Last year, ASAP Rocky took to the stage for Rolling Loud Miami and delivered a pretty memorable performance. In addition to him unpacking plenty of fan-favorite songs even amidst cries for new music, he also debuted a pretty memorable fit during the performance. But the fit he wore didn’t just live on in the minds of fans in attendance and watching at home, he also seems to like it quite a bit himself. That’s why he just dropped a bag on a new accessory commemorating the performance.

Celebrity jeweler Alex Moss took to Instagram to share a video of the newest chain Rocky purchased. It’s a BAPE-inspired piece that used impressive detail to recreate his outfit with jewels. The video he shared featured up close videos of the chain contrasted by videos of Rocky’s actual outfit during the performance. In the caption he teases Rocky’s new album DON’T BE DUMB which Rihanna claimed the rapper is still hard at work on. She was willing to reveal that he’s working hard on and new album and is even collaborating with her on her new album. Both musicians have been teasing new releases for years now.

Ice Spice Shares Trailer For New Song And Video

Ice Spice’s debut album Y2K is dropping later this year. It’s the follow-up her breakthrough project, last year’s Like..? EP. She’s already begun dropping singles from the project, starting with “Think U The Sh*t” earlier this year. In addition to the singles she’s also shared a bunch of information and updates on the progress she’s making on the album. That’s led fans to suspect that the project is arriving sooner rather than later. Last month, Spice announced that the record’s next single is on the way.

The record’s second single is called “Gimmie A Light” and Spice has been teasing it quite a bit. Earlier today, she was spotted around NYC with a group of bright pink range rovers. In tandem with that tease she released a preview of the song’s music video which will also presumably drop Friday. In the brief clip she’s seen sporting her iconic hair in both its long and short looks while enjoying herself in, unsurprisingly, a pink range rover. Check out the full teaser she shared below.

Ice Spice’s New Single Teaser

Last month Ice Spice teamed up with Cash Cobain for a remix of his viral TikTok hit “Fisherrr.” They shot a video for the song where the pair take over a NYC Chinese food restaurant. The visuals feature some hilariously timed shots of delicious looking food. That’s the only other single she’s been involved with in 2024 so far though she did drop a song last year.

Fresh off of his smash hit “Calm Down” with Selena Gomez, Rema collaborated with Ice Spice on her song “Pretty Girl.” It’s unclear if “Pretty Girl” was ever intended to ultimately land on Spice’s debut album Y2K. The record still doesn’t have an official release date which is causing some fans to get impatient. Questlove Says “Hip-Hop Is Truly Dead” Amid Kendrick Lamar & Drake’s Feud

Questlove says no one is winning in the war between Kendrick Lamar and Drake and that the antics from the battle show that hip-hop is “dead.” He shared his take on the beef in a post on Instagram, on Tuesday, following a dramatic weekend that included both artists dropping several diss tracks aimed at one another.

“Nobody won the war,” he wrote. “This wasn’t about skill. This was a wrestling match level mudslinging and takedown by any means necessary — women & children (& actual facts) be damned. Same audience wanting blood will soon put up ‘rip’ posts like they weren’t part of the problem. Hip Hop truly is dead.” In the caption of the post, he added: “Here We Are Now…Entertain us?”

Lamar and Drake have been beefing since the release of Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That,” back in March. On the song, Lamar called out both Drake and J. Cole for mentioning him on “First Person Shooter.” In the time since, Lamar and Drake have dropped several diss tracks aimed at one another. Last weekend, the drama peaked when the two dropped “Family Matters” and “Meet The Grahams” on the same night. Through the rest of the weekend, Lamar dropped “Not Like This,” which Drake followed up with “The Heart Part 6.” On the songs, both made vile accusations about one another. The drama has remained quiet in the days since as fans have been arguing over the winner.

Kendrick Lamar’s “Euphoria” Hits Yet Another Impressive Sales Milestone

One thing that’s certain about the Drake and Kendrick Lamar beef is that it’s been a commercial hit. Fans have already streamed “Like That” to a number one debut on the Hot 100. It subsequently spent 3 weeks at the top spot. They also helped both “euphoria” and “push ups” debut in the top 20 in the past two weeks, despite neither having a fill tracking week of sales. Kendrick dropped a track called “Not Like Us” over the weekend that’s off to an incredibly start commercially. The DJ Mustard-produced cut has a much more energetic and catchy flow to it that could translate into huge numbers.

Speaking of huge numbers, “euphoria” is already there. After making its debut at number 11 on the Hot 100 the song is expected to climb even higher next week. In fact, it could go as high as number one where its currently projected in battle with Tommy Richman’s “MILLION DOLLAR BABY” to claim the top spot. Earlier today, the song officially hit 500k copies sold, a substantial achievement for any song much less one that’s barely been around for a week. Unsurprisingly, it’s the fastest solo rap song to reach that milestone in 2024 so far. It’s even faster than Megan Thee Stallion’s “HISS” which debuted atop the Hot 100 back in January.

Kendrick Lamar’s “euphoria” Surpasses 500k Sales

Kendrick’s most recent release “Not Like Us” is also breaking records. In fact, it even broke a record previously held by Drake himself. The song surpassed Certified Lover Boy‘s opening track “Champagne Poetry” for the most streams in a single day among any solo rap song in the first 24 hours after it dropped. It’s not clear at the time whether Kendrick plans to release any more songs addressing the beef.

She’s been cast in an upcoming special performance of the Lion King show that will take place at the Hollywood Bowl. She’s joining an absolutely all-star cast of stage talent to make her debut. Many fans immediately felt like they were having deja vu. That’s because Beyonce’s daughter Blue Ivy recently confirmed that she’ll make her debut acting role in the upcoming second live-action film version of The Lion King. Latto and Brooklyn Nicole have a pretty close relationship and like many siblings there’s a lot of love but also a spirit of rivalry. The two are often seen together usually partying and having a good time. But they also can’t help but take jabs at each other now and again. Even though it’s all love, that was the case in a new video making the rounds online. During a night out the pair are with friends and the “Big Energy” rapper comes up with a new nickname for her sister.

In the clip she calls her “Ms. Shein,” a joke that all her clothes from the notoriously cheap online retailer. It’s a particularly funny crack given that Brooklyn is sporting a Chanel purse. When she tries to defend herself by claiming that not just anyone could get her bag, Latto quips right back that it’s because its not actually sold in Chanel stores. In the comments, fans with siblings understand exactly what the pair are doing. “If u can’t pick on your siblings who can you pick on? 😂” one of the top comments on the post reads. “If you don’t have siblings, just sit this one out. Though she didn’t quite get the same treatment as those stars actually in attendance, she still wanted to show off her outfit for fans. Cardi B Explains Why She Switched From Her Originally Planned MET Gala Dress

Earlier this week, the MET Gala took place in New York. The biggest night in fashion fittingly had the biggest stars in nearly every facet of popular culture in attendance. Though some of the absences from this year’s event got attention, most notably Rihanna and Taylor Swift, there were still dozens and dozens of stars in attendance making waves. Musical stars like Lana Del Rey and Tyla stole the show with their fashion while artists like Ariana Grande, Lizzo, Dua Lipa, Sabrina Carpenter, and Lil Nas X made waves just for being in attendance.

One of the very last stars to walk down the iconic carpet and up the MET Gala’s notorious stairs was Cardi B. She had a stunningly elaborate black dress that took up nearly the entire carpet. But as it turns out the black dress she wore wasn’t always the plan. She took to social media with a behind-the-scenes video of a green alternate that was once planned for the big night. Some fans appeared to like the alternate even more and asked her why she switched it up. “It wasn’t photographing well. It translated different on all lighting and angels on camera” she explained. Tyrese called out Rickey Smiley on Instagram, on Monday, for speaking on Brian McKnight‘s children and their relationship with the iconic singer. After McKnight went viral for saying one of his children was “born out of evil,” Smiley posted a message on social media attempting to reach out in support of the kids. Tyrese says it’s “unfair” for Smiley to weigh in on the family’s “specific dynamic.”

In the caption, Tyrese wrote: “He uploaded the video chiming in to the ongoing issue with Brian McKnight and his family. I’m not addressing Brian or his wife, that’s not my business. I’m just responding to a comment that Ricky Smiley made… Ricky Smiley… It’s gloves off let’s have a grown conversation about these dynamics…” In the video, he added: “There have been specific things done over the years that are nobody’s business that has contributed to where they are… Man, kids out here be saying some f****d up s**t, bruh… Kids out here be going above and beyond to cross you. Gunna Fans Cause Entire Detroit Venue To Shake During Recent Concert

Last year, Gunna delivered one of the biggest rap hits of the year and one of the biggest songs of his entire career. “fukumean” took off the moment he dropped his album a Gift & a Curse. Though the album didn’t receive much promotion and was released amid a flurry of snitching allegations related to the YSL RICO trial, the song took off immediately. During a recent concert in Detroit at The Fox Theater fans showed just how hype the song gets them.

Gunna has been sharing clips from his Bittersweet tour to Instagram but the latest is perhaps the most impressive. The video shows that fans in the balcony seats were vibing with the song to a potentially dangerous extent. The entire balcony platform bobs up and down with the beat of the song leading fans in the comments to speculate that it isn’t the most structurally sound. “Nah that joint is about to collapse” one of the top comments on the post reads. “Detroit yall can’t keep using the same building jackson 5 performed in lol” another comment jokes.
