Cam’ron Theorizes About Travis Kelce & Taylor Swift’s Relationship While OJ Simpson Looks On

Cam’ron and Ma$e have been putting in work when it comes to their show, It Is What It Is. Overall, the new sports debate show has proven to be a massive success. Although they may not be on ESPN, they are still picking up amazing numbers. Moreover, their approach to sports talk is incredible. They bring a fan perspective to the space and they do not pull any punches. It makes for some amazing segments that always seem to go viral. That probably won’t change anytime soon.

Recently, Cam decided to weigh in on the Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce news. These two have been rumored to be dating for the last month or so. While this story has exhausted some people, it is one that Cam’ron and Ma$e haven’t discussed a lot. Well, on the most recent episode of their show, Cam tried to break it all down. As you can see in the clip below, the famous Dipset rapper attempts to make some assumptions about their relationship and what Swift wants.

Cam’ron Delivers His Analysis

Based on his own previous experiences with women, Cam believes Swift isn’t looking for a nice and sensitive guy. In fact, he believes she wants Travis Kelce to be dominant and assertive, despite her making more money. Ma$e seemed to be amused by this theory. However, the most bizarre part of the clip comes when we get a split-screen that shows OJ Simpson watching on. As many of you already know, Simpson has become a regular on the show, particularly during football talk.

At this point, no one truly knows what this relationship dynamic is like. Having said that, let us know your thoughts on Cam and his theory, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the sports world. We will always keep you informed.

Mase & Cam’ron Debate Who Has More Pause-Worthy Lyrics

Mase and Cam’ron got into a battle of pause-worthy lyrics on the latest episode of their sports talk show, It Is What It Is. In particular, Mase resurfaced Cam’ron’s bars on The Diplomats’ 2003 track, “Gangsta.”

“What song is this?” Mase said through laughter, as noted by HipHopDX. “It says: ”Cause I follow for figures, my hollow and triggers/ Swallow a n***a like a bottle of liquor.’ What did you mean by that?” Cam’ron responded with laughs, “Bet. I can’t wait.” Mase admitted that his fans online helped him find the lyrics. “Soon as you said that yesterday they sent me all your lyrics,” Mase revealed. “You know n****s on Instagram is petty.”

It’s far from the first time Mase and Cam’ron have trolled each other on the show. When the two pulled up to the USC and Colorado football game, last month, in Boulder, Cam took issue with Mase watching from USC’s sidelines. “I told n****s had everything laid out for you. You had your own suite ready, they had the car service ready for you, catering, and once n****s start losing. How the fuck you get on the USC sideline? … You embarrassed me, man… People seen that it was a little embarrassing for me, man.” Mase tried to explain: “I was up there getting a Smashburger and they took me to the USC side. Once I started take pictures with people, USC guys they grabbed me. I came in through the regular gate. I took the kids to get the experience. By the time I got in there, I couldn’t get in the Colorado side.” Check out the latest episode of the show below.

Rich Paul Texted Cam’ron To Defend Anthony Davis

Rich Paul reportedly defended Anthony Davis after the Lakers star came under some harsh criticism from Cam’ron. “Shout-out to my man Rich Paul. Whoever is Rich Paul’s clients, you guys should feel very lucky. He doesn’t let nothing slide. He’s very passionate about his clients. He’ll call and try to check you about his clients. He texted me like, ‘Y’all kinda went hard on Anthony Davis the other day.’ Just in case y’all missed the episode, there was a statement where LeBron said, ‘This is the year they want to hand the team over to Anthony Davis.’ And we up here and we made a little fun of Anthony Davis,” Cam’ron said on a recent episode of It Is What It Is.

However, Cam’ron didn’t entirely offer a mea culpa, defending his comments as well. “I texted Rich Paul back that’s my man you know we Ohio and all that. I texted him back, ‘Yo Rich listen, maybe I’m on the outside looking in, but I thought that was the whole reason he left New Orleans anyway. He got to the Lakers and I thought that was LeBron saying, ‘Okay cool, I got somebody young on the team,’” the Dipset rapper added. “I can defer to him and this is a four-year project that hasn’t taken the team over and I relayed that to Rich. I thought that was the plan from the jump to give him the team and LeBron is about to be 39 and we still have to go about LeBron giving him the team. LeBron been ready to defer and give him the team,” Cam’ron argued.

Rich Paul Explains Why He Hates The Term “Max Contracts”

Elsewhere, Paul went in on the phrase “max contract” while speaking with JJ Redick. “It’s your approach, your play, then your professionalism. That equals your power. Because if I have a guy whose approach is right, is playing at that level, and is a professional, I’ve got all the power in the world. And the owners, they’re going to respect and accept and enhance that power. Very few guys in the league actually has the power to move the needle and have an impact on things. But because you may be making max money, you feel like you do, and we all know that is not true. That’s why I hate that word, max. Because it gives you this entitlement, and that’s where you lose it all,” Paul said in a teaser posted to social media.

In short – Paul doesn’t like players conflating “max contract” with “league power player”. Elsewhere in the teaser, Paul says there are only 9 or 10 players in the entire league with any sort of power. He means your LeBrons, your Giannises. The sort of player who can demand how, where, and for how much they play almost without restriction. Just because you make the maximum amount of money a team can offer you doesn’t mean that you get to dictate the terms of your employment carte blanche.

Cam’ron Refutes “Old” Troll Jokes: “I Had A Million When I Was 20, How Much You Got?”

Cam’ron is a hip-hop veteran, one that helped define the genre in the East Coast in the 2000s and remains a pivotal voice in the culture. Nowadays, it’s through a bit of a different lens, given the massive success of his sports talk show with Ma$e, It Is What It Is. Moreover, it’s still great to see the Dipset member be a part of the game, whether that’s occasional performances, releases, or just being part of the conversation. Still, with that experience and knowledge gained over a long time, plenty of people will try to downplay your impact, especially those that don’t know your full history. As such, he carved out a time slot of It Is What It Is to address haters calling him old.

“Listen, let me tell you something about being older,” Cam’ron’s remarks about being called a dinosaur began. “The n***as be like, ‘Oh, you’re old this, that, and the third.’ All older means is I know everything you know and more. I look just as good as you, and I f**k the b***hes that’s your age, and I get more money than you, n***a.

“So you can get the f**k out my face with that s**t, n***a,” Cam’ron continued his hilarious and animated rant. “I’m talking to them n***as in the early 20s. I’m not talking teenage; n***as 20 to 25. ‘Oh, n***as old.’ I had a million when I was 20, shawty, how much you got? Still getting mad millions and I look better than you because you on drugs You know what’s dope about this? I could bone your girlfriend and your mother. So be easy talking to me when you 20 to 25 talking that older s**t. I love it here.”

Meanwhile, the New York MC can be just as cutting and unfiltered in his football analysis, as Russell Wilson recently learned the hard way. Cam had the bright idea for him to dump Ciara in order to improve his game, which seems like quite the extreme solution. He and Ma$e make for a great on-air team, and whether it’s sports or music-related, seeing them find this platform has been a treat. Cam’ron Suggests Russell Wilson Dump Ciara To Improve His Play

Cam’ron has offered the radical suggestion that Russell Wilson leave his pregnant wife Ciara to improve his ailing football play. “Broncos, look like y’all season is over. Sean Payton, you tried. Rusell Wilson, get rid of your girl. That’s the only suggestion I got for you. I don’t know what else to do for you. You want to win? It depends on what kinda ring you want. You want the ring for marriage or the Super Bowl ring,” Cam’ron said on It Is What It Is this week.

The Broncos lost their fourth game of the season over the weekend, falling to the Jets 31-21. Wilson has 1210 yards, 11 touchdowns, and 119 rushing yards on the season. However, the Broncos have struggled to hold leads or find any consistent momentum over their first five games of the season. The stretch also included a brutal 70-20 loss that had many calling for the head for defensive coordinator Vance Joseph. However, things don’t get any easier for the Broncos, with two games against the Chiefs and a game against the Bills as part of their next four games.

Marshawn Lynch Speaks On Russell Wilson Relationship

However, his marriage isn’t the only relationship of Russell Wilson’s that has been a topic of conversation lately. “I can’t speak on what went down because I didn’t fuck with them. I didn’t fuck with Pete and Russ…he was just a quarterback to me. As for what happened, I can’t pick up the phone and ask him what’s up cuz I don’t got his number. I would roll with him as a quarterback because I have done that. But beyond that… there’s no relationship there,” Marshawn Lynch told Shannon Sharpe on Club Shay Shay recently.

Lynch joined the Seahawks via trade in 2010 and quickly became RB1 in Seattle. Meanwhile, Wilson was a third-round draft pick in 2012, winning the starting gig in the offseason and watched 2011 starter Travarius Jackson be traded to Buffalo. Arguably, the Wilson-Lynch connection, which lasted until the end of the 2015 season, was one of the best periods in Seahawks history. The pair won a Super Bowl together and arguably would have won another if Wilson had just handed the ball off to Lynch on the goal line. But it’s clear from Lynch’s comments that the chemistry ended as soon as they stepped off the field.

Cam’ron “Embarrassed” After Mase Ditched Colorado For USC At Halftime

Cam’ron called out his It Is What It Is co-host Ma$e for his antics in Boulder this past weekend. The pair rolled up to support Deion Sanders and Colorado. However, Ma$e ditched the Buffs for the Trojans as they entered halftime with USC leading 34-14. Ma$e went as far as to post a video of himself dancing to “Who Let the Dogs Out” on USC’s sideline.

“How da fuck he get on their sideline?! N-gga Betha talking bout ‘USC adopted him’ in his caption. I told n-ggas had everything laid out for you. You had your own suite ready, they had the car service ready for you, catering, and once n-ggas start losing. How the fuck you get on the USC sideline? … You embarrassed me, man… People seen that it was a little embarrassing for me, man.” Ma$e tried to defend himself, saying he was off getting Smashburger when he was simply swept up by the USC crowd.

Cam’ron Sticks With Colorado Through Failed Comeback

While Ma$e may have ditched the Buffs at halftime, that’s when the game actually got interesting. Trailing 34-14, a completely different Buffs team took the field in the third quarter. The Buffs outscored the Trojans 27-14 in the second half and were an onside kick recovery away from at least forcing overtime. However, USC recovered the kick and killed the clock to hang on for a 48-41 victory. If they had been successful, the 27-point comeback would have been the largest in school history. That record is held by the Buffs’ 20-point comeback against Missouri in 1978.

The loss dropped Colorado to 3-2 on the season and made their all-time record against the Trojans a dismal 0-17. Shedeur Sanders had 371 yards, four touchdowns, and a rushing touchdown. Meanwhile, receiver Omarion Miller had 196 yards and a score. However, the defense was absolutely torched through the air by USC. Caleb Williams had six passing touchdowns, with two going to former Buffs receiver Brendan Rice. Next week, the Buffs travel to 1-4 Arizona State.

Mase Recalls Why He Brought Cam’ron To Biggie Instead Of Diddy

Mase and Cam’ron shared an emotional moment during an episode of their sports talk show, It Is What It Is, on Thursday. Mase reflected on his decision to bring Cam’ron to The Notorious B.I.G. at the beginning of his career rather than Diddy. He explained that he wanted the best for Cam’ron.

“When you had your record deal, why did you take me to Biggie Smalls and not Bad Boy,” Cam asked. Mase answered: “It’s almost gonna bring me to tears to say this. Being that I saw you as such a good friend, I wanted to put you with somebody I knew [would do right by you].” From there, Cam’ron added: “Thank you man, I really appreciate that. I don’t want to get emotional in here.” Mase continued: “I knew Biggie would do right by you. I thought he would do [the right thing].”

Damian Lillard Walks Right Into “Pause” Moment With Cam’ron & Ma$e

Damian Lillard is someone who is going through a lot right now. Overall, he is looking to get out of Portland and play for the Miami Heat. However, the Trail Blazers are not making that easy for him. Instead, they are making sure that the price is just too high for him. They do not want to let him go for nothing, which is understandable. That said, the Heat are also not willing to give up their entire roster just to get one player who may or may not bring them a title.

With all of this drama surrounding Lillard, Dame decided to take his talents to It Is What It Is with Cam’ron and Ma$e. Cam and Ma$e are two artists who love their sports. Consequently, Lillard is someone they can relate to given the fact that Dame also makes music. If you watched their episode today, you would have noticed immediately just how good their chemistry is. In fact, there was one moment in the episode that encapsulated everything that works about It Is What It Is.

Damian Lillard x “It Is What it Is”

During one moment in the show, Lillard said the phrase “running pole to pole.” Immediately, Cam’ron and Ma$e hit Lillard with their signature “pause.” This has become frequent on the show to the point where you almost cannot say anything without it becoming an issue. However, Lillard thought it was incredibly funny. He knows these two all too well and he noted that it was only a matter of time before he said something that would get taken the wrong way.

Throughout the interview, Lillard touched on a plethora of other topics. For instance, he noted how he has no interest in going to a team like Golden State. At the end of the day, he just wants to get a title. Let us know what you thought of his appearance on It Is What It Is, in the comments section below. OJ Simpson Makes 9/11 Joke While Discussing Aaron Rodgers Injury On “It Is What It Is”

OJ Simpson has found himself a bit of hot water following comments he made on It Is What It Is. While discussing Aaron Rodgers’ season-ending injury and its impact on the Jets, Simpson made a reference to 9/11. “9/11 is just a bad date for New York,” Simpson said amid laughs from the show hosts. However, the joke did not go over well on social media. Many people called it insensitive and in bad taste.

However, it’s just the latest in a series of 9/11 mishaps this week. On 9/11 itself, the NYPD put out a memorial tweet. However, the wording made it sound like there was an active terror attack occurring in New York. Meanwhile, sportsbook Draft Kings was forced to apologize after advertising a “Never Forget” promotional parlay. The parlay was based on the three New York teams playing on 9/11 winning their respective games. Additionally, allegations that Rodgers himself is a 9/11 truther added a layer of irony to his injury.

Jets Not Asking Brady To Play QB

Despite Rodgers’ injury, there is one man the Jets will not be reaching out to. Tom Brady’s name had been floated as an outside-the-box addition after Aaron Rodgers was ruled for the season after just four snaps. However, per The Athletic, Brady is not one of the people that the Jets will be reaching out to this week. However, it’s likely that Brady was never more than a name that writers were using to pad their articles. The GOAT has made it very clear over the past few months that his second retirement was going to be permanent. Furthermore, Brady now partially owns the Raiders. It’s hard to see him being allowed to suit up for another team in the league.

The Jets have made it clear the last 24 hours that Zach Wilson is their starter. I’m told this is their plan headed into Dallas and beyond, per multiple sources. While they have looked at every option on the table, the team believes Wilson is their best choice,” Dianna Russini summarized on Twitter. However, she did note in her article that the Jets will be adding a third quarterback this week. It remains to be seen who that, presumably veteran presence, will be.

“It Is What It Is” Adds Antonio Brown To Lineup

September 4 is no longer solely Shannon Sharpe’s debut on First Take. Another former NFL pro will also be making their first appearance on a new project. Antonio Brown will be joining the cast of It Is What It Is just in time for the 2023 NFL season. “EVERYBODY ELSE GOT #BREAKINGNEWS WELL WE DO TO… “MR. PUT THAT SH*T ON” @AB WILL BE JOINING #ITISWHATITISTALK FOR 🏈 SEASON, WE TOLD YALL THE TAKEOVER IS ABOUT TO BE PHENOMENAL NEXT LEVEL SHt… #ITISWHATITISTALK #NOBODYSAFE #WESAYWHATTHEFUCKWEWANT #WETHENEWSOURCE #WETHECULTURE,” the show’s Instagram announced on August 25.

It comes after a summer of Brown joking about joining literally sports show and network that suddenly had a vacancy. After ESPN announced layoffs in June, Brown said he was going there. He was actually more seriously rumored to be joining Skip Bayless on Undisputed. But now he’s headed to YouTube to join Cam’ron and Ma$e on their widely-acclaimed show. He should fit right in, as the show skews hard into outrageous behavior and scolding hot takes.

Brown Latest Talking Head To Be Announced

The fall slate of talking heads is filling out nicely. Sharpe will be on First Take to battle it out with Stephen A. Meanwhile, Club Shay Shay has found a new home on The Volume, the sports network founded by Colin Cowherd. Skip Bayless will be joined by Richard Sherman, Rachel Nichols, and Lil Wayne. Undisputed will also get Michael Irwin and potentially Keyshawn Johnson. However, the Johnson move has reportedly been blocked by ESPN, despite the network laying him off in June.

In short, sports punditry has been distilled into its most concentrated form for the foreseeable future. Everyone has moved to a place where their hot takes and screaming will be its most potent. Sharpe v. Bayless will be nothing compared to Sharpe v. Smith. Antonio Brown is about to go nuclear as he joins an environment like It Is What It Is. Meanwhile, Bayless has built a roster of yes men/people who will fight him but not actually challenge his takes. As has been reported, Bayless rejected several potential co-hosts who would have actually stood up to his often outlandish arguments. Buckle in, sports television is about to get wild.
