in 2013, a lot has changed for both of them. The transgender star has moved further away from the spotlight. At the same time, the mother of six is constantly finding new ways to step into it. One thing that certainly caught the public’s attention is when she began dating Corey Gamble, who’s 25 years her junior.
As Page Six notes, they’ve been together since 2014. They currently live in a Calabasas mansion together next to Khloé Kardashian. The couple has had their shares of ups and downs over the years, and at times, Jenner’s children have openly questioned Gamble’s motives. He’s always been a highly private person, and to this day not much is known about him by the general public.
Regardless of any past drama, the lovers seem to be happier than ever as they’re currently facing plenty of engagement speculation. Earlier this week, the famous momager flaunted a massive diamond ring on her Instagram Story. The heart-shaped rock was shown on her ginger while her hand was placed on top of Gambles. No caption was provided, but that hasn’t stopped the internet from speculating.
“Did you see Kris’ latest [IG] story? A new ring from him? Engaged?” Reddit users began pondering. “I was thinking engagement,” one response agrees. Another person chimed in, “A Kris wedding sounds like fun content for the show.” Of course, the theories don’t confirm anything, but Page Six did get the scoop on Jenner’s exquisite new jewelry.
Kyron, Keogh, ROX’s Managing Director and Co-founder tells them, “Fit for Kardashian royalty, Kris Jenner’s ring is the picture of romance, and looks like a heart cut of approximately 10 carats, with baguette diamonds on either side.” He also mentioned that “Heart-cut diamonds are one of the most sought-after diamond shapes and are becoming increasingly popular amongst fiancés-to-be who are not afraid to stand out.”
This isn’t the first time Gamble and his long-time partner have caused wedding rumours to fly. O.J. Simpson is standing strong in stating he is not the father of Khloe Kardashian. The famed football star hit the Full Send Podcast to discuss a plethora of topics, including a long-rumored romance with Kris Jenner. It is said that that relationship was the birth of Khloe, but O.J. says no.
O.J. stated he thought Kris was a “cute girl,” but he preferred to date supermodels at the time.
“The rumor ain’t true. It’s not even nowhere close to being true,” Simpson said. “It’s just that I have never been attracted to her, and I never suspected that she was ever attracted to me, so that was never the case.”
O.J. would then shut down the possible paternity of Kardashian by stating, “No, I’m not.”

There has been some tension between Kanye West and Kris Jenner in recent times, so it seemed like more may have been on the way yesterday (September 28) when West changed his Instagram profile photo to an image of Jenner, the same one Jenner currently uses as her own profile picture. It appears West had good intentions here, though.
Yesterday, fans noticed that West had changed his profile picture; The first mentions on Twitter of Ye’s new profile image are from around 5:20 p.m. ET yesterday. Hours later, at around 10:30 p.m. ET, West took to his Instagram Story to explain what was going on, writing, “I posted Kris with thoughts of peace and respect. Lets change the narrative.”

This comes about a month after West shared screenshots of what appeared to be text conversations between him and Kim Kardashian. One of the texts apparently from Kardashian read, “From my mom- PLEASE Tell him to stop mentioning my name. I’m almost 67 years old and I don’t always feel great and this stresses me to no end.”
Meanwhile, West recently sat down for an interview with Good Morning America/ABC News Live, in which he said of Kardashian, “This is the mother of my children and I apologize for any stress that I have caused.”
It’s been an interesting few weeks for Kim Kardashian and her exes. Earlier this month, Ray J blasted the reality star and her mom, Kris Jenner, for allegedly being the brains behind their infamous 2007 sex tape. According to Ray, the momager watched three sex tapes starring him and Kim, and chose to leak the one that gave her daughter “a better look.”
“You’re watching a whole family create an empire from a lie they’ve created, it’s heartbreaking and disrespectful to all the entertainers who have been honest and true to their craft,” he stated in an Instagram rant. The “One Wish” singer isn’ the one of Kim exes to blast Jenner. Kanye West is known for outing the famous family — specifically Kim and Kris.

Earlier this month, he accused his ex-mother-law of coercing her two of her daughters, Kim and Kylie, to pose for Playboy. “Hollywood is a giant brothel. Pornography destroyed my family,” he shared in a post. I deal with the addiction [and] Instagram promotes it. Not gonna let it happen to Northy and Chicago.”
Fans thought the father of four had reignited his war on Kris Jenner after he changed his profile photo to a picture of the famous momager. However, Ye’ denied the claims, saying that he “POSTED KRIS WITH THOUGHTS OF PEACE AND RESPECT.” For those claiming that the the DONDA rapper used the photo of Kris to perpetuate drama, he added, “LETS CHANGE THE NARRATIVE.”
Kanye’s new profile pic comes on the heels of reports that the 45-year old designer hired a high profile lawyer for his divorce case against Kim. According to Page Six, Ye hired Melinda Gates’ former lawyer Robert Stephan Cohen. Cohen has also represented Rupert Murdoch, Michael Bloomberg, Uma Thurman and James Gandolfini.
Cohen recently said of his celebrity clientele, “We have more code names for our clients in this firm than probably a lot of other firms who do these things, because we have to generally hide and keep secret the fact that we’re representing somebody before it becomes public.”

Whether he comes down hard or drops subtle jabs, Kanye West isn’t letting up on applying pressure when it comes to Kris Jenner. There was a time when Ye saw Jenner as his mother-in-law, but once his split with Kim Kardashian went public, Ye didn’t mince words about Jenner’s influence.
During his previous rants on social media, West has made it clear that he has a bone to pick with the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch. Most recently, the very mention of her name reportedly caused Jenner to request that the mogul not mention her in his posts.

It looks like he honored that request and instead, took aim via his Instagram profile. It’s there that Ye made his profile photo a picture of Jenner, and while this doesn’t violate any rules, it can certainly get under someone’s skin.
West isn’t the only person who has Jenner on their radar; Ray J has been at it for weeks in an effort to clear his name. According to the singer, Jenner has led a campaign to vilify him in connection to the sex tape he released with Kim all those years ago. Ray has long insisted that he had nothing to do with the tape’s release and that Jenner orchestrated the entire ordeal.
Yet, Jenner recently sat down for a late-night talk show polygraph examination where she answered questions about being involved. She denied culpability and the test allegedly determined she was being truthful. This caused Ray J to pull out his receipts, including signed contracts.
