The presidential election is in a weird spot right now. Obviously, it has a lot to do with the recent near tragedy that took place a couple of days ago. Donald Trump was almost assassinated during his Butler, Pennsylvania rally by one Thomas Crooks. The latter was promptly killed seconds after his thankfully inaccurate shots at the former president. Since it transpired, people (presumably Democrats) are claiming that Trump set this whole thing up to help him earn more votes. While that is almost certainly a stretch (an attendee also died), the bump in votes could happen. Because of that, Joe Biden, who still showed grace toward his opponent in a recent public address, he is still looking to get reelected. As the saying goes, “the show must go on”. So, it is no surprise that Joe Biden is trying to find any win against Donald Trump that he can.

For example, the current POTUS attempted to decode what his Republican foe meant by his “Black jobs” remarks in last month’s debate. According to AllHipHop, Complex and Speedy Morman spoke with Biden about this, as well as Trump’s supposed actual relationship with the aforementioned minority. “A Black job is the same as a white job, the same as any other job. But you know what he means by Black jobs. He means menial labor,” Biden asserted. That’s what he thinks. He thinks he’s gonna sell golden shoes or sneakers… There’s a reason why we are the most advanced nation in the world, the most progressive nation in the world, and why our economy is the biggest. We’re the only nation in the world that isn’t xenophobic”.

Then, in regard to Trump’s supposed love for the Black community and the rapper’s that have been endorsing him, Biden is questioning that too. “Well, I’m not sure he has that allegiance, number one. Number two, if you look at his record in terms of African Americans and minorities, it’s abysmal the way he handles everything. The answer is, I don’t know if he has hip-hop artists that are supportive of him”. There have been plenty of rappers that have been vocal about their affiliation with the former POTUS such as Sexyy Red, Kodak Black, Benny The Butcher, and more.

Joe Biden Shockingly Calls Kamala Harris “Vice President Trump”

President Joe Biden has been under a whole lot of scrutiny as of late. Overall, a lot of this has to do with his horrific debate performance from a few weeks ago. Since that time, Biden has made numerous mistakes which seemingly point towards cognitive decline. Although Biden has maintained that he will not drop out of the Presidential race, Democrats are practically begging for him to step aside. In fact, Kamala Harris is currently being tested in internal polling against Donald Trump.

Yesterday, Biden had a chance to prove himself at a news conference following a NATO meeting. Unfortunately, Biden made a plethora of mistakes yet again, and it was not a good look. Perhaps his worst error was when he called Kamala Harris, “Vice President Trump.” While it was a slip of the tongue, the President has been having a lot of those lately. Earlier in the day, he called Ukraine’s Zelensky “President Putin.” Again, not a good look.

Joe Biden Flubs Again

Following his speech, the reporters in attendance mostly asked him about his competence. Biden grew visibly frustrated while answering the questions. However, he did not that he believes Kamala Harris has what it takes to be President. While he is committed to running in November, perhaps this is all foreshadowing for what is to come. Either way, the President is experience horrible approval ratings, and the Democrats are internally freaking out. Only time will tell whether or not Biden steps down, or stubbornly stays in the race.

Joe Biden and Donald Trump’s first debate was concerning, to say the least, and left many voters questioning whether or not the current U.S. President is fit for another term. As a result, there have been countless demands for a switch up to the Democratic ticket. Of course, Vice President Kamala Harris would be the easiest replacement, though it was previously unclear how she might perform against Trump.

Now, The New York Times reports that the Biden-Harris campaign has been quietly conducting a survey to figure this out, according to three unnamed sources. They also added that some of the president’s top aides are skeptical of her ability to outperform Biden and are wary of putting any faith in hypothetical polling. It’s unclear at the time of writing what the campaign plans to do with its purported findings, whether it be to prove that Biden is still the strongest option or the opposite.

White House Spokesperson Denies Secret Survey Reports

Andrew Bates, a White House spokesperson, denies reports of a secret survey. “Unequivocally, this is not true,” he told PEOPLE. “President Biden’s team is strongly behind him.” The reports arrive shortly after NBC News chatted with three individuals “directly involved” in his campaign efforts, who claimed that the debate fallout has shaken their confidence. “He needs to drop out,” one of them explained, “He will never recover from this.” Another said, “No one involved in the effort thinks he has a path.”

“The question for me, and a lot of us, is: Who is the best person to beat Donald Trump?” someone else asked at the time. “There are a lot of us that are true blue that are questioning our initial thoughts on that.” Again, Biden campaign spokesman TJ Ducklo shut down these reports, insisting that the president’s team stands behind him. Joe Biden Receives Repeated Calls To Drop Out Of Presidential Race

President Joe Biden has received a whole lot of scrutiny over the last few weeks. Overall, this is mostly thanks to his horrific debate performance against Donald Trump. While Trump wasn’t exactly performing to the best of his abilities, Biden appeared to be in a bad state. There have been signs of cognitive decline, and his debate performance was one of his worst looks yet. Democrats have started to freak out, although Biden remains of the mindset that he is going to stay in the race.

According to CNN, Democrats like Nancy Pelosi have been critical of Biden and his choice to stay in the fight. Moreover, even George Clooney has made some strong comments about the President. This is significant considering how Clooney is a major donor to Biden. Despite all of this, the President is not dropping out of the race, at least for now. The Democratic National Convention is in August, which means there is still time for Biden to come out and drop out before it’s too late.

Waka Flocka Flame demanded that any supporters of President Joe Biden leave his concert while performing in Salt Lake City, Utah on Tuesday night. In doing so, he joked about the President’s age and told his voters to go join him at a bingo game. “All Joe Biden voters, get out of my concert,” he told the crowd. “We gonna see y’all at the bingo game. We’re gonna party right now for T24.”

“I bet he felt real comfortable saying that in Utah lol,” one user replied to a video of the moment on X (formerly Twitter). “N****s will use you to make it then switch up on you when they made you lol because you can’t tell me he has a enough day one fans that are republicans.” Another wrote: “Rappers don’t know nothing about politics.”

If you’re not clear where Cardi B stands politically, let her be the first to tell you that she will “never” become a Republican.

In response to a clip of Cardi previewing a new song, an X (formerly Twitter) user wrote yesterday (July 1), “she may have betrayed our country and turned Republican but at least she found a nice tune.” Cardi replied, “I will never turn republican lol.”

The user’s comment was presumably referencing Cardi recently distancing herself from Joe Biden. In a Rolling Stone feature shared in May, Cardi confirmed she doesn’t intend to vote in the upcoming election, saying of Biden and Donald Trump, “I don’t f*ck with both of y’all n****s.”

Cardi also said, “It’s just like, damn, y’all not caring about nobody. Then, it really gets me upset that there is solutions to it. There is a solution. I know there’s a solution because you’re spending billions of dollars on any f*cking thing.” She added later, “[America] don’t pay for endless wars for countries that have been going through sh*t for a very long time. There’s countries [where] kids are getting killed every single day, but because the [US] won’t benefit from that country, they won’t help. I don’t like that America has this superhero cape on. We never did things to be superheroes. We did things for our own convenience.”

Both Fat Joe and E-40 performed at the event, during which Biden attempted to restore confidence in Democratic voters.

As for Biden, he attempted to convince his base that concerns about his health are unfounded. “I know I’m not a young man — state the obvious,” Biden said during the event. “Folks, I don’t walk as easy as I used to. I don’t speak as smoothly as I used to. I don’t debate as well as I used to, but I know what I do know. I know how to tell the truth.” He added: “Folks, I give you my word as a Biden I wouldn’t be running again if I didn’t believe with all my heart and soul I can do this job. Because quite frankly the stakes are too high.”

The concerns for the incumbent candidate began immediately after the start of his debate against former president Donald Trump, earlier in the week. He slurred his words and appeared confused throughout the night. Regardless, he still intends to participate in the second debate later this summer. A night after a rather poor showing at the opening presidential debate, President Joe Biden was back on stage in Raleigh, North Carolina. Appearing more alert and healthier than the night before—his campaign stating he was battling a cold—Biden had a message for his supporters: “I intend to win this election.”

He had quite the powerful closing to his moment on stage:

“Let me close with this. I know I’m not a young man. I don’t walk as easily as I used to. I don’t talk as smoothly as I used to. I don’t debate as well as I used to. Well, I know what I do know. I know how to tell the truth. I know right from wrong. I know how to do this job. I know how to get things done. I know, like millions of Americans, when you get knocked down, you get back up. I know what it will take to bring this economy to everybody. I know what it’ll take to rally the world to stand up against Putin and defend freedom. And I know what it takes to keep the world safe and free for the years ahead.
