“New Body” is one of the most beloved Yandhi-era leaks from Kanye West, both for its hypnotic beat and its topical focus… for better or worse. In addition, it also features a great verse from Nicki Minaj, which only made it all the more disappointing when the track appeared to stay in limbo. However, hype emerged once again when Ye and Ty Dolla $ign announced that the track would be on their upcoming collab album Vultures. In fact, they even played it at their Miami “rave” listening event, with Queen Barb’s verse and all. As such, it seemed like we would finally get this song officially in our hands.

But alas, when Friday, December 15th rolled around with no Vultures in sight, and Kanye West posted a screenshot of him asking Nicki Minaj to clear “New Body,” we went back to a disappointed state. Later, she addressed his request during an Instagram Live sessions, saying that “that train has left the station.” In other words, the 41-year-old expressed qualms about releasing a song that’s over three years old at this point. While that’s certainly a valid argument from an artistic standpoint, a lot of fans still expressed sadness that the track is once again in jeopardy.

What’s more is that Kanye West responded to Nicki Minaj’s comments during his absurdly combative rant against Jay-Z, Drake, and so many more. This was at his Las Vegas listening party for Vultures. While addressing her refusal to clear the sample, the Chicago artist claimed that he made her rewrite her iconic verse on “Monster” three times. “I supported her career,” he said of the “Last Time I Saw You” hitmaker. Most importantly, the 46-year-old seemed to hammer on the point that they’re still going to fight to put “New Body” out one way or another.

Meanwhile, that listening event was somehow more chaotic than the first, and we’re sure the ride’s far from over. Well, given the rant that Kanye West went on at his listening party for his Vultures album with Ty Dolla $ign in Vegas last night (Thursday, December 14), maybe the album isn’t coming out after all. Moreover, he blasted a whole cavalcade of people and entities in a lengthy 10-minute rant, which ended with him remarking that everyone in the room with him in that moment was fake. Eventually, the Chicago rapper kicked YesJulz out, who was the one streaming this whole thing, after going off on Jay-Z, Drake, Adidas, and so many more for not supporting him for the past year. It seems like this moment is the culmination of his antisemitic reclusion that began a year ago.

Furthermore, Kanye called out “Jewish n***as” who call his rants “episodes.” “Y’all ain’t stop that Adidas s**t,” he said during one point of his rant. “Y’all n***as let Adidas crash the richest n***a of all time. I put up one tweet. Then, Ari Emanuel put, ‘Oh, we gotta drop this n***a,’ and all n***as just watched. The only n***a that had the Trump hat. The only n***a that went and got them billions, the only n***a that break through all kinds of ideas in fashion. I’ve been called a f***ot so many times for tight jeans. I got n***as from Chicago that I take care of that still try to sell me. Who you think the old man call? When we put Drake on stage, who you think the old man call? You know what I’m saying?

Kanye West Accused By Another Lawyer Of Ghosting Him

Kanye West is unsurprisingly dealing with a million different things at once by only focusing on one at a time. Moreover, he’s probably thinking a lot about his Ty Dolla $ign collab album Vultures, which is supposed to drop tonight at press time… but you never know with Ye, do you? Regardless, the Chicago rapper stands accused of ignoring plenty of other action items, including responding to lawsuits on behalf of companies and entities that want to hold him accountable. The latest of these is from Scott Spivey, an attorney for Trax Records that asked a Louisiana judge to approve of other means of serving him with a lawsuit on Monday (December 11), according to court documents reportedly obtained by AllHipHop.

“The necessity for this motion arises from the fact that counsel for Ye has been notified. But [he] refuses to provide an address for his client,” the lawyer expressed in the legal filing. “Additionally, Defendant Ye is constantly traveling around the world, making conventional service of process impossible. This motion is crucial to uphold due process and ensure Defendant Ye is duly notified of the ongoing legal proceedings.” This lawsuit from Trax is over a Marshall Jefferson sample– the track “Move Your Body”– in Kanye West’s 2022 Donda 2 cut “Flowers” that was allegedly used without permission.

Furthermore, Kanye West’s lawyer Greg Nelson claimed via email in June of this year that the California home that Spivey tried to serve him papers at in December of 2022 is no longer where he stays. When asked a month later in July whether he would accept the attorney’s service or indicate how to present the papers to the 46-year-old, Nelson allegedly said that his client is in Japan. He didn’t have an address for him and claimed to have no authorization to waive service. Therefore, Trax Records requested alternative service for “essentially… an international defendant” and await the judge’s decision.

“Considering the unique challenges presented by Defendant Ye’s circumstances, the following alternative service methods are proposed,” the motion read. “Service by Publication. Publish notice of the legal proceedings in reputable international newspapers. [Also,] online platforms that are likely to be accessed by Defendant Ye. Service by Mail. Send copies of the summons and complaint via international certified mail to any known addresses associated with Defendant Ye. Service through a Designated Agent. Utilize a legal representative as a designated agent to deliver the necessary documents to Defendant Ye. Each method has its advantages and potential drawbacks. Kanye West’s New Album Gets DeRay Davis’ Praise Almost 20 Years After Their Collabs

While the fate of Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s new collab album Vultures is unclear, we’ve at least heard what they want to include on it. Moreover, they recently hosted a listening party in Miami for it that was unsurprisingly late, star-studded, controversial, and showed great potential in some tracks… but without a lot of polish. Still, none of these are issues for Ye’s former collaborator, actor and comedian DeRay Davis. TMZ recently caught up with him at the LAX airport, and they asked him what he thought of the show, which he was returning from.

Furthermore, Davis remarked that Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign came through with a great project– at least, what they played during this latest “rave.” He said that his experience wasn’t like what many folks saw online, as he was much closer than many videos of it. For example, the actor posited that the black KKK hood that the Chicago rapper wore looked more like an executioner’s mask than anything else. If you thought that was the only thing he would say on his antics… then we have some bad news for you.

In addition, DeRay Davis expressed his belief that folks are making too big of a deal about Kanye West’s “Jewish b***h” bar on the album’s title track. According to him, the other songs and guest performances are too good to focus on just one bad line. Davis also identified Vultures as somewhere between “the old Kanye” with some 808s & Heartbreak thrown in there, and had heavy praise for Kodak Black, Ty Dolla $ign, and North West’s guest verses– particularly North’s surprise addition.

For those unaware, Davis worked with Kanye in the past as the voice on many of his skits on The College Dropout and Late Registration. His impression of the Chi’s own Bernie Mac and his leadership of Broke Phi Broke are among many iconic moments on these classic records. As such, this support is by no means surprising, but also ironic considering that said moments are so far removed from this album’s identity… and quality. Kanye West’s style choices continue to cause an uproar, even if in this case, it’s just because of how uncomfortable it looks. Moreover, he was recently spotted in Miami, specifically the night club E11EVEN, early Sunday morning (December 10) at around 2:30AM to participate in the closing Art Basel Miami Beach celebrations. When the Yeezy mogul arrived with his crew, he pulled up with socks– no shoes– to the function, and seemed to blend in with everyone else. Given that he wore a white scarf around his head and went by pretty unnoticed at a back VIP table, it’s clear that, just like for most of the year, he didn’t really want to be seen. The Chicago rapper and his companions were there for less than an hour.

Furthermore, there actually might be an interesting reason for this short stay, according to an alleged Page Six insider. They posited that Bianca Censori only let Kanye West go out for a certain amount of time, which is a curious claim about their dynamic. If you didn’t know, the two faced breakup rumors last month, but it seems they sidestepped all of that. Their relationship has been a rollercoaster to witness, but hopefully things are more stable than they seem just based off scandalous headlines.

However, we can’t forget about another important reason as to why Kanye West is in Miami. Apparently, he and Ty Dolla $ign are throwing a listening party in the city for their new album on Tuesday (December 12) at midnight. Of course, we say “apparently” because various other attempts to perform or play this project fell through. It seems closer than ever, but considering all of Ye’s public controversies and concerning attitudes, it’s still anyone’s guess.

Meanwhile, he also teased some new music recently, so perhaps the collaborative LP is really around the corner. But this is far from the first time that we’ve heard this from the 46-year-old. Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s collab album is apparently still in the works despite multiple delays, cancellations, pulled concerts, and more antics. Moreover, apparently the two are hosting a listening party referred to as a “VULTURES RAVE” in Sawgreen Mills in the Miami area, as the shopping center is in Sunrise, Florida. Per social media posts from the singer, it will take place on Tuesday (December 12) at 12AM midnight. As such, it seems like each artist is also taking steps to make sure everyone who they want there will be there. For Ye, that includes a familiar face who he executive-produced an album for three years ago.

Furthermore, Playboi Carti continued his hot streak of social media activity recently by sharing a DM from him. “It’s ye checking in family,” Kanye’s message reads, according to his Whole Lotta Red collaborator’s recent Instagram Story post. “Got your number from wheezy.” Then, he included a screenshot of Ty Dolla $ign’s announcement of this “rave,” which is most likely just a listening party. However, it’s still quite likely that this is just a ruse to put together some other shindig or party, as we don’t know the explicit details of it.

Not only that, but this also brings two album rollouts together, something which only became possible for Kanye West and Playboi Carti this week. For those unaware, the latter fully kicked off his I AM MUSIC campaign, hyping fans up with snippets and a lot of social media interactions with other stars and potential collaborators. As such, it’s no surprise that the Atlanta rage exponent couldn’t help but share the good news from the Chicago rapper. Does this mean that we’ll get both projects at around the same time?

Regardless, this is their latest international adventure on Ye’s path of reclusion, possible new music, and dealing with he firestorm of his controversies.

Furthermore, this is something that allegedly caused the couple to go on a break just about a week ago. While things seemingly patched up since then, it also came amid reported rumors that Bianca Censori’s friends staged an intervention concerning her relationship with Kanye West when she recently went to her native Australia by herself. It’s been a rough road up until this point, with canceled shows, pushed-back release dates, a search for a distributor, and very little remorse for his past comments that make fans less excited for new music. Amid all this, the Chicago rapper’s relationship with Bianca Censori has been relatively stable up until recently, when these rumors of a break swirled.
