Ja Rule’s New Label Deal “Worth $100 Million,” He Alleges While Telling “Haters” To “SMD”

After the fallout he faced from the Fyre Festival fiasco of 2017, some thought Ja Rule’s career would never recover. However, the embattled rapper has made significant strides in turning his life around since then, and now has high hopes of rising to the top of the music industry again. Early on Thursday (January 4), Ja logged onto Twitter/X to share some exciting news with his fanbase. “Just signed my new label deal, potentially worth a hundred mill… [Let’s f**king go!!!].” the 47-year-old began, before taking shots at anyone that’s been praying for his downfall recently.

“Thanks for the love, and to the haters, [suck my d**k],” he declared. Minutes later, in another post, Ja shared what vibes he plans to be on in the new year. “Here’s what’s needed to be understood for 24. HATE is for suckers and dick riding is NOT a form of transportation. Lmao, it’s getting you nowhere… Stop being goofy and get money!!! That’s what Ja thinks.” Less than an hour later, the “Mesmerize” artist reminded us he’s still got it when it comes to rhyming.

Ja Rule is Feeling Proud of His Recent Accomplishments

“B**ch ni**as hate, real ones congratulate,” the father of three told the world. Afterward, he encourage those who support him to go a bit harder when defending his name, like the Barbz do for Nicki Minaj. “I need them a**hole fans that go at [people’s] head for talking bad on my name. Lmao, my fans not sav*ge enough,” Ja observed, prompting many to come forward with stories of them sticking up for one of their favourite rappers, both on and offline. “I been defending you since the 6th grade… I’m 33 now, still defending you lol,” someone told him beneath his tweet. “People hate when I say without Ja there would be no Drake.”

As he continues to prepare his first album since 2012’s PIL 2, Ja Rule’s confidence is evident. He’s already making his presence felt online this year, and longtime fans of the East Coast icon are celebrating the anniversary of one of his biggest hits – “Always On Time” with Ashanti. Nobody Asked For A New Ja Rule Album In 2024, But It Looks Like He’s Giving Us One Anyway

Ja Rule last released an album in 2012. Pain Is Love 2, the Queens rapper’s seventh studio album, was released during his incarceration for tax evasion and gun possession. While it did make the Billboard 200 chart, it only reached No. 197, selling just over 3,000 copies its first week. Since then, Ja has been better known for three things: his undying feud with 50 Cent, a meme started by a Dave Chappelle bit, and co-signing the Fyre Festival boondoggle, which almost landed him right back in prison for fraud.

It looks like that may change soon, though. Although no one has really asked for one, it appears that the mogul has been working on a new project, writing on Twitter, “In full Album mode… #CWWTST.” Intriguingly enough, it might be a good time for it; Ja’s billed to perform in the UK, Ireland, and Scotland this spring for The Sunrise Tour celebrating 25 years since the release of his debut album Venni Vetti Vecci.

We’re not entirely sure what a Ja Rule album would sound like in 2024, but he’s not alone in making a turn back to his original day job. 50 Cent has been promising his own new album, saying it’ll be his last.

Nelly Does A Ja Rule Impression While Joining Ashanti On Stage

Much of the news revolving around Nelly and Ashanti recently hasn’t had much to do with anything they’ve done on stage. Social media lit up earlier this week when Ashanti posted a video of the singer rubbing her belly in a way that indicated to many fans that she might be pregnant. Rumors began to swirl immediately but they didn’t last all that long before being officially confirmed. A source broke the news the same day that the couple are expecting a child together.

Now video is making the rounds from a performance over the weekend that saw the two sharing the stage. During the performance, Ashanti unpacked her classic 2002 hit “Mesmerize.” But where the song would normally feature Ja Rule, Nelly stepped in. He even managed to impress some fans both in attendance and online afterward with the quality of his impression. Check out one of the clips of his performance below.

Nelly’s Ja Rule Impression

Another person that many fans are talking about in the wake of the pregnancy news is Irv Gotti. He notoriously claimed to have a romantic relationship with Ashanti during an episode of Drink Champs last year. So the revelation that she is actually dating Nelly and that they’re now expecting a child together caused plenty of fans to give Gotti some flak.

Tasha K also went viral earlier this year for her issues with the pairs relationship. She called out Nelly’s past actions and claimed that Ashanti should somehow be above dating him once again. Even when she had the opportunity to back down on her comments she instead chose to double down. “I don’t want to see a MF spin the block on you to do the same thing he did to you before,” the blogger said in her second rant on the subject. What do you think of Nelly’s Ja Rule impression? Did he do a convincing job filling in on the song? Let us know in the comment section below.

Ja Rule Fires Back At 50 Cent: “Enjoy These Criminal Charges & Lawsuit”

Ja Rule

The Ja Rule and 50 Cent feud continues. While the two New York artists have been back and forth for quite some time now, recent antics seemed to have reignited the tension.

Of course, everyone knows 50 to be the troll he is on social media. Early Thursday morning, the G-Unit founder posted a video clip of Ja Rule from the 2023 BMI R&B/Hip Hop Awards in Miami the evening prior, showcasing Ja Rule tied to a wooden column as he performed his religious song “One Of Us” that was released back in 2000. Rule was shirtless, surrounded by singers dressed in all white as he rapped.

50 wrote in the caption: “👀look at this shit head, is he supposed to be Jesus. 😆 WTF you can’t make this shit up. LOL so stupid ! #bransoncognac #lecheminduroi”

This reaction elicited a response from Ja himself, who took to his own social media to post a picture of 50 Cent upside now. He wrote in the caption: “We ain’t forget — enjoy these criminal charges and lawsuit, dickhead!”

While Ja has since deleted the post, he referred to 50 Cent’s recent incident where he hit a fan with a microphone during the LA stop of his Final Lap Tour. While 50 claimed it wasn’t intentional, many wonder if he will be sued for his actions.

Ja Rule Takes Shots At 50 Cent’s Mic Throw In Now Deleted Instagram Post

50 Cent has been facing criticism from all angles for his most recent controversy. After experiencing technical difficulties during a show he got so frustrated that he threw his microphone into the crowd. The mic happened to hit a radio host watching the show which resulted in an investigation for battery and is likely to head to a lawsuit. He’s already taken some shots from one rival, The Game, who took to his Instagram story to call 50 out for coming to LA and hitting women. Now another adversary he’s often gone back and forth with is taking shots of his own.

In a now deleted Instagram post, Ja Rule called out 50 for his behavior and didn’t mince words. “We ain’t forget… Enjoy those criminal charges and lawsuit d*ckhead!!!” Ja captioned his post according to TMZ. The post itself featured a video stitching together numerous 50 Cent incidents from the past. It’s unclear why he deleted the post so quickly after making it but going easier on 50 Cent certainly isn’t a likely reason. The pair have no been taking shots at each other for two full decades and it doesn’t seem like they’ll stop any time soon.

Ja Rule And 50 Cent Beef Lives On After Mic Throw

The response from Ja Rule also has to do with a critique 50 Cent made of one of his recent performances. 50 took aim at Ja for depicting himself as Jesus during a performance at the BMI R&B/Hip Hop Awards. Even though Ja Rule deleted his specific callout post, his comments are still filled with fans either defending him from 50 or doubling down on his criticisms.

50 also ended up in a weird debate with fans after posting a painting to his Instagram earlier this week. The paiinting showed Michael Jackson handing his crown to Chris Brown. In the caption 50 implied that Chris Brown is one of the best artists around right now. What do you think of Ja Rule’s newest criticism’s of 50 Cent? Let us know in the comment section below.

50 Cent Made Fun Of Ja Rule’s ‘Stupid’ 2023 BMI R&B/Hip Hop Awards Performance: ‘Look At This Sh*t Head’

50 Cent and Ja Rule‘s beef is relentless. In June, the “Candy Shop” rapper called Ja Rule’s entrance to Nelly’s Hot In Herre Festival “stupid.” A few months before that, Ja Rule was trolled with a 50 Cent song when performing at Power 106.9’s Jingle Jam concert.

The beef continues as of today (September 7). On Instagram, 50 Cent posted a video of Ja Rule’s performance of his 2000 song “One Of Us” at the BMI R&B/Hip Hop Awards on Wednesday night. It’s a religious-inspired set-up with everyone on stage wearing white robes while Ja Rule is tied to a slab of wood. “Look at this sh*t head, is he supposed to be Jesus,” he wrote in the caption. “WTF you can’t make this sh*t up. LOL so stupid!”

When asked about his beef with 50 Cent, Ja Rule explained in 2021, “When the Feds come in they take all your resources,” he said. “They take your money, they make the people that are dealing with you… those ties are severed. Def Jam severed their ties with us, we didn’t have anything anymore… I can’t really make the records that I want to make to be competitive on a rap level, it was bad timing. So by the time I actually did come and make the records, it was too late, motherf*ckers were already like ‘ahh, he already won.’”
