50 Cent Takes Fans Behind-The-Scenes Of His New Studio In Shreveport

For many rap fans, the most notable thing 50 Cent has done in 2024 is post on Instagram. The veteran rapper makes posts about all kinds of things but across the past 6 months or so he’s honed in on one particular topic, Diddy. The rap mogul has had a rough year as years’ worth of allegations have been made against him by former collaborators and romantic partners. In addition to the allegations, he’s also under investigation by the federal government. They raided two of his properties in Miami and Los Angeles back in March alerting the public to the investigation in the process.

The entire time 50 has rarely gone more than a day or two without posting about Diddy. The posts have come in a variety of different forms. They’ve featured everything from videos of people making allegations about Diddy to old photos of various celebrities alongside him, updates on his pending documentary about the situation and even AI-generated images. His attacks have also extended to almost anyone else mentioned in any of the lawsuits. In particular he took aim at Meek Mill because of his inclusion in Lil Rod’s highly-contested suit against Diddy. But now he’s shifting focus to use his Instagram for a different kind of post. For his newest Instagram post 50 showed off a new film studio that’s due to open later this year. “sneak peek at the insides of G-Unit Studios, shh I’m working. All roads lead to Shreveport August 8th till the 11th hold the date” the caption of the post reads. The pictures show off a sleek interior of the studio, which makes heavy use of marble throughout.

Diddy’s Former Makeup Artist Alleges She Heard Him Abusing Cassie First-Hand

In the past few months, things have gotten worse and worse for Diddy. It started last year when Cassie filed a lawsuit against him alleging she was abused. That became the first in a series of lawsuits that continued up until last week when he was hit with yet another one. Though the Cassie suit was settled quickly it rushed back into the minds of fans earlier this month after CNN leaked a video. The video they shared was hotel security camera footage that shows an alleged example of the abuse Cassie reported facing.

Now even more details about him and Cassie are emerging and this time its from first-hand testimony. The story is being provided by Diddy’s former makeup artist Mylah Morales. During a recent interview with CNN she claimed that she once overheard the rap mogul abusing Cassie. Her story details even event happening all the way back in 2010, a full six years before the hotel security footage. Morales claims that they had a loud argument which concluded with Cassie getting a black eye. Check out the clip of her sharing her story below.

Fans following the story online are anticipating a federal indictment coming soon. CNN additionally shared details earlier this week about security camera footage reportedly showing a male prostitute inside Diddy’s house. They also claim that he could be a potential witness in a federal case against the rap mogul. Fans became aware of the ongoing investigation into him back in March. That came after two of his properties in Los Angeles and Miami were raided by the federal government. Whether or not he will be found guilty of anything is still a hot topic of debate among fans.

Teyana Taylor Responds To Fans Thirsting Over Her Cop Uniform Photos

Teyana Taylor is viewed by plenty of music fans as one of the most gorgeous stars in any genre. That means she’s probably pretty accustomed to fans acting thirsty over her online. Sometimes that even includes fellow celebrities. Earlier this month fans called out rapper YG for pulling up in the comments of one of Taylor’s posts. They criticized him for the move since he’s already dating his fellow rapper Saweetie. But at some point even Taylor reacted to the fan responses in a series of new tweets.

It started with a recent Instagram post Taylor made to Instagram. In the series of photos she’s dressed in a cop outfit and leaning up against a police car. Though she’s more covered than some conventional thirst traps, that didn’t stop fans from eating it up. “He said lady what’s ya number? …… I said 911 ” the caption of the post reads. Unsurprisingly the comments of the Instagram post are absolutely full of excited fans, but that wasn’t even where Teyana ran into the most noteworthy responses. In a series of tweets Teyana reacted to some of the more audacious fan responses. One tweet confesses specific details to a (hopefully) made up crime in order to get her attention. She replied with a quote tweet that read “it’s getting out of control.” Another fan claims to have robbed an old lady just to get her attention, to which she responded with a series of laughing emojis. Fans followed the hilarious interactions as she shared more quote tweets throughout the day.

Recently, Finesse2Tymes took to social media where he revealed that he finally got his driver’s license for the first time. This is an interesting development for him as he is 32 years old. For most, it is rare to get your driver’s license later in life. However, as the artist explains, he didn’t have time to get a driver’s license when he was young. Instead, he had to hustle to make a living and get by.

Latto Responds After Being Body-Shamed For Her BBL

Overall, Latto is one of the most exciting new acts in hip-hop. Throughout the past few years, she has delivered some incredible singles, and her projects have managed to live up to the hype. Consequently, she has been booked and busy on the festival front. For instance, recently, she got to perform at the TwoGether Land Festival in Dallas. The artist was understandably proud of her performance and posted a clip from it on her Instagram page.

Unfortunately, some people decided to be especially negative about the artist. More specifically, some people were body-shaming Latto for having a BBL. Overall, this type of parasocial behavior is becoming more common than ever before. Some social media lurkers have absolutely no shame and will comment on someone’s body unprovoked. That said, Latto is not someone to mess around with. She has been known to respond, and sometimes, she does so in a way that is both subtle and effective.

BIA Hints At JID Feature On Her Upcoming Single “Lights Out”

BIA has been building an excellent career. She signed to Pharrell’s label in 2014, and since then, she’s landed coveted collabs with the likes of Kali Uchis and J Balvin. The remix to her 2021 single, “Whole Lotta Money,” featured a fun verse from Nicki Minaj and peaked at number 16 on the Billboard Hot 100. BIA is the real deal, which is why fans are so excited about the possibility of collaborating with another established talent: JID. She posted a video of her and JID conversing, and now the world desperately wants them to link up on a song.

BIA posted the video on May 28. The singer is on the set of a music video with a green screen. She’s talking with makeup artists about the set up of a particular shot, and who else but JID wanders into the frame. The rapper is impressed with what he sees, calling it “fire.” BIA then gives him a hug before she hits her mark. The video is brief, but it definitely seems like BIA is teasing JID’s involvement in her new song. She announced the release of her single “Lights Out” on June 7. The general consensus (or hope) is that JID will be featured on it. He’s even listed on the song’s Genius page.

BIA has aimed to get the focus back on her music since the social media controversy that went down in April. The singer was accused of lying about her lineage. Fans began to question her ethnic background, which led to her firing back with proof. “U still don’t know the difference between race and ethnicity,” she tweeted at a user. “B*tch pick up a book. It’s called Afro Latina stupid.” She also dragged those who tried to suggest she was not Black. “Are you really that slow,” she asked. “How did biracial ppl even get here? Do you know what Puerto Rican are? African Taino and European. There are Jamaican Indians you f*ckin idiot pick up a book.”

JID, meanwhile, is riding a critical high. His last release, The Forever Story, was hailed by many as the best album of 2023. He’s teased a collaborative project with Metro Boomin, and he told People that he wants to get involved in filmmaking. “Like I can recall a lot of situations that meant a lot to me and were pivotal in my journey,” he told the outlet. “I’ll do that. And I’ll probably put it in the form of a movie, too. I’m big into directing and all of that stuff… I want to make sure I tap into that before my time is.”

DDG Shares Adorable Videos Of His Son Learning How To Jump

Halle Bailey and DDG’s surprise pregnancy was one of the biggest stories of early 2024. Though the couple tried to keep their impending baby a secret, there was tons of speculation online in advance of the child’s birth and those speculating were ultimately correct. Though Halle later clarified the reasons behind her secrecy it was her sister Chloe who was the loudest voice refuting rumors during the actual pregnancy. She found herself in hot water with some fans for criticizing them for speculating even though they were ultimately right.

Since the birth of Halle and DDG’s son, it’s been a parade of adorable parenting moves. Firstly they revealed that the baby’s name was “Halo” something that Halle confessed that his father originally came up with. Back in March, the two parents shared an adorable video of their reaction to the baby’s first words. Now they’re going viral once again for another one of Halo’s firsts. YG Puts “Scandalous” People On Blast As Fans Try To Uncover Who He’s Talking About

YG is fresh off of a new single where he called out other rappers for being weird. The song is fittingly called “WEIRD” and it’s the third single from his upcoming mixtape Just Re’d Up 3. The mixtape is part of a series as its name would suggest, but newer fans of the “FDT” rapper will be forgiven if they haven’t heard of the trilogy before. The original mixtape dropped all the way back in 2011 and the sequel a few years later in 2013. Both predate his breakthrough project My Krazy Life, which he’s celebrating the 10-year anniversary of this year.

Now YG is continuing his recent trend of calling out his contemporaries with a new series of Instagram story posts. The first post called out “scandalous” people and concluded “when yg start trippin tho they gon say he trippin.” In the second post he calls out one specific individual, though doesn’t mention them by name. He follows that up by saying that he’s “slappin sh*t all summer.” Fans are mixed on what to make of the posts. Some speculate, or rather joke, that he could be talking about his girlfriend Saweetie. Some fans suspect that one particular lyric from “Weird” references Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s beef. Nicki Minaj Discusses Her Feelings During Her Arrest In Amsterdam

Nicki Minaj has had many eventful weeks so far in 2024. The first was when she found herself embroiled in a beef with Megan Thee Stallion. Meg threw out a diss aimed at Nicki’s husband on her song “HISS.” Minaj responded by manically retweeting her fans posts online constantly for multiple days and eventually dropping her own response track “Big Foot.” Since February, she’s made weekly news for the stops on her Pink Friday 2 tour which have often featured attention-grabbing surprise guests.

But this week may have been her most eventful in a long time. It started over the weekend when Nicki was arrested in Amsterdam for alleged drug charges. Videos of her interactions with police in the country made the rounds online as her fans took issue with her treatment. Once Minaj was released she was even more critical of the police’s behavior on social media. She was released from custody a few hours later and given a fine. Eminem Unveils The Release Date For New Lead Single “Houdini”

Eminem has really been putting effort into the rollout of his new album. The Death of Slim Shady was announced the day of the NFL draft, and came complete with a mock true crime show about its titular character. An obituary was printed in Em’s hometown of Detroit, and now, the rapper has enlisted the help of magician David Blaine. Eminem released a promo on social media in which he Facetimed Blaine and announced the release date of his upcoming single.

The promo is a little more complicated than that premise might sound. Em rings Blaine up and gives him his due as the greatest of all time (magically speaking, of course). The magician then suggests they team up on something. Eminem asks how far they could go with magic, and Blaine responds by walking up to a table, drinking a glass of wine and then eating the glass. Eminem looks unimpressed. He’s got something more ambitious in mind. “Well for my last trick,” he tells Blaine. “I’m going to make my career disappear.” The magician is dumbfounded, but Eminem hangs up before he can explain. We then get a hard cut to a release date for the single “Houdini.”

“Houdini” will be released on Friday, May 31. The promotional material for The Death of Slim Shady, and the title itself, suggested that Eminem would be laying his alter ego to rest. His comments towards Blaine suggest that the album may mark his last, however. The rapper has been frank about talking retirement in the past. He walked away from music for five years in the 2000s, and he admitted he was unsure how much longer he could rap during a 2010 interview with Vibe.

“I don’t know how much longer I have in this game,” Eminem told the outlet. “I’m always going to love hip-hop. But how much longer am I going to still do it? I couldn’t give you an answer. But the day that this is not better than the last will probably be the day I stop.” The rapper claimed he would always record his raps, but would cease to put them out after a certain point. ” I know it always makes me feel better to lay things to tape, and — ‘lay the tape.’ See, I’m old school,” he noted. We may be looking at the final stage for both Eminem and Slim Shady. If so, then “Houdini” will truly mark the beginning of the end.
