Toronto Femcee Lady SB Hit With Human Trafficking Charge

Toronto rapper Lady SB is one of five individuals recently charged with human trafficking in Toronto, per local outlet CTV News‘ Wednesday (September 18) report. Moreover, this apparently followed five months of joint investigation with other authorities until the arrest of these folks for their alleged involvement in crimes across the Greater Toronto Area. According to Halton Regional Police, this group “maintained control, direction of influence over the victims” through coercion, force, manipulation, and abuse from September of 2019 up until their arrest. The other accused individuals include Prince Munroe (another rapper called Casino Barnes), Jamie Munroe (apparently Prince’s brother), Jonathan Bennett, and Shuwayne Mitchell.

Furthermore, police have not specified the amount of alleged victims of this supposed human trafficking scheme at press time. They did, however, execute search warrants in Toronto and Brampton and arrest Lady SB and her alleged associates on Tuesday (September 17). In addition to arresting these individuals, they also seized a “large sum of cash,” a loaded firearm, ammo, a prohibited magazine, a vehicle, and some documents that identified some of the alleged victims. Each suspect is between 25 and 35 years of age, coming from Brampton, Mississauga, Shelburne, and Ontario.

Lady SB Arrested For Human Trafficking

As for Lady SB, she along with the Monroes face multiple charges including trafficking in persons, promoting sexual services with full knowledge, and assault. On the other hand, Bennett and Mitchell received one charge each of procuring and exercising control over the procured. The court has yet to test these charges, and they all remain alleged as of writing this article. According to CTV News, investigators also warned that there could be even more alleged victims out there that they have yet to investigate or identify.

Meanwhile, Lady SB had told No Jumper back in 2023 about her sources of income, which made many raise their eyebrows at the time and especially now. She didn’t provide many details on how she makes her money, but she did allude to some illegal activity throughout and recalled a previous gun charge. Still, this might just be a huge reach, so we have to wait for what the court has to say.

Just yesterday it was “Bourne Day” for Pi’erre Bourne. The idiosyncratic rapper and producer is now 31-years-young, so happy birthday to the South Carolina native! For the last several years, he’s given us plenty of pop rap/trap bangers with some of the biggest names in the game. However, he’s also got loads of hits under his own belt as an MC. He’s been laying down rhymes since 2018 and he’s got tons of releases to show for it. At this moment in time, there is a very strong belief and sense of hope from his fans that there will be yet another addition to his LP catalog. That album is Made In Paris, which sounds like exactly what it means.

All of the eventual tracks that will go on to land on this future project are recordings laid down in France’s most iconic city. However, there is not really any confirmed information regarding its release date, but people are speculating October. Sometimes, artists don’t even realize how far their words can travel. Fabolous found himself in an unexpected situation when what he thought was a harmless line from his 2010 track “For The Money” comparing Beyonce to her sister Solange came up when Bey pressed him about it later.

“Because if you could have Beyoncé, would you take Solange?” Fabolous rapped on the track, which also featured Nicki Minaj (who recently made her feelings about the Knowles-Carter family known). In a new interview with The Pivot, Fab was asked about that lyric. “I knew people were paying attention. I didn’t know Beyonce was paying attention […] It was like a mixtape freestyle. When she said it, I was like ‘oh, I get it,’ but in my head, I’m like, ‘who played Beyonce this s**t?’”

Fabolous And Beyonce Had A Brief Talk About Old Song Lyrics

Fabolous said the chat with Beyonce made him rethink some punchlines he used, as you never know who’s listening. In a previous recollection of the story on The Breakfast Club, he mentioned that he apologized to Solange in person for the bar. “I’m like, ‘Hey! Rolling Stone later ranked it among the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time in the 2020 update to their list. Because of the strength of their relationship, it is not at all a surprise that Beyonce took exception to what Fab thought was a throwaway line. Hopefully, Fab’s story teaches some younger rappers the same lesson he learned.

Ever since around the Lil Rod lawsuit against Diddy, folks have berated Meek Mill with a lot of attacks, jokes, and assumptions regarding his connection to the music executive. This is sad because people are focusing on the Philly rapper’s alleged sexuality as if it was a problem instead of the Bad Boy mogul’s alleged crimes. Nevertheless, when Meek asked a question about why many folks are stepping down as CEOs, people clowning him in the replies eventually led to a pretty lucrative offer on his behalf.

The last public clowning that Meek Mill experienced came from Wack 100, who flippantly addressed the whole thing on multiple occasions at this point. Meek’s called him out on Twitter every single time, and Wack’s responded by posting alleged audio of his and Diddy’s supposed sexual interactions. We wonder how this discourse will evolve now that Sean Combs is officially behind bars and awaiting trial, but we can’t imagine it will change much. After all, this story is still as salacious, debatable, and explosive as it’s ever been, even if people hyper-fixate on other celebrities’ alleged involvement rather than the weight of the accusations themselves.

Meanwhile, the last Diddy update we got concerns an alleged claim from the late Kim Porter about Diddy’s alleged relationships with young boys. This comes from an alleged compilation of diary entries she supposedly wrote about their relationship, bringing up then-18-year-old superstars and rappers that he previously managed. But the book’s publisher provided no solid proof that these were actually Porter’s letters, so take that with a grain of salt.

Just a day later, Tory Lanez took to Instagram with a lengthy letter to his supporters to confirm the initial reports. “My cell was not raided and trashed because I learned how to record myself in prison or because I created ‘The Prison Tapes’. I was shut down because the ‘HIGHER UPS’ figured out what I was really doing with ‘The Prison Tapes’ and how many inmates were being helped in a life changing way because of them”.

Despite this massive setback and the unknown future surrounding these charitable tracks, he’s still providing “new” music. “The Lost Tapes” are still going strong, as evidenced by last week and now this weekend too. For this Thursday and Friday, Tory Lanez is back with two love cuts, “Time Away” and “Topless in Miami”. The former is a 2019 leftover, and the latter comes from one of his peak years in 2016. Both songs tell supposedly real past relationships and the good times that he had with each one.
