Nicki Minaj Is Still Not A US Citizen Despite Her Best Efforts

Nicki Minaj says she still doesn’t have United States citizenship, despite moving to the country from Trinidad and Tobago as a child. Discussing the situation on TikTok Live, she complained about having paid millions of dollars in taxes to U.S., but still not having been given citizenship.

“I’m not a citizen of America. Isn’t that crazy?” she said. “I was born on a beautiful island called Trinidad and Tobago. But I’ve been in the States for many years. You would think that with the millions of dollars that I’ve paid in taxes to this country that I would have been given an honorary citizenship many, many, many thousands of years ago.”

Earlier this week, Diddy was arrested amid several lawsuits and shocking allegations surrounding him. He was charged with “racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution,” according to TMZ. His first request for release on bail was denied, and today, he’s asking the judge to reconsider. If convicted, he could face a maximum sentence of life in prison.

Diddy’s not the only one with a lot on his plate at the moment, however, as Meek Mill also recently took to Twitter/X with a fun revelation. “In other news…. I bought a farm the other day,” he wrote simply. The rapper didn’t share much more than that about his latest endeavor, though he did follow up with a message about how God is responsible for his success.

Of course, Meek Mill’s farm announcement comes after fans speculated that he was named in Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones’ lawsuit against Diddy. In it, Lil Rod alleged that the mogul had a sexual relationship with “a Philadelphia rapper who dated Nicki Minaj.” He’s since been the victim of relentless online trolling, which has only increased since details of Diddy’s indictment went public. Before the security footage of Diddy allegedly assaulting Cassie surfaced earlier this year, Meek made it clear that he wasn’t believing every damning allegation made against the Bad Boy Records founder.

Diddy Promises To Have No Female Visitors In Latest Bail Proposal

Earlier this week, Diddy was arrested following months of disturbing allegations and lawsuits. According to TMZ, he was charged with “racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution.” If convicted, the Bad Boy Records founder could face a minimum of 15 years behind bars or a maximum sentence of life.

Despite offering home detention with GPS monitoring and “all other standard conditions of pretrial supervision,” Diddy’s request for bail was denied earlier this week. Today, he appeared in court again to appeal the judge’s decision and make another proposal. His legal team claimed that if he were released, the security company that overlooks his Miami home would hand over visitor logs nightly.

They also added that Diddy would only receive visits from family, property caretakers, and friends who are not co-conspirators. His team added that his only female visitors would be family members or the mothers of his children. On top of this, Diddy promised to have no contact with witnesses and to take weekly drug tests. It’s to be seen whether or not the appeal will be successful. Previously, Judge Robyn Tarnofsky argued that Diddy could theoretically and allegedly re-offend if released. “This is a crime that happens behind closed doors, even when pretrial services is monitoring,” she explained earlier this week.

Despite these latest developments, Diddy’s team appears confident in their ability to get him off the hook. “He’s going to clear his name and we’re going to stand by his side as he does,” his attorney Marc Agnifilo said outside the courthouse yesterday. “We believe in him wholeheartedly.” What do you think of Diddy’s recent arrest? Young Thug Trial: State Witness Could Die On The Stand Due To Health Issues, Lawyer Claims

The YSL RICO trial continues, and unfortunately, it still shows no signs of coming to an end. Young Thug has been behind bars for over two years now. At this point, fans are split when it comes to what outcome they expect. Some believe there’s a strong chance the rapper could end up serving much more time. Others remain hopeful that things will work out in his favor.

Young Thug is far from the only person who’s been put through the wringer lately, however. State witness Quindarrius “Lil Dee” Zachary is also locked up on a material witness warrant despite currently dealing with serious medical issues. These issues are so serious, in fact, that his lawyer Dennis Schieb recently told Judge Paige Reese Whitaker that he could die on the stand.

Quindarrius “Lil Dee” Zachary’s Health Issues Take Center Stage In Young Thug Trial

In a clip from the courtroom, Schieb explains that his client is extremely sick with pneumonia and that the medication he’s taking allegedly creates cognitive impairment. Moreover, he claims that Lil Dee’s grandmother passed away a few days ago and that he’d like to attend the funeral. He asked that his client be released, promising that he wouldn’t go anywhere if he was. The clip arrives shortly after Schieb told the judge that his Lil Dee “will not survive” in Fulton County Jail.

“[Prosecutors] want him to testify, and something that he supposedly said years ago, I don’t know if he even remembers it,” he told Atlanta News First earlier this week. “I’ve talked to him. He’s been through so much. He’s been drained physically; he’s been drained mentally. They want him to testify.
