Overall, you may not like his opinions, but you have to respect his craft all of these years into the game. Moreover, Morant recently sat down with Jalen Rose where he explained that he has sought counseling for stress and anxiety. Cam’ron has been making some serious waves as of late thanks to his brand new sports show called It Is What It Is. Overall, fans have been loving the new show as he never fails to speak his mind. Additionally, the show is a unique take on the First Take format we have been subjected to for so long. Cam can pretty well say and do whatever he wants on the show, and it makes for some hilarious banter. This is especially true as Ma$e has been his co-host through all of it. The two have great chemistry, and clips from the show continue to go viral.

Recently, Cam and Ma$e got to talk about the Ja Morant situation. Although Morant seems to be on his way back, it is clear that Cam isn’t impressed with his public responses. For instance, Cam’ron was a bit confused by Ja’s mental health excuse. “N****s gotta stop playing with this mental health shit, for real,” Cam said. “When n****s get in trouble and n****s ain’t doing shit right, n****s is running to that. ‘You know what? I bugged out and my brain ain’t working right.’”

Overall, there is no telling how this Morant situation will go. He is set to return to the NBA very soon and he may even be back on the floor four days from now. Ja Morant has been going through quite a bit as of late. Following an Instagram Live in which he flashed a gun, Morant was suspended from the league. Subsequently, he checked himself into a counseling program where he sought help for his behavior. Overall, it was a sad story to bear witness to as Ja has so much potential. You never want to see a young player go down this path, and Ja realized his actions were detrimental to himself and those around him.

Yesterday, it was revealed by Adam Silver that Morant would be retroactively suspended for eight games without pay. Moreover, he could return to the league on March 20th. In the midst of this, he sat down with Jalen Rose, where he cleared up some facts about the situation. For instance, he revealed whether or not the gun belonged to him. “The gun wasn’t mine. It’s not who I am,” Morant said. “I don’t condone any type of violence, but I’ve taken responsibility for my actions. Ja Morant has recently found himself in the hot seat of the NBA after allegations of him punching and allegedly pulling out a gun on a 17-year-old, threatening a mall security guard, and flashing a gun on his Instagram live in a strip club. Last week it was reported that the Grizzlies star was undergoing a counseling program, and yesterday it was announced that he would be suspended for 8 games without pay for his conduct. Shortly after his suspension was announced, Morant sat down with ESPN and Jalen Rose for a candid interview.

When asked about the gun incident in the strip club, Morant said that the gun was not his and he doesn’t condone any type of violence. “The gun wasn’t mine. It’s not who I am. I don’t condone any type of violence, but I’ve taken responsibility for my actions. But in the future, I’m going to show everybody who Ja really is, what I’m about, and change this narrative that everybody got.”

Morant was recently suspended by the Grizzlies for eight games after dodging criminal charges for brandishing a gun on Instagram, which has caused many notables to weigh in on his life on and off the court. Skip Bayless, Shannon Sharpe and Fat Joe are just a few who gave their insight on Morant and his off court antics, but now Harlem World’s Cam and Mase have been added to the conversation.

On his most recent episode of It Is What It Is sports show, the Dipset general and his first rhyme partner, rapper turned pastor Mase, talked about Morant’s uninterrupted string of undesirable incidents, to which Cam attributed his issues to the young PG having what he called “Gary Coleman” syndrome. It has been an intense time for the Memphis Grizzlies star, who at 23 years old has mapped out a lengthy, successful career in the NBA. However, he’s hit a few missteps, and in recent weeks, Morant’s goals seem to be unraveling in real time. Retired ballers like Stephen Jackson have vocalized support for Morant, telling him he made a mistake and could move forward. Others have questioned why it seemed that Morant was trying to appear tougher than he is, advising him to leave the street life behind. Now, the basketball star is speaking out in his first interview since his scandals began.

Ja Morant Will Not be Charged by Colorado Authorities, Will Miss Next 4 Games

Ja Morant has received an eight-game suspension from the NBA.

The announcement covers the six games he will miss, including the Wednesday game at Miami. Morant can rejoin the team this Monday when the Memphis Grizzlies take on the Dallas Mavericks. That is the same day the Grizz allowed Morant to return.

According to ESPN, Morant met with NBA commissioner Adam Silver in New York on Wednesday regarding the gun incident at a Denver strip club at the top of the month. Silver provided a statement on the matter.

“Ja’s conduct was irresponsible, reckless and potentially very dangerous,” said Silver. “It also has serious consequences given his enormous following and influence, particularly among young fans who look up to him. He has expressed sincere contrition and remorse for his behavior. Ja has also made it clear to me that he has learned from this incident and that he understands his obligations and responsibility to the Memphis Grizzlies and the broader NBA community extend well beyond his play on the court.”

The league’s investigation could not conclude that the gun was owned by Morant or was brought into the strip club by him. Morant will also not be charged with a crime.

Ja Morant Will Be Able To Return To The NBA On This Date

Ja Morant has been through it over the last two weeks. However, this is due to his own actions. Ultimately, Morant found himself suspended from the league after he flashed a gun on Instagram Live. Overall it was a boneheaded move that immediately captured the attention of the NBA. That said, Morant has spent the last week and some change at a counseling program in Florida. He wanted to get his head right, and it was a step in the right direction.

Today, however, it was revealed that Morant would be leaving the program. Additionally, Morant met with Adam Silver who decided that Morant would be allowed to return to the court. Although, at the time of the initial report, there was no direct timeline for when he would be allowed to come back. That has since changed as the NBA and Silver released a statement today. Essentially, Morant was suspended retroactively for eight games. This means the NBA star can come back to the Grizzlies on March 20th.
