Chrisean Rock Says Lizzo Dressed Up As Her On Halloween “For Attention”

Chrisean Rock is used to people delivering their opinions about her on social media, and she’s answering questions about Lizzo. Last Halloween, the “About Damn Time” hitmaker shared her costume on Instagram. She dressed up as Rock and even gave her rendition of the Crazy in Love star’s performance of her single, “Vibe.”

In an interview on The Jason Lee Show, the host revisited when Lizzo copied Rock’s look. “She did that for attention,” Rock quickly replied.

The rapper clarified that she didn’t hate the nod.

“I like it,” she continued. “It’s just different—sometimes it hard to come with like…it’s different when they want attention or they show love.”

Lee didn’t think Lizzo was trying to hate on Chrisean and noted he believed the hitmaker wasn’t being malicious.

“I didn’t really get mad, I’m just telling you. ‘What you think about it?’ I would be like, really gullible,” Rock further said. “I don’t know if I’m scared to be gullible. I don’t know, some people just like to laugh at me. So, I don’t know if they doing it to make me a joke or…”

Rock continued, “I like her, yeah! But I don’t know if it’s a joke or what’s up.”

Lee repeatedly emphasized, “We love Lizzo.”

Meanwhile, Chrisean and Blueface recently filmed a music video where the pair stood for a fake wedding. Rock has long stated that she will marry her rapper beau one day; however, Blueface repeatedly makes it clear that he has no intention of exchanging vows.

Doja Cat Celebrates Spooky Season With Some Pumpkin-Spiced Bikini Photos

Since going on a performance hiatus after getting throat surgery, Doja Cat’s main creative outlet has been her Instagram. There, she’s been keeping herself busy posting lighthearted content like trollish thirst traps, her whimsical makeup experiments, and debuting a new haircut that included shaving off her eyebrows. While some fans were concerned about the radical new look, Doja assured them she’s doing just fine and it’s all in good fun.

And speaking of “good fun,” as summer turns to fall, who better to ring in Spooky Season than Doja, whose love of dressing up makes her the perfect candidate to show off some elaborate costumes in time for Halloween? She’s already gotten started, kicking off the first weekend of fall with a “sexy nurse” look that was clearly inspired by the Elvira movie she’s watching in the background of her sultry selfie.

She kept the holiday mood moving with her next two posts, getting a few shots of herself in a bright-orange jack-o’-lantern bikini. “HAPPY WHAT??!?????” she captioned the post, adding a slew of jack-o’-lantern emojis. The look certainly won the approval of fellow swimwear enthusiast Coi Leray, who joked, “I want a pumpkin spice latte,” in the comments.

Doja’s ahead of the pack, but you can be certain that plenty of artists will be joining her in getting into the Halloween season. For now, check out her pumpkin-spiced selfies above.

Rihanna, The Weeknd, And Cardi B Had Some Of Music’s Best Halloween Costumes For 2021

Musicians are creative folks who have costume budgets that let them go beyond Spirit Halloween’s offerings, so they tend to really show up with killer looks during spooky season. This year was more of the same on that front, as a lot of the world’s favorite artists delivered some Halloween costume excellence in 2021.

The Weeknd is no stranger to prosthetic make-up, as he proved in his “Save Your Tears” video, and he was at it again this weekend with an impressive Don Corleone from The Godfather look.

Meanwhile, Rihanna absolutely nailed her Gunna outfit by emulating a classic fit.

The newly engaged Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian also came through with a couple of couples looks. Over the weekend, they paid tribute to the movie True Romance and a few days ago, they dressed up as Sid Vicious and Nancy Spungen.

Anderson .Paak went hard, too, sharing photos of himself as Silk Sonic cohort Bruno Mars, Prince, and Stevie Wonder.

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift has puts Cats behind her and has moved on to being a squirrel.

Charli XCX and Cardi B were on the same page, as they both embodied Morticia Addams from The Addams Family.

Finally, this one doesn’t really count, but Phoebe Bridgers has been dressing as a skeleton for well over a year.

Check out some other costumes from across the music world below.

Lizzo’s Baby Yoda Costume Has Fans Of ‘The Mandalorian’ Losing Their Minds

All the rumors are true: When it comes to Halloween costumes, few come to play the way Lizzo does. The pop star decided to go as a beloved internet character this year, donning full Baby Yoda aka Grogu garb for a look that has fans of the Disney+ Star Wars television series The Mandalorian absolutely losing their minds. Appearing at a Spotify Halloween party in LA (where was my invite??), as well as several other locations, the rapper posted photos and videos of her costume all over social media with playful captions:

Of course, celebrity Halloween costumes have become an ever popular form of content during the social media era, and a chance for us to see how the most powerful and popular among us can flex their creativity. So many celebrities only do it for the ‘gram though, and don’t take their costumes out into the real world. As you can see above, this is not the case for Lizzo, who remains realer than ever even on the spookiest holiday of the year. Just like she stands up to bullying and always congratulates her peers on their success, Lizzo is the queen of Halloween, too, and I wouldn’t be surprised if she doesn’t have more costumes coming this weekend.
