GloRilla Says She Looks Like 2005 Rihanna, Social Media Debates

In 2022, GloRilla undeniably had one of the most impressive comeups of any new artist. Her “F.N.F.” single (and its remix) continues to chiefly blast at clubs all over the country. More recent weeks have seen her deliver on singles like “On Wat U On” with Moneybagg Yo as well as her latest solo effort, “Internet Trolls.”

People obviously love her for her musical talents and unique voice. Of course, many also love the Memphis native for her sense of humour. Unlike other female rappers, she opted to not go under the knife and get a figure-enhancing BBL. Rather, she’s been embracing her petite body, and clearly letting the world know that she thinks she’s thick – regardless of what haters may say.

Another recent comment from GloRilla that’s been making rounds online is her resemblance to Rihanna. According to the Anyways, Life’s Great… hitmaker, she and the expecting mother are “twins.” She previously made these comments during an interview on the Grammys red carpet. Following that, they’ve now become a topic of discourse on Twitter over the weekend.

It all began on Friday (February 17) afternoon, when Big Glo quote tweeted a throwback image of RiRi and Lil Kim at an award show in 2005. The Barbadian performer was roughly 17 years old at the time, and looks much younger than her current adult face that she’s grown into. The original poster noticed that the photo of Rihanna backs up the CMG artist’s claims that they’re “twins,” altering the caption to read, “Lil Kim & GloRilla, 2005.”

When she saw the post herself, the 23-year-old wrote “Been told y’all dats my twin,” earning upwards of 80K likes. Thus far, the reactions to her comment have been varied, with some vehemently denying that the rising star could pass for the Bad Gal, while others agree with her take. “She also say she thick,” one person pointed out, markedly poking fun at GloRilla’s delusion over the size of her behind.

At long last, we finally know when Don Toliver‘s highly anticipated third studio album, Love Sick will arrive. Today, the Houston-native R&B singer revealed that the album will arrive next week.

The announcement follows the release of Toliver’s steamy Kali Uchis collaboration, “4 Me.” On top of the announcement, Toliver has also shared a new collaboration with Lil Durk and GloRilla called “Leave The Club.” On the bouncy new track, Toliver and Durk detail messages they receive from women, prompting them to leave the club and come home for some naughty escapes. Upon its release, Love Sick will be accompanied by a short film, appropriately titled Love Sick: The Short Film. In the trailer, Toliver is seen welcoming people to a diner, also called Love Sick, as this clip is juxtaposed with clips of debauched nights at the club, with new music playing throughout. GloRilla Had Some Words For A Fan Who Threw A Coat At Her On Stage: ‘She Done F*cked It Up’

It looks like GloRilla is having to deal with trolls both on the internet and in real life. This Tuesday (February 14), the rapper was performing at a show in Denver, when a fan through a coat on stage. The coat then hit the “FNF” hitmaker in the face, and she was not happy.

In a video captured by fans, Glo is seen on stage, saying “Who the f*ck threw that?”

It appears the coat-thrower soon identified herself. Glo continued, saying, “Who threw it, you with these red braids? Look lil girl, don’t throw sh*t else at me. Don’t throw nun else at me, that hit me in my face.”

As one of hip-hop’s buzziest acts, Glo had lots of surprises in store for her Denver show, including jumping into the crowd and crowdsurfing. However, she opted not to do so, as a result of being hit in the face with a coat.

“She done f*cked it up,” Glo said of the coat-thrower.

Though, it doesn’t seem like being hit with a coat ruined Glo’s night on the Denver stop of her Anyways, Life’s Great tour. Shortly after the show, she shared a clip from the concert on Instagram, saying that the fans in Denver were “lit af.”

You can check out both clips above.

GloRilla Snaps On Fan Who Throws Jacket In Her Face

GloRilla continues to blossom in the public eye but that’s also made her a target for some unwanted interactions with fans. Last week, the rapper found herself in the middle of a light altercation following a club appearance. She claimed the promoter paid her $30K for a walkthrough while Yo Gotti confirmed that it costs a whole lot more to watch Glo perform. Though the promoter later said he was under the impression that she would perform, the miscommunication created friction between the rapper and her audience. Unfortunately, this left fans upset and one fan tried to get at Glo.

As GloRilla tried to leave the venue, one fan threw a bottle of water at her. Glo’s security quickly intervened but the clip immediately went viral on Twitter. Though the fan clearly felt that they didn’t get their money’s worth to see GloRilla in the flesh, her actions truly revealed how entitled fans are toward artists. Later on, one person claimed GloRilla was shook to return to Oakland, where the incident took place, but the Memphis rapper quickly shut it down.

GloRilla Fan Ruins The Show

GloRilla fans can’t seem to control themselves these days. The Memphis rapper performed at a concert when one fan threw a jacket at Glo. Unfortunately, that interrupted the whole flow of the show and the Memphis star had to put things on pause to issue a stern warning to the individual. “Who the f*ck threw that?” Glo asked the crowd after the jacket hit her in the face. After scouring the audience, she finally identified the culprit.

“You with the red braids?” she said, pointing towards the person as the instrumental to “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” played in the background. At that point, GloRilla issued a stern warning to the person. “Now, listen, lil’ girl. Don’t throw shit on stage,” she said as her back-up dancers came to her side. “Don’t throw no jacket at me. That hit me in the face,” she said. “See, I was just about to jump in the crowd. She fucked it up,” Glo added before taking a selfie with one of her dancers. Check out the post above.
