Overall, Sexyy Red is an artist who has certainly proven to be a bit controversial. This is mostly due to the NSFW nature of her songs. As many of you know, she is rapping about sex, her body, and various other topics that can be seen as offensive. However, her songs are catchy and she has made quite a few hits in just a short amount of time. Over the past year, she has ascended the ranks and is considered one of the hottest women rappers out right now.

While Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, and Megan Thee Stallion were all known for being open and honest about their sexuality, there is no doubt that Sexyy Red took it to a different level. In fact, other artists are now following suit as Sexyy’s wave is what’s popular. Consequently, Sexyy Red is seemingly feeling slighted by the sheer amount of clones she’s seen. So much so that she took to her Instagram story and wrote “I’m you hoes blueprint & I’m gettin sick of it.”

As you can see, there were no names mentioned in Sexyy’s post. Instead, she simply included a bag of hot Cheetos and a plushy shaped like a penis. Regardless, there is no doubt that the artist is feeling some type of way right now. That said, when you are a pioneer in your craft, people are going to want to copy you. Imitation can be the highest form of flattery.

In addition to celebrating Takeoff’s birthday on Instagram, Quavo also spent Tuesday hosting the inaugural Rocket Foundation Summit at the Carter Center in Atlanta. There, he spoke with Vice President Kamala Harris about gun violence. “It’s super hard every day. I’m still crying. I’m still grieving. I’m still mourning,” Quavo said at the event. “Just to look behind me and see that I got the VP and guys like Greg Jackson and other survivors that actually fell victim to the same thing, I know that I’m not alone. This is my second calling. This is very personal to me. That’s what makes my drive and motivation to go even harder.”

In doing so, she shared a picture of the iconic actor with their children and wrote: “Will thank you for being a devoted girl dad/boy dad and doing all you do. Happy Father’s Day … you deserve the rest.” In the photo, the family surrounds Will as he appears to be asleep.

“The love that everyone around him has for him speaks volumes for the type of guy he is,” one fan commented on the post. Others brought up the success of Will’s newest film, Bad Boys: Ride or Die. The Father’s Day post comes after a rough stretch of time in Jada and Will’s relationship. Ahead of the release of her 2023 memoir, Worthy, she revealed that she and Will privately separated in 2016 without plans to divorce. She later clarified that they had since made amends following their appearance at the 2022 Academy Awards.

Drake Seemingly Trolls Kendrick Lamar With Father’s Day Post

Drake seeming threw shade at Kendrick Lamar with his Father’s Day post on Sunday. While sharing pictures of himself, his son, Adonis, and his father, Dennis, Drake wrote: “Three generations. Happy Father’s Day to the ones guiding their daughters and sons.” Lamar infamously attempted to call out Drake for having a daughter on his diss track, “Meet The Grahams,” although the Toronto rapper denied the accusation. Lamar didn’t provide any proof for the claim either.

“Dear, baby girl, I’m sorry that your father not active inside your world / He don’t commit to much but his music, yeah, that’s for sure / He a narcissist, misogynist, livin’ inside his songs / Try destroy families rather than takin’ care of his own,” Lamar raps on the track. Two days later, Drake fired back with the polarizing, “The Heart Part 6.” On that song, he claimed to have fed Lamar false information to bait him.

Lamar was the first one to kick off the feud while appearing on Future and Metro Boomin’s song, “Like That,” earlier this year. From there, the two each dropped numerous diss tracks over the span of several weeks. Eventually, Lamar went back-to-back with his releases of “Meet The Grahams” and “Not Like Us,” prompting many fans to give him the edge in the battle. Drake then fired back with “The Heart Part 6” to mixed responses.

Megan Thee Stallion Previews New Song And It Sounds Like A Hit

Megan Thee Stallion has the magic touch right now. She kicked off the year with a number one single, “HISS,” and she’s been notching one stellar guest verse after another. She’s also dropped two top 40 hits in anticipation of her upcoming album, Megan. “COBRA” and “BOA” were solid showcases for her rapping and musical sensibility, but it sounds like her next single might just be another smash hit. We don’t know what it’s called, but it sounds great.

Megan Thee Stallion teased the song via Instagram on June 14. The teaser had some production value, with a bunch of dancers twerking in what looked to be a tour bus. Megan is nowhere to be seen, at first, but she comes in and immediately grabs the spotlight. The lyrical content is exactly what you think it’d be for a Megan Thee Stallion song. That being said, the instrumental and the sample are ridiculously catchy. You can tell Megan knows she has a potential hit because she takes a few lines off and just lets the beat ride out. The aforementioned sample is taken from “Booty Me Down” by Kstylis. This snap era banger is the perfect nostalgia play too, given that the song came out in 2012.

Megan Thee Stallion’s peers loved the track, and made it known in the comments. GloRilla and Flo Milli both gushed over the untitled single, with the former writing: “Yessss I luv dis song.” Both artists worked with Megan in the past, and Flo Milli even rapped alongside Megan (and Latto) on the remix to “Sunday Service.” Megan Thee Stallion is clearly riding high, and enjoying her massive success right now. She’s praised her fans on social media, and even thrown shade at her detractors by asserting that she’s big enough to be playing stadiums.

The vibe of Megan’s next album is positivity. After the stress of the last few years, and the scrutiny she’s been under, the rapper is focusing on having fun. “I’m really not focused on the negativity on my album,” she told Rolling Stone. “I have a lot of different songs on the album because my emotion doesn’t stop at anger. My emotion doesn’t stop at sadness because I did grow and I did start feeling more things. I started feeling really happy.” It’s showing in the music. Megan comes out June 28.

Enchanting’s Manager Delivers Beautiful Statement Following The Artist’s Tragic Passing

Enchanting passed away earlier this week, and there is no doubt that fans are incredibly distraught over it. Overall, this new came out of nowhere. Firstly, it was reported that she was on life support. However, the following day, it was reported that she had passed away. It was an incredibly sad story to report, especially when you consider how the artist was only 26 years old. Since the news broke, family, friends, and fellow artists have put out messages of love, noting just how amazing Enchanting was.

According to No Jumper, Enchanting’s manager has put out a statement on her passing. “If you really knew Chant, you know her personality was larger than life, she was a whole vibe and owned every room she walked in. Chant was one of the most loyal and beautiful souls we have ever encountered,” the statement reads. “In December of 2023, we were blessed to get the opportunity to sign BIG CHANT to Change the Game Records. June 16, 2024 was the date set to tell the world.”

Her manager also noted that she has a vault that is filled to the brim with tracks. Boosie Badazz Puts Yung Bleu On Blast With Hilariously Bitter Rant

Boosie Badazz likes to fight. He’s spent the last two decades attacking other rappers and saying things he knows will anger the public. Sometimes he apologizes, but most times he doubles down and mocks any person who tries to mount a defense. Yung Bleu falls under this category. Boosie Badazz and Bleu have been beefing ever since the latter left Boosie’s record label. Things took a more serious turn on June 13, when Bleu insulted his former label boss on Instagram. It didn’t take long, though, for Boosie Badazz to respond.

The Louisiana rapper absolutely unloaded on Yung Bleu. He responded to every insult that Bleu had for him and made him look foolish. “N**ga don’t get mad cause you ain’t booked every weekend across the country like your CEO lol,” he wrote on Instagram. “Do u even have shows? U stop your tour cuse you couldn’t sell out theaters.” Bleu previously made a crack about Boosie Badazz being washed up and playing local shows, but it obviously backfired. Bleu also tried to make fun of the apartments that are situated on Boosie’s property, claiming they’d fall down if a strong wind came through. Boosie had a response for this too.

According to the veteran rapper, Yung Bleu actually lived in those “motel 6” quarters until he could afford a place of his own. “You stole my money [and] went put down on your first home,” Boosie wrote. “So we coming move n next week since you squatting n our sh*t.” The rapper’s tirade continued, and he got the kids involved. He offered to come by and have his kids help Yung Bleu’s son learn to count. “Maybe my kids can come over n help yo r**arded a*s son count to five,” Boosie brutally asserted. “Go wipe all that damn slob up off your floor before y’all fall down n hurt yourself.” Brutal.

Yung Bleu’s initial blow up came a desire to separate himself from Boosie Badazz’s label. He accused the rapper of talking about him interviews, and even claimed Boosie was “obsessed” with him. The two men clearly have different takes on the situation. In Boosie’s estimation, Yung Bleu has maintained relevance by constantly bringing his name up. He said as much during an interview with DJVlad. “I feel like he’s flopping because the world knows I’m a real person,” he said. “The world knows that one thing Boosie [is] going to do is keep it real.”

Bebe Rexha Claims She Gave G-Eazy His Only Hit In Scathing Rant

Artists can’t seem to stop feuding in 2024. Drake and Kendrick will go down as the biggest battle of the year, but every week there’s a new disagreement between artists. Bebe Rexha and G-Eazy were not on our bingo board for the next rap-related beef, yet here we are. Rexha put the Oakland rapper on blast on June 13. She not only took credit for helping to put G-Eazy on, but alluded to knowing things about him that would damage his public reputation.

The diss came about when Bebe Rexha was asked to film media content alongside G-Eazy. She not only refused, but she mocked the rapper for not reaching out himself. “@G-Eazy you have my number,” she wrote over a text screenshot. “Why don’t you text me and ask me yourself you stuckup ungrateful loser.” It only got meaner from there. Rexha commented on G-Eazy’s recent resurgence, and suggested that it could all fall apart if she decided to share her experiences. “You’re lucky people are liking you again,” she wrote. “Cause I could go in on all the sh*tty things you’ve done and how you treated me after giving you your only real hit.” The cherry on top? A formal no to the initial request. “Btw,” Rexha added. “The answer is no.”

The hit that Bebe Rexha is referencing is 2015’s “Me, Myself & I.” It was the lead single on G-Eazy’s fourth album, When It’s Dark Out, and proved to be his commercial breakthrough. The song peaked at number seven on the Billboard Hot 100. It was the biggest hit of both artists’ career. Rexha’s claim that she gave G-Eazy his only hit is not entirely true, however. While she has scored an even bigger hit with the number two single, “Meant to Be,” G-Eazy managed to top the success of “My, Myself & I” as well. His 2017 single “No Limit” peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100.

Rexha’s IG rant is worlds away from the praise she heaped on G-Eazy in 2017. She told HipHopDX that the two of them actually had great chemistry and quite a bit in common. “It’s interesting, we’re like the same person,” she claimed. “We both love music. I think we’re just kind of on the same wavelength when it comes to just wanting to be iconic. Working with him is just such an incredible energy and chemistry.” Obviously something transpired between the two artists behind closed doors. Time will tell if the rest of the world finds out what it was.
