Drake Shares Heartfelt Letter From Son Adonis On Instagram Story

Drake is a proud dad. Yes, the details surrounding his parentage got off to an auspicious start thanks to Pusha T, but he has been celebrating his son ever since. Adonis Graham has appeared on Drake’s social media posts, as well as his songs. He’s appeared court side with him at NBA games, and even made a cameo in the music video for “8AM In Charlotte.” Adonis Graham is part of the Drake brand at this point, and both Grahams recently celebrated their birthdays. It was perhaps this shared bond that spurred the 6 God to share a heartwarming message from his son.

Drake to his Instagram Story on November 7 to share insight into his life. He posted a letter that his son Adonis had written him. The letter is brief, but the sentiment, especially given Adonis’ age, is very sweet. “Thank you for giving me such a good life,” Adonis wrote. “And a good family. I love you dad.” Drake has discussed his son in song multiple times over the years. “March 14,” the closer to his 2018 double album, Scorpion, was dedicated to Adonis and their relationship. The rapper has talked fatherhood more often in recent interviews, however.

Drake went on Sundae Conversation with Barstool Sports’ Caleb Pressley in 2022. He discussed what it has been like juggling parenthood with his career as a superstar. “Fatherhood,” he stated. “I just mean, in an encouraging way, like, You can always bet on fatherhood. For all the people out there, you can always bet on fatherhood.” Drake also commented on the fact that Adonis has repeatedly complimented him for being a good father. “He definitely is like always vibing out with me,” he noted. “And telling me how great I am as a father, like a single father.” This is definitely supported by the letter the rapper shared.

To further convey the bond between Aubrey Drake Graham and Adonis Graham, the latter interrupted the Sundae Conversation and requested to go to the restroom. It’s nice to see Drizzy take a step back from a seemingly ongoing feud with DeMar DeRozan to focus on family. The rapper was caught mean-mugging the NBA superstar during a recent game, which has sparked widespread debate. Some championed the rapper, others felt he was being sensitive. Which, we mean, it’s Drake. Sensitivity is build into his musical persona.

King Combs Promises “Good Energy” After Taking Over Diddy’s Instagram

The Combs family has been put through the ringer in 2024. Sean “Diddy” Combs has become the most reviled figure in the music industry. Kim Porter, the late mother of Diddy’s children, has had a fictional memoir published about her life. The children have tried to put on a happy face during this difficult time. King Combs is trying to remedy things on his end through social media. Diddy’s eldest son announced that he will be taking over the mogul’s Instagram in an effort to spread “good energy.”

King Combs made this announcement in the form of a video. The rapper decided to assume control of his father’s social media in an effort to cater to his remaining fans. “It’s King Combs and right now I’m taking over my pop’s Instagram,” he announced. King Combs listed off some of the content he plans on releasing, with the explicit intention of repairing Diddy’s public perception. “We gonna be posting videos, spreading good energy and taking y’all down memory lane,” the rapper noted. “All the positive things he did. So, stay tuned and watch this. Let’s go! We love you pops.”

King Combs has been one of Diddy’s most vocal supporters. He attended each of the Bad Boy founder’s court hearings, and reportedly took the time to read the indictment. He also tried to defend Diddy’s name by nearly getting into an altercation with Ray J. Combs and his brothers confronted R&B singer Ray J at a Halloween party in Los Angeles. Nothing physical took place, however. Ray J’s manager and Chris Brown, of all people, broke things up. “That was an unfortunate incident,” the manager asserted. “It was a great party that got ruined by little kids. Trying to fight a big boy.”

King Combs’ desire to see Diddy’s reputation restored makes sense. There are, however, legal matters that the rapper is dealing with of his own. Combs was accused of sexual assault back in April 2024. The alleged victims claims that she was assaulted by the rapper while working at one of his family’s holiday events in 2022. The lawsuit, which did not reveal the accuser’s name, also alleged sexual harassment and infliction of emotional distress. The lawsuit also names Diddy as a defendant.

King Von’s Sister Posts Heartfelt Tribute On Fourth Anniversary Of His Death

King Von’s murder devastated the music world. The rapper was one of the brightest talents to come out of the Chicago drill scene in the late 2010s. King Von and Lil Durk represented an exciting wave of artists who unnervingly authentic in their lyrics. Unfortunately, Von’s authenticity caught up with him, leading to his death in 2020. His legacy is still being celebrated today, however, thanks to his friends, fans and most notably, his family. King Von’s sister, Babyface Sky, took to social media on the fourth anniversary of his death to pay her respects.

Babyface Sky, who also raps, posted a photo of her and King Von when they were children. The image alone would have communicated the sense of loss she’s felt, but she included an emotional caption as well. She admitted that every year since 2020 has been difficult for her. She also questioned how things would have been different had King Von lived to enjoy a full and happy life. “I’ll take having you here over the fame and money any day,” she wrote. “My love for my siblings is different and genuine.” Babyface Sky also said she’s still uncertain as to how to process her tragic loss.

“Idk how to feel, I don’t know how to react,” she admitted. “All I can do is think about the good times we had.” Babyface Sky then reflected on the passing of her grandmother, and how the absence of both her and King Von have made things tough. “I be thinking about you and granny so much it’s crazy,” she said. The rapper concluded her King Von tribute by asking him to continue to “rest “keep resting.” King Von’s other sister, Kayla B, also paid tribute to the rapper via social media. She retweeted video footage of her brother fooling around in a car.

Von may be gone, but his death is still impacting artists today. It’s suspected that Lil Durk’s desire to get revenge for the rapper’s death led to an attempted hit being put on Quando Rondo. The alleged hit led to the death of Rondo’s cousin. Five men were recently indicted in relation to the death, followed shortly by Lil Durk himself. The Chicago rapper is currently being held in Broward County Jail in Florida. He’s been charged with murder-for-hire, and is awaiting trial.

Even with the possibility of spending the rest of his life behind bars, disgraced music fashion and liquor mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs still has his sons riding for him. In what looks like the most recent post on Diddy’s IG post since the entire Combs family wished Diddy a happy 55th birthday, his son Christian has now taken control of his dad’s social media page and letting the people know that even a federal indictment won’t keep the Bad Boy name silent.

Christian, Diddy’s third born who adopted the title “king”, took to Diddy’s Instagram page to let his almost 20 million followers know that he will know be manning the ship on Diddy’s most visible social media page. Check out King Combs’ announcement HERE

There was a lot of backlash from the public for King’s social media post, which is simply captioned, “Tune in!” There were some critics, however, that saluted Christian for standing by his father amid the heinous allegations.

Nevertheless, there were scores of commenters who weren’t feeling ANYTHING coming from Diddy’s page, even if it wasn’t coming from Diddy himself.

50 Cent Insists His Frequent Instagram Trolling Isn’t Personal: ‘It’s Me Just Having Fun’

50 Cent is perhaps the biggest troll in hip-hop today, especially when it comes to Instagram. He frequently uses the platform to send jabs, but he insists that even though it may ruffle some feathers, it’s primarily all in good fun.

During a recent appearance on Hot 97, Ebro asked, “How much of what we see when you trolling people on Instagram is real dislike, and how much of it is just having fun because you like trolling?” 50 responded, “I’m preconditioned from behaviors that you guys have exercised in front of me. I’ve watched you. I’m doing by version of Ebro on my Instagram. That’s it, it just not politics, it’s a little more cultural. But look, none of that is really personal. It’s me just having fun.”

Meanwhile, 50 recently revealed he turned down a $3 million offer to perform at a rally for now-president-elect Donald Trump, saying, “I’m afraid about politics. You understand? I do not like no part about them… It’s because when you do get involved in it, no matter how you feel, some one passionately disagrees with you. That’s the formula for the confusion that sent Kanye to Japan. He said something about both of those things — and now he can only go to Japan.”

Lil Tjay Blasts Kai Cenat And “Racist” Adin Ross For Exploiting Rappers

Lil Tjay is fed up. The rapper decided to stir the pot by calling out streamers Kai Cenat and Adin Ross for exploiting hip hop culture. Lil Tjay not only insulted the streamers on his Instagram Story, but proceeded to give fans additional context after him and Ross had a DM exchange. The rapper also decided to stick up for Kodak Black, following Kodak’s controversial appearance on a Cenat stream. Many fans believed that Kodak should not have been featured by the streamer, given his intoxicated appearance.

Lil Tjay started off with a very direct shot. He posted a screenshot of Kodak Black and Kai Cenat from their aforementioned stream. He also included a brutal message. “I fake hate this kid,” he wrote. “Him and [Adin] the biggest d riders in life.” It was only a matter of time before the streamers responded, and Lil Tjay made sure of this by sliding into Adin Ross’ DMs with more insults. He called the streamer a “d*ck sucker,” which prompted a confused response. “Me and Kai always show nothing but love to you,” Ross posited. “Gotta stop taking them percs that sh*t f*cking with ya head.”

Lil Tjay did not appreciate Ross’ response. The rapper decided to hop on Instagram Live and speaks directly to fans regarding the situation. “I told Adin he a culture vulture, he told me I’m on percs,” the rapper claimed. “I don’t take percs, don’t take drugs.” Tjay proceeded to call Ross a “racist” for his drug-related comments. “F*ckin’ racist n**ga,” he added. “I look like I take percs because I’m black, right? I know.” Lil Tjay claims that he sent Ross a voice memo detailing all the issues he has with him, then claimed that Ross refused to listen to it.

Tjay then turned the focus towards Kodak Black. “Stop looking at Yak like he a weirdo,” he asserted. “No, sometimes that’s how rappers act. In our society, that’s how we act.” He then doubled down on the claim that Adin Ross is a racist and a “culture vulture.” The bulk of Lil Tjay’s issues seem to be with Ross, given that few of his comments seem directly aimed at Kai Cenat. He also alleged that Ross uses people to get to the top, then throws them away for the next popular rapper. Ross has yet to respond to these damning remarks.

Vybz Kartel Proposes To Girlfriend After Getting Engaged In Prison

Vybz Kartel was sentenced to life in prison in 2014. The dancehall legend was looking at spending the rest of his days behind bars, and yet, he got engaged. He proposed to Sidem Öztürk while still locked up. Now that his sentence has been overturned, however, and he is a free man, Vybz Kartel decided to do it the right way. The Jamaican deejay posted a heartfelt video to Instagram on November 4. He decided to surprise Öztürk with an official engagement ring and a proper, down on one knee proposal. She loved it.

Vybz Kartel can be seen flashing the engagement ring to the camera before walking into a hotel room and getting on one knee. Öztürk seemed genuinely shocked by the proposal, and the two share some very romantic on camera. Vybz Kartel decided to share some more information regarding the proposal courtesy of his IG caption. “You were there when I needed you most and I’ll never leave you baby,” the musical icon stated. “I cherish all the times you came to visit me and told me that it’s going to be ok. I cherish all the times we spoke on the phone and in real life in the box.”

Vybz Kartel also confirmed that he has now proposed to his fiancee in prison and in real life. “We laughed together we cried together and now we celebrate together,” the artist added. “You’re my best friend and my companion and I pray to God we stay together for as long as I Live. I love you.” Vybz Kartel and Sidem Öztürk linked up for the first time in 2015. The former claimed that Öztürk found him by “stalking” the IG account of his baby mama’s account. She was, evidently, committed to tracking down the so-called man of her dreams.

Öztürk provided additional context during an August interview with OnStage. She claimed that she was an enormous fan of Kartel’s music, and she just found herself drawn to him. “I found him very handsome so you can kind of call it an obsession,” she admitted. “I thought he was the most perfect man for me and walking the Earth, so I just really wanted to meet him and get to know him.” Well, Öztürk’s feeling proved to be correct. The two have been together for a shade under a decade, and are now happily engaged.

PARTYNEXTDOOR Confirms Drake Album Is “Getting Finished” Soon

We’re getting close. PARTYNEXTDOOR and Drake shook day one OVO fans to their core when they announced plans for a joint album in August. The 6 God came out during a PND show and confirmed that fans will have something to listen to come the fall. Well, the fall has been here for a bit, and there’s still no word on the album. Drake has gone radio silent. PARTYNEXTDOOR has continued to tour. Thankfully, the latter gave fans a much-needed update on November 4.

PARTYNEXTDOOR hopped on Instagram Live to confirm that he will kick the album into high gear once he gets off tour. “I have one more show on this tour,” he explained to fans “And then the album is getting finished.” It’s the most concrete update fans have gotten in months, and it tracks with what we’ve been told previously. PARTYNEXTDOOR claimed that the joint album will feature 15 songs. OVONoel, a veteran member of Drake’s team, also gave fans a hint as to what to expect during an October appearance on The Fry Yiy Show.

PARTYNEXTDOOR Promises To Finish The Album ASAP

“You guys know what’s coming for you,” OVONoel told the host. “Party and Drake have a classic. We trying to put the finishing touches on it.” The fact that finishing touches have yet to be applied a month after OVONoel’s comments is not the most encouraging sign. That said, PARTYNEXTDOOR’s tour does make sense as a reason why. The singer has been traveling the world in promotion of his last album, PND 4. It was during this tour, actually, that Drake came out and dropped the bombshell about their plans.

It’s encouraging to know that PARTYNEXTDOOR is getting into album mode. Drake has been very public over the last few months, but not in a musical capacity. The rapper celebrated his birthday, and spoke to a Toronto crowd about feeling betrayed. He also attended a Toronto Raptors game where he stared down and openly taunted opposing player DeMar DeRozan. The latter took Kendrick Lamar’s side in the 2024 rap battle, and appeared in the “Not Like Us” video. It’s obvious Drake still feels a way about it. Here’s hoping he can channel his energy into making a great R&B album.

Rihanna Claps Back At Fan Who Questions Her U.S. Residency

Rihanna is not a citizen of the United States. The pop superstar is one of the most famous Barbadians in modern history, and she’s celebrated this aspect of her culture in her music. She is, however, living in the United States, and a mother to two sons who are citizens. Rihanna decided to joke about her lack of U.S. citizenship during a recent Instagram post. Rihanna took a video of herself in the car and described it as an example of her trying to sneak into the polls to vote with her eldest son’s passport. She then dropped the hashtag “#votecauseicant.”

The post was well-received by fans, with many praising the singer’s decision to encourage her U.S. fans to vote. One Instagram user, however, took things in a different direction. The user kristopher_jordan hit up the pop star and questioned why she’s allowed to live in the United States. “How TF can you live here and been living here,” he asked. “If you aren’t a U.S. citizen?” Rihanna, without missing a beat, fired back at the user and wrote: “taxes dummy.” She also included a shrugging emoji, mocking the one that Jordan used in his initial message.

Rihanna is famous for her social media clap backs. She has gotten into heated exchanges with fans and other celebrities alike, and usually comes out on top due to her blunt responses. The pop superstar has also made it known she would vote for Kamala Harris if she could. In the same IG post in which she joked about using her son’s passport, Rihanna included the hashtag “#tansuitseason.” This is a subtle nod to the suit color choices of Barack Obama, as well as Kamala Harris during her presidential campaign.

Furthermore, Rihanna’s Instagram caption made it clear that she was in favor of women’s rights. She voiced her support for Harris’ promise to restore reproductive rights after Donald Trump announced his plan to overturn Roe vs. Wade. “When protecting p**sies and firing p**sies can happen all in one vote,” she wrote. This is not the first time Rihanna has shown her support for Kamala Harris. When Joe Biden won the presidency, and Harris won the vice presidency, in 2020, the singer celebrated via Twitter. “The faces of history makers, boundary breakers and winners,” she asserted.

50 Cent Cuts Ties With Starz Over Network’s Diddy Interview Series

50 Cent has done a lot for the Starz brand. He provided the network with one of its biggest shows to date, Power, and has provided them with various spinoffs as well. 50 knows how to concoct marketable television. Unfortunately for the network, the G-Unit mogul has decided to take his business elsewhere. He posted screenshot of a TV show announcement dating back to 2022, and proceeded to call out the network. The show in question involved Diddy. And as we all know, 50 Cent does not tolerate anything in relation to Diddy.

50’s screenshot features Diddy and Fat Joe. The Deadline article that accompanied the screenshot stated that the New York rappers were set to star in an interview show for Starz. The show didn’t have a title, but it did have star power. It also had the backing of LeBron James’ production company, SpringHill. It did not matter that the Starz deal was struck two years ago, though. 50 Cent was put off by the fact that the network hadn’t canceled the show on the heels of Diddy’s recent charges. “This is a sh*t head move for Starz,” 50 Cent wrote. “I have no idea why they wouldn’t clean this up but I’m not selling any new series to this network.”

50 Cent then proceeded to tag Cognac and Fat Joe. “This is why I said I’ll wait to do the show,” he added. It’s a power move (pardon the pun) to severe ties with a TV network on principle. That said, 50 Cent already has some small screen alternatives cooking up on the side. The rapper inked a deal with the production company Lionsgate in August to launch a channel called 50 Cent Action. It will feature a mix of Lionsgate content and access to the entire Power library.

50 Cent also launched G-Unit Studios this year. The studio will serve to expand the film and television output of 50’s existing production company. It’s worth noting that the rapper ended his deal with Starz in 2023, citing unhappiness with the way the network promoted his shows. “This is me packing my stuff,” he wrote. “My deal is up over here I’m out. If I told you how much dumb sh*t I deal with over here.” The tension between 50 and Starz was already high, but it looks as though the Diddy connection was the last straw.
