Jay Electronica Passionately Backs JAY-Z Amid Onslaught Of Super Bowl Criticism

JAY-Z and Kendrick Lamar are not the most likable people right now. Over the last several days, people online have been passionately voicing their support for Lil Wayne since he went undrafted again so to speak for the Super Bowl Halftime Show. With the game once again being hosted by New Orleans, almost everyone is upset that an outsider to Louisiana got the nod instead. Overall, there has been a very small amount of support for the aforementioned artists since the announcement, but one of Hov’s close collaborators is looking to fight off the haters, perhaps on his own based on how fiery his defense was.

That man is Jay Electronica, and according to XXL there are a whole bunch of tweets. There’s a lot to break down, but the overall gist of his argument is that everyone is taking this way too seriously. Instead, they should be focusing their hate and opinions on more serious matters in America. This tweet from Jay Elec perhaps best sums up the plethora of messages.

It reads, “And how yall so quick to let yall gun bust at your brother over nothing. If yall would put 10 percent of this negative energy over a FOOTBALL game into unifying for one common cause, our ppl would be free overnight. Salaaam Alaikum”. There’s also this one: “And let’s be real. @50cent just opened an entire industry in shreveport and these pu**y a** nights slave c**ning over a football game. If you don’t get the f*** outta my face”. There’s plenty of others to get into, so if you want to read them all, check the second “[Via]” link below.

Kendrick Lamar Warned Drake Before Dropping Diss Tracks, Joe Budden Claims

It goes without saying that Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s lyrical battle was one of the most explosive hip-hop fans have seen in a while. Apparently, however, Kendrick could have given Drake a warning before things popped off. During a recent episode of his podcast, Joe Budden shared this theory,. According to him, he heard K.Dot gave Drizzy a call before any of their diss tracks were released.

“I also heard that Drake and Kendrick had a talk before any diss record was released,” he explained. “I don’t know if that’s true or not, but I heard they spoke.” As for how the conversation itself actually went, Budden says Kendrick told Drake to keep it light. Clearly, that’s not at all how the situation played out.

Joe Budden On Drake & Kendrick Lamar’s Beef

“It went like the Teddy Pendergrass part of the sh*t,” he said. “‘Hey, how do you want this to go?’” Ultimately, Kendrick Lamar dropped what many believe to be the song of the summer. On “Not Like Us,” he accuses Drake and his OVO crew of being “certified pedophiles” and much more. Now that Kendrick has been announced as the headliner for the 2025 Super Bowl, there have been some questions as to whether or not he’ll be performing it in its entirety.

Obviously, it’s what most fans probably want to hear Kendrick perform live at this point, considering how big it’s been in recent months. Some people like Charlamagne Tha God, however, suspect that Drake has already threatened to take legal action if this is allowed. For now, it remains to be seen how the performance goes. What do you think of Joe Budden claiming he heard that Kendrick Lamar and Drake talked before their battle? Are you surprised by this rumor or not? Do you believe it? Caitlin Clark May Have Just Backed Kamala Harris After Taylor Swift Endorsement

Caitlin Clark showed support for Taylor Swift and Kamala Harris on Instagram on Wednesday by liking the singer’s post endorsing the Vice President, as caught by TMZ. Swift made the announcement after Harris took on Donald Trump in the presidential debate on Tuesday night. She cited her support for LGBTQ+ rights, being pro-choice, and much more.

In the post, Swift explained: “I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos. I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades.” She also brought up the AI photo of her falsely endorsing Donald Trump and trolled JD Vance by signing off as a “Childless Cat Lady.”

Not all of the reactions to Swift’s post have been as positive as the Indiana Fever star’s. Elon Musk creepily wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “Fine, Taylor, you win … I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life.” Trump also reacted to the news on Fox & Friends by bringing up her friendship with Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany. “Well, I actually like Mrs. Mahomes much better. If you want to know the truth. She’s a big Trump fan. I was not a Taylor Swift fan,” he said.

Chrisean Rock Officially Changes Her Son’s Name

Chrisean Rock is now a free woman. For most of the internet that isn’t a good thing. Anytime her, her family, or Blueface are brought up, its groans galore. Today, people online are doing more of the same, as the baby mama of the “Thotiana” rapper has announced some more news. Early this morning, she sent out a tweet revealing that she has officially altered the name of her son, Chrisean Jr. If you have been voluntarily keeping up with everything she’s been up to/gone through, you may remember that she was wanting to change it since last September.

At the time of birth, his name was Chrisean Malone Jr. However, she decided that it had to be something different. She was pushing for Jonathan Jamall Porter Jr. because, “He has two sons but he don’t got a junior yet I don’t like it. I don’t like it like that”, Rock said. Now, things are official, but her baby boy’s name is not Jonathan. Instead, she decided to keep Chrisean, but now his middle name is Jesus, and his last is Porter.

“Chrisean Jesus Porter is his name it isn’t Jr any more just letting y’all know thanks”, she sent to X. Overall, the internet doesn’t really see this as much of change. “We were calling him Jr. because his name is CHRISEANNNNNNN bird brain smh”, one Hollwood Unlocked IG commenter says. “Hes still technically a jr 😭 just SLOWWW”, another adds. It’s been said before, but everyone seems to be done with Chrisean in every way.

What are your thoughts on Chrisean Rock changing Chrisean Jr.’s name to Chrisean Jesus Porter? Do you think the reactions/criticisms from the internet are valid or unfair? What do you foresee happening with the baby mama of Blueface going forward? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments.
