Amber Rose Lists Ice Spice & GloRilla As Dream Collabs, Blames Men For Female Artist Drama

It’s been nearly 24 hours since the 65th annual Grammy Awards began yesterday (February 6). Somehow, the internet is still catching up on the evening’s biggest moments, from the hottest looks on the red carpet to the juiciest celebrity interviews. In terms of the latter, Amber Rose spilled plenty of tea while chatting with Hollywood Unlocked ahead of the show.

For her saunter down the “runway,” the model donned a stunning black dress, also covering her eyes with signature black oversized sunglasses. The bottom half of her gown was sheer, subtly exposing her leg, and she wore sparkly silver heels to finish the look. Elsewhere, Rose added cutout gloves and bulky chains around her neck.

As per usual, she looked fabulous and confident. While chatting with reporters she exuded the same energy, dishing about her dream collaborators and thoughts on female rap beef. “If somebody were to hop on the remix with you for ‘Surprise Me,’ who would it be?” the mother of two was asked last night.

“Oooh, oh my goodness. I would like Ice Spice,” she gushed to the outlet. “I like GloRilla too though,” she quickly added, shouting out the southern superstar. Nothing has been confirmed, but now that both up-and-coming stars know of Rose’s interest in them, we could hear something come together down the line.

The Philadelphia native also teased the possibility of an appearance on Jason Lee’s new podcast. “I have to mentally prepare first,” she joked about sitting down with the media personality. On the bright side, she did agree to be his Grammys date, which is a strong first step.

Later in their chat, Rose made it clear that “[she] don’t wanna date nobody” right now. “Don’t be in my DMs, don’t bother me, I’m good. I’m happy, she told viewers. Finally, the 39-year-old answered a question about female artists, such as Rihanna and Beyoncé, so often being pitted against one another.

“I think men decide that,” Amber told Hollywood Unlocked. “The patriarchy! Men don’t do that, like, maybe Biggie and Tupac. But other than that? Every man continues to flourish,” she went on. “I feel like, when it comes to women, it’s Cardi B and Nicki, or Beyoncé and Rihanna. Just let everyone be great and support and love them for what they do.”

As far as collaborations go, Ice Spice has been killing it lately. For her own Like..? EP, the Bronx-born rhymer worked with her good friend Lil Tjay on “Gangsta Boo.” More recently, she joined Pink Pantheress for “Boy’s a liar Pt. 2,” the remix of the English singer’s popular title from her Take Me Home EP.

Ice Spice Joins PinkPantheress For “Boy’s a liar Pt. 2” Collaboration: Listen

It’s still relatively early in her career, but Ice Spice continues to achieve milestone after milestone. Not only did the New York native share her highly anticipated Like..? EP last month, but now she’s also got a collaboration with PinkPantheress under her belt as well.

On Friday (February 3), the “Bikini Bottom” hitmaker joined the ethereal songstress on “Boy’s a liar Pt. 2.” The single is a remix of a prior release. It previously appeared on PP’s Take Me Home EP in late 2022.

“When it comes to collaborations, I’m quite picky. I always want someone who can match me well on a track,” the English multi-talent told NME of her new arrival with Spice.

“Even though Ice does drill, her flows are super unique and the beats she chooses are different. A lot of people would struggle with the beats I choose, but I knew she’d be good for it,” Pantheress later added.

For her part, the rapidly rising redheaded starlet comes in strong with clever bars during her verse. “And it been what it been / Callin’ his phone like, ‘Yo, send me your PIN,’” she spits in the track’s later half.

“Duckin’ my shit, ’cause he know what I’m on / But when he hit me I’m not gon’ respond,” Spice teases.

Along with the upbeat new joint song comes an accompanying music video. Throughout the footage, Spice takes Panthress on a tour of her home state.

Of course, the duo is surrounded by their “baddie friends” throughout their adventures. To boot, all of them are stylishly dressed for the occasion.

PinkPantheress And Ice Spice Pack Another Powerful Punch To Men With The New ‘Boy’s A Liar’ Remix

Two of the most attention-grabbing rising artists at the moment, PinkPantheress and Ice Spice, have united for a remix of PP’s song — now titled “Boy’s A Liar Pt. 2.”

Already an anthem to calling a man out for his sketchy ways, this collab truly raises the stakes by bringing the iconic girls of the internet together. “Take a look inside your heart / Is there any room for me?” PinkPantheress maintains from the original. “You only want to hold me when I’m looking good enough.”

“His girl is a bum to me / Like that boy is a cap / Sayin’ he home, but I know where he at,” Ice Spice adds once she changes the pace for her guest verse, shifting the vibes to really tell the man off.

“If you don’t speak, does that mean we’re through? / Don’t like sneaky sh*t that you do,” the “Bikini Bottom” rapper concludes.

“Working with this amazing woman on this remix was a delight from start to finish and the easiest collaboration I’ve ever made,” PinkPantheress shared in a statement.

There’s also been hints about a music video after the two were spotted filming outside of a TikTok user’s apartment…

Ice Spice & Lil Tjay’s “Gangsta Boo” Marks Her Billboard Hot 100 Debut

On her viral “In Ha Mood” single, Ice Spice lyricized about being proud of her constant growth as an artist. Today (January 31), her rise to superstardom continues as the 23-year-old makes her debut on the prestigious Billboard Hot 100 chart.

As the outlet notes, her collaboration with Lil Tjay on “Gangsta Boo” appears on the list dated February 4th in the 82nd position. It was officially released on January 20th as one of the six titles on her Like..? EP via Dolo/TenThosand Projects/Capitol Records.

The popular song has amassed upwards of five million U.S. streams and over 725K radio airplay audience impressions. Additionally, there were 3,000 downloads in the first week (ending January 26), Luminate states.

The Hot 100 debut is huge news for Spice, though that’s not the only chart where it’s doing numbers. Hot Rap Songs and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs have “Gangsta Boo” sitting at No. 16 and 32, respectively.

The New Yorker’s Like..? project is doing well overall. Presently, it’s No. 13 on Top Rap Albums and No. 19 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. On the all-genre chart, the “Bikini Bottom” rhymer’s work landed at No. 37 after moving 15K equivalent album units.

Spice has had plenty to say while doing press for her recent arrival. While chatting with Ebro Darden, she revealed that her type is “good boys & girls,” not hoodrat types. She also dished about her backstage experience at Drake’s legendary Apollo Theatre shows earlier this month.

Besides celebrating this major career milestone, Spice recently found herself clearing up any drama with Chance The Rapper. Over the weekend, the 29-year-old asked the redhead if she was throwing shade on her new EP.

Ice Spice Has Landed Her First ‘Billboard’ Hot 100 Entry With ‘Gangsta Boo’ Featuring Lil Tjay

It’s astonishing considering the song’s seeming ubiquity, but Ice Spice’s breakout song “Munch” was never actually on the Hot 100 chart, instead peaking at No. 5 on Billboard‘s Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart in September. It didn’t take her too long to top that accomplishment, though; her latest single, “Gangsta Boo” featuring Lil Tjay, has garnered the Bronx rapper her first-ever Hot 100 appearance on this week’s chart.

“Gangsta Boo,” which appears on Ice’s debut EP Like..? alongside her previously released singles “Munch (Feelin’ U),” “Bikini Bottom,” and “In Ha Mood,” enters the Hot 100 this week at No. 82. Considering the omnipresence of Ice Spice catchphrases like, “you thought I was feeling you?” and “how can I lose when I’m already chose?”, it’s likely only a matter of time until we see her making regular appearances at the opposite end of the chart.

The signature redhead probably won’t stop at the charts, though; earlier this month, she hinted that a screen career might soon be on the way. “I didn’t ever really like see myself being a rapper,” she told Hot97’s Ebro Darden. “I always wanted to be an actress. That was my first passion.” With her witty personality and a gift for self-promotion, don’t be surprised if she takes over movies and TV, too.

Chance the Rapper Wants Clarity on Ice Spice Bar: ‘Is This a Diss or Shoutout’

Chance the Rapper Mistaken for Quavo by Ghanian Fan

Hey Ice Spice, Chance the Rapper wants to know did you diss him. In Spice’s “In Ha Mood” single, the Bronx rapper uses a creative spin on the Chicago emcee’s name.

“He a rapper, but don’t got a chance/Stuck in my ways so I’m lovin’ my bands,” Spice spits.

Hearing it, Chano hit Instagram with a question: “Is this a diss or a shoutout”

Ice Spice would respond “Never” to the diss option.

Ice spice returns to the streets of New York for her latest video “In Ha Mood.” In less than a week, the video has already hit two million views, showcasing just how bright the Ice Spice star is shining.

In the video, Ice Spice hits a Bodega in B.B. Simon belts before hitting a photo studio for a snowy photoshoot. You can see it below.
