In case you’ve been under a rock, many people are transitioning to veganism and living a healthier life. Popular vegan influencer Tabatha Brown recently launched a vegan food and home goods collection at Target and a hair care line at Ulta. The social media star is known for her fun personality and easy-to-do vegan dishes. She also is remembered for the infamous clapback she gave TV personality Wendy Williams.

Singer Chilli from TLC may be officially off the market.

Following her VH1 show ‘What Chilli Wants” many wondered if any man could check Chilli’s extensive checklist. But now TMZ is reporting that she’s officially dating “Boy Meets World” star Matthew Lawrence.

Chilli is best known for being a member of TLC, one of the most successful girl groups of all time. Matthew has been an actor since childhood and memorably starred opposite Robin Williams in the 1993 comedy Mrs. Doubtfire.Matthew was previously married to professional dancer Cheryl Burke, with their divorce finalised in September 2022.

Chilli and Matthew are said to have gone Instagram official with their romance in a since-deleted video they shared dancing to Take On Me in their pyjamas.

26-Year Old Mother of Two Dead After BBL Surgery

In October, 26-year-old Jaynisha “Jayla” Williams and her mother, Latoshia Leggett, traveled to Best U Now cosmetic surgery center in Plantation, Florida so the young woman could receive a breast augmentation and a Brazilian butt lift. As reported by her mother, Wiliams never woke up from the surgery.

According to Leggett, she flew in from California to attend her daughter’s procedure and waited in the facility’s lobby as doctors worked on Williams. “I was asking every hour, ‘How’s my daughter doing? How are things going?’ and they kept telling me, ‘She’s OK. Everything is fine,’” the grieving mother recalled. As time passed, other patients exited, but Williams never appeared. Soon after, an ambulance arrived with its sirens blaring.

“The ambulance pulled up. That’s when I said, ‘Excuse me, can somebody tell me what’s going on?’” Leggett said to the news station. As Williams’ body was rolled out of the building on a stretcher, staff from the Best U Now cosmetic surgery center delivered devastating news. “They politely grabbed me and said, ‘Your daughter is dead,’” she revealed. A report from the Broward Medical Examiner’s Office noted, “The procedure was completed, but [Williams] never awoke from the anesthesia.” Her cause of death was listed as undetermined. Since the tragedy, the Florida Health Department has filed administrative complaints against the facility, as well as Dr. John Edward Nees, the designated physician for Best U Now.

Reports later revealed that an OBGYN name Dr. Millicent Muir gave Williams the anesthesia she never woke up from. The designated physician for the surgery center, claimed they allowed a doctor who wasn’t qualified to administer the aesthesia to sedate Williams.

The victim’s family says no one from the surgery center has reached out to them following their loss. The 26-year-old left behind two young children, ages 5 and 2. “It’s hard. They ask if they can go to heaven to see their mom. They don’t understand,” Leggett tearfully said during an interview with NBC Miami 6.

The Louis Vuitton x Yayoi Kusama Collab is Almost Here

Louis Vuitton is  rolling out ready-to-wear, leather goods, accessories and perfumes in collaboration with 93 year-old fine artist, Yayoi Kusama. The collaboration will be accompanied by carefully curated campaigns and a host of high-profile activations.

Since the initial announcement of this collaboration, there has been quick progress in getting consumers excited. Last May, Nicolas Ghesquière, the brand’s artistic director of women’s collections, accessorized some of his cruise 2023 outfits with polka-dot handbags. A Tokyo takeover followed at the Tokyo Tower, Zojoji Temple and Tokyo station where a combination of physical installations and augmented reality activations got buzz going. Further excitement of this drop was reflected by an Instagram post of the anamorphic billboard Vuitton installed in Tokyo’s swarming Shinjuku district that scored more than 10 million views. It shows Kusama peering out from a decorated Vuitton trunk with animated fruit friends.

Delphine Arnault, Vuitton’s executive vice president said, “One of the aspects of her [Kusama] work is happiness, and we thought it would be really refreshing after the pandemic to have the worlds of Vuitton and the world of Kusama meet again.” 

One thing is crystal clear after the success of this partnership in 2012 between the luxury giant and artist. They share an obsession with perfection in concept, execution and craft. The new collection encompasses Kusama’s “infinity dots” and metal dots, first introduced in 1966, alongside floral and pumpkin motifs. It took the Vuitton team countless trials to achieve the desired effect of seamless floating dots that resemble wet paint.

The photo made its rounds and the comments were in shambles when social media users expressed their opinions about Cali’s makeup and outfit choice. The Game jumped in the comments on the Shaderoom and lashed out at critics.

I’m gonna say this once so people who aren’t her parents get it. My daughter is 12 & both of her parents are more than strict. Tiffney is a school teacher with a masters degree & 2 other degrees who is an amazing parent & is very capable of raising our daughter to be great even if I wasn’t in the picture… but I am in the picture so… Tiffney called me & asked me would it be okay for my daughter to wear the dress in the photo to the twins party… after talking to her thoroughly for over an hour about it, I agreed to let my daughter rock.. being that she wears a school uniform 5 days a week. My daughter has grown tremendously over the last year & is now almost 5’9 in height & beautiful. She’s a straight A student & is shy in most cases & dresses like a Tom boy in baggy jeans and Dr. Martin boots damn near everyday. The twins had a futuristic bday theme & my baby wanted to look great & be in full confidence going to support her friends celebration. I am her father & her protector and she is & will always be an amazing young woman. I wish everyone happy holidays & thanks for your opinions on a child that belongs to US but we GOT THIS. 🙏🏾

Janet Jackson is going back on tour for the first time in four years. The infamous legend who’s lead the way for your favorites is back to hit the stage. This time she’s bringing Atlanta’s own Chris “Ludacris” Bridges.

Janet just announced her 2023 Together Again North American Tour on social media and fans are wondering what she has up her sleeves. 

“I’m going back on tour and yes we will be together again very, very soon,” Jackson said in an Instagram video on Monday. “I miss you guys so much and I can’t wait to see you. Our opening show is April 14 in Hollywood, Florida. I’m so excited.”

Janet has broken barriers for over 30 years with grace and we know this show is gonna be fire!

Boy Meets Girl and House of Blueberry are releasing a four-piece digital fashion collection. The digital wearables are a representation of bestsellers for Boy Meets Girl in the physical world. Items such as leggings, sweatpants, and two signature T-shirts make up the virtual boutique that Roblox users can browse. Additionally, users can try on designs and create customized digital identities for their avatars. 

House of Blueberry is on a mission to build the largest digital fashion house in the universe. They have had over 20 million assets sold, 10,000 stock-keeping units and more than 400,000 unique customers. The Roblox community has 43.2 million active daily users where nearly 67% are under the age 16. In an effort to set the standard high for their digital space, Boy Meets Girl will carry its anti-bullying mission forward  into the metaverse through positive messaging in the Blueberry virtual boutique. 

Stacy Igel, founder and chief creative officer of Boy Meets Girl said, “As someone who was an early adopter of virtual markets, this was a natural partnership for me. The collection features an eight-piece sustainable kids collection, including its signature logo hoodies, sweatpants and Ts in mint, light pink, blue, black and heather grey. 

The items will be sold exclusively in Blueberry’s metaverse fashion boutique and catalog on January 10th. The T-shirt, leggings, and hoodie sell for 85 Robux and the beanie for 65 Robux.

Thom Browne Launches Women’s Pre-Fall 2023 Collection

Beginning in January 2023, Thom Browne will be the next chairman of the Council of Fashion Designers of America. The New York designer succeeds Tom Ford who held the position for three years. Brown was elected unanimously by the CFDA’s board of directors (which includes Ford) for a two-year term.

Before joining the CFDA in 2005, Brown launched his label in 2003. As of today, Brown has won the CFDA’s Menswear Designer of the Year award three times, in 2006, 2013 and 2015. He also serves on the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund’s selection committee. By 2018,  Ermenegildo Zegna bought 85 per cent of the company, valuing the brand at $500 million.

Brown is known for his mastery of tailoring and made-to-measure suits. Since its founding, the brand has grown to include full ready-to-wear men’s and women’s collections, accessories, footwear and fragrance, and runway shows in Paris and New York.

As he gears up to step into this new role next month, Browne is showing pre-fall. This commercially centered collection aims to balance creative inspiration from the classic book “Moby Dick.” The literary work of art is conveyed through fantastical silhouettes, seafaring embroideries, and marine mammal shaped handbags. The collection spans classic tweeds, tailoring and proportions, showing elongated single and double-breasted jackets with pleated skirts, and cropped sweaters or twinsets with low-waist pencil skirts for the Gen Z set. Playing on a new trend, the line features micro minidresses made from suiting fabric paired with cable knit tights and duck shoes. Colors paint the collection in pastel pink, pale gray, and darker colors like navy and clean all  black looks.
