Kai Cenat fell victim to a troll while live-streaming a police chase in Los Angeles. During the stream, Cenat was contacted on Instagram by a man claiming to be the driver of the car. For a few minutes, Cenat and the man exchanged messages before the suspect was apprehended. However, internet sleuths have discovered that the man was a troll. The user who had contacted Cenat was seen livestreaming well after the suspect was apprehended.

However, for once it seems like Cenat got a taste of his own medicine. Late last year, Cenat committed to a weeks-long troll job in which he convinced several prominent content creators that he was buying them Birkin Bags. Instead, Cenat purchased knock-offs from Temu. This went as far as showing Rubi Rose the knock-off bag he had bought her and trying to convince her that the “prank” was that she thought it was Temu but was actually a legit Birkin.

Elsewhere, Cenat was recently taken aback when he learned that Kanye West‘s manager had threatened to fight him. John Monopoly had threatened to “link up” in Cenat’s hood with a “plus one”, casually saying that Cenat could “bring his whole team”. Kai Cenat may be the favorite streamer of many of rap’s biggest names like Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Killer Mike, but one hip-hop star is apparently less fond of the 22-year-old YouTuber.

Kanye West lashed out at Cenat after sending the streamer a pair of his YZY brand pants in the wrong size. Cenat demonstrated their poor fit during one of his streams, which incensed the multihyphenate musician-designer. Kanye shared a DM exchange via Instagram in which Ye told the younger entertainer, “Don’t make jokes about my clothes. When you ain’t saying nothing about what Adidas is doing. When “Vultures” song came out you ain’t play my verse. You controlled. Don’t play with me.”

As a quick reminder: What “Adidas is doing” is continuing to release its massive backstock of Yeezy apparel and footwear after Kanye’s antisemitic comments forced the company to end their endorsement deal prematurely, as is the company’s right (of all the things I’m angry at Kanye about, forcing me to defend a multibillion dollar athletics conglomerate is close to the top of the list). Oh, and they’re suing him for pretty much stealing the marketing budget for other Yeezy endeavors after terrorizing employees with his own sex tapes.

After this exchange, though, Kanye’s longtime manager John Monopoly threatened Kai, writing, “We good… But if we ever need to link up for a face to face I’ll meet him in HIS hood. Just me plus one.” Which seems like a really mature and professional way to do business, but this is the outfit that publicly announced firing an influencer of questionable utility while employing a known racist troll in a high-level position.

I am once again requesting a year-long moratorium on these people’s collective internet access, at least until we can confirm that children can read and write again and democracy is not going to topple off a cliff into a boiling sea. Panem et circenses, indeed.

Moreover, the Chicago artist and his team apparently sent the Bronx native a pack of free VULTURES merchandise, which he was very grateful for and appreciative of. However, he did point out that the sweatpants that they sent him were too large, albeit in quite the animated way. Then, it seems like, the “BURN” MC was not happy at all with this assessment.

During the stream Cenat hosted a sort of dating show built around finding a new girlfriend for a man whose ex went viral for dancing pretty sensually on stage with singer Omah Ley. The Top Dawg singer had some reactions to the stream and took to Twitter to share his thoughts. “@KaiCenat a real one. Got a n-gga a whole new B*tch on Twitch,” his tweet read. Though it’s since been deleted, it was up long enough for him to receive some backlash for it.

Some fans pointed out that SiR might be too old to be talking like that. Kai Cenat is one of the biggest streamers in the entire world right now. Overall, he just won streamer of the year at the Streamer Awards. At this point, there is no denying what Kai has done in his career. Although he is mostly found on Twitch, he is becoming a mainstream figure. For instance, this past weekend, he got to play in the Celebrity All-Star Game for NBA All-Star Weekend. Sure, he only scored four points, but he was still a huge presence all weekend. He even got hopped over by Jaylen Brown during the Dunk Contest.
