King Harris Is Demanding A High Price Tag For An Interview

King Harris, the son of legendary Atlanta rapper T.I. is becoming an overnight sensation for all of the wrong reasons. If you have not been keeping tabs on what is trending, this past weekend was an eventful one, to say the least, for T.I. and the gang. The rapper brought his family out for the Atlanta Falcons home matchup with their division rival New Orleans Saints. While all appeared to be just fine, King hopped on Instagram Live and that is when everything went south.

He started going off about how he knows what it is like to grow up in the trap. However, T.I. and his wife Tiny, immediately stepped in to correct him. They put him on blast, saying he was coddled and was sucking a pacifier until he was 12 years old. Things got heated fast and now it has vaulted King and his family into a lot of discussion online. What was worse was the rapper was there because he was performing to help celebrate the 50th anniversary of hip-hop.

Harris has continued to talk even after it all went down. Of course, when you do something outlandish in public, people are going to want to talk with you about it. It seems he is ahead of the game by establishing an asking price for an interview. In an Instagram Story, Harris had a message for any inquirers out there. He states, “10k a interview or I don’t wanna talk.” A lot of people had a lot of issues with this. One person says, “Somebody gimme $10k to spill my family business” is all I read.” Another goes, “Something wrong with this one…”

50 Cent Says He’s Interested In Buying Revolt After Diddy Steps Down As Chairman

50 Cent continued to troll his longtime rival Diddy on Twitter, Tuesday, while reacting to the news that the Bad Boy mogul intends to step down as chairman at Revolt. In response, 50 offered to purchase the company. TMZ broke the news about Diddy stepping down, earlier this week, saying that the move “was to not allow the accusations he’s facing distract from Revolt’s mission or success.”

“I’ll buy that from you play boy, for the low because you know Cadillac and AT&T gonna pull out,” 50 joked on Twitter. “I’ll give you a few dollars for it now! Sell it to me, then we can be friends [blushing emoji] I’m serious call my phone.”

Diddy has faced three sexual assault lawsuits in recent days. The first came from Cassie, who alleged sexual, physical, and emotional abuse. The two reached a settlement just 24 hours after the singer filed in court. Two other accusers have come forward in the time since. His spokesperson denied both allegations in a statement provided to HipHopDX. They wrote: “These are fabricated claims falsely alleging misconduct from over 30 years ago and filed at the last minute. This is nothing but a money grab. Because of Mr. Combs’ fame and success, he is an easy target for anonymous accusers who lie without conscience or consequence for financial benefit.”

50 Cent Trolls Diddy

Tiffany Haddish has encountered legal issues anew, this time facing a DUI charge in California. The actress/comedian was arrested after allegedly being found asleep behind the wheel of her car on Beverly Drive, prompting the Beverly Hills PD to take action despite no reported involvement in an accident.

Tiffany Haddish Faces DUI Charges

Tiffany Haddish is facing legal trouble once again, this time with a DUI charge in Beverly Hills, California. 

On Friday, November 24, Haddish was arrested after police found her allegedly asleep behind the wheel of her car on Beverly Drive. Haddish was arrested by the Beverly Hills PD on Friday morning when they received a report of someone stopped in the middle of Beverly Drive, appearing to be sleeping while the car was running, according to TMZ. 

Although Haddish was not involved in an accident, the police took action, leading to her arrest. Interestingly, this is not the first time Haddish has faced a DUI charge. 

Legal Woes

In January 2022, she was arrested in Atlanta after police responded to a similar incident where she was found sleeping behind the wheel. Haddish is scheduled to go to trial for the case on December 4. 

Furthermore, the comedian has been involved in many legal troubles.  In September 2022, Tiffany Haddish was met with sexual accusations with co-star Aries Spears, where an unidentified woman accused both Haddish and Spears of grooming her and her younger brother. Additionally, coercing them into filming sexually explicit skits when they were children.

Diddy’s Son Arrested For DUI

In a similar vein, other celebrities have also faced legal issues related to DUI charges. Recently, Diddy’s son, Justin Combs, faced a DUI charge in Beverly Hills, California. Following his charges, Combs managed to avoid a jail sentence.

Of course, we are talking about the allegations against Josh Giddey. For the most part, a lot of people have avoided these allegations. Overall, most of it is just social media hearsay, and no one knows what is truly going on here. As for the substance of the allegation, he is currently being accused of having sex with a minor.

There are a lot of people who have criticized Smith and others at ESPN for not talking about this. However, the case doesn’t include an arrest or anything tangible. Therefore, it is a mistake to think they would rush to discuss something like this. That said, on his own show today, Smith decided to break his silence on the whole thing. Essentially, Smith said he hasn’t opened his mouth because of the risk of a lawsuit. Furthermore, he just wants a lot more information to come out.

Young Thug’s Lawyer Explains YFN Lucci Connection In Court

Young Thug’s high-profile YSL RICO trial got started earlier this week. Though it’s just the second day, there are already major revelations being made. According to Bryson “Boom” Paul, Thug’s attorney Brian Steele provided an explanation for the original of Thug’s beef with fellow rapper YFN Lucci. He alleged that Lucci is actually broke and is attaching himself to more relevant rappers in order to generate attention and clout. Steele even claimed that Thug himself did something similar to Lil Wayne when he was a much less popular artist.

The trial is properly underway now after a rough start to the proceedings yesterday. The judge was already frustrated with lawyers from both sides, even before the opening day proceedings. But he was even more frustrated with the prosecution after they failed to deliver all the text slides in their opening statement to the defense. As a result, the opening statements were delayed. The jury had to be dismissed while they sorted the problem of sharing the opening statements between lawyers.

Young Thug’s Lawyer Brings Up YFN Lucci, Lil Wayne

As a result of the failure of the prosecution to hand over all their material Young Thug’s lawyers moved for a mistrial yesterday. Despite his issues with the prosecutions handling of the proceedings, the judge denied the mistrial request. It’s the most recent in a series of issues between the lawyers in the case and the judge who is hearing it.

During the pretrial, the judge had a heated moment with Thug’s lawyer Brian Steele. While they were examining a witness brought in as a gang expert, Steele was frustrated with the prosecutions constant objections. When he described the evaluation as a “farce” the judge specifically warned him to not use that description. Ed Sheeran is the quintessential laidback pop star. Most of his musical artistry involves stripped-down, bashful performances and relatable lyrics. However, make no mistake—Ed Sheeran is a commercial heavyweight, churning out record-breaking singles and albums like no man’s business. Most notably, his first string of albums were uniquely titled. 

From his debut LP, +, to his fifth, =, the British crooner opted for symbols for album titles. While each of these efforts all produced timeless songs, it was his third album, ÷ (Divide), that became his biggest global smash hit. The Grammy-winning album is the best-selling in the singer’s catalog, boasting some awe-inspiring numbers. Altogether, around the world, Divide has amassed over 13 million units sold.

A Worldwide Phenomenon

To go into more detail, Ed Sheeran dominated the album market for the entire calendar year of 2017. Divide kicked off its record-breaking run in the UK, selling over 232,000 units on its first day, without including streaming data. After three days, it had sold more than 432,000 copies, a surefire guarantee that it would debut at No. 1 on the UK Albums chart. Finally, at the end of the first week, Divide had sold over 672,000 units, awarding Ed Sheeran one of the best first-week sales in the history of UK albums. In his native England, the album has been certified 13x Platinum for shipments of over 3.9 million units. 

Likewise, in the United States, Divide debuted atop the Billboard 200. The album sold over 450,000 units in its first week. Altogether, it sold over five million copies, earning a 5x Platinum from the RIAA. All over Europe, Ed Sheeran dominated with Divide, which became one of the best-selling albums in multiple countries. For example, it stayed atop the Danish Albums chart for 36 weeks, becoming the longest-running No. 1 album in Denmark. There, it also achieved total sales of over 240,000 units, achieving a 12x Platinum certification. 

At the time of its release, Divide was the fastest-selling album of the 2010s in Ireland. The album also performed exceptionally well in Canada, earning a Diamond certification after 800,000 units sold. Additionally, in Australia, it was the best-selling album of 2017 and has since sold over 770,000 units, earning an 11x Platinum certification. In France, the LP has been certified Diamond for over 500,000 sales. Italy is not far behind, with a 7x Platinum certification after 350,000 units sold.

Ed Sheeran Becomes Pop Royalty

With his third LP, Ed Sheeran achieved sales equivalents that matched albums released during the Britpop era of the 80s and 90s. The overwhelming success of Divide signified his reign as the most widespread British act of the modern age, alongside Adele. Divide dominated worldwide, and its singles were not left behind. In particular, “Shape of You” and “Perfect” conquered the radio. The former is also the second most streamed song on Spotify. Overall, of all the albums in his repertoire, Ed Sheeran completely shattered all expectations with Divide.
