Their five-show run will coincide with Rock’s Ego Death World Tour, his first major comedy tour in over five years.

Titled Only Headliners Allowed, the two will perform on five consecutive days across venues in New York and New Jersey including Madison Square Garden on July 23, and at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on July 25. Tickets are set to go on sale on Friday, March 11 at 10 a.m. ET, with Live Nation presales releasing the day before.

“When Chris and I realized we were both going to be on tour this year we immediately knew we needed to do something special,” Hart said in a statement upon announcing the tour. “We have been friends and mentors to each other for 20 years, but we have never shared a headlining stage together – until now!!! I cannot think of a better way to celebrate the return of live comedy than to co-headline a show with my brother Chris Rock. This is a major moment in comedy and one for the history books.”

In a now edited comment, Chris Rock captioned his announcement “I can’t wait to make history with him and destroy these markets!!!!!! Buckle up bitcheeeeesssss…..it’s about to go down! More dates to come.”

‘Real Husbands of Hollywood’ Showrunner Praises Writers For Bringing the Funny in New Season

First Look: 'Real Husbands of Hollywood: - More Kevin, More Problems' Set for Feb. 2022

The Real Husbands of Hollywood returns to BET+ after a nearly 6-year hiatus since the premiere of its fifth season. The original cast Kevin Hart, Boris Kodjoe, Duane Martin, JB Smoove, Nelly, Nick Cannon, Robin Thicke, and more, reunite for a six-part limited series.

This season, similar to the past, is filled with celebrity guest appearances that have no issue stepping into the comedic landscape to serve the audience.

“I think Duane said it best,” says Boris Kodjoe. “We never said goodbye.”

Wayne Stamps, the series’ showrunner for season 6, says the timing of the revival could not have come at a better time.

“I just feel like now is the perfect time because people just need to laugh…. to relieve pressure and stress. There’s no show better that’s doing that than this.”

This season, similar to the past, is filled with celebrity guest appearances that have no issue stepping into the comedic landscape to serve the audience.

This revival is titled: ‘The Real Husbands of Hollywood – More Kevin, More Problem.

“The impetus for this season started with our conversation with Kevin. We asked him, ‘how are you doing all of this with so much going on in your life’” says Stamps. “Kevin does a great job of exaggerating his life on screen as well, which is a big help.”

Stamp credits the writing staff for building each episode with a comedic cliff-hanging sequence as “each episode gets more funny.”

Hart, who hilariously teased the show nearly a decade ago while hosting the 2012 BET Awards, is more booked and busy than ever. Hart is cloned to physically fulfill his personal and professional commitments with a jam-packed schedule.

What may have seemed like a good idea takes an unexpected turn that Kevin and the guys do their best to get control of? The guys are pulled into Kevin’s cloned chaos but have a dramady of their own.

“The best thing about this show is we all get made fun of equally,” says Robin Thicke.

Nick Cannon Has So Many Kids That Kevin Hart Sent Him A Condom Vending Machine For Valentine’s Day

Nick Cannon has seven kids with four women, spawning the meme among fans that he’s notoriously prolific. For instance, when Cannon responded to Saweetie’s tweet about wanting kids with a raised hand emoji, commenters lit up Twitter with jokes about keeping him away from her. While he insisted the tweet was innocent fun, it looks like no one is taking chances. Now, one of Cannon’s fellow multi-hyphenate standup veterans is also stepping up to help slow down the hip-hop Genghis Khan.

Kevin Hart, who previously trolled Cannon with a billboard sharing his phone number while offering his services as a fatherhood advisor, sent Nick a Valentine’s Day gift to help him keep his child support payments under control: a vending machine loaded with condoms. Cannon posted a photo of the gift to Instagram, although he didn’t initially reveal who sent it to him. “Looks like somebody just sent me an early Valentine’s Day gift!!” he wrote. “Vending Machine full of Magnums!”

Of course, Hart wanted to make sure everyone knew who was responsible, so he reposted Cannon’s pic with his own caption. “I see u got my gift @nickcannon,” he gloated. “GOTCHA BITCH!!!!!! ….Now u don’t have an excuse because the condoms are free.”

It looks like the next move in the duo’s ongoing prank war belongs to Nick, but he’ll have to work hard to top this.

Meek Mill Donates $15M To Philadelphia Schools Alongside Kevin Hart And Michael Rubin

Even before a global pandemic knocked the education world on its hindquarters, some school systems were already hard-hit by budget issues — districts like Philadelphia providing some of the best examples. However, local celebrities are pitching in to make a difference. Today, Philadelphian rapper Meek Mill, along with hometown comic hero Kevin Hart and 76ers co-owner Michael Rubin, announced plans to donate $15 million to 110 Philadelphia schools for the 2022-2023 school year.

The $15 million figure marks a huge jump from the last big donation Meek and Rubin made in 2020 when they created a $2 million scholarship fund to help students through the pandemic and coinciding lockdowns. It also sees the partners following through on a commitment they made in 2019. During an interview on The Breakfast Club, Rubin said, “We care about education a lot. I don’t know if you guys saw, Meek and I have been talking a lot about education. We’re actually gonna commit, between Meek and I in Pennsylvania, millions of dollars to Pennsylvania schools this year.”

Meek himself has worked for years to give back to his hometown, partnering with Puma to revitalize local basketball courts, and organizing backpack and school supply giveaways. Although he was knocked in 2020 for being cheap toward some kids who were selling water, it looks like he really is trying to make good on his promises for the city’s youth.

Louis C.K. And Dave Chappelle Getting Grammy Nominations Is Making People Wonder If Maybe ‘Cancel Culture’ Isn’t Real

It’s become fashionable, even profitable, to come out against what is known as “cancel culture.” Opponents to this practice, whose very existence is debatable, claim people, usually young progressives, destroy the lives of those who say or do things they problematic. Others argue it’s a fiction, invented by culture warlords to protect those who don’t want their controversial views called into question. So when Dave Chappelle, under fire for anti-trans comments, and Louis C.K., who confessed to multiple cases of sexual misconduct in 2017, wound up with Grammy nominations on Tuesday, some wondered if “cancel culture” was perhaps not as powerful, or as real, as some have claimed.

C.K., who’s been playing big shows again, wound up fêted with a Best Comedy Album nom for Sincerely Louis C.K. Meanwhile, fellow comic Chappelle received a nom not for comedy but for Best Spoken Word Album, for 8:46, which he released mid-pandemic, and which addressed the murder of George Floyd. That means he’ll be competing against no less than Barack Obama, for A Promised Land.

The two weren’t the only “cancelled” artists who wound up with Grammy nominations. Marilyn Manson, who’s facing sexual assault lawsuits from several women, wound up recognized for his work on Kanye West’s Donda. Kevin Hart, whose homophobic comments led to him withdrawing as host of the 2019 Oscars, will compete with C.K. for the comedy album Zero F***s Given.

Chappelle has not apologized for his anti-trans comments, which he’s made across numerous specials for Netflix. After his most recent controversial special, The Closer, dropped, he even told a roaring crowd, “If this is what being canceled is like, I love it.” Perhaps it was a joke on how “cancel culture” isn’t real, that it doesn’t destroy lives but make them stronger. Or perhaps he was just reveling in his infamy.

But when word broke out that C.K., Chappelle and other “cancelled” artists were being celebrated by a major awards body, some people on social media wondered if “cancel culture” was just a bunch of BS.

Some wondered why Chappelle was nominated but not Bo Burnham’s acclaimed Inside.

Others pointed to another “cancelled” celebrity who recently revealed good career news: alleged Lethal Weapon 5 director Mel Gibson.
