Starbucks Workers Get Clever With ‘Kanye West Or Pete Davidson’ Tip Jars

As Kanye West’s campaign to continuously rail on Pete Davidson — who has been dating his ex-wife Kim Kardashian — presses on, some clever Starbucks baristas are using the ongoing spat as a way to generate more tips.

In a TikTok video captured by user @dejapoo00, she visits a Starbucks drive-thru that has two separate tip jars on the counter; one is labeled “Kanye West” and the other says “Pete Davidson.” She drops a dollar in the Davidson jar, which was visibly receiving more love. The Kanye jar, in fact, seemed to be filled with mostly chump change.

In recent months, Davidson has frequently been the subject of the rapper’s ire. The ongoing feud between the two sees no signs of stopping, granted most or all of the pettiness has been initiated and perpetuated by Ye. Most recently, the stop-motion video for Kanye and The Game’s track “Eazy,” (the lyrics of which have Ye saying that he wants to “beat Pete Davidson’s ass”) depicts a claymation Davidson getting killed, buried, and turned into a plant. Meanwhile, good sport Davidson took it in stride, saying it was “hysterical” and that he is “flattered by it all because it is so ridiculous to him.”

As Kanye keeps throwing jabs and Davidson keeps letting them roll off his shoulder, it’s easy to see why most of the Starbucks tip money is ending up in Pete Davidson’s jar and why the top TikTok post comments are also largely backing Davidson over Ye. And while West’s antics are coming across as increasingly childish, if it helps already underpaid Starbucks baristas make some extra cash, then that’s a win for the little guys.

Pete Davidson Reportedly Found Kanye West’s ‘Eazy’ Video ‘Hysterical’ And ‘Ridiculous’

Although Kanye West’s macabre, stop-motion animation video for his and the Game’s new song “Eazy” has ruffled a lot of feathers on the internet, even prompting a response from the artist himself arguing for his right to express himself artistically, at least person — arguably, the person who should be most offended by it — reportedly found it pretty darn amusing.

Pete Davidson, whom Kanye targeted in the video with a claymation effigy that gets kidnapped, buried, and turned into a planter, found Kanye’s video “hysterical,” according to Entertainment Tonight Online. A source told ET that not is Pete “not threatened by Kanye in any way, shape or form,” but that he also “finds the fact that Kanye included a cartoon version of him in his music video hysterical. He is almost flattered by it all because it is so ridiculous to him.”

Kanye’s anger at the comedian stems from the fact that Davidson has been dating Kim Kardashian, Kanye’s ex-wife, for the past several months as the couple takes opposing views on their ongoing divorce. While West wants to reconcile, Kardashian has expressed repeatedly she has no desire to do so, even going so far as to request the court expedite the legal status of their split — which was granted last week, on the same day Kanye shared the “Eazy” video on Instagram.

Kanye’s since taken down the video, replacing it with his post denying that it was a legitimate threat to Davidson. Meanwhile, ETOnline reports that Pete and Kim have decided that the video is an obvious bid to cause friction between them but say it’s done just the opposite, bringing them closer together as Kanye keeps attacking both via social media.

YE hit Instagram and shared a text from Kim stating he is “creating a dangerous and scary environment” that poses a possibility of harm being done to Davidson.

“I will always do everything to protect you and our family forever,” YE responded. “And I listened to you and told everyone to make sure nothing physical happens to Skete.”

He then added to his fans that he will “handle the situation myself.”

A new claymation video from Ye formerly, Kanye West shows him burying his now ex-wife Kim Kardashian’s boyfriend Pete Davidson.

An animated music video was released this week for the new Kanye West song “Eazy,” feat. west coast rapper The Game, and it shows the 44-year-old rapper kidnapping a character that looks like SNL comedian Pete Davidson and burying him out in the desert.

The video was posted on West’s Instagram account yesterday, less than two hours after a Los Angeles County judge declared his former wife, Kim Kardashian, legally single.

The Skims founder filed for divorce over a year ago. She attended yesterday’s hearing by video link. Ye did not attend. However, his lawyer did not object to the divorce. He did say many legal issues still need to be resolved.

Kim Kardashian has been dating Davidson since October of 2021.
