Jamie Foxx’s Next Project Will Be Hosting “We Are Family” Game Show With Daughter Corinne

It’s now been over a month since he suffered from a serious “medical complication” (now said to have been a stroke) in the midst of filming his upcoming Netflix project. While we haven’t seen new photos or heard from Foxx directly, his Instagram feed recently lit up with a post reassuring fans that he’s improving amid claims that family and loved ones have been preparing for the worst.

Though the Ray actor’s relatives have kept mostly quiet throughout all the drama, his daughter, Corinne, recently dispelled some of the hurtful gossip circulating. “Sad to see how the media runs wild. My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support,” she wrote on social media last week. Even though he’s apparently back on his feet, Jamie and his daughter have opted to take a break from hosting their game show, Beat Shazam together as he works toward healing.

Jamie Foxx Out Of Hopsital “For Weeks” According To Daughter

Jamie Foxx has finally left hospital nearly a month after suffering a medical emergency on set. The news comes from Foxx’s daughter, Corinne, via Instagram. “Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild. My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support!”. Foxx was originally hospitalized on April 11 after collapsing on the set of his new Netflix film, Back In Action.

The news comes as something of a surprise, given that the latest reports from “sources close to the situation” indicated the complete opposite. As recently as May 11, outlets were reportedly being told by sources that Foxx’s family was preparing for the worst. However, Corinne Foxx’s message may point to the media’s overeagerness to report on the situation.

Foxx’s Hospitalisation Plagued With Conflicting Accounts

Everyone from TMZ to PEOPLE reportedly has a source “close to Foxx” who has been feeding them information ever since he was hospitalized. However, the battle for exclusives has created a confusing and contradictory timeline. Foxx’s Instagram posts for the first time since his hospitalization, only for Kevin Hart to say that nothing’s changed. One person tells PEOPLE he’s in stable condition on May 7, only for Radar Online to claim his family is “preparing for the worst” on May 10.

Additional fuel has been thrown on the fire by the fact that no images of Foxx has emerged. His family has chosen not to release any during updates, including in Corinne’s latest post. This has led some fans to question whether his family are attempting to deflect media speculation as Foxx continues to struggle. Regardless, it’s wonderful to hear a positive update from someone so close to Foxx. We at HotNewHipHop hope he recovers fully and quickly and that there is more good news to report soon.

Confusing Reports About Foxx’s Health Status

The subject of Jamie Foxx’s current health is a confusing one. Last month, the actor was hospitalized for a still-undisclosed “medical complication.” Though Foxx’s representatives and family members assured the public that he was in stable, recovering condition, fans remained concerned. Close friends of the actor also urged fans to pray for his recovery. However, Foxx recently posted on Instagram for the first time since his hospitalization. While this brought some relief, sources close to Foxx revealed that he was still in the same condition as before.

Earlier this week, it was reported to People Magazine that the actor’s condition had stabilized and that he is no longer in a life-threatening situation. Still, he remains in the hospital. The reports also said that doctors were conducting more tests to ensure that he was okay before discharging him. Then, yesterday’s reports indicated that his family expects that the worst may happen. It is unclear which reports are to be believed. Stay tuned to HNHH for the latest updates on Foxx’s condition.

Despite seemingly positive reports on Jamie Foxx’s health, a new update has alarmed fans as his family is reportedly “hoping for the best but preparing for the worst!”

A source spoke to RadarOnline, stating the hospitalized actor’s condition is in question.

“Jamie’s people are saying he’s doing OK and improving while doctors try to get to the bottom of his problems,” said the supposed source. “But he wouldn’t be in a hospital this long if he was anything close to okay. His friends and family are hoping for the best but preparing for the worst!”

Earlier this week, Jamie Foxx was considered to be “stable and not in a life-threatening situation now” following a medical emergency last month.

“[Doctors] are doing more tests and want to be completely sure that he will be okay before allowing him to” depart the medical facility, a source revealed to PEOPLE.

“He has a lot of projects going on,” the source added. “He gets things done; he is focused and astute. What happened to him medically is serious enough to keep him in the hospital.”

The source also stated the hospital is “the last place” the Oscar winner wanted to be. Before his hospital stay started, Foxx was filming Back in Action, a film for Netflix.

While Foxx is recovering, there is no exact date on when he will leave the hospital.

Jamie Foxx Still Hospitalized, Family Prepares For Worst: Report

Has Foxx Taken A Turn For The Worse?

Jamie Foxx’s health has been the subject of much debate since he was hospitalized last month. There have been conflicting reports about the actor’s condition. Despite his team claiming that he is doing okay and improving, insiders have said that he wouldn’t be in the hospital for so long if that were true. At the time of the incident, Foxx’s 29-year-old daughter announced that he experienced a “medical complication,” but did not provide details. Jamie himself posted on Instagram that he was doing well and thanked his fans for their prayers, but some social media users are skeptical about whether he posted it himself.

According to a new report from Radar Online, Foxx’s family is now preparing for the worst possible outcome. It is unclear what could have changed that led to this update.
