O.T. Genasis Responds To T-Pain Admitting He Regrets $400k Chain
O.T. Genasis says that there are worse decisions to be made than T-Pain dropping $400,000 on his “Big Ass Chain.” Genasis discussed T-Pain’s recent comments on regretting the iconic chain while speaking with TMZ.
He explained that the real regrets are “unnecessary dinners and bottles and all kind of stuff like that.” He added that those are the kinds of things “you don’t never get to see.”
He continued: “Then you look at it like, ‘Damn where all that money go? I coulda bought my chain.’”
From there, Genasis admitted that T-Pain’s chain was “not a good investment,” but said, “I thought it was a good decision ‘cause I remember that. Some things we just do for our image. We make dumber decisions than that.”
T-Pain previously discussed regretting the hefty purchase during a discussion with Oliver Tree. He also revealed that he bought the item after a stranger dared him to do so.
“One of my biggest fuckin’ regrets but I keep it around to remind myself,” Pain told Tree.
He added that the piece is worth $200,000 right now: “Price just went down. Price of gold and diamonds aren’t what they used to be.”
T-Pain continued: “Somebody was on the side of the stage at one of my shows and they said, ‘I bet you won’t get a big ass chain that says Big Ass Chain.’ And I said, ‘You don’t know how fuckin’ much money I got right now so don’t fuckin’ try me.’ I don’t know the guy, didn’t get his number, never seen him again and went and spent money on this chain to prove to this stranger that I would do it. Still don’t know who the fuck it was.”

Allen Iverson Recalls Shopping With Diddy & Biggie
Allen Iverson discussed his style with GQ Sports for the outlet’s inaugural Style Hall of Fame issue, recalling a time he went jewelry shopping with Diddy and The Notorious B.I.G.
When asked about his personal style, the legendary NBA star explained, “It was built over time. I know it had a lot to do with the dudes that I grew up with. All throughout my life—and it still goes on today—we compete with dressing. Still.”
Later in the interview, he recalled getting his first NBA paycheck.
“I remember my teammates [at Georgetown] were telling me, ‘When you get your league money, maybe you gone get some jewelry like Pac got,’” he told the outlet.
He continued: “Pac had the Rolex and all that. Puff was another muhfucka I admired. The swag, how cool he was, the way he is and how big he got. We was using the same jeweler, Manny the Jeweler. I went with him and Big. We in there, getting whatever. But I’m using checks. I just remember Big using goddamn cash. Big-ass knots, know what I mean? He’s standing, he got on jean shorts, and you can see the big-ass muhfuckin’ knots in his goddamn pants. Pac was getting his stuff from Manny’s too. I actually bought the same ring that Pac had bought at Manny’s. And I remember seeing Puff one time after that, and he was like, ‘Whatchu doin’ with all my chains on?’ I’m like, ‘Now I can get in there and get busy like you can.’”
He also mentioned looking up to the members of Wu-Tang Clan.

Drake’s Engagement Ring Necklace Reveals He Nearly Proposed 42 Times
To celebrate another undeniably successful year, Drake made sure to get himself a gift this holiday season – one unlike anything else currently in his collection. The Canadian is obviously no stranger to embracing the lavish lifestyle, and that clearly shines through on his latest project, designed by jeweller to the stars, Alex Moss.
As Page Six reports, an Instagram Reel went up on Monday (December 12), unveiling the stunning piece. Throughout the clip, the creator specifically explains the precise detail that went into making Drizzy’s order, including hundreds of carats of diamonds (351.38, to be exact).
“New piece titled ‘Previous Engagements,’” Moss wrote in the caption. “For all the times he thought about it but never did it.” Furthermore, he revealed that Drake nearly proposed 42 times in the past, symbolizing the number of diamonds used.
Throughout his narration, the jeweller explains that the project took him over a year to finish. “[It was] an expedition spanning 14 months, every diamond hand selected, inspected to only suit perfection,” he says.
“This monumental art piece was assembled using 351.38 carats of diamonds mounted in 18k white gold.” Talk about a “Rich Flex.”
The comment section is now full of clever quips from fans. “Alex Moss, can you do sumn for me?” one person wrote, referencing popular Her Loss lyrics.
Others comparatively shared their unique ideas for the chain’s name. “Bro moving DIFFERENT! Should have named this piece ‘HER LOSS,’” someone teased. “So who was the two big stones for?” another comment asks. “You should call this piece ‘UNLUCKY LADIES.’”
It remains unclear which of Drake’s former lovers his diamonds are dedicated to. However, we do know for sure that he’s spent time with Julia Fox, Rihanna, Tyra Banks, and SZA.
Recently, the latter spoke about her past relationship with Drake, particularly comparing the Scorpion rapper to Regina George from Mean Girls. Read what else she had to say here, and check back later for more pop culture news updates.
