Joe Budden Calls Draya Michele A “Predator” As His Co-Host Defends Jalen Green Rumors

Joe Budden has become the latest person to call reality star Draya Michele a “predator” amid the rumors that the 39-year-old year might be expecting a child with 21-year-old NBA star Jalen Green. “We’ve seen so many NBA stars lose their career, and everything, because of women like this,” Budden said. He also went after co-host MeLyssa Ford, who didn’t appear to have an issue with the relationship. “We don’t have twenty minutes to explain something to you that is right there in front of you,” Budden said dismissively.

However, fans were not quite as on board with Budden’s comments. “He loud about this but said he didn’t wanna speak on Diddy in no shape or form Joe hush 😂,” noted one fan. “Y’all don’t have this energy for Marques Houston tho 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩,” added another. Furthermore, many people pointed to Budden’s own past a source of hypocrisy. “Wasn’t Cyn Santana only like 4 years older than Jalen when Joe dated and impregnated her at 39?” asked a third commenter. Elsewhere, Ford had made a cogent point about why Green doesn’t appear to get a say in who he dates.

What Is Going On With Draya Michele And Jalen Green?

Basketball Wives and Real Housewives alum Draya Michele is facing “predator” accusations after rumors that she was pregnant emerged online. Michele is reportedly dating young Rockets star Jalen Green. For many social media users, the age gap is unacceptable, especially given that Michele’s eldest child is around the same age as Green. However, at this time, both their relationship and Michele’s pregnancy are just rumors and speculation.

However, part of the outrage beyond the age gap is Green’s apparent immaturity. In early 2023, a video went viral showing Green roughhousing with former teammate Josh Christopher. The short clip showed Christopher pinned below Green with his legs spread in the air. Green, situated between Christopher’s legs, vigorously thrusted in a simulation of a sex act for a few seconds before rolling off Christopher. Both players are seen laughing as the video ends.

Joe Budden Believes Megan Thee Stallion Took Shots At Him On “HISS”

Megan Thee Stallion just lit the rap world on fire with her new single “HISS,” although a lot of that conversation owes itself to her beef with Nicki Minaj. That’s going to ramp up soon in a big way, but it wasn’t the only diss to another individual that her new single seemed to include. However, we’ve also seen a lot of other people in the culture connect themselves to this new song in unexpected ways. Unfortunately for these folks, some instances are a case of making mountains out of molehills; in other words, wrongly assuming that the Houston MC is speaking on them. Moreover, the latest person in the court of public opinion on this is Joe Budden, who theorized on his podcast that she sent shots at his cohorts.

“Like, I’ma give Meg a little more -– ’cause she dissed us on that s**t.” Joe Budden expressed. “Listen, I’ve been scraping my head all morning trying to figure out who been dancing to R. Kelly recently. And then it hit me like a bag of bricks. Well, my girl told me. That was us!” “Everybody was trying to figure it out,” Melyssa Ford exclaimed. “Alright, don’t quote me, but I think that she’s dissing us!” Budden concluded.

Megan Thee Stallion Shaded The Joe Budden Podcast, Co-Hosts Theorize: Watch

However, there’s a little more nuance than that. We don’t know specifically what this R. Kelly reference is about, and Joe Budden suggested that it was a specific shot at one of his co-hosts. Whether Megan Thee Stallion intended to shade anyone on this podcast or not, it’s definitely aimed at someone in the rap or media space. Still, it could just as easily be a shot at Tory Lanez, or any other of the more apparent disses on the record.

Meanwhile, this is ironic considering the Slaughterhouse rapper’s praise of Meg’s previous single, “Cobra.” “Meg, yo! I ain’t gon’ lie to you. You absolutely went cr*zy on this,” he remarked on his podcast. “A n***a hate on this, he hatin’. If you don’t like this, you hatin’.” For more news and the latest updates on Joe Budden and Megan Thee Stallion, stay posted on HNHH.

Lil Pump To Joe Budden: “[You’re] Worthless; Go Hit A Man, Not A [Woman]”

Lil Pump’s name never seems to be far from controversy. Currently, the 23-year-old is making waves in hip-hop news thanks to his comments about Joe Budden. The also-controversial podcaster’s name was mentioned in Pump’s Instagram Story on Tuesday (January 23), along with allegations of beating women and struggling with substance abuse. The receipts the young star brought to the table include a screenshot of Budden’s mugshot, as well as one of a Variety article from 2021 when content creator Olivia Dope accused him of sexual harassment.

“F**k Joe Budden, 43-year-old drug addict [woman beater],” he wrote earlier this morning with several typos. “[You’re] worthless,” Pump publicly told Budden, though he didn’t actually tag the New York native. “Go hit a man, not a [woman],” the former suggested before leaving a row of “😂😂😂😂😂” emojis above Budden’s solemn-looking police photo from nearly a decade ago. “It’s never okay to hit women, [you’re] a piece of s**t,” the “I Love It” hitmaker ended his rant. Now that the drama is making rounds on blogs, users are curious about what caused Pump to lash out so intensely.

“Lil Pump is an ardent [Donald] Trump supporter. I wonder why he hasn’t called Trump out over the sexual assault claims from E. Jean Carroll❓🤔 Selective outrage,” one person pointed out under @theneighborhoodtalk’s post. “He wants some attention from Joe on the podcast clearly…because where is this coming from?” another pondered. Elsewhere, someone else injected humour into the situation, writing, “Y’all don’t spell check before you hit post? Every day I scream reading these 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.”

Lil Pump’s wrath isn’t the only thing Joe Budden’s been faced with online this month. Just a few days ago, Ari Lennox let her followers know that she’s considering taking legal action against the rapper-turned-podcaster while dropping off some explosive allegations. Ari Lennox Threatens Joe Budden With Lawsuit In Explosive New Rant

Ari Lennox has had an eventful past few weeks. It all started right at the end of November when she was performing as the opening act for Rod Wave on his Nostalgia Tour. The performance seems to be going well enough until one of the fans in attendance throws something, later revealed to be a bottle, at Ari on stage. She claps back hard calling out the person who threw it and even threatening to fight them. The viral moment ended when her microphone was cut off and her performance ended early.

Fans responded to the post largely in support of Ari. Across 2023 there was a strange trend of fans throwing objects on stage at artists. While it was occasionally light-hearted, like when Drake had dozens of bras thrown at him on stage during his tour. But at other points, it was much more hostile even resulting in some injuries to performers. Ari took the situation in stride, hilarious donning a helmet during her next performance in reference to the incident. Then earlier this month, she reflected on her time touring with Rod Wave, which didn’t sit right with everyone.

Ari Lennox vs. Joe Budden

When Ari opened up on her time on tour she was pretty critical. She claimed that she never felt comfortable and raced through her sets because whenever she tried to affirm the crowd they would just get angry at her. But despite her vulnerable reflection on the tour, some still tried to critique her. Joe Budden in particular used his podcast as a vessel to claim that she should have just been happy to be included on such a big tour.

In a new video responding to his comments, Ari didn’t hold anything back. She not only claims that he has a $20k lawsuit headed his way but also claims that he’s obsessed with her and even joked that he “touches dogs.” What do you think of Ari Lennox’s response to Joe Budden’s critiques of her comments about touring with Rod Wave? Do you think she should follow through with suing him? Let us know in the comment section below.

Joe Budden Seemingly Reacts To Katt Williams & Kevin Hart Beef

Kevin Hart’s latest beef subject is Katt Williams, a new opponent who popped up following his lawsuit against Tasha K. Moreover, you’ve probably heard of Williams’ discussion-sparking interview with Shannon Sharpe on Club Shay Shay, on which he goes at a whole host of pop culture figures. One of those is Hart, who quickly had some words to say about the comedian’s attacks against him and his career. However, it seems like a lot of fans were a little disappointed with his clap-back, or that it wasn’t a very worthwhile effort. While Joe Budden by no means named this directly, many fans still interpreted that this is what he tweeted about on Saturday (January 6).

“Could’ve just not replied yaknow lol,” Joe Budden wrote on the social media platform of Kevin Hart’s response. “Gotta get that anger up outcha champ….It’s honestly sad,” he had tweeted. “In the meantime…. Please enjoy MY MOVIE TRAILER to my next film ‘LIFT’ which will be dropping on @netflix in 8 days!!!!! There is a moment in the trailer where @gugumbatharaw says “They Really Love You” ….I now know she’s talking about “Katt” [crying-laughing emojis]. Mark yo calendars world!!!! This one is SPECIAL!!!!”

Joe Budden Appears To React To Kevin Hart’s Response To Katt Williams

Meanwhile, Kevin Hart went at Katt WIlliams again on his NBA Unplugged show. “Do you entertain the circus or do you watch it?” he inquired to Kendrick Perkins. The 44-year-old also joked that Williams bought the New York Knicks and “returned them with a receipt,” plus some jabs at his comments about being an avid book reader as a child. Overall, it seemed like he backtracked his own remarks about this anger management being sad, and if he was just trying to joke around and be light about the topic, it didn’t really resonate with the crowd.

Still, we’re sure that, like many other celebrities, the Night School actor will probably have some more deep thoughts to say about all this. Maybe it will be a more serious and direct response, or he’ll stay on the comedy train to match Williams’ energy. With a topic as wide-yielding and beef-provoking as this, we doubt it’ll slow down soon. On that note, come back to HNHH for the latest news and updates on Kevin Hart, Joe Budden, and Katt Williams.

Joe Budden Confesses Jay-Z Conflict Wasn’t Something He Handled Well

Jay-Z and Joe Budden have had a pretty complicated collaborative history across the past twenty or so years. Moreover, you might know the rumors that Hov wanted to charge Budden $250K for a guest verse, which the latter himself admitted that he couldn’t confirm or deny. However, now he has a different admission about how he handled the Roc-A-Fella boss becoming the head of Joe’s label Def Jam, and the rift that this relationship caused between them. Furthermore, he explained this on The Pivot podcast recently, and broke down why he probably could’ve been a little more nuanced and appreciative in his response to a hip-hop peer becoming his higher-up.

“When Jay-Z got his role as president of Def Jam, I was a young artist on Def Jam trying to work on my second album,” Joe Budden explained. “And at that time, a lot of the artists on Def Jam had an issue with Jay-Z being the president. This was the first time that a rapper, our peer, was calling the shots, in charge of DMX’s release date and [LL COOL J’s] release date.

“None of us took that well. And I really didn’t take it well,” Joe Budden continued. “I didn’t handle myself well at all. Every interview that they booked for me, I kicked their back in. Every chance I got in front of a microphone, I had disparaging things to say about people who, ultimately, were maybe trying to help me. Even if they weren’t trying to help me, if I would’ve helped myself, I would have been in a different predicament. But I didn’t. Gas on the fire.

“In some instances, I maybe went about it the wrong way or expressed myself the wrong way,” he went on, referencing how he fell out with Slaughterhouse and Eminem’s Shady Records, too. “But the intent is always pure. The intent is always for the better of everyone. It’s never like a selfish act. When I had my back and forth with Shady Records and Eminem, I was fighting for me and [Slaughterhouse] to get a better situation.” Meanwhile, for more news and the latest updates on Joe Budden and Jay-Z, keep checking in with HNHH.

Joe Budden Went Back On His Apology To Logic, Accusing The Rapper Of Lying About Being Suicidal

Joe Budden’s job basically consists of courting controversy at this point. Once a well-respected rapper, he’s since made headlines mostly thanks to his outrageous takes on the Joe Budden Podcast, which seem mainly to be calling more popular artists’ new music “trash” and demeaning people for having mental health issues (which… have you heard a Joe Budden album?).

Of course, he still seemingly reserves some of his more spiteful views for other folks’ podcasts. In a recent episode of The Pivot Podcast on which he appeared, he accused Maryland rapper Logic of lying about being suicidal, despite previously apologizing for bullying the younger artist.

“Logic is full of sh*t,” he said. “I don’t believe him. You can’t know and you can’t prove it. But Logic is full of sh*t… Logic put out a song with mental health as the phone number –- “1-800-whatever-the-f*ck-that-sh*t-was.” Pandering bullsh*t. Everything about Logic is pandery. So there’s really no way to ever tell what’s truthful and what’s not truthful. And since he said [he had suicidal thoughts] I try to take him off my list of people to speak about because I do have a heart. But I do think he’s full of sh*t.”

That’s a pretty far cry from when he apologized to Logic for calling him the “worst rapper ever.” Budden even blamed his comments on his own poor mental health at the time, saying, “Last week, I came in here feeling pretty tumultuous… just hating myself and life, honestly. Unfortunately, I projected some of that onto you, Lodge. And for that, I want to apologize.”

Of course, a couple of weeks later, he was accusing Logic of “reverse bullying” him, so if there’s anyone here who’s untrustworthy, I think fans can puzzle that one out for themselves.

Nicki Minaj Mocks Haters While Discussing “Pink Friday 2’s” Record-Breaking Spotify Performance

Nicki Minaj used a mocking voice to mimic her haters while discussing her record-breaking new album, Pink Friday 2, with Joe Budden. The album achieved the biggest debut for a female hip-hop album in Spotify history. Additionally, it earned 228,000 album-equivalent units in its first week and debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200.

“Spotify 24-hour streams… Someone’s only popping ’cause there wasn’t nobody else out,” she said, in an over-the-top mocking voice. Budden responded: “So, you remember people saying this stuff?” to which she answered: “People did say this stuff.”

Later in the interview, Budden brings up the lyric, “Stay in your Tory lane, b*tch, I’m not Iggy,” off of Minaj’s “FTCU.” He says it “could be shade to a few people,” but Minaj responds: “Well, without thinking about it being shade to a few people, what do you think the line itself means?” Budden answers: “‘I’m not one of them,’ and I think it was a clever way to say that.” Elsewhere, Budden and Minaj discuss the significance of “Are You Gone Already,” The Notorious B.I.G. and Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, as well as the current state of hip-hop. Nicki Minaj continues promoting her new album, Pink Friday 2, including appearing alongside Joe Budden. During the interview, Minaj did not hold back her feelings about breaking the Spotify record for an album from a female rapper.

“Spotify 24-hour streams… Someone’s only popping ’cause there wasn’t nobody else out,” she mockingly said, using a line that her haters probably have to discredit her achievement.

“So, you remember people saying this stuff?” Budden asked in response, as Minaj simply went “Ah.”

“People did say this stuff,” he added.

From that moment, fans have been loving how energetic she was. At another point during her conversation with Budden, Minaj was asked about the line in “FTCU” that many have speculated as being a diss, although it’s still unclear about who. (“Stay in your Tory lane, b*tch, I’m not Iggy,” is the lyric in question.)

“It could be shade to a few people,” Budden noted.

“Well, without thinking about it being shade to a few people, what do you think the line itself means?” Minaj questioned back.

“‘I’m not one of them,’ and I think it was a clever way to say that,” he replied.
