Chloe Bailey first rose to fame alongside her sister Halle in an R&B duo fittingly called Chloe x Halle. The pair released two albums, capped off by 2020’s critical darling Ungodly Hour before going on hiatus as a pair. While Halle shifted her focus to acting she eventually returned to music with her Grammy nominated single “Angel.” That followed the release of Chloe’s own shift towards solo music which resulted in her full debut solo album In Pieces. But earlier this week she made a revelation about her lifestyle that had fans shocked.

Chloe Bailey has long professed to being vegan and advocating for the lifestyle. She’s been a vegan for a full 11 years now and it took her that entire time to break and eat some meat again. She revealed in a newly recorded video that she isn’t strictly vegan anymore. “I’m about to spill some tea. You wanna know my confession. My confession is that recently, I have been consuming chicken,” she says in the clip. She reveals that it was an adjustment at first with her getting stomach cramps the first time she ate it. That set her up for a 2024 where she can score hits all on her own. Her solo single “Get It Sexyy” peaked inside the top 20 and is still hovering in the top 30 of the Hot 100 this week. But that astronomical rise to fame has also given rise to a rough adjustment period as she deals with some of the less glamorous parts of being famous.

One of the things that’s clearly bothering her are fans insisting that they see her children more often. She took to Instagram with a profanity-laced rant calling them out directly this week. “Why is ya’ll worried about my kids? They right here, they cool, they fed, they good. Go have some kids and worry about them dirty ass b*tches,” she says in the video. Though it’s actually one of her children that first takes issue with her statement. Her own son is with her while she’s recording the video and chastises her for swearing so much in the video. “Okay im sorry. But they be pissing me off. Instead of saying some kind words about her, White delivered a disgusting IG post in which he had nothing but awful things to say.

“This young lady is from my city, I’m very familiar with her rap success and it wasn’t a success! I mentioned her situation years ago, she was a FUCK TOY with talent who hardly put out music but posted a lot of social media pics!” White wrote. “If someone die doing what they like to do (getting high) then why should anyone be sad for that person? She died a dopefiend just like the rest of them in the music industry! I told y’all they was just fucking on her and wasn’t putting no music out!”

Charleston White Has A History Of These Kinds Of Posts

White’s IG comments were immediately filled with fans who were mortified by his brazenness. “Damn unc chill man, I can’t ride wit you on this one. Im sure she never disrespected you or had any ill feeling towards you. Take this one down og it’s too early for allat , she definitely was loved out here,” one person wrote. “This shit foul as hell fam, no matter what. You just posted your daughter graduating at 15. God forbid she don’t turn into the same shit you talk down on. This ain’t it UNC,” said another. If one thing is for certain, it’s that no rational person is siding with White here. Hopefully, he learns from the backlash, moving forward.

Yung Bleu Calls Out Boosie Badazz For Being Obsessed With Him

Yung Bleu and Boosie Badazz used to be on the same team. The former signed to Boosie’s record label Bad Azz Music Syndicate in 2020. He even released a statement claiming he was “Badazz for life.” This turned out to be untrue. Yung Bleu walked away from the label and signed with Empire Records the same exact year. Boosie did not appreciate the flip. The two rappers have been beefing ever since, with Boosie claiming that Yung Bleu has used the beef to help promote his albums. Things reached a boiling point on June 12.

Yung Bleu hopped on Instagram to absolutely blast Boosie Badazz for his claims. He criticized Boosie and went as far as to suggest that he’s the one who’s been using the beef to keep his relevant. “Boosie got my n*ts in his mouth every interview that n**ga obsessed,” the rapper wrote. “I dropped a rap album with one week promo and no singles just to get out of my deal and did 17x more than you.” Yung Bleu got even meaner with the rest of his rant. He mocked Boosie Badazz for being over the hill, and claimed that he could no longer book shows the way he used to. “I’m not arguing with a n**ga only barely get booked in 100 miles out Mississippi.”

Yung Bleu Claimed Boosie Couldn’t Sell Tickets Anymore

Not blunt enough? Don’t worry, Yung Bleu had more. He called his former label boss a “lame” and went after the man’s living conditions. “U better hope a storm don’t come and knock them cheap a*z paper thin a*z condos in your backyard down,” he wrote. “N**ga got a motel 6 at his house shut up.” It’s the year of the hater, per Katt Williams, and Yung Bleu is making sure fans don’t forget. He eviscerated the rapper so severely that commenters actually came to Boosie’s defense. “[Boosie] put in soooooo much work,” one user wrote. “You could never downplay his work ethic.” Another pointed the impact that Yung Bleu has had compared to Boosie. “Bleu,” they commented. “We not picking you over Boosie lol… ever.”

In Bleu’s defense, he did try to resolve things peacefully. So he said, at least, during an April interview with Sway In the Morning. The rapper claimed that he tried to terminate his contract while still keeping a good relationship with Boosie Badazz, but felt that their squabbling reached a breaking point. “Now it’s just like, nah,” he told Sway. “I feel like it’s over, that era for me over. I put it behind me.” Boosie has not yet responded to Bleu’s Instagram rant, but if we know anything about the Louisiana rapper, it’s that he will have plenty to say.

Drake Unveils His New $15M Texas Ranch In Stunning Photos

Drake is really entering a new phase of his life. His battle with Kendrick Lamar is over, as far as we can tell, and he’s dedicated himself to “summer vibes.” He’s dropped a baffling cover of “Hey There Delilah” and a Sexyy Red duet. Drake’s latest decision, however, may be his most significant. The Toronto rapper has decided to purchase a sprawling, $15 million ranch in Washington County, Texas. He announced the purchase in May, but he finally unveiled the ranch on his Instagram on June 12.

Drake’s photoshoot is moody as one would expect from the king of captions. There’s photos of him outside the ranch, which is called the Inn at Dos Brisas, and photos of him inside. Fans get a peek at Drake’s horses, as well as the stables in which they’re kept. They also get to see him look forlorn and contemplative inside his vehicle. The caption simply reads: “wick ’em.” It’s unclear what this means in the context of the Inn at Dos Brisas. It does, however, harken back to Drake’s 2023 song “Wick Man,” which throws subs at several other rappers. The song also sees the 6 God make reference to several international locations.

Drake Has Settled Down In The Lone Star State

Drake has been hyping up his Texas purchase for months. In September 2023, the rapper posted a video in which he announced his plans to buy property. He even adopted a Texas accent for the bit. “Me and my partna’, we done gone country on y’all,” he told fans. “We said we was gonna do it for a lot of years and we’re doing it today. The sale is made. We gotta drop a new one for this. If you see your girl at the ‘Lover Boy Lane,’ it’s over.” ‘Lover Boy Lane’ is, of course, a reference to Drizzy’s album Certified Lover Boy. Fittingly, the album contains the song “TSU,” which is an abbreviation for Texas State University.

Drake has always had a soft spot for Texas. One of his breakout songs mentions Houston in its title, “Houstatlantavegas.” The rapper has paid tribute to H-Town on “November 18th” by sampling a DJ Screw record and shouting out regional legends. There’s also the iconic “9AM In Dallas,” the planned opener for his debut album. It kickstarted the timestamp series that Drake is still riding out to this day.

Kehlani has been one of the loudest voices speaking in support of the people of Palestine in all of entertainment. It’s been a controversial subject since October of last year when long-standing tensions between Palestine and Israel erupted into full-on conflict. Now the R&B singer backed up her vocal support with a massive financial donation not just to Palestine, but to Sudan and Congo as well. Last month, she released the second single from CRASH, “Next 2 U” and its accompanying music video. She also launched a merch line in tandem with the release designed to raise money for Operation Olive Branch. Megan Thee Stallion has had one success after another in 2024. She scored a number one single with her diss, “HISS,” she won her court case against Tory Lanez, and she’s been killing it on tour. In fact, the rapper recently set the record for highest-attended show at Madison Square Garden by a female rapper. Megan Thee Stallion is A-list, and she took time out from her busy schedule to show love to her fans on Instagram. She also found time to address some criticisms that have been leveled at her in recent weeks. Particularly those made by Charlamagne Tha God.

Megan posted a list of her favorite things that happened on tour. They ranged from getting flowers to performing alongside her backup dancers. The point that immediately jumped out, though, was a not so veiled dig at Charlamagne. “Ima pop my sh*t for a second lol,” she wrote. “But people questioned if I was an arena artist anddd I mean [shrug emoji] teehee.” She doesn’t mention Charlamagne by name, but he’s clearly the target, given the doubt he cast on Megan’s stardom back in May. He flat out claimed that she wasn’t an “arena artist” and his co-hosts agreed. “I mean, if she’s doing arenas, she shouldn’t be doing arenas,” he stated. “She’s not an arena artist. Salute to Megan Thee Stallion but she’s not an arena artist, maybe a theater artist. But not yet.”

Megan Thee Stallion Proved That She’s An “Arena Artist”

The comment generated a wave of backlash, though, with many claiming that Charlamagne was not giving the rapper her due. To Charlamagne’s credit, he retracted his statement. A day after his “not an arena artist” comment was made, he apologized to Megan and her fans. “Clearly we got our answers,” he stated. “She sold out 13 arena stops in over 240K tickets across North America and Europe. Yeah so if you’re selling out arenas, you’re an arena artist.” Charlamagne’s Breakfast Club co-host, Jess, then urged fans to keep supporting Megan Thee Stallion.

Megan is used to the doubt. The rapper told L’OFFICIEL that she struggled mightily with the criticisms she received after the Tory Lanez case, in particular. “I felt so awful every day,” she stated. “It was such a hard place to get out of. I don’t even want to care who hates me, really. What I should be focusing on is the love that I do receive. That’s what I’m trying to get better about now.” Megan’s latest Instagram post is clearly an example of new focus. She may have thrown shade at Charlamagne, but she made sure to bring it back to her fans. “I have more people to thank and more moments to make,” she concluded. “But I love everyone who has been making this tour amazing so far! Thank you.”

Nicki Minaj has been having a bit of a rough time around her European tour. The most noteworthy incident came last month when she was arrested in Amsterdam. Videos of her arrest made the rounds online which caused fans to speak out on behalf of Minaj against the treatment she received from police there. When she was later freed she took to social media to further explain the ways that she had been victimized. The ordeal caused her to half to cancel a show in Manchester and the second show she had scheduled for Amsterdam, though the former was eventually rescheduled.

This time she’s in Paris, where many a celebrity in the past has had run ins with the notoriously aggressive paparazzi. In fact, the reputation of the press there may have something to do with why Nicki Minaj’s security reacted to hostile to someone trying to take pictures of he there recently. Video made the rounds online earlier this week of an interaction between a photographer and Minaj’s security. They use various tactics like shining flashlights, standing between her and the camera, and even getting physical to put some distance between them.
