Gervonta Davis Shows Up To Super Bowl In A Wheelchair

Gervonta Davis continues to be one of the best boxers in the entire world. Pound for pound, Davis is feared by his biggest opponents. Overall, he has an undefeated 28-0 record. Moreover, he is co-signed by some of the biggest legends in the history of boxing. One such person is none other than Floyd Mayweather, who knows a thing or two about being undefeated. Simply put, Davis is in a great position to be successful for years to come.

Moving forward, Davis is currently in talks for a fight with Ryan Garcia. This match has been in the works for quite a while. Although there is a tentative date set for April 15th, the fight papers have not been officially signed. However, Garcia is certainly eager to get in the ring with Davis, especially since they have beef. Not to mention, it would be huge for Garcia to be the first person to beat Davis. Needless to say, this is a potential fight that fans are excited about. Unfortunately, it may not happen as Davis appears to be dealing with an injury.

Gervonta Davis Speaks

According to TMZ, Davis was spotted at the Super Bowl in a wheelchair. As you can see in the clip above, he was being wheeled around the venue as the Chiefs took on the Eagles. However, when approached by cameras, Davis said that it wasn’t a big deal and that he will be fine. That said, there is no telling what this could actually mean for the potential fight against Garcia. If it is an ankle injury that requires a lot of rest, then that April 15th fight date will have to be delayed.

If you are a boxing fan, this news is definitely going to be concerning. Although, young athletes tend to heal fast, so perhaps Davis can get in the shape he needs. Either way, Davis will remain one of the best boxers in the world, and we cannot wait to see how he performs in his next fight. Let us know what you think will happen in a fight between Davis and Garcia, down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the boxing world.

LeBron James Injury Begins To Elicit Real Concern

LeBron James had a huge game with the Los Angeles Lakers last Tuesday. For those who may not remember, LeBron was playing against the Oklahoma City Thunder with the scoring record in mind. Overall, it was a very emotional night for the entire team. However, James came through with an amazing 38-point performance that ultimately gave him the record. This was one of the biggest moments in LeBron’s entire career, and it is a testament to his longevity in the sport.

Unfortunately, Lakers fans have not seen LeBron in the lineup since breaking the record. Immediately after his record-setting night, he decided to sit against Milwaukee. For the most part, fans just thought that he was taking part in some load management. Although, it has become clear that his injury is more than that. In fact, LeBron has officially missed three games in a row, and now, fans are worried about what is going on.

LeBron James Out

According to a report from Marc Stein, LeBron James has actually been dealing with this injury for quite some time. It is even to the point where it is “unbearable” for James on some occasions. “I was told that Tuesday’s game, the record-breaking game, I was told LeBron was severely struggling with that foot injury he has,” Stein wrote. “It’s something that’s been nagging him for a few weeks already, but it gets to point where it just gets unbearable. He plays through it. And people that talked to me said he was really struggling with that foot.”

This is going to be a bit of an issue for the Lakers, moving forward. LeBron has their MVP this season and without him, they probably won’t make the playoffs. Consequently, that will be two years in a row without a postseason appearance for the purple and gold. Let us know what you think of all this, in the comments down below. Mahomes suffered the injury to his ankle late in the first quarter after being tackled awkwardly. He stayed in the game to finish the drive, but Chad Henne later replaced him. Mahomes eventually returned in the second half but was noticeably playing hurt.

After the game, Mahomes told reporters: “It feels better than I thought it was going to be now. Obviously, I have a lot of adrenaline going right now, so we’ll see how it feels. But I’ll hop right in the treatment and try to do whatever I can to be as close to 100% by next week. Luckily for us, we played the early game on Saturday, so we get an extra almost half a day that I can let that ankle rest.”

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid added: “Let’s just see how it goes here the next couple days. It’s going to be sore, I know, but let’s see where he is at. He’s had this before, and he was able to keep pushing through.”

The Chiefs will be taking on the Bengals on Sunday, January 29, at 6:30 PM.

Drake Thanks Atira NYC For Healing His “Piece Of Shit Ankle” Ahead Of Apollo Show

Even though he delivered two impressive albums – Honestly, Nevermind and Her Loss – in 2022, live performances from Drake have been few and far between as of late. The father of one had one of the biggest performances of his career scheduled for the Apollo late last year. Ultimately, he postponed in wake of Takeoff’s tragic death.

As fate would have it, the rescheduled concerts were later changed once again, this time due to “production delays.” Some were worried we would see another cancellation. However, Drizzy himself confirmed that he’ll be performing this weekend in a recent Instagram post.

On Thursday (January 19), the Toronto native dropped off a photo dump on his feed, beginning with a candid snapshot of him rocking a YSL sweater. “Thank you Atria NY for the best health care experience I have ever had,” he wrote in the caption.

The following photos show the treatment facility where Drake was receiving medical treatment for an injury. “Let’s see what I can do on this piece of shit ankle Saturday,” he added, seemingly promising an exciting show coming our way.

In the comment section, friends of the rapper’s couldn’t help but poke fun at his feet. “Showww dat lil bunyonnn!!!” Odell Beckham Jr. teased. “Big ankle ahhhh.”

Michael Rubin also chimed in, doubling down on Drake’s praise of Atria. “There is nothing better,” he agreed. “Now if only Alan can bring us good luck in the casinos, he’ll really be the best!!”

Aside from his unfortunate injury, things have been going well for the 36-year-old as of late. He recently welcomed the first female artist, Naomi Sharon to his OVO Sound label with the arrival of her “Celestial” and “Another Life” singles.

Additionally, Champagne Papi shared a music video for his “Jumbotron Shit Poppin” track earlier this week. Central Cee, Mike Tyson, and Lil Baby all appear in the clip that sees the Canadian wearing over $3.3M in jewelry.

Kevin Durant To Undergo MRI After Knee Injury

Brooklyn Nets star forward Kevin Durant will undergo an MRI on Monday morning after suffering a knee injury on Sunday night. Durant hit the floor during the third quarter of the Nets’ game against the Miami Heat.

As Jimmy Butler went to the rim, he collided with Ben Simmons and fell awkwardly onto Durant’s knee. The Nets star writhed in pain on the floor for a few moments but remained in the game.

After going up and down the floor, the team took Durant out of the game. The Nets called timeout and Durant went straight back to the locker room. He didn’t return for the rest of the game.

“I was right there. Those plays are scary,” Nets guard Kyrie Irving said after the game. “Because when someone’s not looking [at] what’s going on, anything can happen in those moments, so I’m grateful that all that time he’s put in the weight room, putting his body in a great position, his body was able to save him from something worse.”

“He’s in good spirits as we all are,” Irving further said of Durant. “The strength of our team is us picking each other up. Just being ready for whatever’s thrown at us. … I think one of the greatest qualities of our team is our bench and the way we support each other, despite who’s in the lineup. And now it’s time to go out and exemplify that until we find out the timeline with K and when he could be available again. So we just got to be mature about it.”

Durant didn’t speak with reporters after the game. The Nets are currently 27-13 after winning 18 of their last 20 games.

According to the latest updates from the Buffalo Bills, Hamlin is breathing on his own and able to speak to family, doctors, and teammates. The starting safety FaceTime’d his teammates, earlier this week.

“To hear him talk to us, it was everything, and that’s what we needed. Literally, that’s all we needed,” Bills offensive tackle Dion Dawkins said of the moment.

Hamlin originally collapsed during a game between the Bills and the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night. He suffered cardiac arrest and needed to be transported to a nearby hospital, where he was sedated and placed on a ventilator.

While the Bills’ game against the Bengals will not resume, the team will take on the Patriots, this Sunday. During the matchup, the Bills will wear “3” patches on their jerseys. Damar Hamlin’s Family Is “Frustrated” By Criticism Of Tee Higgins

Damar Hamlin’s family is reportedly “frustrated” and “mad” about the criticism being made of Tee Higgins. The Bengals wide receiver tackled Hamlin on the play that sent him into cardiac arrest.

“This isn’t supporting Damar,” Rooney said about the online backlash. “If you think you’re supporting Damar by bashing Tee, you’re not supporting Damar.”

Rooney added that Higgins has already reached out and is in contact with the family while Hamlin remains hospitalized.

“All signs point to him being a great human being who genuinely cares and feels bad, and the family feels bad that Tee would have any guilt towards the situation,” Rooney said.

Dallas Cowboys’ Micah Parsons has also come to the defense of Higgins in the days since Monday night. He labeled the hit “a freak accident” on Twitter in response to criticism of Higgins.

Hamlin went down in the first quarter of the Bills’ game against the Bengals. After receiving medical assistance on the field, he was rushed to a local hospital. The NFL postponed the remainder of the game and has not announced when it will be rescheduled.

As of Wednesday, Hamlin remains under intensive care at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. The Bills say that he has shown “signs of improvement” since Monday night.

Hamlin’s family is currently running a GoFundMe campaign that has raised over $6.5 million since its inception.
