Tory Lanez Animates Court Reporter Meghan Cuniff to Promote His New Album

Tory Lanez has dropped a new video promoting the deluxe edition of his album, Alone at Prom. The video features a claymation figure resembling famed court reporter Meghann Cuniff.

Cunniff was thrust into the spotlight with her coverage of Lanez’s trial in the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion. Her claymation character reports on the fictional ’80s character Ashton Rain.

The video came across Cunniff, who wondered what fans thought: “Hmmm what do you all think? Me or nah?”

Tory Lanez allegedly had a remark for court reporter Meghan Cuniff at his release hearing. Reports stated Lanez looked at the gallery and called Cuniff a “googly eyed bitch.” Cuniff spoke about the report, stating she didn’t hear it herself.

“I didn’t hear it and I’m still working to see if transcript has it, but I’ve confirmed Tory Lanez chose to use his final courtroom moments to profanely insult me, calling me ‘a googly eyed bitch’ as he looked at gallery,” Cuniff wrote. “Conflicting reports on whether he named me. A fitting end.”

Tory Lanez’s request for release from custody while working on an appeal of his conviction for shooting Megan The Stallion was denied. The Canadian rapper is now in prison

Legal reported Meghann Cunnif states Los Angeles Judge David Herriford denied the request. “The motion will be denied and proceedings concluded. Thank you,” Judge Herriford said.

As Lanez left the courtroom, he smiled at his family and supporters.

New York City is gearing up for a grand celebration on Nov. 9th as it pays tribute to the legendary Wu-Tang Clan by illuminating the Empire State Building in the iconic black and yellow colors that symbolize the Wu-Tang legacy. This momentous occasion marks the 30th anniversary of the groundbreaking 1993 debut album, ‘Enter the Wu-Tang’ (36 Chambers). In honor of this historic event, Mayor Eric Adams has officially declared November 9th as “Wu-Tang Day” in New York City.

Wu-Tang Clan, comprising influential rap artists such as RZA, GZA, Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killa, Inspectah Deck, U-God, and Masta Killa, revolutionized hip-hop with their seminal debut album ‘Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers),’ released on November 9, 1993. The collective’s immense impact transcended music, extending into fashion with their iconic Wu Wear clothing line, film, publishing, video games, and production companies. Wu-Tang’s success in expanding their brand into various commercial ventures opened doors for future generations of hip-hop entrepreneurs.

‘Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)’ achieved platinum status within a year of its release and has since reached triple-platinum status. It was also recognized by the Library of Congress as culturally significant and included in the National Recording Registry. Rolling Stone magazine ranked the album as one of the greatest hip-hop albums of all time, cementing Wu-Tang Clan’s lasting legacy.

In conjunction with this celebration, RZA and the Wu-Tang Clan have announced a partnership with Rock The Bells and SiriusXM. Starting on November 29th, RZA will host a weekly show, #WuWednesdays, on LL COOL J’s Rock The Bells on SiriusXM channel 43, featuring new and classic tracks, exclusive DJ mixes, interviews, and more.

Moreover, a special edition 7-inch box set, a limited-edition LP, and a limited-edition cassette are set to be released in partnership with Legacy Recordings. These collectibles, available for pre-order, include vinyl, liner notes, rare photos, and a pack of exclusive “36 Chambers Trading Cards.”

New York City will host a range of celebratory activities for Wu-Tang Clan’s 30th anniversary, including RZA’s The 36 Chambers 30th Anniversary Celebration at New York’s Gramercy Theatre from November 7-9 and a pop-up shop in the East Village on November 9th. Additionally, the Hip-Hop Education Center, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, and 36 Chambers ALC will present a screening of the documentary ‘A Wu-Tang Experience: Live at Red Rocks Amphitheatre’ on November 15th. Jake Paul is already set to get back in the ring. The 7-1 boxing star will face Andre August on Friday, Dec. 15, from Orlando, FL. The fight will be an 8-round cruiserweight battle.

According to Most Valuable Promotions, August is 10-1-1 on a fight-fight win streak and has more knockouts than any opponent for Paul before. The tickets are set to go on sale this Friday, Dec. 15.

After suffering his first professional loss in February against Tommy Fury, Paul bounced back with a resounding unanimous decision victory against combat sports icon Nate Diaz in August. Now, Jake Paul is more determined than ever to achieve his goal of becoming a world champion.

Paul’s impressive journey in boxing has earned him numerous accolades, including ESPN Ringside’s 2021 Knockout of The Year and Sports Illustrated’s 2021 Breakout Boxer of the Year. His dedication to pay equality in boxing, support for female fighters, and promotion of boxing prospects through Most Valuable Promotions have also solidified his place in the sport.

Jake Paul and his co-founder Nakisa Bidarian will continue to showcase their premier talent in upcoming DAZN events. On October 27th, Amanda Serrano, the undisputed featherweight champion and seven-division world champion, will face WBO challenger Danila Ramos in a historic unified featherweight title bout.

Metro Boomin continues teasing fans about the work he and Future are cooking up. Hitting X, the super producer, spoke about a beat that he is surely going to make his joint album with Pluto.

In September, Metro Boomin told fans that his forthcoming project with Future is ready. Hitting Instagram, Metro shared an image holding a bird and delivered a message.

“me and @future album on the way drop some 🦅🦅🦅 if you ready #freebandz,” Metro wrote.

Metro Boomin is continuing to tease his forthcoming project with Future. While at his Heroes and VIllains pop-up in New York City, Metro Boomin was asked about his upcoming album with Future, and Complex got an answer.

“The ultimate album right now is about to be the one with me and Future,” Metro said. “Now that Spider-Man is out and people love and resonate with it, my focus can go to what I and Pluto got coming out. I’m not doing anything until that gets done.”

He added, “It’s tunnel vision on that one because I was spreading myself thin between Heroes & Villains, Spider-Man, Coachella, and still shooting videos for Heroes. But now the focus is on this album and we’ve been working.”

Metro Boomin’ hinted at a collaboration album with Future once, then he doubled down on it. Teasing the album in his Instagram recap of Coachella.

Duane “Keffe D” Davis Receives June Trial Date for Murder of Tupac Shakur

Duane 'Keffe D' Davis Charged with One Count of Murder

The trial for Duane “Keffe D” Davis in the murder of Tupac Shakur will begin in Nevada on June 3. Keffe D will also be facing a charge for intent to assist a criminal gang.

Keffe D made a court appearance on Tuesday (Nov. 6), speaking with court-appointed attorneys and entering a plea of not guilty.

According to the AP, Keffe D’s attorneys, Charles Cano and Robert Arroyo, will file documents to secure bail before trial.

Suge Knight says he will not take the stand against Duane “Keffe D” Davis after the latter was arrested and charged with the murder of Tupac Shakur.

According to TMZ, Knight stated he was surprised but would not testify.

“I’m not gonna get on the stand and testify on somebody,” Knight said. “For what? I wouldn’t go, I wouldn’t testify. None of that shit.”

“There’s been many people who did not believe that the murder of Tupac Shakur was important to this police department,” said Las Vegas Sheriff Kevin McMahill. “I am here to tell you that that was simply not the case.”

According to famed court reporter Meghan Cuniff, Davis’s role is “by directly committing this crime” or aiding and abetting by giving the gun used. Also named in the indictment are his nephew Orlando “Baby Lane” Anderson and two other men. All of them are dead.
