Playboi Carti Shares Strange Texts With Kanye West

Playboi Carti and Kanye West are two of the most cryptic and mysterious artists in all of popular music. Both of them can sometimes disappear for long amounts of time and make announcements that don’t go anywhere. Cardi spent the past few years nearly silent on the new music front. But across the second half of 2023, he finally began posting some new teasers about potentially releasing new music. That eventually paid off last month when he began dropping new songs on YouTube. He’s shared a series of singles to the platform though it’s unclear if they are building to a new album or if they will ever make their way to digital streaming platforms.

Kanye West on the other hand reportedly does have a new album, though it’s been repeatedly delayed. The album is a collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign called Vultures which was originally announced and planned for release in December. Since then the album has been repeatedly delayed first being pushed back to New Year’s. The project has been through multiple 2024 release dates already with the most recent pushback putting its release in early February. But now Carti took to Instagram to give fans a peek of what he and West talk about behind the scenes.

“MY BIG BROTHER N*GGA CANT TELL ME SH*T ABOUT U @kanyewest” the caption of Playboi Carti’s newest Instagram post reads. It’s attached to a screenshot of some texts between the two. In the picture Carti replies to something unknown, saying it’s “hard as ever.” Kanye then fires back with a picture of his teeth, highlighted by what looks like a pair of sharpened fangs.

In the comments fans unsurprisingly crack jokes and call for new music. “bro done turned kanye to a vamp,” and “2 men who don’t wanna drop bro” two of the top comments on the post read. Curtis Jackson, better known as 50 Cent, might be turning over a new leaf in 2024. The hip-hop legend has long used his Instagram platform to troll his contemporaries and share his comedic thoughts on breaking news in the industry, much of which paints his enemies in an unflattering light. In particular, the New Yorker’s been putting Diddy’s downfall on blast as he prepares to release an R. Kelly-style docuseries recounting some of his troubling past that’s caused multiple lawsuits to come forward in recent months.

Fif’s profile has been filling up with dapper shots of him dressing to the nines lately, sharing life updates about choosing celibacy so that he remains focused on the task at hand. This has left some pondering if he and Cuban Link are still together, but it’s not the most shocking life change for the “Candy Shop” hitmaker to integrate lately. On Tuesday (January 16), he posed in a grey blazer, black pants, and sneakers while offering up an apology to anyone who’s fallen victim to his past IG rampages.

50 Cent is Moving Differently This Year

“Hey, if I have offended you in [any way], [I’d] like to apologize,” he wrote. “GLG 🚦 GreenLightGang. We can get more done together, 🥷🏾, why we work against each other?” Now, more than ever, Jackson seems determined to bring the industry together in favour of exposing Diddy and other unfair treatment that’s taking place. As you may recall, he rushed to support both Mo’Nique and Taraji P. Henson as they spoke about economic disparity for Black actresses and entertainers.

One person in particular who’s been waiting for an apology from 50 Cent is Young Buck. Ari Lennox Threatens Joe Budden With Lawsuit In Explosive New Rant

Ari Lennox has had an eventful past few weeks. It all started right at the end of November when she was performing as the opening act for Rod Wave on his Nostalgia Tour. The performance seems to be going well enough until one of the fans in attendance throws something, later revealed to be a bottle, at Ari on stage. She claps back hard calling out the person who threw it and even threatening to fight them. The viral moment ended when her microphone was cut off and her performance ended early.

Fans responded to the post largely in support of Ari. Across 2023 there was a strange trend of fans throwing objects on stage at artists. While it was occasionally light-hearted, like when Drake had dozens of bras thrown at him on stage during his tour. But at other points, it was much more hostile even resulting in some injuries to performers. Ari took the situation in stride, hilarious donning a helmet during her next performance in reference to the incident. Then earlier this month, she reflected on her time touring with Rod Wave, which didn’t sit right with everyone.

When Ari opened up on her time on tour she was pretty critical. She claimed that she never felt comfortable and raced through her sets because whenever she tried to affirm the crowd they would just get angry at her. But despite her vulnerable reflection on the tour, some still tried to critique her. Joe Budden in particular used his podcast as a vessel to claim that she should have just been happy to be included on such a big tour.

In a new video responding to his comments, Ari didn’t hold anything back. 50 Cent Wants In On Ice Cube Big3 League

After taking in an NBA game between the Celtics and Rockets, 50 Cent is all in on basketball. However, specifically, he wants to bring Ice Cube’s Big3 league to Shreveport. “I had so much fun at the Boston/Rockets game man,” he wrote in the caption. “I told @icecube I want to bring the big 3 to Shreveport, all roads lead to Shreveport it’s a go!” Fif wrote on social media. The G-Unit mogul recently made the Louisana city his base of operations after operating a major film and television studio there.

Unlike traditional sports leagues, the Big3 doesn’t have home cities. Instead, the league travels from city to city for each game day. However, Shreveport is not an especially a basketball city. It’s primary basketball arena is the home arena of LSU-Shreveport, an NAIA college program. However, it’s possible that Fif would be willing to construct a temporary facility to host the league for a gameday.

Kai Cenat Meets 50 Cent At NBA Game, Asks For Role In Power

However, a desire to get in on the Big3 isn’t the only thing to come out of an NBA game for Fif. Kai Cenat has expressed a desire to appear Power while outlining a recent meeting with Fif. “Then 50 pulled back up, looking directly at me,” he told his viewers. “This n-gga literally puts his hand on my shoulder — ‘Yo brah, take a picture with my little mans real quick; he f-ck with you,’” Cenat claimed of the interaction at a recent Knicks-Bucks game. “I wasn’t in the moment of time of thinking that you were right there in front of me, but I should’ve asked you, ‘Would you let me on Power, 50?’ So I need everybody to get this video to 50,” Cenat added.

Cenat has been making a name for himself throughout 2023 as his star has shone brighter and brighter. This included getting a Christmas present from Ice Spice. The present in question was one of Spice’s branded chia pets. While Cenat was very excited to receive a gift from Spice, he was slightly confused by the gift. After closely inspecting the gift, Cenat declared that it didn’t look too much like Spice at all. Regardless, he was very happy to have received something from the high-profile rapper.

A once-promising rap career has continued to spiral. We are referring to New York-bred artist, 6ix9ine. The eccentric MC of multicultural descent popped off in the late 2010s with his hit song “GUMMO.” From there he proved himself to be a consistent hitmaker. He put the doubters to bed with tracks like “FEFE” with Nicki Minaj and also working with Kanye West, Young Thug, Tory Lanez, and more. However, after 2020, 6ix9ine had a steep decline in productivity due to his legal battles. You can also attribute it to the fact that he was more of a meme than anything else.

It seems that deep down, people only gravitated toward him for his antics and viral clips online. Because of that, the music was perhaps always secondary and the streams were a byproduct of his ridiculous nature. He is low-hanging fruit for a lot of people and it seems that one person is taking advantage of 6ix9ine’s downward spiral. Alofoke is a very popular Spanish radio host of Alofoke FM 99.3. Soulja Boy Scolded By Wack 100 After Advocating For Blueface’s Release

Soulja Boy and Blueface have been embroiled in quite the feud as of late. Overall, the two have been threatening one another with some sort of fight. However, that won’t be happening anytime soon as Blue was recently arrested. Furthermore, the rapper is now going to have to spend six months in jail. Recently, Soulja Boy advocated for Blueface to be released, although he only did so because he wanted his shot at fighting him. He even had a lengthy soliloquy about freedom and how Soulja would much rather be himself than Blue right now.

“What would y’all rather be doing sitting in jail broke or free with millions of dollars,” Soulja Boy said. “Would y’all rather be rich with millions of dollars chilling doing whatever you want to do or would you rather be in jail broke owing $14 million and getting sued? Come on, there’s levels to this. You don’t want no real smoke. They going out sad about Big Draco.” This has subsequently led to some very strong words from none other than Wack 100. Earlier this week reports first emerged that YG and Saweetie had broken up. The pair had been dating for 7 months and details on the situation are still a bit murky. A statement made explaining the situation saw both rappers claiming that they were mutually parting ways. It included statements about how they thought they’d work better as friends and both wanted to focus on their careers. But one particular part of the statement was getting new attention from fans today.

Part of the statement that reps for both artists shared included a part about how they aren’t focusing on finding new partners. That claim was back in the limelight after YG showed up in the comment section of one of Kehlani’s Instagram posts earlier today. The picture she posted is a mirror shot in some kind of gym and the “FDT” rapper used it as an opportunity to shoot his shot in the comments. In the comments, fans took some shots at the rapper for his reply. “Kehlani got a whole girlfriend, YG giving thirsty vibes now,” one of the top comments on the post reads.

One of the most surprising reactions came from Blue himself. Right after turning himself in he dropped a new project called Free Blueface. The project features seven new tracks and a handful of features including Kevin Gates and DDG. Now we’re getting yet another surprising reaction from Blueface about his own arrest. This time he’s claiming to actually appreciate some things about being behind bars. In his original post, Shiesty responded to a clip of Mariah discussing her relationship with Thug. She explained that they’re bond has “definitely” gotten stronger and that they talk every day. He wrote: “Sh*t simple hoe, it get all bad in that pen it ain’t promised we talk every day mf locked down 6 months straight, move around if this ain’t for you this what come with it!” Later, he shared a screenshot of a message he received from Instagram, in which the platform claimed he “threatened or harassed others, or targeted them with content or messages that shame or disrespect them.” He responded: “Sensitive black feet dic eating ass hoes mane f*ck out my dm f*ck you and yo n***a in jail hope they run his ass up, f*ck everybody I’m otw back,” he wrote.
