Kevin Gates Posts NSFW Childbirth Video On Instagram

Congratulations to Kevin Gates and Dreka Haynes on the birth of their child. However, in 2013, Gates told Complex, “It really doesn’t make sense to say [how many kids I have]. Not in a bad way, but it’s not like the public will ever get to see my children.”

Well, it seems that Gates’ opinion has changed after he posted a very explicit video to his Instagram story. HotNewHipHop has chosen not to share a link to the video. However, the video is a very graphic clip taken from the birth of Gates’ newest. When say we graphic, we mean that it puts most sex ed videos to shame. Gates’ wife Dreka Haynes is visibly giving birth in the clip. You have been warned.

Safe to say, people weren’t jazzed about the video. “DO NOT LOOK AT KEVIN GATES INSTAGRAM STORY. TRUST ME.” writes one user. A number of users posting gifs and videos implying they were going to kill themselves so they could forget having seen the video. We’re all for the miracle of childbirth but damn, maybe not your Instagram Story? What makes it even worse is that it’s on his story. There’s no way to know what he posted until you click on it and have witnessed it for yourself.

Again, this is what Gates said in 2013. “I got some children. I’m real real close with them. I lay in the bed with them, hold them, love on them. It really doesn’t make sense to say [how many kids I have]. Not in a bad way, but it’s not like the public will ever get to see my children, and if they do see them, they aren’t going to know they’re mine.” How can you say that and then put your wife’s whole deal on the internet like that? There’s a whole baby coming out of her and you’re just like, “hell yeah, let’s put this on Instagram”

Kevin Gates Reveals Why He Loves Hunting

Kevin Gates doesn’t like to buy his meat at the grocery store. He prefers to hunt for it himself. In a new interview with AllHipHop.com, Gates opened up about his love of hunting deer. However, he makes it clear that he doesn’t just do it for sport. For him, it is also about mental health. According to the rapper, hunting can be likened to a spiritual experience. “It takes pure focus. It’s almost like meditation,” he says in the interview. “You got to be in sync with it.” In addition to his own meditative reasoning, Gates uses his hunting skills to provide for his family.

Once Gates makes a kill, he makes sure to show thanks to God for providing food. Then, he takes great care to dress the animal to ensure the meat remains untainted. The rapper says this gives him a greater understanding of and connection to the meat that he consumes. The rapper recently opened up about how taking a life is sacred, so it makes sense that he would go to great lengths to respect the animals he hunts and show his thankfulness. As rewarding as the experience may be, Gates acknowledges that it will never yield immediate results. “I know I’m not going to get instant results,” he says. “I know I got to put work in… to cultivate it and develop it.”

Gates Receives Key To His Hometown

His newfound love of hunting is not the only development in Kevin Gates’ life recently. He has also received the key to his hometown, Baton Rouge. The rapper was surprised on stage with the honor. Afterward, he took to social media to post his gratitude for the recognition. “Feeling grateful and honored to have received the key to the city of Baton Rouge!” Gates said on his Instagram after the event. “It’s a privilege and I look forward to continuing to contribute to its growth and prosperity.”

The Shade Room posted a video of the event, and commenters seemed displeased. Some wondered why Gates received the key when others deserved it. “Love Gates but as a Baton Rougian… Boosie does way more for his city…” one user said. Another chimed in to agree, commenting, “That belongs to Boosie.” While many of the commenters expressed distaste, other users were downright lost. “What these keys be unlocking?” one user said. “I always wanted to know.” What do you think of Kevin Gates’ new hunting hobby? Also, do you think he deserved the key to the city? Sound off in the comments to let us know!

Kevin Gates Avoids Getting Sick Not Because Of A Strong Immune System, But By ‘Telling The Truth’

Kevin Gates isn’t afraid to share, whether it’s explaining why he almost went one full month without eating or drinking or vulnerably sharing about sexual abuse he suffered in adolescence.

Gates cares about the truth.

“From me not telling the truth, my throat chakra started getting blocked, and I started getting sick,” Gates said on the I Am Athlete episode from Monday, April 3, beginning around the 50-minute mark. “I started having colds and sh*t until I started opening my throat chakra and speaking the truth. I haven’t been sick since.”

He continued, “When I was living at the other spot before I moved here, I used to be sick a lot. Like, weak and everything because I wasn’t speaking my truth, and when I’m not speaking my truth, I’m not living in my truth. When you set boundaries, you’re showing love for yourself. It’s OK to tell people, ‘No, not today.’ But I had a fear of telling people no because, you know, once you tell them no, they act like you never told them yeah.”

Gates, a practicing Muslim, began the episode discussing Ramadan.

“Fasting is the cure for everything,” he said. “When your body don’t have nothing to eat, it’s gonna eat all your bad cells up because it goes into fight or flight. When it eats your bad cells, your body releases hydrogen, and you know, we breathe in oxygen.”

When co-host LeSean McCoy asked when fasting for Ramadan happens, Gates added, “Most people do from sun-up to sundown, but I like to do it to where when I break my fast, it’s just with liquids. I like that liquid diet.”

Gates rapped about, um, food sources in his February single “Breakfast.”

Kevin Gates is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Kevin Gates Claims He Stopped Getting Sick Once He Started “Telling The Truth”

Kevin Gates has made plenty of baffling claims in the past. He once claimed that he jumpstarted a car with his bare hands – a statement that Akademiks pushed back against. Generally speaking, his holistic health advice has led many to wonder if he’s ever speaking the truth. Some have placed him as one of hip-hop’s most prolific liars while others feel like he simply likes to stir the pot. But, on the latest episode of I Am Athlete, Gates provided a questionable response surrounding his immune system

Gates explained to the hosts that he hasn’t gotten sick in a long time, which he credits for frequently telling the truth. “From me not telling the truth, my throat chakra started getting blocked and I started getting sick. I started having colds until I opened my throat chakra and speaking the truth. I haven’t been sick since,” he said. The hosts appeared puzzled by the claim, though he broke down how his mental and physical health work with one another.

Kevin Gates’ Latest Claim

“When I was living at the other spot before I moved here, I used to be sick a lot,” Gates continued. “Just weak and everything because I wasn’t speaking my truth. And when I’m not speaking my truth, I’m not living in my truth. And when you set boundaries, you’re showing love for yourself.” Even though the hosts didn’t seem entirely convinced about Gates’ claims, they transitioned the topic to the amount of pressure he faces as a breadwinner. The Louisiana rapper said that, these days, he doesn’t have trouble telling people “no.”

“It’s okay to tell people, ‘No, not today,’” Gates added. “But I had a fear of telling people, ‘No.’ Once you tell a n***ga, ‘No,’ they act like you never told ’em, ‘Yes.’” While Gates ended the segment with a relatively understandable point, fans continued to pile on him for his claims. Shortly after, he shared a pictograph from Karen Barrios that details the different ailments connected to emotions. Check out Gates’ interview above and peep his tweet below. Kevin Gates Says He Influenced NBA Youngboy & Other New Rappers

Kevin Gates really doesn’t get his dues. In recent times, his interviews and online antics have overshadowed any of his musical accomplishments but he’s undoubtedly a trailblazer. Throughout the years of the South dominating, Baton Rouge and Louisiana as a whole produced a number of stars. NBA Youngboy, specifically, is one of the most successful rappers right now, though Gates undoubtedly created a path for him to follow.

Unfortunately, the two have a strained relationship. They previously collaborated closely on the 4 Respect EP but things took a turn. Rumor is that NBA Youngboy took issue with Kevin Gates showing love to Fredo Bang’s project, leading the two to part ways from one another. Nonetheless, Kevin Gates continued to show love to NBA Youngboy over the years, even if those feelings aren’t reciprocated. However, in a recent interview, Gates explained why he doesn’t take any issue with YB.

Kevin Gates’s Influence On NBA Youngboy

During a recent interview with I Am Athlete, the Khaza artist explained that he laid down the foundation for a lot of rappers who’ve emerged in recent years. “I really gave ‘em the game. I’m super proud of ‘em, whatever whatever. Sometimes, people could love you so much… that period of existence will be shattered if you don’t disappear,” he said. A co-host asked him if he’s talking about NBA Youngboy to which he replies, “They got people like that” before explaining exactly how he inspired the young generation of artists that came after him.

With a storied career that dates back to the mid-aughts, Gates suggested that his influence became inevitable. “I been in the streets my whole life, so I got a bunch of people, like, y’all watch me do these things in the streets and emulated me and everything that y’all do,” he said, citing his accent and walk. “I love NBA Youngboy. That’s my lil’ baby. I’ll die for him right now. I’m talkin’ about look in the industry. Everything you see.” Check out the interview above and sound off with your thoughts in the comments. That’s what you are setting yourself up for.” Thus the ATL actor’s final album.

T.I. told The Breakfast Club that he’s ready to “get the hell outta here”.
