Kris Jenner Gifts Grandson Psalm a $1,500 Toy Tesla Cybertruck for His 5th Birthday

Whelp, it’s nice to be a Kardashian and West grandchild. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s son, Psalm, just received a lavish birthday gift from grandma Kris Jenner: a $1,500 toy Tesla Cybertruck.

Kim shared the extravagant present on her Instagram Stories, expressing her gratitude to her mother for the generous gesture.

“Thank you mom! @krisjenner for the coolest gift for Psalm for his bday,” Kim wrote alongside a video showcasing the miniature version of the Cybertruck. “Baby Cyber truck.”

In the IG clip, Kim, 43, mentioned how her son would now “match mommy,” referring to her own full-size Cybertruck, which comes with a hefty price tag ranging from $60,990 to nearly $100,000. Psalm expressed his excitement about driving the all-electric car to school, but Kim gently redirected him before inviting him to hop into his new ride.

Psalm, born in May 2019 via surrogate, enjoyed testing his new wheels with his older brother, Saint. You can tell those two are going to be inseparable. The kid-friendly Cybertruck, with a maximum speed of 10 mph, boasts LED headlights and taillights. Basically, it’s a dripped-out big wheels kids. Currently out of stock online, the vehicle comfortably seats up to two kids aged 6 to 12.

The birthday celebrations continued with a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle-themed cake featuring the heroes emerging from a sewer with their swords. Kim shared heartfelt sentiments on Instagram, describing Psalm as “sweet, smart, silly, independent” and expressing her gratitude for his calm energy in their household. C’mon, you know they throw the best lavish kids’ parties.

“I can’t tell you how blessed I feel to be your mom!” Kim wrote, accompanied by a carousel of photos capturing their special moments together. “You prove you can be the hulk, spider man or an archeologist any day of the week!” she added, promising to share her extensive photo album of his sleeping moments. “I love you so much always and forever.”

Kris Jenner Reveals She Landed Tristan Thompson His ESPN Gig

On this week’s episode of The Kardashians, it was revealed Kris Jenner was the reason that Tristan Thompson joined ESPN for a brief stint earlier in 2023. While talking about the gig during the episode, Thompson went out of his way to thank Jenner for pulling some strings to land him the coveted job. “It’s a dream. I mean, the fact that we could have that call on Friday, and they say, ‘Can you start Monday?’ That never happens to anyone,” Jenner quipped. “I was able to reach out to ABC/Disney and really express how talented I thought Tristan was. And how they would really benefit from him being a part of the ESPN team, for example,” Jenner added in a confessional.

Thompson was not the most engaging analyst and was used sparingly by ESPN between January and April. He left the position when he was signed by the Lakers. Perhaps his most memorable moment was in one of his first appearances on the network. In it, he argued that LeBron should be an MVP candidate in the 2022-23 season. It was an astonishingly bad take given LeBron’s mediocre season. In fact, the 2022-23 season became the first season of LeBron’s career in which he received zero MVP votes.

Thompson has been getting a lot of airtime in this season of The Kardashians. However, the ESPN bit with Kris has been one of the more positive parts. After Kim praised Thompson in the prior episode, the sister of one of his baby mama took to Instagram. “Its been so hard to refrain from speaking up, and out of respect for my sister. I haven’t for over 7 years. but this is just too much. It’s so painful to see how Tristan can find the time to these nice things for others but can’t seem to show up and be a real parent my nephew Prince,” the lengthy statement began. The post went on to call out Kim Kardashian for defending Thompson’s character on a “global platform”. Furthermore, it disputed the claims that Thompson pays child support.

Prince is Tristan’s son with Jordan Craig. Born in December 2016, Thompson reportedly ditched Craig for Khloe Kardashian while Craig was heavily pregnant. Kardashian has denied this rumor. However, Craig announced her pregnancy about a month after Thompson was spotted in Mexico with Kardashian.

Instead, Jenner claims that the line was cherry-picked for use in a promo for an upcoming documentary about the Kardashian dynasty. A source close to Jenner told TMZ that while “calculated” may not have been the best choice of words, Jenner’s complimentary comments of Kim had been edited to be more inflammatory.
