[WATCH] Comedian Corey Holcomb: Tupac Didn’t Want Jada Pinkett

As the talk of the infamous slap heard throughout Hollywood continues to be a topic at conversation tables, Jada Pinkett-Smith’s post slap actions have received a lot of criticism, but none as brutal as what came from the mouth of comedian Corey Holcomb.

Holcomb gave his take on why Pinkett-Smith goes so hard to remind the world that she was close to late Hip Hop icon Tupac Shakur, but it is questionable as to whether or not they were intimate. Holcomb also brought up the letter that her daughter Willow Smith penned to Shakur after learning of the connection of the slain rap legend to her mother.

Willow wrote when she was 11 to Tupac, telling him, “I know you are alive someplace. I think that my mommy really misses you. Can you please come back so mommy and me can be happy! I wish you were here. I really do!”

Method Man Releases “Live From The Meth Lab”, Announces ‘Meth Lab 3: The Rehab’ Album

Hip-hop legend Method Man is back with a new collaborative track straight from The Meth Lab. The song, entitled “Live From The Meth Lab”, has a distinctive, 90s hip hop vibe and features longtime friends, frequent collaborators, and genre icons Redman and KRS-One and Wu Tang affiliated rapper JoJo Pelligrino.

The song is the third release off the upcoming ‘Meth Lab 3: The Rehab’ project, following “The Last 2 Minutes” featuring Iron Mic and “Butterfly Effect” featuring RJ Payne, which saw high praise from Complex, UPROXX, HipHopDX, Okayplayer, Hot New Hip-Hop, VIBE, Revolt and more.

The Meth Lab project is a platform curated with friend and collaborator Hanz On that draws upon the Staten Island hip-hop community to put on up-and-coming artists alongside some of Wu Tang’s finest and noteworthy affiliates. The album was recorded in Meth Lab Studios on Staten Island and will be released on May 6, 2022  via Hanz On Music Entertainment (H.O.M.E.) / ONErpm.

Lil Baby Drops Two New Records “Right On” And “In A Minute”

The game is about to change again. Always one to make an entrance, GRAMMY® Award-winning chart-dominating multiplatinum force of nature Lil Baby returns with two new records today entitled “Right On” and “In A Minute” via Quality Control Music Group/Wolfpack Global Music/Motown Records. Following a series of mega chart-topping collaborations, these two songs mark his first new solo music of 2022. During “Right On,” he rips through bars with infectious intensity, tearing up the orchestral production and punchy 808s. Affirming his place in the culture, he promises, “I ain’t about that fake shit, I’d rather keep it real,” as he urges, “Tell the police I don’t do nothing, I been selling these songs.” In many ways, one statement sums it up, “I’m way better than last time.” This confidence and charisma carry over to the music video where he cruises in the Rolls Royce in the very same neighborhood of Oakland City, Atlanta, GA where he grew up. He mentions at the beginning of the track and raps from the backseat before turning up in a parking lot as fleet of luxury cars surround him.

Then, there’s the introspective and incisive “In A Minute.” Ominous piano and airy harmonies brush up against his intense delivery as he declares, “I’m in a different league. I’m tired of showing what I can get done, what you gonna do for me?” accompanied with a cinematic visual.

Just last week, he notably picked up his very first GRAMMY® Award in the category of “Best Melodic Rap Performance” for “Hurricane” with Kanye West and The Weeknd.

[WATCH] French Montana Stars in New “Big Comfy” Canada Dry Campaign

French Montana has entered a new relationship with Canada Dry. “Big Comfy,” a fun take on why staying home from the club is the most comfortable way to spend the evening, was co-written by Canada Dry and the artist.

The spoof video features a humorous Montana as an infomercial actor hawking the most comfortable lime green fur slippers that no one can resist, directed by James Larese and scored by Montana’s old buddy Harry Fraud. “I’m drinkin’ my Canada Dry, I’m comfortable with shorty, I ain’t comin’ outside,” he raps, transforming the advertisement into a dreamlike vision of an at-home “Montana party.” ‘What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done in your life?’ she asked. “Watch a full series in one night,” I advised her.

Montana is accompanied solely by his fiancée (Montana’s brother, Ayoub Kharbouch, also makes a cameo) and a distinct, bubbling green can of his favorite soft drink, Canada Dry Ginger Ale, on the couch, as if it were a club on a Friday night.

“It’s been so legendary to bring my creative vision to life in this collaboration with Canada Dry,” said French Montana. “A night in wouldn’t be the same without a comfy robe, slippers, and Canada Dry Ginger Ale by my side…that’s what we call a MONTANA PARTY.”

T.I. Pays Comedian After She Proved He Disrespected Her First

Could T.I. have made the most expensive heckle in history? While he may have crowned himself the King of the South, the 41-year-old Atlanta native may not have been exemplifying King behavior in a comedy club earlier this week after the comedian Lauren Knight exposed T.I. for disrespecting her during her set.

In a clip that surfaced on the internet earlier this week, T.I. can be seen closely approaching the comedian on stage following a joke she made regarding sexual assault accusations pointed at the “U Dont Know Me” rapper and his wife, Tiny.

“Listen, as many times as you joke on that sh*t, I’m gon’ check your motherf*ckin’ a** as long as it takes. N*gga, when you stop talking about it and playing with me and mine, I’m gonna stop saying something,” T.I. can be heard saying into the mic. “N*gga, ain’t no motherf*ckin’ case, ain’t never been no motherf*ckin’ case ’cause I ain’t did nothing wrong and my wife ain’t did nothing wrong. And if you keep on playing with me n*gga, I’m gonna motherf*ckin’ continue to confront you publicly, verbally…”

While many were hesitant to side with T.I., Knight later posted a video on her social media addressing what caused her to make the wily joke in the first place. “He kept telling me to shut the f*ck up and called me all types of b*tches. Basically heckling me,” she explained in the video.

T.I. would later respond by asking the woman to prove that he called her out of her name, and he would pay her 1 million dollars, to which she followed up with a video of the rapper indeed shouting “B*tch” during her set.

It’s safe to say T.I. was able to put his money where his mouth is, as the rapper shared to a fan that he paid Knight 1 million dollars after she posted exhibit A. Check out the entire altercation below.

Future Confirms Kanye West and BabyFace Ray On Upcoming Album

It’s Future season! Pluto plans on taking over the summer as he’s gearing up to drop a new album. Future told us earlier this week that Scooter said it was time for an album, and Future is reassuring fans.

Yesterday the Atlanta rap megastar sent out tweets that fully confirmed he’s in album mode. Even though he didn’t give a name and release date for the album, he did drop a few names of artists who will be on the album. The Freeband Gang President already confirmed features from that Kanye West and BabyFace Ray.

Future and Ye got close back in 2014 when they collaborated on “I Won.” Since then, their relationship has blossomed. Kanye came out as a special guest during the Atlanta native’s Rolling Loud California set in December. Not to mention, Ye recruited Hendrix to executive produce his latest album DONDA 2.

Just recently, Future and Kanye were seen shooting a video. Pluto posted the footage on his Instagram story and stated that Kanye West killed what song they were on. Future said, “.. YE SPAZZED ON DIS SH*T.”

The last time we got an entire body of work from Future came in 2020 when he dropped High Off Life. That album featured Drake, Travis Scott, Young Thug, and more appearances. The project earned Pluto his seventh consecutive solo No. 1 after earning 153,000 album-equivalent units in its first week.

Roddy Ricch tends to live a low-key, private life. The only real way into the Compton rapper’s life is through his music. Every once in a while, when it seems as if Roddy’s presence has been missing from Hip-Hop, he drops off a preview of what we’re used to hearing from him.

Yesterday, Roddy took it to Instagram live, shared an unreleased track, and is still musically inclined.

This song snippet reminds us of what we’ve been getting from Roddy, authentic quality-sounding street music. Roddy is using the beat to vent to us. He uses his melodic flow to give us an insight into his life.

This isn’t the first time the Feed Tha Streets rapper dropped a snippet of new music. He previewed a new track back in February after receiving some Twitter hate. Some fans from the social media platform thought that everything Ricch has dropped since Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial was “mid.” I guess his recent album Live Life Fast didn’t meet expectations. They want that Feed Tha Streets Roddy, and from its sounds, that’s what we’re going to get whenever he drops his next project.

The Netflix Is a Joke Festival Line Up Adds Snoop Dogg’s ‘F*CN Around’ Comedy Special

Over the years, Snoop Dogg has proven to be Hollywood’s biggest hustlers. From rapping to acting or even hosting, Snoop D.O double is always working, and as expected, the California entertainer just landed another gig.

The Netflix Is A Joke Festival recently expanded its line up and Snoop Dogg’s F*cn Around Comedy Special made the cut. Billed by Netflix as “a night of legendary black comics,” a live taping of Snoop Dogg’s special will take place May 5 at the Hollywood Palladium. Katt Williams, Mike Epps, Sommore, and more are all set to join him.

This will be the first time the film streaming hosted a platform live comedy festival.

Netflix Is a Joke: The Festival begins April 28 and runs through May 8 in Los Angeles. Along with Snoop Dogg, Netflix added John Mulaney, and Bill Burr.

Again Snoop’s comedy special will take place on May 5 at the Hollywood Palladium.

Mulaney will first perform John Mulaney: From Scratch with Special Guest Earthquake at The Forum on May 3 and again at Hollywood Bowl on May 7, and Burr will perform two shows for Bill Burr & Friends at Hollywood Palladium, both on May 4.

Other new additions to the 11-day comedy event include Dana Carvey, David Spade, Sasheer Zamata, Sebastian Maniscalco, Franco Escamilla, and the stars of Cobra Kai and Never Have I Ever. The festival comprises more than 250 live shows, be spread across 30 Los Angeles venues between April 27 and May 7.

August Alsina Fires Back at Hate Following “Shake the World” Single

It has been a busy week for the Smith family, and anyone entangled with the power couple. Following the infamous Oscars slap, August Alsina would release a single titled “Shake the World,” where the singer drops a line about his entanglement with Jada Pinkett-Smith in the song. The single sparked a few fans to become upset with Alsina’s timing to release the single, accusing him of wanting clout at the expense of another black man.

“Boy that new song [trash] This is a bad look. You’re not a victim in this. You made a DECISION to sleep with another man’s WIFE and now that it’s time to reap you wanna put these people’s business out there instead of admitting that wasn’t P and owning your [sh*t]” one fan tweeted to the singer.

“Ifeel for you and your ancestors brother. Cus u ain’t nevaaaaa had to lie this hard,” Alsina wrote with a laughing emoji. “U know that shit hard boy! Shit put u in a hypnosis soon as it drop! Cus Got Dammit ‘I shake the wurrrrrrrrl.’”

“My point is this. You’re actually talented. All of that [sh*t] that you’ve been through in your childhood and life is what attracted a lot of us to your music. You don’t NEED to be doing THIS. All you need to do is drop a hot album and K.I.M. IJS,” the fan responded.

Secret Linen Store, an online luxury bed linen supplier, wanted to know which celebrities appeared most frequently in our dreams and dug into the data to find out.

The data shows that the most dreamed about celebrity in the globe is British musician and heart throb Harry Styles, according to Twitter, where hundreds of individuals post about their latest celebrity dream every day. According to Twitter data, the former One Direction member has appeared in roughly 800 dreams since the release of his debut single from his upcoming album Harry’s House. Jungkook, a member of the highly renowned boy band BTS, is the second most wished-for star, while Drake, a Canadian rapper, is the third.

Taylor Swift (4th) is the most desired female celebrity, with only Euphoria star Zendaya (7th) and Kim Kardashian (10th) rounding out the top ten.

The only other hip-hop musician in the top 10 is American rapper Jack Harlow, who is the 9th most desired celebrity — his songs frequently go viral on TikTok, and he just collaborated with Lil Nas X. Timothee Chalamet (5th), Zendaya’s boyfriend and fellow star of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Tom Holland (6th), and Robert Pattinson (8th), who recently starred as the latest Batman, round out the top ten.

Although we can’t guarantee a night of Harry Styles-filled dreams, we do recommend making a few bedtime changes to ensure you have the best possible environment for dreaming. Make sure to change up your bedding as the temperatures change (linen for when it’s warm and brushed cotton for the colder nights), use a pillow spray with lavender or eucalyptus scents and try to reduce your screen time before you hit the hay.”
