Shannon Sharpe Gets The Meme Treatment Following Alleged IG Live Sex Tape Malfunction

Shannon Sharpe’s followers were stunned on Wednesday morning after the NFL legend posted an explicit video of himself appearing to have sex with a woman on Instagram Live. Shortly afterward, he apologized for the incident and claimed to have been hacked. “Beware my @shannonsharpe84 Instagram was hacked this morning, my team and I are working vigorously to figure this out,” he wrote in a since-deleted explanation.

Fans have been making jokes on social media at Sharpe’s expense throughout the day. “That woman had Shannon Sharpe breathing like Doc Rivers on a stairmaster,” one user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote. Another remarked that he “was just lecturing Ocho about professionalism on their nightcap show.”

Sharpe hasn’t shied away from discussing his love life over the years. Back in 2023, he told Chad Johnson why he’s never gotten married during an episode of his Club Shay Shay podcast. “I would have loved to have gotten married earlier in my career, but my career was the most important. So I was no good. I was a terrible father,” he admitted at the time, as noted by Page Six. “I probably was a terrible brother, terrible son, I definitely was a terrible boyfriend because football was the most important thing, I was consumed with that because I wanted to get my grandmother and my family out of the conditions that I grew up in.”

Tyler, The Creator Calls Out Hackers & Over-Obsessive Fans For Being “F***ing Weirdos”

Tyler, The Creator keeping it real in any scenario is Grade A content. In this case, the California multi-genre superstar is speaking on the hacking community at large, as well as fans who feel they are entitled to know everything. This is one of many discussions that him and Maverick Carter have in their brand-new interview. You can find it on the YouTube channel SpringHill, which is a media company ran by Carter and LeBron James. The show is called Mavericks with Mav Carter and he interviews tons of influential figures across all sorts of industries. Their sit-down was teased online yesterday with a sub one-minute clip of him going off the new generation of rappers and how they don’t value being a true musician.

As we mentioned, the segment we are focusing on here is about internet culture and how fans want to be as connected as possible to the celebrity. As you could probably guess, Tyler, The Creator is not a huge fan of this societal shift. “Because you like a song, or because you like a movie, that gives you permission to be a f***in’ weirdo?”. That is just one of many hilarious but real quotes from the IGOR MC. This topic came to light through Carter asking him about a time when he said making music is tiring. If you know his personality, Tyler doesn’t mean that 100 percent seriously. However, because of how many “kids hack everything”.

Tyler, The Creator Is Funny But Real At The Same Time

“They wanna know who your sister is, and like what you ate for dinner, like mind your f***ing business, go the f*** outside and listen to the damn art or the music. Like mmm”. Later he adds, “Because of the internet, people don’t know personal boundaries no more and its normalized and everyone thinks this s*** is cute, it’s like ‘we don’t know each other’”. Overall, he feels that fans getting the music isn’t enough anymore. Instead, they are “showing up to doorsteps… hacking this… following n****s’ moms home because [they] like a song”.

Future, Young Thug, & More Are Victims Of Massive Leak

Songs and even full albums leaking have long been an issue in the music industry and will be for the foreseeable future. Specifically, within hip-hop, it seems as though leaks happen on a regular basis.

In fact, there’s an entire website, leakth.is, dedicated to updating the ever-growing list of leaked songs. Then there’s the side of SoundCloud and Twitter that’s fixated on the leaks of artists like Playboi Carti and Juice WRLD.

A common sentiment is that the leaked material is some of the best of the artist’s career. Especially with artists like Carti, who have a hardcore fanbase.

Future & Others Hacked

Hackers have recently gotten a hold of a huge collection of songs before they’ve been released yet again. Young Thug, Future, Gunna, 21 Savage and Young Nudy are among the targeted artists this time. The leaks began to circulate on the internet on Tuesday night (December 6).

The artist hit the hardest this time around was Atlanta spitter Young Nudy. A total of 172 of his songs have been accessed and exposed to the internet without his approval.

The 29-year old took to his Instagram Stories to express his frustration. “I don’t know if y’all know but I’m not like other rappers, bro. I’m 100% fitting to take my time out to find out 100% who exactly is leaking my music and I’m 100% gonna pull up to whatever studio it is and I’m 100% gon’ beat yo a**,” he said.

On the flip side, a leaked song can occasionally benefit an artist. A recent example of a leak working wonders for an artist is Lil Yachty and “Poland.”

Upon the leak of the clearly experimental track, it rapidly went viral on social media due to Boat’s wobbly, high-pitched hook on the track. The 25-year-old says the song wasn’t even finished.

The song currently has over 64,000 streams on Spotify, while the accompanying music video has 20 million views. It’s gone on to be one of the biggest hits of his career.
