Jim Jones Declares Drake Dipset’s “Official 5th Member”: Video

We love to see legends supporting legends. For his long-awaited weekend of performances at the Apollo Theatre, Drake didn’t keep the stage to himself. Rather, he used the shows as an opportunity to give flowers to a few of his favourites. Specifically, The Diplomats, who joined him two nights in a row, were honoured.

On Thursday (January 26), Jim Jones took to Instagram to celebrate the past week’s amazing event. In the video he posted on his feed, the Canadian hitmaker is seen sporting a Dipset logo jacket. At the same time, Cam’ron and Juelz Santana’s “Oh Boy” plays loudly in the background.

“@champagnepapi official 5th member of #DIPSet,” the New Yorker wrote in his caption. “[You] did [that], [thank you]. Bless up to the whole #OVO.”

As HipHopDX notes, the Harlem venue heard The Diplomats and Drake perform some of their biggest tracks. Among them were titles like “Dipset Anthem,” “I Really Mean It,” and “We Fly High (Ballin’).”

On night one, Drizzy changed Cam’ron as he donned the style icon’s famous pink fur coat and matching hat. Later that evening, Jones went all out by gifting his Canadian friend a custom OVO x Dipset bracelet.

As his guests left the stage, the father of one reminded his audience, “These guys right here from Harlem made us dress different, talk different, walk different, rap different — all the way in Canada.”

On night two (January 22), Drizzy flaunted another major wardrobe flex, stepping out in The Diplomats U.S. flag jacket previously seen in Killa Cam’s “Get ‘Em Girls” visual. Santana and Jones also showed off their style chops, rocking custom Jeff Hamilton-designed Dipset x OVO jackets.

Aside from entertaining the Apollo crowd alongside Drizzy and his Dipset crew members last weekend, Jones also had the opportunity to chop it up with New York mayor Eric Adams at the concert.

03 Greedo Asks Media To Stop Calling Him An L.A. Rapper

When it comes to hip-hop media and news coverage, people try their best to remedy mistakes and avoid them. However, especially when it comes to how to represent other artists, slip-ups happen and should be treated with respect and proper care. Moreover, 03 Greedo took to his Instagram story to ask media outlets to stop referring to him as an L.A. rapper.

Of course, that’s technically the case, but the 35-year-old specifically reps the neighborhood of Watts. Furthermore, Greedo still made his love for the greater Los Angeles county clear.

“To all the media people’s,” his post began. “Yes. love California and the county of Los Angeles. And will bring my area to the top of the game this year. BUT I Am Not From LA!! (The city) NO!! I am From Watts. So La Rapper is not how y’all finna introduce me cuz.”

To be fair, such a mistake is one that even this writer made in previous reports. Still, it’s heartening to see Greedo speak his truth and clarify things as he gears up for a big year. While the conditions behind his release are murky, he still recently confirmed that he’s out of jail. However, things are easier said than done.

“Yes, I am free from prison but I am still not completely out,” he wrote. “For anyone confused I am in a halfway house for up to 6 months with a five minute phone call a week. Where I am I just want to see my daughter and record music. I wish I could have released alot more music while I was away. So, I have this chip on my shoulder to just go record n drop at least 12 tapes before my major album and I honestly just don’t want to talk to alot of people yet. I got a lot I want to clear in my head first.

“So, if I’m not recording with you or laying with you, I’m not inna rush to talk after damn near 5 years,” he continued. “Just being honest! Salute to the GeeHive and all my supporters, I love you. Thank u for keeping me alive while I was incarcerated. Yours Truly, Cheeto.”

Ashanti’s Bikini Body Is On Full Display In New “Bahama Mama” Thirst Traps

Some R&B starlets, like Chloe Bailey, chose to launch their first sultry snapshots of the year in the first few days of January. Others, like Ashanti, made their followers wait a few weeks before showing off their bikini-clad bodies for the ‘gram.

Earlier this week, the 42-year-old revealed via social media that she’s on the vacation of a lifetime. “Started 2023 off with a bang!!!” she previously wrote in the caption of her commemorative video/photo dump. “Super blessed. Super grateful. All positive ENERGY all year, let’s goooooo!!!”

On Wednesday (January 25), Ashanti’s vacation content markedly continued. This time it became more salacious as her oiled-up, toned figure posed in a blue printed bikini. “Bahama Mama,” she wrote in the description, referencing the location of her luxurious trip.

As if that didn’t already have her fans obviously drooling, on Thursday (January 26), the New York native kept the thirst traps coming in hot and heavy. “Heavy on the gratefulness,” was the message she shared with today’s uploads.

Throughout the collection of images, Ashanti soaks up the sun on a lounge chair outside. She also strikes various poses in her bikini, making sure the photographer catches all of her best angles.

Several friends have already been gassing her up in the comments. “Vacation queen baby,” Tamar Braxton praised the black-haired beauty. Trina, Slim Thug, Vivica A Fox, and Jeremih also gave the “Foolish” singer (and her body) their flowers.

Besides tantalizing the masses with her thirst traps, Ashanti has also been speaking out about some injustices within the music industry lately. Specifically, she’s shared her thoughts on the sexual harassment that takes place, stating that other artists wouldn’t be able to tolerate the things she has throughout her career.

LeBron James Restrained After Heckler Makes Fun Of Hairline

After losing to the Los Angeles Clippers 133 to 115 on Wednesday (January 25), a heckler bashed Lakers star LeBron James for his hairline. In fact, LeBron looked quite frustrated in general after 48 points on his end and yet another lost game. Still, it’s no reason for fans to harass him at his games, as it’s the kind of hate that you don’t want to clap back to.

Overall, LeBron is quite used to the heckles and jokes, and he’s answered such jabs with one of the all-time greatest NBA careers. However, it’s a lot easier to mitigate hateful comments online, especially not in your home court. Moreover, an unidentified fan scolded the 38-year-old for his hair.

“Hey, Brown, you better get this s**t together,” they screamed, “with that receding a** hairline!” Upon that phrase, James noticed the fan and stopped in his tracks to address him. However, a referee held him back by beckoning him beyond the court. “Look, he’s mad, look at him! You sick,” he continued before laughing and turning the camera away. What’s more is that people called for him to stop during the clip.

As such, many on social media brought in jokes of their own or called out this toxic behavior. “Not this giggle at the end… sir sit down and eat them nuts,” one user wrote via Instagram. Another commented, “Can ppl come to your job and harass you? Especially after a tough day at work, yall would be ready to scuffle too!” Meanwhile, other people treated it as dirt on LeBron’s shoulder. “If the only problem he has is a hairline s**t life is good!!” one user wrote.

Moreover, the NBA superstar aims to break Kareem Abdul-Jabar’s scoring record for the regular season, and he’s dangerously close. Most recently, however, he commented on his son Bronny’s college aspirations and what team he might land on. Reportedly, he’s between Oregon, USC, and Ohio State.

“I think Bronny can go to any college he wants to,” LeBron expressed. “All I have to do is pick up the phone. If Bronny says he wants to go there, he’s good enough.”

Russell Wilson had himself a pretty awful season with the Denver Broncos. It was one of those seasons that had people hitting Wilson with some hilarious memes. Overall, the Broncos looked pitiful and they even had to fire their head coach after just a few games.

If you are a Wilson fan, you are essentially begging for him to bounce back next season. After all, he is a QB who is very much capable of being MVP-caliber. Although, it is going to take a lot of hard work for him to get back to his output with the Seattle Seahawks.

Luckily, Wilson has a stable home life that allows him to have some support. The offseason has already begun for Russ, and he has been working out with his family. This includes his stepson, who just so happens to be Ciara and Future’s child.

The younger Future has showcased a ton of interest in football over the years. He has worked out with Russ on occasion and has shown some prowess in throwing the football. Now, however, he appears to be making a case as a ride receiver. Down below, you can find a video in which he makes numerous one-handed catches. Consequently, Wilson had to note that Future “has crazy hands.”

Future is still very young, so he won’t be able to make that much of an impression just yet. However, if he continues to get this kind of training, perhaps he will find himself at a good college, much like his step-father. Subsequently, we could very well see him in an NFL jersey.

Puma Curry Responds Backlash From Viral Picture With Her Mom Erykah Badu

Puma Curry responded to recent backlash after she and her mother, Erykah Badu, shared a photo on Instagram that many claimed wasn’t appropriate.

Puma Curry, Badu’s 18-year-old daughter, shared several images in tight pants to the ‘Gram but the focus was on their backside. Many quickly called out Badu. Some felt as if it was an inappropriate image while others applauded the mother and daughter.

Overall, the negative comments outweighed the positive ones, and Puma Curry, who seemingly has a future in music, addressed the situation head-on. In another post on her Instagram, she questioned what the real issue was before inviting a discussion.

“I posted a pic (not my mom)of me and my mama Badu in some cute, form-fitting pants. I’m an adult,” she wrote. “What’s the real issues? Let’s discuss.”

Some people began to further add their two cents into the comment sections. One commenter felt it was weird to see the mother-daughter duo showing out together on the ‘Gram.

The post caught the attention of Erykah Badu, who liked it and commented, “well…,” underneath. Puma Curry’s father, The D.O.C also slid in the comments to echo the exact same comment as Badu. He added, “I chose my battles carefully,” after acknowledging that Puma is a “good kid.

Later on, Erykah Badu shared Puma’s response to her Story, writing, “case closed.” Then, she shared the photo to her page. “This the pic u posted got ’em uncomfortable,” she wrote. “Wait till y’all see our insides (heart, mind, spirit$).”

Evidently, neither of them are entirely fazed by what the internet had to say about the pic.

Iggy Azalea Teases OnlyFans & Her “Hotter Than Hell” Project

Iggy Azalea shared a pair of new photos promoting her OnlyFans and “Hotter Than Hell” project on Instagram, Monday. The Australian rapper joined the platform earlier this month in the build-up to her fourth studio album releasing this summer.

In her latest post, Azalea writes, “Sneaky look at what @shazdidthis has been working away at for my Hotter Than Hell project. Link in bio for more Art etc. it’s all living on my Onlyfans page!”

Subscriptions to Azalea’s OnlyFans currently cost $25 per month. The membership provides first-look access to content from “Hotter Than Hell.” According to reports, she brought in upwards of $305K in her first 24 hours on the platform.

While Azalea previously mentioned having no desire to join OnlyFans in years past, she explained how she changed her mind in a recent statement provided to Variety.

“Admittedly, I never knew OnlyFans was a place where I could be creative, so I didn’t expect to be collaborating with them on my biggest project to date!” Azalea said. “Once I looked beyond the surface-level chatter about what it means to have an OnlyFans, I realized it was the perfect platform to launch a multimedia concept on. I feel excited about not having to worry about the overwhelming and creatively limiting censorship artists have to navigate when sharing work on other digital platforms.”

She’s also stated that the mixed-media project is inspired by “the supermodels of the ’90s, Pamela Anderson, the conception of the centerfold model, sexuality and its differing viewpoints between men and women, and Madonna’s ‘Sex’ book.”
