Travis Kelce And Patrick Mahomes Opening Kansas City Steakhouse

Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes are teaming up off the field to open a steakhouse. 1587 Prime will be located in the downtown Loews Hotel in Kansas City and is expected to open next year. “Travis and I have become frequent visitors of Noble 33 restaurants in other cities so it only made sense to bring something special to our own community in Kansas City,” Mahomes said of the venture. Mahomes and Kelce have been a formidable on-field pair for nearly a decade now.

“We’re excited to be a part of this journey with Noble 33 to create a one-of-a-kind dining experience, and what better place to start than our very own, Kansas City,” Kelce added. The pair previously teamed up to invest in the Chicken N Pickle restaurant. Will you be checking out 1587 Prime when it opens? Let us know in the comments.

Meanwhile, Kelce continues to be his girlfriend’s biggest fan, hyping up the shows that Taylor Swift performed in Singapore last week. Despite having been present for at least five Eras Tour shows at this point, Kelce called Swift’s performances “amazing” and said that he loved every moment. Kelce, who attended two of the shows in Singapore, was seen dancing ecstatically in his VIP box. Additionally, Kelce noted that he went to a “cool as f-ck greenhouse” while visiting the Asian nation.

Swift is now on a tour hiatus until May. The European leg of the tour kicks off in Nanterre, a suburb of Paris, on May 9. Swift will then crisscross Europe until August when she closes out that leg of the tour in London. Paramore will accompany Swift as her supporting act for all European shows. After Europe, Swift takes a break until October before performing a number of shows across the US and Canada. The tour officially ends in Vancouver on December 8.

7 Rappers Who Got Veneers

Veneers have become increasingly popular in the hip hop community within the past few years. The installation of these custom teeth covers help to conceal chips and stains. It is now a very standard cosmetic procedure, especially for entertainers. Rappers are now swapping their grills and diamond teeth for some fresh pearly whites. Recently, Cardi B lost one of her veneers after biting into a bagel, proudly showing off the gap in her teeth on social media. In a video post, she smiled for the camera, laughing off her missing tooth. Cardi B is hardly the first rapper to get veneers or lose a tooth but she is one of the latest hip hop artists to have work done on their smile. Today, we are looking at seven rappers with veneers who have been open about getting them. Take a look at the list below.

Joe Budden

Back in 2020, Joe Budden got a set of veneers. When revealing his new smile, the rapper-turned-podcaster was met with comedic reactions from fans and his co-hosts. In an episode of The Joe Budden Podcast, he read off hilarious dental themed nicknames created for him by fans, including the episode’s title, “Chief Teeth.” In that same podcast, Budden attributed the sensitivity of his fresh set of veneers to bleaching, making him less talkative than normal. During the prior podcast episode, titled “Podparazzi,” Joe Budden dramatically laughed to flash his veneers as well as some botox. Since then, he has continued to show off his new and improved smile on The Joe Budden Podcast.

Rick Ross

Joe Budden was not the only rapper to get veneers in 2020. Rick Ross debuted a new set of teeth after traveling to Colombia for dental work. According to a TMZ report, Ross visited Colombia to see Dr. Mario Montoya, who installed his veneers during a six hour-long procedure. TMZ also claimed that Ross’s new smile was free of charge, despite usually costing around $10,000. On what prompted his decisions to get veneers, the rapper said, “Billion-dollar smiles. I’ma keep it real, I’ve been smoking over 25 years so that was that smokers beige.” In true Rick Ross fashion, he added, “I told him I wanted my shit yayo white, ya dig.”

Lil Pump

Last year, Lil Pump got some new teeth for himself. The Florida rapper’s porcelain veneers reportedly cost him $25,000, and will last him 30 years. He had the procedure done in his hometown of Miami, Florida, courtesy of 5 Star Smiles. Along with his veneers, Lil Pump also reportedly ordered a new set of grills as well. The rapper’s cosmetic transformation coincided with his weight loss journey, as he has been tracking his gym progress with photos that see him leaner than ever.

Gucci Mane

Back in 2016, Gucci Mane emerged from prison a new man, donning a new physique. Since then, he has continued to transform his appearance with a newfound passion for fitness. Along with his workout regimen, Gucci has also changed his smile with glaring white teeth. His bright smile followed his release from prison and has since become a part of his signature look. In 2020, Gucci Mane upgraded his veneers, still pearly white but with a singular diamond on each tooth beside his front two. “A quarter milly in GuWop grille,” he boasted in an Instagram reveal of his dental work.

Cam’ron

Cam’ron had work done on his signature gapped teeth in 2022. The Dipset rapper flexed his brand new veneers in an Instagram video while smoking a blunt to Billy Joel. Fans instantly noticed Cam’s new set of teeth, reacting to them on social media. One fan jokingly wrote, “Now who Daddy’s teeth Cam’ron done stole… they done Gucci Maned my boy.” People also compared Cam’ron’s dental work to fellow Dipset member Juelz Santana’s missing teeth. Fans can see Cam’ron and his veneers on his sports talk show with Mase, It Is What It Is

Lil Yachty

Early in his career, Lil Yachty boasted his diamond-encrusted teeth, including his $35,000 rainbow grills. He later ditched his dental jewelry in favor of some new veneers. In 2021, Yachty hopped on Instagram Live to show off his bright white teeth. “It’s the white teeth show, man. N***a’s lookin’ and feelin’ excellent,” he said. Impressed by his own look, he exclaimed, “Imma smile for the rest of the week. For the rest of the month!” Lil Yachty also revealed that he spent $80,000 on his custom veneers.

G Herbo

G Herbo is one of the latest rappers to get a brand new set of veneers. In December of last year, he paid a visit to Chicago-based dentist Da Smile Boss for his procedure. The dentist gave his Instagram followers advice in a post about his session with G Herbo. He wrote, “you didn’t damage your teeth in a day. Therefore you can’t fix your entire dental problem in a day!” Da Smile Boss continued, “Technology has changed, but the foundation is still depending on YOUR dental upkeep and you prioritizing your dental health.” While giving G Herbo a new and improved smile, he emphasized the importance of maintaining one’s dental health.

Sukihana Reacts To OJ Da Juiceman Arrest After Their Collaboration

Authorities recently arrested OJ Da Juiceman for drug and gun possession charges, and many in the rap world chimed in. Whether it’s calls for freedom, reflections on his music’s subject matter, or remarks on how good it was, this opened up some discussion around the Atlanta MC. Moreover, authorities pulled him over after speeding and allegedly discovered a gun and drugs in his car despite a felony history. However, they also hit OJ with evidence tampering charges, and this was all reportedly on March 4 according to an initial TMZ report. As such, at press time, it’s unclear what the case’s status is, but Sukihana is nonetheless heartbroken.

Furthermore, Sukihana had just released a collaborative track with OJ Da Juiceman, “Selling Coochie,” on March 6. “Me and OJ is #3 on iTunes Hip-Hop and [they] just locked [him] up,” the Baddies star painfully shared on Twitter Wednesday night (March 13). “This so hurtful. We supposed to be celebrating this moment. I know he would be happy. I was bringing him on stage for Rolling Loud, I literally want to cry but God got us. He coming home soon.”

Sukihana Is Wishing OJ Da Juiceman The Best While Behind Bars

Hopefully this all resolves soon and Suki can reunite with OJ one day, although she’s got some more contentious issues to deal with as of late. For example, fans expressed shock when she got into a fight with Karlissa Saffold, Blueface’s mother, when Saffold felt she had to stand up for her daughter while filming the TV show Bad Vs. Wild. Some, like fellow collaborator Sexyy Red, defended Sukihana on social media, whereas Blue’s mother said that she doesn’t condone violence and was simply defending her daughter. You be the judge, but these are all personalities that will stand on business and aren’t afraid to get rowdy.

Meanwhile, as for OJ Da Juiceman, this is the first time he popped up in the headlines in a long time. The last big story around him concerned his beef with Waka Flocka Flame and his manager (and Waka’s mother) Deb Antney. We’ll see if anything else comes of this recent arrest. For more news on him and the latest updates on Sukihana, come back to HNHH.

Young Thug Trial: Attorney Spat Gets Out Of Hand, Sheriff’s Deputy Intervenes

Day 42 of Young Thug’s RICO trial kicked off earlier today, and unfortunately, it’s already been just as chaotic as one would expect. Clearly, the pressure is on for everyone involved, as the rapper could be facing a life sentence if convicted. According to a new Twitter/X post by legal reporter Meghann Cuniff, tensions were high in the courtroom today. In fact, they were so high that a sheriff’s deputy felt the need to get involved.

In a clip from Cuniff’s stream, two attorneys are seen arguing, when one of them insists she get an opportunity to speak without being interrupted. As things began to escalate, a nearby sheriff’s deputy stepped forward toward the attorneys, looking prepared to step in if necessary. The judge then encouraged both of them to “take it down a notch.” He later reprimanded Adriane Love. “I know you’re being an advocate,” he said, also telling her, “At some point, stop. Just stop. I made my ruling, good, bad, or indifferent to you. You’re gonna win some you’re gonna lose some.”

Drama In The Courtroom

Earlier this month, Young Thug’s defense team filed a motion for the rapper’s lyrics and music videos to be removed from evidence. They cited a recent, unrelated murder conviction that was overturned by the Georgia Supreme Court. In 2022, Morgan Baker was accused of shooting a security guard at a nightclub and convicted of malice murder, felony murder, and aggravated assault.

In their ruling, the court said that showing his music video in court portrayed Baker as a “threatening gunman” with a “predisposition to gun violence.” Young Thug and his team hope that a similar ruling will also be made in his case. What do you think of two attorneys getting into a heated argument during Young Thug’s RICO trial today? What about the sheriff’s deputy stepping in? Are you surprised? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Lil Wayne Got $9 Million In COVID Aid For Having A Drug-Free Tour Workplace

According to Business Insider, Lil Wayne is one of many artists who got a sizable check from the U.S. government for their touring practices. Moreover, he reportedly claimed that his touring company was a “drug-free” workplace so that authorities would give him $9 million in federal pandemic aid through the Small Business Administration (SBA). Specifically, the former Hot Boy apparently gave stern warnings to his co-workers about the “dangers” of drugs on tour, and threatened punishment or rehab to anyone caught using substances. Then, when he and his team requested aid from the SBA, they approved his request and cut him an $8.9 million check to Young Money Touring, Inc.

Not only that, but apparently Post Malone is another artist who used this justification for his touring company to get more funds. While neither he nor Lil Wayne have shied away from their drug use, it seems like the SBA doesn’t take into account past activity. In addition, the agency’s inspector general had admitted last year that its employees only had about four hours to review and respond to applications. As such, some fans and publications believe that this is the result of a rushed process not having the time or resources to make a thorough revision. But that’s only if there’s a lie here, which we have no concrete reason to believe… nor, admittedly, deny.

Lil Wayne Performing At The iHeartRadio Music Festival 2023

Via a statement, the SBA clarified that they did not consider “personal actions” from folks like Lil Wayne or drug use from March 2020 to June of 2022, which is presumably the period of eligibility for this compensation. “When you have social status, your substance use is treated in a different way,” public health expert Harold Pollack of the University of Chicago remarked. “They don’t brutalize a lot of celebrities for behaviors that we would very harshly treat in people with less prestige.” These touring companies received aid under the Shuttered Venue Operators Grant program, intended to uplift music venues amid bankruptcy and, as a federal program, required certified compliance with federal laws.

“The fact that touring artists have a different lifestyle doesn’t mean that they weren’t impacted in a substantial way by the pandemic,” Josh Schiller stated. He’s a lawyer with past entertainment industry clients who sued for marijuana’s legalization. “Was there a better use of those grants? I think that’s really a good question.” If the SBA finds that Weezy lied about this tour environment, the team could face a lawsuit or heavier prosecution.
