Stephen A. Smith Trolls Cowboys Fans With Epic Monologue

If you are a big Stephen A. fan, then you know the kind of relationship he has with the Dallas Cowboys. Overall, this distaste for the Cowboys mostly extends to the fanbase. As many already know, Cowboys fans are fairly delusional about their team. They always think their team is going to win the Super Bowl, although they rarely make it past the Wild Card round.

Tonight, the Cowboys will be going up against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in what should be a good matchup. This is going to be a make-or-break moment for Dak Prescott, who needs a big playoff win on his resume. If he loses, however, pundits like Stephen A. Smith are going to eat him for lunch.

Stephen A. Makes His Mark

Today, First Take was being hosted in none other than Tampa Bay, Florida. Since the Bucs won their division, they are hosting this game, despite having four fewer wins than the Cowboys. In true Stephen A. fashion, he decided to make an exceptionally fashionable entrance at the game.

In the clip down below, you can find Smith wearing a Cowboy hat all while riding the escalator. There were plenty of Cowboy fans in attendance for the live show, and he made sure to taunt them with some anti-Cowboys rhetoric. Of course, Michael Irvin was right behind him as he attempted to stop the madness.

If you are a Cowboys fan, you are probably feeling extremely nervous right now. The team never wins games that they are supposed to, and this could be another example of that. Hopefully, for Cowboys fans, Stephen A. has nothing to gloat about on Tuesday.

Let us know who you think will win on Monday night, in the comments down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from the sports world.

Ravens’ Rumored Plan For Lamar Jackson Revealed

Lamar Jackson is one of the best quarterbacks in the entire NFL. Unfortunately, however, he has had to deal with some serious injury issues. Ultimately, a knee injury kept him out of the team’s Wild Card game on Sunday. Consequently, the team lost by just a touchdown. Had Jackson been there, it could have been a different story.

Of course, Jackson is currently dealing with a contract dispute. The Ravens superstar wanted more guaranteed money than the Ravens were willing to spend. Now, heading into the offseason, the Ravens have a dilemma on their hands. Effectively, they need to make some big decisions in regard to Jackson.

Lamar Jackson Franchise Tag

Subsequently, there is a ton of reporting being done in regard to Jackson. For instance, Ian Rapoport was on Good Morning Football this morning where he spoke about the Ravens’ plans. Overall, the Ravens want to keep Jackson and will offer him a long-term deal.

However, if Jackson doesn’t like the guaranteed money aspect, there is a good chance that he will decline. From there, the Ravens will just hit him with the franchise tag, as they would rather not lose him.

In a report from Peter King, however, it was noted that the Ravens could use a different kind of franchise tag. This tag would allow other teams to offer Jackson a deal. From there, the Ravens can either match it, or let him walk for some draft compensation.

Per Peter King:

I think it’s going to be hard for Jackson to get a long-term contract without significant protection for the team. Which means, to me, a significant likelihood that the Ravens may use the non-exclusive franchise tag for Jackson. If he agrees to a contract with another team, the Ravens could match it or be awarded two first-round picks (or a different deal the two teams could negotiate) if the Ravens do not match it.

Based on these reports, it is clear that the Ravens know they need Jackson. Whether or not they will throw the proper money at him, remains to be seen.

Aaron Donald Appears To Tease Retirement On Twitter

NFL star Aaron Donald sent Los Angeles Rams fans into a frenzy on Sunday by seemingly teasing his retirement on Twitter. The 31-year-old changed the bio on his page to “former NFL D Lineman for the Rams.”

After followers began taking note of the change, Donald reverted his bio back to what it was previously. He dropped the “former.”

Donald’s wife, Erica, responded to the rumors, telling fans to “chillax” with a gif from The Office.

Donald hasn’t been shy about considering retirement in recent years. After the Los Angeles Rams won the Super Bowl in 2022, the three-time Defensive Player of the Year admitted he might be done.

“I’ll be fine regardless, but me talking about retirement, that was happening way before we won a Super Bowl. I’ve been saying that since I got into the league I was going to play eight years and be done,” Donald explained. “That’s just what I’ve been saying. … If I was to play, it’s just to win another Super Bowl, but at the end of the day, it’s still a business and it got to make sense to me and my family.”

Retirement for Donald would come after one of the Rams’ most disappointing seasons in years. The reigning Super Bowl champion team won just five games while several of their top players suffered injuries. Additionally, they gave up their first round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Check out Aaron Donald’s updated bio on Twitter below, as well as his wife, Erica’s response.

Sean McVay Reveals His Coaching Future

Sean McVay is easily one of the best coaches in the NFL. He became a head coach at a pretty young age, and he immediately made an impact with the Rams. In fact, within just a few years, he had the team in the Super Bowl. However, they ultimately closed to the Tom Brady Patriots in a stinker of a game.

Subsequently, McVay went back to work and won the Super Bowl with the Rams last season. Unfortunately, the team has been horrible this past year and has missed the playoffs. Amidst all of this, McVay has been teasing a retirement from coaching in the NFL.

Sean McVay Finally Decides

These past few weeks have led to a whole bunch of speculation about McVay. Some believe he is on his way out, while others believe he will be back. Overall, there have been some polarizing opinions about this saga, especially since McVay signed an extension.

Well, today, McVay finally clued people into what he plans on doing. According to the Rams social media account, McVay has decided to remain with the team next season. This is obviously great news, especially since many players will be coming back healthy next year.

Unfortunately for McVay and the Rams, the league has started to catch up to them. There are some amazing teams in the NFC right now, and their path will become exponentially harder next season. However, McVay is seen as a coaching genius, and we’re sure he will figure things out.

Jadeveon Clowney and the Cleveland Browns have been going through a breakup as of late. Clowney has made it clear that he will be leaving the Browns at the end of the season. Overall, his time with the team was fun, although it was becoming clear that he wanted out.

In the meantime, he has made some interesting comments to the media. In fact, one of those comments came at the expense of fellow defensive star Myles Garrett. While speaking to the media, Clowney said “You’re all trying to get [Garrett] into the Hall of Fame instead of winning games.”

Skip Bayless Explains Why Lamar Jackson Quit On Ravens

Skip Bayless has had a busy few weeks. Between insulting Shannon Sharpe and disrespecting Damar Hamlin, Bayless is not very popular right now. However, he is still very much employed by Fox Sports, and that is definitely not going to change anytime soon.

Whether you love him or hate him, it is clear that Skip is very entertaining. Overall, one could even liken what he does to performance art. He is always putting on a persona, and it is ultimately what has kept him so popular, for better or for worse.

Skip Bayless on Lamar Jackson

Today, Skip and Shannon spoke about the Lamar Jackson situation. Jackson is injured and will not play for the Ravens this weekend during their Wild Card game against the Bengals. Consequently, Bayless believes Lamar is actually giving up on the Ravens. However, he is only doing so as the Ravens gave up on him first.

“If Lamar wanted to play for his team this weekend, he would. If he had been paid, he’d be out there. He quit on them because they quit on him,” Skip said. “Lamar Jackson wouldn’t think twice about playing vs the Bengals on Sunday if he had been paid. It’s all about the contract.”

Sharpe echoed these sentiments as he said “two things that help injuries the most: ice and money.” Needless to say, both Undisputed hosts are firm on the idea that had Jackson been paid properly, he would be on the field right now.

Jackson himself has stated that his injury is pretty bad and that he wishes he could play. Overall, it has not been a great couple of seasons for Jackson who has consistently gotten injured toward the end.

Let us know what you think of Bayless’ take, in the comments section down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from the sports world.
