On Monday (March 13), the Canadian celebrated his 32nd trip around the Sun, which earned him a heartfelt tribute post from his ex.

The last year has been rocky for the former couple, with Kardashian finding out about yet another of Thompson’s infidelities while awaiting the birth of their second baby together via surrogate. In wake of that (somewhat) shocking news, reports came forward stating that the mother of two had no interest in a romantic reconciliation with Thompson. However, he’s since bought a house located incredibly close to Kardashian and her mother, Kris Jenner, shortly before the death of his own mom, Andrea Thompson, in early 2023. Immediately upon hearing the news, the co-parents came together to fly to Toronto where they mourned their unexpected loss.

The tragedy seems to have brought them closer together and given the basketball star a new outlook on life. In a heartfelt tribute to his fallen angel, Thompson apologized for any embarrassment he may have caused while also promising to become better and grow. According to Kardashian’s annual birthday tribute to her children’s father, he seems to be following through with his commitment. “Happy birthday @realtristan13. Khloe Kardashian Sued By Ex-Assistant, Denies Not Compensating Him

Khloe Kardashian is seemingly under fire after being sued by her former household assistant. Matthew Manhard, who had worked for the 38-year-old from January 2019 until November 2022, had sustained a knee injury that kept him out of work. He claims that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star had fired him upon returning to the job. Accordingly, Manhard is suing Kardashian in violation of multiple California labor laws. He goes as far as to call his former working conditions a “nightmare,” TMZ reports.

Legal representatives for Kardashian remain unwavering by these accusations. According to the case files obtained by the news outlet, one rep stated, “it’s unfortunate to learn that a former employee would choose to go this route. Matthew was properly classified and compensated for his role.” Manhard’s injury kept him from working from May to November of 2022. The legal team reflected, “toward the end of his employment, he was on a leave of absence for an extended period of time and the role eventually needed to be replaced. We will not tolerate false accusations and will prove that this is a frivolous lawsuit.” Needless to say, Kardashian’s lawyers are fighting back hard.

Kardashian’s Former Assistant Claims Working Conditions Were A “Nightmare”

According to Manhard’s “accusations,” being Kardashian’s household assistant was a far-from-easy task. He claims that he’d often work 12-hour shifts without being compensated for overtime hours. Additionally, these shifts were often packed with back-to-back tasks, not allowing Manhard to take legally required breaks.

While the fate of Manhard’s case is yet to be decided, this is not the first time that a member of the Kardashian clan has faced a lawsuit. Previously, the family battled with Blac Chyna over $100 million. Chyna took the Kardashian-Jenners to court last year over the cancellation of the Rob & Chyna series. The court ruled in the favor of the reality television moguls. But even with facing haters chasing after their money, this iconic family remains unfazed. We’ve seen the California native on KUWTK, Lamar & Khloé, and even her own weight loss coaching series, Revenge Body. Additionally, the 38-year-old launched her Good American line a few years back. She chiefly designs products that help women of all shapes and sizes feel confident. For her most recent collection, Kardashian is bringing “Bosswear” to the office.

For the accompanying campaign shoot, the reality starlet tapped the woman who taught her everything she knows about girl bossing – Kris Jenner. Photos show the pair looking stunning in sharp black blazers worn over sheer tights and pointy heels. While certainly stylish, there’s no denying that not everyone would be brave enough to sport the Bosswear looks during their regular workday.

Tristan Thompson Buys Mansion 2 Miles From Khloé Kardashian

It’s been an undeniably turbulent few weeks for Tristan Thompson. He began 2023 on a sombre note with the unexpected death of his mother. Following Andrea’s sudden passing, the NBA star promptly flew back to his homeland of Toronto. His ex-girlfriend, Khloé Kardashian was standing strong by his side.

For the most part, Thompson has kept quiet in wake of his loss. His second baby mama, however, expressed her grief in a thoughtful Instagram tribute earlier this month. “I have so many emotions and still I feel numb,” she wrote earlier this month.

“Life can be brutally unfair at times. This has been one of the toughest times in so many of our lives. But at the same time, I feel blessed that I am lucky to have had someone that makes saying goodbye so incredibly difficult. So difficult that I’m choosing not to say goodbye for good because that is something I cannot fathom.”

As fate would have it, in the weeks before his mother’s passing, Thompson purchased a new home in mid-December. It’s located just two miles from Kardashian and her mom, Kris Jenner’s luxurious mansions.

Seeing as they’ve solidly supported him through this dramatic life change, living in close proximity to people who care about him will surely be a healthy step for the 31-year-old as he transitions into his new normal.

According to The Sun, a trust associated with Thompson signed a deed for the 10,584-square-foot property on the 16th of last month. Inside, the Canadian has amenities like a home theatre, private gym, refrigerated wine cellar, and a five-car garage.

Additionally, the six-bedroom home was built in 2010. It includes a private pool and spa, a garden, a half-basketball court, and a covered patio. It remains unclear if the baller moved into his new residence before receiving the bad news about Andrea.

Besides her turbulent relationship with Thompson, the mother of two also went through her share of trauma during her marriage to Lamar Odom. In a recent interview, the troubled athlete recalled a time that Kardashian caught him cheating at a hotel, subsequently “beating [the] bitch ass” out of rage.

Throughout her life, Khloé Kardashian has endured some seriously tragic relationships. Not only was she done dirty by her Canadian baby daddy (on numerous occasions), but she was also cheated on by her ex-husband, Lamar Odom, countless times throughout their union.

By now, it’s no secret that the reality stars were toxic to each other. The athlete has been candid about his severe addiction issues, even recently describing drugs as his “girlfriend” in his marriage to the Good American founder.

According to Odom, Kardashian knew about his bad habits for at least part of their time together. “You can’t hide that forever,” he previously said in a teaser for his Sex, Drugs, & Kardashians documentary on Hulu. “Behind the scenes, I put her through some sh*t. The things that y’all think y’all know, it’s crazy. But the stories that y’all don’t know is really crazy.”

Since that project aired earlier this month, the 43-year-old has been making rounds discussing some of the hot topics brought to light. Among them are his past infidelities, which Lamar reveals once caused his wife to get physical with another woman.

When asked about the craziest night of his life, the New York native immediately had a story to tell. “Khloé, she came into this motherf*cking hotel room… I was at the hotel room with some other women, she came in and she started beating a bitch’s ass!”

I’m thinking about someone pressing charges, TMZ,” he recalled. Afterward, the other woman in the situation reportedly didn’t contact the police.

In the same interview, the former NBA star was asked how many times he was actually caught cheating. “Two,” he confirmed. “That’s not bad, she seems like a forgiving person,” the host said in response.
