Kanye West Unbanned On Twitter, FBI Might Probe His Presidential Campaign

One of the most persistent and unchanging aspects of Kanye West’s past few years was his ban on Twitter for controversial statements. However, it seems that Elon Musk’s “X” rebrand also came with some user changes and reinstatements. Moreover, the platform unbanned the Chicago artist’s account, though it’s unclear if he will use it at all. Of course, it shouldn’t be too surprising to see Ye rant and ramble about whatever pops into his head again. Still, recent reports of a potential FBI probe into his presidential campaign might compel him to hold his tongue.

Furthermore, Radar Online reportedly spoke to Kanye West’s 2024 campaign committee treasurer Devin White and attorney Bruce Fein. During their talk, they alleged that the Federal Bureau of Investigation might look into Milo Yiannopoulos, the Yeezy mogul’s on-and-off-again campaign manager. The right-wing pundit is a U.S. resident alien on O-1 visa status, and this forbids him from formally working on a campaign.

“Commission regulations prohibit foreign nationals from directing, dictating, controlling, or directly or indirectly participating in the decision-making process of any person (such as a corporation, labor organization, political committee, or political organization) with regard to any election-related activities,” the Federal Electoral Commission states. “This prohibition includes advances of personal funds, contributions or donations made to political party committees and organizations, state or local party committees for the purchase or construction of an office building funds under 11 CFR 300.35, and contributions or disbursements to make electioneering communications. Foreign nationals are also prohibited from, directly or indirectly, donating to an inaugural committee; and it is a violation of federal law to knowingly accept such donations from a foreign national.” What’s more is that this could spell out deep trouble for Kanye West, which Fein and White claim to have warned him of.

“He’s a foreign national,” Fein told the outlet. “You cannot take any services from a foreign national. It’s a criminal violation, not civil- a criminal violation! It’s a felony, it’s not a minor offense. Model Claims Her & Kanye West Spent The Night, Recalls The Meeting Years Ago

As if there wasn’t enough Kanye West gossip to go around already, now there are new claims from the past. Moreover, an Australian model recently called in to The Will & Woody Show on KIIS FM this week to claim that she slept with the Chicago artist some time ago. In fact, this was allegedly years before his relationship with Kim Kardashian, and the model (named Lily) said that it was while he toured with Nas Down Under. Furthermore, Lily maintained that she met Ye at a club as she was on a date with another man, but that she ended up leaving with the Yeezy mogul. Apparently, the two got “naked” before falling asleep in his hotel room, and the alleged meeting presumably took place in Melbourne.

To elaborate, Lily is now 37, and she stated that she must’ve been in her twenties at the time of this rumored fling. Regardless, despite Kanye West leaving her with his number and a proposition to tour with him around Australia, it seems like that was the only night they ever interacted according to Lily’s story. “He had the reputation of being a real a**hole, but he was actually lovely,” she remarked. “So sweet, sang Love Lockdown to me acapella. It was beautiful.”

However, that wasn’t all that she spilled the tea on, as she alleged that Kanye West boasts something “long, skinny, [and] like a ruler.” “Imagine a ruler you use at school. So long and skinny so not very nice. The girls will know what I’m talking about,” Lily claimed. “We all went to the Park Hyatt where they must’ve been staying. Everyone kind of just went off to their rooms and it was just Kanye and I. We were chilling, having a conversation on the bed and then he fell asleep on me. He was trying to get on with it, but I think I was in two minds still because I was living with the guy that I was on a date with because we were roommates and then we started dating.”

Kanye West’s 2024 Campaign Reportedly Received Zero Donations In Recent Weeks

It’s been a turbulent back and forth battle concerning whether Kanye West’s presidential campaign for 2024 is even happening. However, the most recent report to come out concerning it certainly doesn’t suggest any good news. Moreover, Radar Online reportedly obtained copies of the Federal Electoral Commission’s (FEC) filings on the campaign on Monday (July 17). These documents suggest that not a single person has donated a single penny to it within the past few weeks. As such, hope for the run vanished, yet people wondered how much Ye even cared about in it in the first place.

Furthermore, on April 1 of this year, apparently the campaign had around $125,000 to spare concerning expenses. After paying consultants and additional employees around $101,000 in total, Kanye West’s efforts didn’t have much money to spare by June 30. While the run doesn’t have any outstanding debts indicated by these reports, this means that the campaign apparently had just about $23,000 upon June’s end. In addition, the Chicago artist claimed he blew over $2 million in bills, but only garnered close to $455,000 in donations since his 2024 strategy’s inception.

Back in April, he allegedly told a documentary filmmaker he hired to document the campaign that he wanted to scrap it. “Right now, I am living my life- like I’m concentrating on the school, the Donda Academy, and my new wife, and my kids, and that’s it,” Kanye West apparently told Adam Camacho. “I just want to be left alone.” What’s more is that this turbulent campaign garnered assistance from controversial right-wing figures that hopped on-board, jumped off, and kept teetering on that edge. It’s been almost a year since Kanye West’s controversial comments landed him in hot water once again. This time, though, amid brand deals splintering and particularly concerning comments and behavior, no one knew when he would try to make his musical comeback. Now, we have some rumors based on alleged collaborators that said day is soon to come. Moreover, Rooga recently appeared on the No Jumper podcast and claimed that Ye is putting together a new album in Japan, where his wife Bianca Censori is also staying with him. While the host, Adam 22, tried to get more details out of the Chicago rhymer, all he said was that “he’s working on an album.”

Of course, given the Yeezy mogul’s track record when it comes to released music, any news of a Kanye West record on the way is bound to make huge waves. Still, the most interesting thing that a new project will demonstrate, maybe, is how much his controversies bleed into it. After all, following his 2009 disruption at the MTV VMAs, reflections on fame, narrative, and being “the bad guy” fueled My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. With rampant antisemitism and his messy divorce from Kim Kardashian in mind, this could make for either a retribution or a disappointing double-down for the 46-year-old.

Regardless, that’s all just speculation and assumptions at the end of the day, beyond what Rooga expressed. While Kanye West has plenty of amazing albums, he also gained notoriety for the string of albums that he teased, previewed, or announced, but never released. Many fans out there probably won’t believe it ’til they see it, especially with his public context in mind. Kanye West has a whole treasure trove of leaks, with an unreleased catalog perhaps more legendary than any other artist. Even though we’ve been listening to hidden Yeezy tracks for years, it’s remarkable how they keep propping up. Moreover, a new track titled “Not The Same” resurfaced online, and it’s apparently from the Chicago artist’s circa 2011 era. However, there are an astonishing number of asterisks attached to this leak, disregarding the massive asterisk that is Kanye’s current state. Regardless of the song’s history, it’s still refreshing to see him in this zone after over a decade of evolution way beyond this.

For example, the track apparently surfaced after a user on the popular forum KanyeToThe purchased the track. Not only that, but the seller apparently got it from an “industry insider” according to HipHopDX, and this all happened back in 2014. As such, there are some interesting things about this song that call its origin into question. One of them is the fact that the Kanye West leak that made its way onto the Internet features an Honorable C.N.O.T.E. tag.

Though this is an eyebrow-raising part of the song, he’s been producing for at least over 15 years with big artists. Bogus Boys, specifically a track from the disbanded group’s canceled 2011 project.

Meanwhile, the song’s production ended up being the most contested part of the song. Apparently, Mike Dean himself responded to the leak on KanyeToThe and dismissed claims that anyone competent produced it. “U think we would make something so bad production wise?? get real,” he allegedly wrote. Specifically, on the track “Stressed,” Conway’s remarks on alcoholism and his use of it as a coping mechanism struck a chord with the Chicago artist.

“That third verse, I talk about how I was on that bottle, I’m sipping, I’m getting nice everyday and shit,” Conway The Machine expressed on the program. “I’m just giving my perspective of what I’m dealing with with that. “If it’s something concerning my kids’ dad and I’m upset, I try not to show as much emotion,” she said. “I have to be ready to explain why I’m upset and it might not be appropriate for them to know. There’s nothing worse than ‘You’ll understand when you’re older.’ I don’t want to be that person.”

Kardashian also spoke about how if it she is upset about something her kids can understand, she will let it show. “On Christmas morning, I cried when my mom gave me a doll house. My kids didn’t understand why, and I explained I had that at my dad’s house as a little girl.”

Recently, Kim Kardashian revealed she doesn’t let her kids keep up with news about their dad, Kanye West. The mom of four shares North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm West with her ex-husband and takes all precautions to shield them from stories related to their father.

“When stuff is said, it’s a chain to my whole household, no TV, only Apple TV,” Kim revealed to her mom, Kris Jenner, during Thursday’s episode of The Kardashians. “I can’t risk Access Hollywood coming up next or anything on the news coming up with their dad mentioned and they want to watch,” Kim continued. “I have to figure out a way to, like, protect. And so they still haven’t seen anything, but I go into crisis mode.”

During this week’s episode of The Kardashians, which aired on June 1, Kim recalled that when she was married to Kanye, and he would make negative headlines, she would run around calling people behind his back, telling them, “It’s gonna be OK. It’s gonna be OK. Don’t worry. Just give him another chance.” Kim revealed that she used to “spend hours and hours and hours” of her days as “the clean up crew.” “That’s why you got divorced because you can’t do that to yourself,” Kris told her daughter.
During her confessional, Kim admitted, “It’s like the hardest feeling to watch someone you really loved and you have a family with just be so different than who you knew.”

BUSINESS IS BUSINESS is already one of the more hyped-up album releases of the year so far, and recent posts from Young Thug on social media hint that the album rollout’s not over yet. Moreover, he took to Instagram to ask Kanye West to “answer the f***ing phone, it’s business.” In addition, on Twitter, he made the same call to action despite the Chicago rapper’s absence on the platform. “Kanye doesn’t have a Twitter but somehow he’ll see this Tweet,” Thug tweeted, fueling further hype around a single from these two. Not only that, but some believe this may be for a deluxe version of the album, which certainly has a lot of potential.

Sure, you might be one of the people that thinks BUSINESS IS BUSINESS was not as good as people wanted it to be. Also, Kanye West is understandably not the most sought-after artist right now, at least when it comes to fans taking issue with his antics as of late. All that said, there’s no denying that it’s still exciting to think of what these two could cook up- or rather, what they recorded prior to Young Thug’s arrest that might see the light of day. Their repertoire includes “Highlights” from The Life Of Pablo, “Remote Control” on Donda, and the excellent (although still unreleased) leak “Bad Night.”

Of course, this is far from the first time Thugger’s shouted out the Yeezy creative in any capacity. Not only are there lyrical mentions (the most recent one appearing on “Wit Da Racks” on BUSINESS IS BUSINESS), but he has a whole song named after him on JEFFERY. While this has a lot of potential, it’s also unclear whether a previous collab would release or if Ye would add a verse or production to a Young Thug demo and rework it. Regardless, it’s the only feature the Atlanta trap legend asked for so far on social media, so a whole deluxe album might not even be in the cards.

Kanye West’s Response To Donda Academy Teachers’ Lawsuit

From April to June of this year, three former teachers at Donda Academy sued Kanye West on various grounds. First, two fired educators, and Black women, claimed that they were let go due to racial bias and called the institution “dystopian” and designed to please the artist’s “idiosyncrasies.” Moreover, the lawsuit also came against the school as a whole and three directors of it. In addition, they claimed that the firing came after they reported health code, education, and safety violations at the academy. Even though they raised issues to directors, Chekarey Byers and Cecilia Haley claim, they did nothing to resolve these issues.

Also, they alleged that teachers and students were barred from sitting in chairs, that students were forced to wear black head-to-toe, and based from wearing Nike or Adidas products. According to their suit, students could not leave the premises until the school day was completely over. “Throughout the entirety of Plaintiffs’ employment, the only lunch available for students was sushi, every single day,” the suit read. “Students were not allowed to bring any outside food or anything other than water. It was widely known that Defendant West spends $10,000 a week on sushi.” Another lawsuit from teacher Timanii Meeks claims that the school fired her after reporting that the school was unsafe.

Furthermore, Kanye West denied all allegations and accused wrongdoing, and wants to see the case dismissed. “The truth is, Ye has nothing to do with Donda’s policies, practices, and procedures relating to employee pay and wage statements,” court documents state. “Surely, Plaintiffs know that. But- as unfortunately is commonly the case for Ye, a famous artist and businessperson- in the present action, Plaintiffs have haphazardly tossed a meritless and barebones guilt-by-association theory into their complaint to garner press attention and the resulting settlement pressure that comes with it.

However, during an seemingly recent outing in Tokyo, it looks like he had fun chopping it up with a fan who saw him. Moreover, an artist by the name of KIZUKIOTANI posted a couple of pictures with the Chicago MC on Instagram, posing together and putting on some smiles. What’s more is that the fan was apparently ready for the occasion, as he had a JESUS IS KING shirt on.

Furthermore, other posts on his IG page also show him rocking Ye’s merch or wearing similar styles. Overall, whether it was planned or random, it seemed like quite the lucky and surreal moment. Given that he is also an artist, perhaps they were able to link up beyond just a quick conversation. However, a lot of fans were just happy to see Kanye West smile with someone despite all the drama.
