Katt Williams Stole Jokes From J.B. Smoove, Nelly Claims

Nelly has accused Kat Williams of stealing jokes from J.B. Smoove. “The hypocrisy of it is he stole J.B. Smoove’s joke,” Nelly said as Cedric the Entertainer spoke on his beef with Williams on The Shop. However, Nelly is not the first person to make the allegation against Williams. “I dare somebody to say this ain’t true ’cause I can get a thousand comics to back me up. I root for Katt, but that joke where he do like, ‘Man, if you listen to this song, you can do anything off this song. That’s J.B. Smoove’s joke, homie.,” Corey Holcomb said on the Wonder Twinz.

Of course, Williams accused Cedric the Entertainer of stealing jokes on Club Shay Shay. “1998, I’m doing this joke…Cedric comes to The Comedy Store, he watches me in the audience, he comes backstage, he tells me what a great job I did and how much he loves the joke. Two years later, he’s doing that as his last joke on The [Original] Kings Of Comedy and he’s doing it verbatim, he just changed my car into a spaceship,” Williams said. However, he also noted that Cedric had since apologized to him.

Katt Williams Club Shay Shay Interview Spoofed On Saturday Night Live

Of course, there were a lot of reactions to Williams’ fiery interview. Saturday Night Live took aim at Williams’ Club Shay Shay interview in an episode in January. Ego Nwodim played Williams while Devin Walker played Shannon Sharpe. The skit was billed as the “eight-hour extended version” of the interview. “Three things are true about me. I am 5’3, I have never told a lie, and I am 6’3,” Nwodim’s Williams says. Furthermore, the skit featured several jokes about Williams’ comments about Kevin Hart. “Look, Hollywood made Kevin Hart. Everyone knows Kevin Hart was made in the same factory where they make Teddy Grahams. Why the hell he smell like cinnamon?” ranted Williams. Other targets of Nwodim’s Williams included Barak Obama and included Williams claiming he invented fruit.

Furthermore, Williams has continued to fuel his post-interview beefs. He dropped a freestyle aimed at Ludacris while appearing on Suge Knight’s Collect Call podcast. “I’m coming for your number one spot, one of us a killer and the other one is not/ One of us the realest and the other one a fraud/ You heard the interview on ‘Club Shay Shay,’ I gave ’em all a payday/ I’m still going f-cking viral so who care what the haters say/ Ludacris, you must be out your rabid a– mind/ You made a rap song but, n-gga, you ain’t say I’m f-cking lying,” Williams rapped. Furthermore, Williams implied that Ludacris had engaged in a sexual relationship with Quincy Jones.

Kevin Hart Labels Katt Williams’ Criticism Of Him “Entertainment”

Kevin Hart says that Katt Williams’ criticism of him is just for “entertainment.” Hart reflected on his feud with the veteran comic during an interview with WSJ Magazine for its spring 2024 men’s fashion issue on Wednesday.

“It’s just that. It’s entertainment,” Hart told the outlet. “If that’s what he fuels himself off, God bless him. Good for him. I hope he gets all that he needs and he wants, and I’m here cheering for him from afar. That’s my real energy. I really mean it! That’s how happy and secure I am with my career and my life.”

Williams originally criticized Hart for taking the roles he had turned down during an interview with Shannon Sharpe on his Club Shay Shay podcast. “For a five year period, every single movie that Kevin Hart did was a movie that had been on my desk that all I had said was ‘Just can we take some of this step and fetching s— out and then I can do it?’” Williams said at the time. “And me saying that and them going ‘oh yeah, no problem’ and then going to give it to this other guy and having him do it just like it was and acting like I’m a bad person because I keep standing on my standards. It’s interesting, but I wouldn’t change it for the world – again, I’m on the winning side of these decisions.”

Nicki Minaj Says She’s Texting Katt Williams “Right TF Now” After His Joke About Joining Her On Tour

Nicki Minaj reacted to Katt Williams’ joke about joining her on the Pink Friday 2 World Tour on her Instagram Story, on Tuesday. In doing so, she remarked that she was already messaging him about getting it done. Minaj first brought up the idea on Instagram Live, last month.

“Nicki Minaj said she wanted me on her tour and she told so many people,” Williams said during a performance. “A million people hit my phone at the same time. It scared me and Jesus. He shut all of AT&T down.” Sharing the clip on Instagram, Minaj added: “Texting him right tf now,” with a laughing emoji.

As for last month’s Instagram Live, Minaj said: “I know that this is the busiest man in show business. I know that he’s rich, and I know that he’s the funniest man in showbiz. Can y’all hit up Katt Williams and ask him what would be his price…to be a part of the Pink Friday 2 Gag City Tour?” She had been referencing his recent bombshell interview with Shannon Sharpe on Club Shay Shay where he spoke candidly on a variety of people in the entertainment industry. Katt Williams Had A Hilarious Response To Nicki Minaj’s ‘Pink Friday 2 World Tour’ Guest Opener Invite

On March 1, Nicki Minaj kicked off her Pink Friday 2 World Tour. Although the intense performance run features special guest Monica, the opening slot remains unfilled. Back in February, the “Beep Beep” rapper began to gauge her fan base to see who they felt would be a good fit.

Through a live stream, Minaj finally landed on “the busiest man in show business,” Katt Williams. During the broadcast, she urged her fans to relay her invitation. “Can y’all hit up Katt Williams,” she said. “Ask him what would be his price to be a part of the ‘Pink Friday 2 Gag City Tour?””

Well, Williams has finally responded to Minaj. On March 3, as part of his Dark Matter Tour stop in Charlotte, North Carolina, he made a hilarious joke about the potential business venture. “Nicki Minaj said she wanted me on her tour, and she told so many people a million people hit my phone at the same time,” he said. It scared me and Jesus. He shut all of AT&T down!”

Although Williams’ reply wasn’t exactly a proper yes or no, it was enough to hype ticketholders up online. There are still several dozen dates left on the Pink Friday 2 World Tour, but perhaps Williams would be down to join after he wraps up his contractual duties.

Katt Williams to Stream Live Comedy Special on Netflix

The legendary unfiltered comedian Katt Williams didn’t hold back during his three-hour appearance on “The Joe Rogan Experience” this week, touching on a range of controversial topics and offering candid insights into several of his views.

The interview came nearly two months after Williams made headlines with his candid remarks on Shannon Sharpe’s “Club Shay Shay” podcast, where he suggested that Joe Rogan had avoided having him on his show. However, Rogan extended an invitation to Williams following the viral interview.

During the conversation, Williams addressed California’s ban on flavored vapes and menthol cigarettes, emphasizing the disproportionate impact on the Black community. He expressed concerns about the classification of menthol as a flavor, highlighting its significance to Black consumers.

When Rogan asked about the preference for menthol cigarettes among Black people, Williams acknowledged the sensitive nature of the topic Katt ripped into Rogan.

“That was fine, but they let it also hurt Black people in that it counted menthol as a flavor,” Williams said.

Rogan then asked, “Why do Black people like menthol cigarettes so much? What’s that about?”

Williams laughed, “You’re gonna get me canceled. This is very racist, this conversation. A Black person actually getting ready to answer this—it’s terrible on all ends.”

The popular comedian said Black people tend to prefer concentrated products and strong flavors.

“Before things were called concentrate, that’s what we appreciated, [what] was concentrated,” Williams said.

“There’s this whole thing with liquor and malt liquor and the difference between the two. One is richer and stronger and as a people, we tend to go with those products. And the fact that menthol is a natural thing, so anybody who’s from the South knows about mint plants — so you appreciate that as a flavor profile as well.”

Moving on to discuss transgenderism, Williams referred to it as a “satanic” trend rather than an identity, drawing parallels to the deity Baphomet, often associated with Satan. He reflected on his awareness of transgenderism as a concept and its connections to religious symbolism.

“20 years ago I knew that transgenders was gonna be a thing,” he said. “The earliest I had seen that word, transgender, was Baphomet, the transgender,” he added.

Baphomet is a deity with the head of a goat and the body of a man. He is often confused with Satan.

“So I knew that in the ritual of Baphomet, the transgender, to show allegiance to him you had to kiss his a*s ring.”

Rogan replied, “We got some good weed, Katt.

Katt Williams Responds To Nicki Minaj’s Tour Invite

One of the biggest tours of 2024 just got underway. Nicki Minaj has only played two shows in her Pink Friday 2 tour but it’s already making nightly news. But she obviously isn’t the only one on tour right now. Comedian Katt Williams is also making his way around the country on The Dark Matter Tour. A few weeks ago during an Instagram live, Nicki invited Williams to join her on the Pink Friday 2 Tour as an opening act. During a recent stand-up set, Williams finally responded to the invite.

While performing in Charlotte, Katt Williams brought up Nicki’s offer, though he didn’t linger on it for long. “Nicki Minaj said she wanted me on her tour and she told so many people a million people hit my phone at the same time. It scared me and Jesus. He shut all of AT&T down so my phone could cool off on the charger,” he remarked. While the joke didn’t necessarily directly address his feelings on the invitation, it’s yet another example of the amount of interest Nicki can create among her fans with just a few words. Check out a clip of Williams’ response below.

Katt Williams Jokes About Nicki Minaj Tour Invite

Earlier this year, Katt Williams caused quite a stir with his appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast. On the show he was given a platform to make seemingly whatever claims he wanted and he certainly made the most of the opportunity. Williams called out numerous figures in music, comedy, and Hollywood which were met with a variety of responses. The bizarre interview even ended up on Saturday Night Live where the cast parodied his increasingly unbelievable claims.

Williams almost teamed up with another musician a few years ago. In a recent interview Solange revealed she nearly worked with the comedian on her album A Seat At The Table. What do you think of Katt Williams response to Nicki Minaj inviting him onto the Pink Friday 2 Tour? Do you think he should have accepted her invitation? Let us know in the comment section below.

Solange Almost Worked With Katt Williams On “A Seat At The Table”

Today, Solange is seen as one of the most talented and acclaimed voices in all of R&B. Much of the reason for that begins with her 2016 critical darling album A Seat At The Table. The album featured contributions from an array of versatile talents including Lil Wayne, Sampha, Q-Tip, Kelly Rowland, Nia Andrews, and Kelela. It spawned a number of massively acclaimed tracks, in particular the song “Cranes In The Sky.” But despite the already impressive roster of collaborators, there could have been even more fire power on the record.

Solange recent sat down for an extensive interview as part of her cover story in Harper’s Bazaar. She discussed a variety of subjects and one surprising note was one of the rare regrets in her career. “I was supposed to work with Katt Williams on A Seat at the Table. I went to his show, went backstage to ask him. Honestly, I fumbled the ball. But he is singular,” she revealed. That came as a surprise to many following Williams appearance on Club Shay Shay last month where he made for one of the most interesting news stories of the year so far.

Solange Regrets Not Working With Katt Williams

The news about Katt Williams isn’t even the biggest revelation Solange made in her cover story. The first thing fans gravitated towards is the announcement that she was working on new music. But to the surprise of many she’s recently been focusing on composing music on the tuba. Many fans immediately thought of the same thing to compare it to. Last year, Andre 3000 released his long-awaited solo debut album. But it was a far cry from what fans expected, instead turning to the world of ambient jazz with long-form compositions where he predominately plays the flute.

What do you think of Solange potentially collaborating with Katt Williams on A Seat At The Table? Would you like to see what the crossover may have sounded like if they pulled it off? Let us know in the comment section below.

Nicki Minaj Wants An Unconventional Opener For Her ‘Pink Friday 2’ Tour: Comedian Katt Williams

Nicki Minaj is just weeks away from beginning her <Pink Friday 2 tour and while she had yet to announce openers as recently as last month, during a holiday live stream with fans this past weekend, Nicki proposed a fascinating opener: comedian Katt Williams.

On Instagram, Nicki made her case for having Williams on her tour. Noting that Katt’s “the busiest man in show business” (questionable), she asked her fans, “Can y’all hit up Katt Williams and ask him what would be his price … to be a part of the Pink Friday 2 Gag City Tour?”

While bringing a standup comic on a rap tour might seem unconventional, some parallels could make it a good idea. Like Nicki, Williams has experienced something of a resurgence due to a wave of attention from some controversial comments that have generated conflict with him among his peers. And he’s long been a hip-hop favorite, often having rappers as openers on his own tours and frequently using his connections with rappers as material for his standup.

It seems unlikely that Nicki will be able to secure Williams for her tour, as he is currently on his own tour which has dates across the US running concurrently with her own. Unfortunately for her, it doesn’t look like Katt will be moving to Ga City for the foreseeable future.

Nicki Minaj’s “Pink Friday 2” Tour May Add Katt Williams To Its Lineup

After a chaotic 2023, many were hoping that 2024 would begin on a calm, cool, and collected note. However, the energy has been anything but that since January, especially in the world of celebrity antics. Things kicked off with Katt Williams’ appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast, where he addressed issues he’s seeing unfold far beyond the world of comedy as only he can. The entertainer’s candid interview quickly blew up online, making him one of the industry’s most sought-after comedians at this time. Williams is currently touring his act across the country and even brought Mo’Nique out to help him for recent performances. As it turns out, Nicki Minaj is also burning to work with the 52-year-old.

Earlier this week, the Queen of Rap went Live on Instagram to put out a request for the booked and busy comedian. “I know that this is the busiest man in show business, ok?” Minaj assured her viewers. “I know that he’s rich, and I know that he’s the funniest man in showbiz. Can y’all hit up Katt Williams and ask him what would be his price… To be a part of the Pink Friday 2 Gag City Tour?”

According to Vibe, the mother of one’s rep, she’s serious about working with Williams and is willing to pay him what he’s worth. We’ve already seen the choreography that Minaj’s team has been perfecting for weeks now, though we’re curious to see how a comedy act will fit into her performance plans.

As Nicki Minaj waits to find out if Katt Williams is down to join her in Gag City this spring, her other accompanying acts are busy preparing their parts of the show too. Among them is 43-year-old Monica, who’s currently facing accusations of getting a BBL but not telling her fans after a recent performance in Atlanta. Shannon Sharpe Calls Out Comedians Recycling “Gay” Jokes

It’s no surprise that since Katt Williams’ viral Club Shay Shay interview, various comedians have taken aim at Shannon Sharpe. Recently, for example, Eddie Griffin made fun of Sharpe’s podcast by calling it Club Gay Gay during a set. “Me and Katt [are] the last two that ain’t wore a dress, n***a. I called that n**ga… and said, ‘N***a, let’s do the ‘Non-Wearing A Dress Tour.’ That s**t’ll be hot like a motherf*cker,’” he added. The joke did manage to get a few laughs, however, it’s far from the first time Sharpe’s been accused of being gay.

This was something Sharpe was sure to point out on Nightcap recently. According to him, people are simply talking about him because he’s the “hot thing” right now. He explained that while people continue to “use the same joke” over and over again, he refuses to let it get to him, because he knows who he is.

Shannon Sharpe Discusses “Gay” Jokes On Nightcap

“They’re using the same joke,” he described. “But at some point in time, it’s gonna get old and people are gonna get tired of y’all saying that ‘Shannon’s gay and Shannon this… You’re going to have to get back to telling jokes.”

Griffin isn’t the only one to talk about Sharpe as of late, however. Recently, Rich Dollaz weighed in on the personality, which resulted in a pretty awkward encounter later. According to him, he ran into Sharpe at the gym after the fact and hoped he didn’t realize it was him because he didn’t “want no smoke” with him.
