Is Adidas Still Selling Kanye West’s Yeezy Sneakers?

Kanye West had a good run with his Adidas partnership, but that ended up crumbling thanks to West’s antisemitic comments and Adidas not being interested in having their brand attached to that sort of thing. But, Adidas x Yeezy isn’t quite finished yet.

Is Adidas Still Selling Kanye West’s Yeezy Sneakers?

They sure are.

Last May, it was revealed that Adidas had decided to sell off their remaining Yeezy stock after terminating their partnership with West. Adidas CEO Bjorn Gulden said at the time, “What we are trying to do now over time is sell parts of this inventory and donate money to the organizations that are helping us and that were also hurt by Kanye’s statements.”

That decision ended up paying off financially: That August, it was reported the company had brought in nearly half a billion dollars from the Yeezy inventory.

Then, today (February 26), the company announced additional releases of existing Yeezy products. West didn’t take this news well, writing on Instagram, “Anybody who loves Ye would not buy these fake Yeezys. I never made these colorways. I’m not getting paid off of them and adidas is suing me. All these celebrities and the public will stand against a T-shirt or the color of my hat but when yall see me have my children hidden from me or see an actual Fortune 500 company rape one of your heroes in real life don’t nobody say nothing or do nothing. As far as the system goes What yall gone do now? Take my album down again? Freeze my accounts again? Threaten people to not work with me again? All the new non approved 350’s are cooorny.”

Kanye West Unveils Super Bowl Commercial For Yeezy: Watch

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s Vultures just came out, and it looks like this isn’t where the rollout will stop. Moreover, the former just unveiled a new Super Bowl commercial for Yeezy (here’s a Twitter link if he deletes it later), featuring a woman running on a treadmill as the Freddie Gibbs-assisted album cut “Back to Me” plays in the background. It’s a very simple and minimalist ad that we doubt will actually air during the game, given all of Ye’s controversies and issues with big brands as of late. Still, this is the same person that was able to host listening parties in big cities and big arenas, so maybe there’s a good chance that he’ll actually get a spot on national television.

Furthermore, this is contributing to the immense hype and excitement for Vultures finally dropping this weekend… for Apple Music users. Spotify still doesn’t have it, and as of writing this article, even Apple seemingly took it down, so how long Kanye West’s release will last is up in the air. Regardless, this commercial also highlights one of the most beloved aspects of this album so far in fans’ eyes: Freddie Gibbs’ feature verse. It’s probably the most universally praised part of this whole thing, in addition to other features and the production.

Kanye West’s Yeezy Super Bowl Ad: Watch

In fact, folks are talking about pretty much anything Kanye West did with this album except for the lyrics, which is normal because they’re hard to catch cohesively on first listens. It’s also because all of the drama surrounding this drop, and how folks are more interested in him making music than taking a stance on backlash. Alas, the Chicago artist still peppers his art with brash reminders of his views. The worst part is that the bars aren’t of a high enough quality to look past these leanings.

Meanwhile, do you think that this Super Bowl ad will actually hit households this Sunday? How does “Back to Me” compare to other cuts on Vultures like “Fuk Sumn“? Let us know your thoughts on all of this down in the comments section below. Also, stay posted on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Kanye West.

Kanye West Flaunts Bianca Censori In Her Underwear, Promises “No Pants” In 2024

Kanye West fans have to be used to pretty strange social media posts by now. The rapper has long been known to take out his frustrations online but occasionally he also just makes silly and confusing posts. That was the case today when he took to Instagram with a new picture of Bianca Censori. In the picture, she’s pretty scantily clad sporting a furry top, underwear, and heels. Most importantly, as West himself points out in the caption, she isn’t wearing any pants.

“No pants this year” the text attached to the post reads. It’s hard to imagine West going all year without wearing any pants but in combination with the picture he seems to mean it literally. In the comments, fans have a variety of reactions to his post. “I think I’m gonna keep wearing pants to be honest,” one fan hilariously replies. Many other fans talk about how little of West’s creative output comes through music anymore. “release the damn album bruh,” another highly upvoted comment reads. Check out the strange new Instagram post below.

Kanye West’s Bizarre New Instagram Post Calls For No Pants

Fans calling for new music have a pretty good reason to feel entitled to something. Last month, Kanye West announced a new collaborative album with Ty Dolla $ign called Vultures. Two of the album’s release dates have already passed by as it continues to get delayed. Additionally a version of the album leaked online a few weeks ago, which may have something to do with the reasons it hasn’t been officially released yet.

The pair at least appear to still be intent on releasing the album. They recently got matching Vultures tattoos in advance of the newest reported release date. Fans are hoping the album actually drops on its most recently announced release date January 12. What do you think of Kanye West’s new Instagram post calling for no pants this year? Do you think he will stick with his no-pants promise? Let us know in the comment section below.

YE Reportedly Files Trademark To Open YZYSPLY Retail Store

Kanye West

It looks like Kanye is taking another step forward in his conquest to dominate the fashion industry.

According to TMZ, YE and his team filed to trademark the name “YZYSPLY” for retail stores, online ordering services, and online retail store services. Ye currently uses the name “Yeezy Supply” for the online shop where his sneakers release. However, with this new move, the retail stores would be stocked with shirts, socks, hats, visors, G-strings, tennis wear, headwear and footwear.

In 2020, Kanye signed a 10-year partnership with GAP, with the first round of clothes having dropped in late last year. Earlier this year it was announced that YZY GAP had signed a partnership with Balenciaga for a line of ready to wear clothing as well.

In his 2015 interview with Vanity Fair, Ye spoke on how having his own store was his lifelong dream.

“I’ve already embraced the moment of when I finally get to have my own store, which was always a dream of mine,” Ye said. “So even though we do really amazing sales online, my dream is just to have my own store. And to have multiples of it.”

Where do you think the first location of the storefront will be?
