Blac Chyna, Now Angela White, Says Tyga Was Her Favorite Partner

Angela White, formerly known as Blac Chyna, just came through with what might be a surprising admission for many out there. Moreover, Yung Miami dropped a teaser for her next episode of her Caresha Please podcast, which will feature the model and social media influencer. Amid a lot of laughter and knowing looks, the two discussed who was White’s favorite partner in her life thus far. After some deliberation, she finally landed on Tyga, which could catch many off guard. Furthermore, the former couple got into a lot of feuds after their split, whether for claims of unpaid child support or other less serious antics.

“My favorite that I ever dated…” Angela White began her thoughts, still going over it in her head. Caresha came through to clarify the question. “Somebody who you remember, like, ‘I had a time with him,’” she cleared up. “In that case, Tyga,” White replied. The two giggled for a second before zeroing in on it. “You know, I can feel that, I can see that,” Yung Miami remarked. Boosie Badazz Says Tory Lanez Should Have Taken A Plea Deal

Rapper Boosie Badazz claims that he would have taken a plea deal in the Megan Thee Stallion shooting case if he were in Tory Lanez’s shoes. In December of 2022, Lanez was found guilty of the shooting. Lanez will be sentenced on June 13, facing a minimum sentence of nine years and a maximum of 22 years. In an interview posted yesterday on VladTV, the rapper also claims that Lanez could have gotten less time if he had taken a plea deal.

Boosie said, “If he would have went in there and said he wanted to make a deal, [with] them lawyers he got, he could have been doing time in a facility with damn-near nobody around him.” He continued, “I know a lot of people like that. They was offered 10 years and they didn’t take it. And they end up getting 30.” Going on to share his own experience, he also claims, “I seen it all the time. When I was in [prison] they come in there like, ‘I ain’t doing no 15, mane.’ They end up getting big time. I would have tried to get five years.”

Lanez Could Have Gotten Less Time

Last month, Lanez shared a video on Instagram of a phone call from himself in prison. In the clip, he claims DNA evidence found on the gun used to shoot Megan Thee Stallion should have exonerated him from the crime. The caption of the post reads, “@gasconforlada PLEASE put an end to this INJUSTICE….” It also continues, “Many BLACK AND HISPANIC MINORITIES are falling victim to these same OUTRAGEOUS and DISGUSTING TRICKS and TACTICS. Someone NEEDS to stand up for US! Everyone PLEASE PRAY that the Honourable Judge David Herriford returns me to FREEDOM and a FAIR trial.”

Earlier this month, Lanez’s lawyer, Jose Baez, also posted on his Instagram Story coming to the rapper’s defense. “Mistaken eyewitness identifications contributed to approximately 69% of the more than 375 wrongful convictions in the United States,” he says. The lawyer continues, claiming the cases were “overturned by post-conviction DNA evidence,” he wrote. The post came shortly after Lanez shared an open letter on Instagram claiming that he was wrongfully convicted. The post was captioned, “Until my court date I’ll be posting the OUTRAGEOUS & DISGUSTING INJUSTICES used against me by the PROSECUTION to get the conviction they so DESPERATELY wanted.” He went on to allege prosecution used these tactics against him, “DESPITE the evidence they knew existed.”

Usher Wants To Work With Martin Scorsese

In an interview with The Shade Room posted earlier this week, Texas-born R&B singer Usher revealed his dream collaboration. The singer’s pick was legendary director Martin Scorsese. This came as a surprise to fans, as Usher is mostly known for his musical endeavors, however, he has dabbled in film in the past. Usher appeared in the 2010 film Killers, 1998’s The Faculty, 1999 romantic comedy She’s All That, and more.

In the interview, he also said that he wants to continue to “spread his wings outside of music,” and feels as though Scorsese could help him do so. He added, “as an actor and creative, it’s a lot of really incredible directors.” Usher also shared that he believes we need “more musicals that speak to our idea of what we consider entertainment,” citing the “theatrical” elements of his performances.

Usher Wants To Branch Out

Usher has collaborated with several other musicians in the past, including Young Thug, Juicy J, Diddy, and more. In the same interview, he confirmed that he’s not planning to put out a sequel to his 2004 album, Confessions. He said, “There’s space and opportunity to think of new ideas,” calling the album “a brilliant one.” Adding, “For every producer, writer, and creative that had anything to do with it, we celebrate 20 years of an album.” Discussing the longevity of the record, he said “most people don’t even have careers that last that long.”

Usher’s highly succesful “My Way” residency in Las Vegas has recently featured Queen Latifah, Kim Kardashian, Yung Miami, and more. This past weekend, he also received an honorary Doctorate degree from Berklee College of Music. In an Instagram post shared by fellow musician Jermaine Dupri, he reimagined the lyrics to his 1997 song “Nice & Slow.” He also reminded graduates to, “Be brave,” telling them to “Take what you’ve learned [at Berklee], go into the world, and make great things.” Earlier this month, rumors also circulated surrounding a reported fight between the singer and Chris Brown. Despite claims that Usher was injured in the fight, he later went on to appear unharmed at his Lovers & Friends music festival in Vegas.

While speaking to Shannon Sharpe on his Club Shay Shay podcast on Monday (May 15), Timbaland recalled how Jay-Z and Drake helped him through a very tough time in his life. Not only that, but the legendary producer remarked quite candidly on how their impact was more meaningful than they could ever know.

“JAY-Z is a prophet,” Timbaland expressed. “God sent him. I ain’t never seen nobody like him. Hov actually raised me, and he don’t even know it. He raised me in the music business. He was so prolific, so wise beyond his age, that I was just amazed at just watching him. That’s why I had a different bond with Jay when it comes to my music. We was rewriting the Bible, in a way.” In addition to Hov, he also took the time to thank the Canadian superstar for his guidance.

Nick Cannon Compares Himself To Bob Marley & Muhammad Ali

Nick Cannon is notorious for his large family, but he doesn’t see that as any reason for people to criticize him. In a recent interview with The Los Angeles Times, he addressed his perceived role as a deadbeat dad and recent reports that he pays $3 million a year in child support. “That’s not a lot of money,” he remarked. “When you think about my lifestyle, I have to generate at least $100 million a year… Everybody thinks Ryan Seacrest has tons of money. I do everything that he does times 10. Well, not times 10- times three. Because he does a lot. I’ve been villainized. I hear all the time: ‘You can’t be present for all those children.’ So, therefore, I get this deadbeat dad title.

“Right now, the narrative is, ‘He has a bunch of kids,’” Nick Cannon continued. “But I’m really at a place now where I don’t care what people know. I’d rather just operate. It’s more about really being a good person instead of telling people you’re a good person. I mean, Muhammad Ali had a bunch of kids, and he was the greatest fighter there ever was. Bob Marley got more kids than I got. These are great men.”

In another interview with Jason Lee, the “Wild ‘N Out” host spoke on why his twins with Mariah Carey, Moroccan and Monroe, aren’t on social media more often. “The few times we have let [Moroccan] go, he does it so classy,” Nick Cannon remarked. “They said something about his mom, and he said, ‘Hold up.’ He was on Twitch. Tony Yayo Blasts DJ Vlad For Question About 50 Cent & Ja Rule Beef

When it comes to rap beef, don’t ask Tony Yayo about Terror Squad versus G-Unit. Moreover, DJ Vlad learned that lesson the hard way during a recent interview with him, albeit one of many they’ve done together. As such, to hear the New York rapper bas Vlad so quickly is surprising yet understandable considering how they know how these things go. Furthermore, Yayo stopped the media personality after he asked about the beef between 50 Cent and Ja Rule. He was speaking on E-40’s ejection from a Kings-Warriors game and noting that 50 was also at that game and went on about his numerous deals with NBA Teams.

That’s when DJ Vlad tried to bring that discussion around to the Ja Rule beef. “If Ja Rule came forward and publicly said listen I wanna apologize to 50 Cent and G-Unit X, Y and Z, I was young, you know what I mean? We were all wild–” Vlad asked before Tony Yayo interrupted him. “Vlad, I’m just gonna take it back to the first shut the f**k up,” he clapped back. “Shut the f**k up with that s**t Vlad.”

In fact, Tony Yayo called it the “realest beef” that G-Unit ever acted on. “Yo, the realest beef was with Terror Squad,” he expressed in a previously posted Instagram video. “He was a real n***a, I gotta give it up. The realest beef was with Fat Joe and them. We outside.” Said beef continues to this day, with them recently arguing over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

However, Ja Rule doesn’t really see it as a problem, as he recounted in an interview with The Shade Room. “If 50 Cent was to walk in here right now, what do you think would happen?” he asked the interviewer. After they said “Well, nothing, obviously,” the rapper replied with “Exactly! That’s what I’m saying. We don’t have an issue. We don’t have a problem. Like, c’mon dog. I’m very relevant out here. I don’t have nothing to prove to anybody. I just, you know, I just want people to understand my side. Ice T “So Much More Connected” To Youngest Daughter Than Other Children

Ice T revealed in a recent interview that he has been a better father to his youngest daughter. As opposed to how he has been to his other two children. When the actor and rapper appeared on That Moment with Daymond John, the two discussed his relationships with his three children. He explained how his life circumstances were much different when he had his other children. Subsequently leading him to become “so much more connected” to his youngest daughter, Chanel. He went on to call it “a beautiful thing.”

Ice T describes having his oldest daughter, Letesha, when he was in high school and reveals that he wasn’t around. “I was rippin’ and running,” he explains, “It was presents over presence.” He went on to share how he was just starting to become famous when he had his son Tracy. This caused him to be “distracted” during his childhood. Ice T revealed that by the time he had Chanel with his wife Coco Austin in 2015, he was much better equipped to be a father. He says he was comfortable, and in “a cruise pattern,” consequently allowing him to be a more hands-on father to the now 7-year-old girl. He describes how he was able to go to the hospital with his pregnant wife. Moreover, he shared that Chanel still sleeps in the same bed with them.

Ice T’s interview led to criticism from listeners. Overall, some believe that it’s unfair to his other children for them to have experienced a less-than-ideal father-figure growing up. These commenters think that although the 65-year-old is embracing fatherhood now, he shouldn’t discuss this publicly for his other two children to hear. On the flip-side, other commenters believe it’s natural for him to have made a progression in his parenting abilities. They say that although the star couldn’t be his best with his first two children, he’s in the right for recognizing his behavior and shaping up for his most recent daughter.

The actor shared in a talk with Variety in February how he chose to stop making solo records because “the music got goofy to [him].” He explained that he no longer felt comfortable with the hip-hop genre. Subsequently, this led him to slow down when it came to his musical career.

Logic Speaks On Dad Asking For $1 Million Dollars

In case you have not noticed, Logic has been adamant about being a family man. In January he revealed he and his wife are expecting another child. Additionally, he has opened up about his upbringing frequently. Logic has talked about being biracial with an African American father numerous times throughout his musical catalog. This week, an interview began to surface of Logic speaking on his dad’s monetary wishes.

On May 10th, a Tik Tok was posted by the user “cliynq” showing Logic’s appearance on the Whiskey Ginger w/ Andrew Santino podcast. In the interview posted on May 5th, Logic got candid about his more recent reconnection with his father. He discovered he and his Father both are musicians. Additionally, he revealed his father asked him for $1 million dollars to contribute to his musical plans. “I want a million dollars for my band so we can buy a house and make music in it,” he said paraphrasing the conversation with his father. Logic revealed he declined his father’s request. “Please don’t ask me for money– can we just like throw Fu*cking catch or some Sh*t?” Additionally, he revealed his dad asked for a new car and for him to pay all his bills.

Ice Spice Speaks On Signing To A Major Label

Ice Spice recently sat down with Billboard for an interview, where she detailed the process of signing to a major label. Moreover, the “Princess Diana” hitmaker is currently signed in a partnership deal with 10K Projects and Capitol Records. Despite the usual connotations of a big label deal like that, the Bronx star actually knew her worth and fought for the best deal possible. After all, especially for rising and viral stars, they can get sucked into a deal that ultimately screws them over. However, as she recalled, the decision came after a long process of establishing her potential and scoping out her best possible path.

“I met with a bunch of labels and stuff like that,” Ice Spice began her breakdown of her signing process. “I just felt like 10K and Capitol was the good fit for me.” In addition to her own remarks, her manager James Rosemond Jr. elaborated on the process. “You don’t want to just take any deal, and deals came to her, you know?” he stated. “There was production deals, 360 deals, but it was deals that I know that it can be better.
