Travis Scott & Kanye West Reunited During His ‘Circus Maximus’ Concert In Italy For A Performance Of ‘Praise God’

On July 26, Travis Scott’s Egyptian fans were upset to learn that Live Nation pulled the plug on a concert scheduled to take place at the Pyramids Of Giza due to logistical issues. However, that didn’t stop Scott from putting on his Circus Maximus concert on Monday, August 7, in Rome, Italy. Ahead of his Utopia Tour, Scott treated supporters to a taste of what’s to come from the upcoming stadium run.

During the elaborate show, Scott reunited with his longtime friend and frequent collaborator Kanye West to perform their song, “Praise God,” featuring Baby Keem. In a video clip posted by XXL, the pair feed off of each other energy as they rap their respective parts of the track, which was featured on West’s 2021 album Donda.

The surprise appearance from West shocked fans as it marked his first live performance since the string of anti-Semitic remarks he made late last year. Scott took a moment to acknowledge West’s impact on his work, seeming to confirm fans’ theory that his latest album, Utopia, was inspired by West’s 2013 album Yeezus. “There is no Utopia without Kanye West,” he told the crowd. “There is no Travis Scott without Kanye West. There is no Rome without Kanye West. Make some noise for Ye.”.

Scott’s commentary could also be a subtle response to fellow rapper Asap Rocky’s recent diss at Rolling Loud Miami on July 23. In a song snippet, Rocky claimed someone stole his flow, which people online believed was a reference to Scott.

Bianca Censori & Kanye West Wear Monochrome Looks In Rome Before Travis Scott Concert

During their marriage, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were perhaps best known for two things – their four adorable children, and their often avant-garde fashion moments. Now, the rapper has moved on to a new bride, Bianca Censori. He’s notably been able to experiment with styling her in even more outlandish ways. Throughout the first week of August, we’ve seen them enjoying each other’s company in beautiful Italy. While the Australian has left little to the imagination in plenty of sheer garments, her husband’s feet have been hitting the pavement sans his usual sock shoes.

It seems that Ye and Censori aren’t in Europe just to show off their obscure outfits. Rather, the Yeezy founder joined Travis Scott on stage at his first-ever live performance of his new UTOPIA album earlier today (August 7). Beforehand, he and his architect wife were photographed by the paparazzi. They packed on plenty of bootylicious PDA while hanging out in monochromatic styles before the concert.

Photos that can be found here show Bianca Censori once again flaunting her hourglass figure in an all-white ensemble. She wore beige tights over her short brown hair and layered white pantyhose over a tank top in the same colour to perfectly sculpt her body. The foreign beauty often wears ultra-pointy heels with her fashion statements, and today was no exception. As for West, he maintained more modesty in an oversized black button-up and pants.

At one point, cameras caught the 46-year-old changing his shirt while standing near a van, seemingly slipping into a fresh black tee before surprising his “Piss On Your Grave” collaborator’s audience at Circus Maximus in Rome. If you’re wondering how you can stream Travis Scott’s UTOPIA concert at home, you can find more info at the link below. For more hip-hop/pop culture news updates, check back in with HNHH later.

Kanye West & Bianca Censori Abandon Footwear, Go Barefoot In Italy

Kanye West has been seen in public quite a bit as of late. He is typically seen right next to his new wife, Bianca Censori. These two have had quite a relationship so far and while they have only been together for a short while, they seem quite happy. Overall, she has stood by Kanye during his biggest scandals. The Anti-semitism arc from last year was quite shocking. However, Censori remains by his side, through thick and thin. In fact, they are currently vacationing in Italy where they have been photographed extensively.

This is an interesting time for Kanye to be in Europe. As it stands, Adidas is in the midst of a massive Yeezy restock that will likely bring him quite a bit of cash. Moreover, Travis Scott’s album Utopia has numerous Kanye leftovers on it. This has a lot of people up in arms, although others are just happy to have these songs on the record. Furthermore, Scott is going to perform at the Circus Maximus on Monday, and there is a belief that Kanye could be there.

During this trip to Italy, Kanye West and his wife were photographed with some interesting footwear. In fact, it is probably better to say they were photographed without footwear. Yes, that’s right, the man behind Yeezy has completely abandoned shoes. In images seen at the Via link below, Kanye and Censori can be seen roaming the streets of Italy barefoot. The streets aren’t exactly the cleanest place in the world, however, Ye doesn’t seem to mind.

Ye’s sneaker progression has led to less and less materials. Now, he isn’t wearing shoes at all. You can’t help but admire the vision, even if it isn’t super clean. Let us know what you think of this new style, in the comments section down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world.

Adidas Expects $491 Million Operating Loss Improvement After Yeezy Sales Boost

Kanye West

Adidas and Yeezy have seen a significant increase in sales, signaling a positive outlook for the sports company. The pushback in March 2023 proved to be a turning point for Yeezy, as they now expect to see a $491 million operating loss, a considerable improvement from the $764 million loss reported in March.  Adidas Anticipates […]

Adidas Brought In Nearly Half-A-Billion Dollars Selling The First Batch Of Post-Kanye Yeezys

With Kanye West no longer a part of Adidas’ corporate strategy, the company was left in the awkward position of sitting on a massive supply of unsold Yeezy product and no great options for getting rid of it. Obviously, selling off the back stock would put more royalties in the hands of West just after public sentiment had turned against him (with no guarantee the product would move after it hit shelves), but destroying the kicks would be a huge financial blow. Ultimately, Adidas decided to go with option A, and according to Rolling Stone, it seems like the choice paid off, to the tune of nearly half-a-billion bucks.

In late May, Adidas unvaulted about a quarter of its remaining Yeezy merchandise, and since then, brought in about $437 million. A portion of that profit will be donated to two charities: the Anti-Defamation League and the Philonise & Keeta Floyd Institute for Social Change to offset the harm Kanye’s 2022 media tour caused.

The Philonise & Keeta Floyd Institute is a nonprofit established by the brother of George Floyd; during an interview with Drink Champs, Kanye parroted a racist right-wing conspiracy theory that Floyd died from a fentanyl overdose rather than being suffocated by a police officer in put his knee on Floyd’s neck, despite his protests that he couldn’t breathe. Meanwhile, the Anti-Defamation League is a well-known civil rights organization working to reduce antisemitic harm — which Ye did plenty of over the past year.

Adidas CEO Bjørn Gulden said this option is “much better than destroying and writing off the inventory and allows us to make substantial donations.” The company did not say how much it donated, only that the amount had been discussed with recipients beforehand, and cited its “contractual obligations” with regard to whether Kanye will receive royalties (he will).

Kanye West Twitter Account Reinstated Under Elon Musk’s X

Kanye West’s Twitter/X Account Has Been Reinstated, But He Allegedly Had To Make A Few Promises Beforehand

The rebranding of X, formerly known as Twitter, has seen the return of some who had left the platform, some by force. One of the most notable one is Kanye West, or Ye. His account was suspended in December 2022, but on Saturday, July 29, West’s Twitter account has been reinstated. However, according to WSJ, he had to make a few promises beforehand to make it so.

An anonymous source told the publication, “After receiving reassurance that he wouldn’t use the platform to share antisemitic or otherwise harmful language,” which was the reason behind his suspension back in December 2022. In a now-deleted post, West shared a photo of a Nazi swastika embedded inside the Star of David. Musk, who then served as the platform’s CEO, commented on the matter, saying West’s account was suspended for “incitement to violence,” violating the platform’s user terms.

Elsewhere in the platform’s report, West won’t be eligible to monetize his account. Advertisements won’t appear next to his posts either. That said, West’s verified status has at least been reinstated.

Kanye West Has Twitter Account Reinstated After 8-Month Suspension

Kanye West has been reinstated on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter), after a nearly eight-month suspension.

The musician and designer, who now goes by the name Ye, had his account reinstated Saturday. X told the Wall Street Journal that the account won’t be eligible for monetization, nor will advertisements appear next to posts.

Ye has yet to post on the social network since the account’s reinstatement.

Elon Musk, X’s owner, suspended Ye’s account last December after the musician shared an image combining the Star of David and a swastika, which was removed from the platform. At the time, Musk said Ye had breached a company rule against incitement to violence.

The account was reinstated after X received reassurance that Ye wouldn’t use the platform to share harmful language, the Wall Street Journal said, citing a source familiar with the matter.

Thoughts?

Travis Scott’s New Album ‘Utopia’ Is Drawing So Many Comparisons To Kanye West’s ‘Yeezus’

At long last, Travis Scott’s highly anticipated album Utopia is out. Since its midnight release, fans have been listening and evaluating, and a common conclusion many have come to is that Utopia is super reminiscent of Kanye West’s beloved 2013 album Yeezus. In fact, the Kanye album was actually a trending topic on Twitter this morning (July 28) due to the volume of Utopia comparisons.

One popular tweet reads, “Kanye dropped Yeezus in 2013 and we all praised for sounding futuristic… 10 years later, we’re seeing it’s influence loud and clear [goat emojis].” Another says, “The Yeezus influence on Utopia is insane,” and another user noted, “this lowkey like trav’s Yeezus.” Somebody else tweeted, “This post is starting to make sense ‘Yetopia’ Utopia is literally a sister album to YEEZUS the Kanye influence is ridiculous you would think Kanye produced the whole album Travis is really a Kanye Protégés.”

There are those who see Utopia as essentially Yeezus taken in a different direction. One Twitter user wrote, “Travis Scott took Yeezus and said ‘what if this was maximalist?’” Another said, “Utopia is Travis Scott doing experimental/vibes in the same sonic space as Yeezus.”

As some have noted, West did have some involvement with this album: He’s a producer and writer on “Thank God” and also co-wrote “God’s Country,” for example.

Check out some more reactions below.
