Bengals’ Germaine Pratt Screams At Teammate Joseph Ossai For Late Game Mistake

Bengals linebacker Germaine Pratt was caught on video screaming at his teammate, Joseph Ossai, for a critical late-game error during the team’s 23-20 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Conference Championship. Ossai drew a flag for unnecessary roughness after a late hit on Patrick Mahomes. The penalty put the Chiefs in a perfect position for a game-winning field goal.

“It’s my fucking last year. Why the fuck you touch the QB!?” Pratt yelled at Ossai while the team was walking back to the locker room.

Cowboys star linebacker responded to the clip on Twitter writing, “This lame asf!”

Later, Pratt clarified what he meant by it being his “last year.” He explained that this is the final season of his contract and, while he’d like to return, he’s not certain the team will want to resign him.

Despite Pratt’s outburst, many of Ossai’s other teammates were more supportive. Quarterback Joe Burrow emphasized that one play doesn’t determine an entire game.

“There were a lot of plays other than that that could have turned the tide in that game and won us that game,” Burrow told reporters. “So that’s not the only one.”

Ossai expressed gratitude for the teammates that had his back.

“It means the world to me,” he said. “These guys mean a lot to me. We come every day and we work hard for each other, and to know that they have my back — it’s giving me peace right now.”

Mahomes also addressed jokes about Burrow’s success in Arrowhead Stadium.

“This team, man, we played together,” Mahomes said after the win. “I said it from the beginning, when we were in the locker room, I said we got to be together. And this team stepped up against a great football team, and we showed this place, it’s Arrowhead, it’s not Burrowhead out here.”

Joey Bosa Uses Homophobic Language During Exchange With Eagles Fans

Joey Bosa got into a heated argument with fans in Philidelphia prior to the Eagles’ game against the San Francisco 49ers. The incident comes after the Chargers lost to the Jaguars in the Wild Card round after forfeting a 27-point lead.

“Bosa,” one Eagles fan repeatedly yelled. “When do the Chargers play?”

The Chargers linebacker then remarked that the fan recording the incident was Snapchatting his “butt buddies.”

“No just videoing you — the guy who’s not playing today!” he replied.

From there, the fan poked fun at Bosa for being fined $55,546 from the NFL for unsportsmanlike conduct in that game.

“They’re good, because I can afford it,” Bosa said back. “I’m fucking rich, you fucking broke bitch.”

Bosa was in attendance at the game in support of his brother, Nick, who plays for the 49ers. The Eagles ended up running away with the game after a critical injury to 49ers’ quarterback Brock Purdy. The last pick in the 2022 NFL Draft went down with an elbow injury early in the contest. He ended up returning to the field in the third quarter. Regardless, the Eagles won 31-7.

With the victory, the Eagles advance to Super Bowl LVII. The team’s opponent will be determined when the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday night.

Super Bowl LVII is scheduled for February 12. In addition to the game, Rihanna will be headlining the halftime show.

Stetson Bennett, Georgia QB, Arrested For Public Intoxication Charge

Authorities arrested Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Stetson Bennett on Sunday (January 29) for a misdemeanor public intoxication charge. While college football fans just saw them win national championships back-to-back with a 2022 season victory, this shocked many. Moreover, the incident reportedly occurred in the morning hours of Sunday in Dallas.

Furthermore, police took Bennett into custody at around 6 a.m. CT after they received calls about a man banging on doors. After arriving near 1600 Tribeca Way in Dallas and apprehending him, they transported the QB to the City Detention Center. Overall, not much is known about the incident except for the charge: public intoxication.

“The preliminary investigation found when officers arrived, they located the man, Stetson Bennett, 25, and determined he was intoxicated,” police stated to ESPN. “Bennett was taken into custody, transported to the City Detention Center and charged with public intoxication.”

Although this news would turn heads on any day, it’s particularly notable to see it happen so close to championship season. Moreover, the Bulldogs finished the 2022 season with a 15-0 record and SEC championship. What’s more is that the year prior, they obtained their first national championship since 1980.

As for Bennett, he passed for 4,127 yards with 27 passing touchdowns, 10 rushing touchdowns, and seven interceptions. All things considered, he capped off his Georgia career with a big win over TCU for the second championship in a row. Also, authorities did release him from jail after this arrest.

With all that in mind, ESPN‘s NFL Draft expert Mel Kiper thinks Bennett could go as early as the third round of April’s draft. However, this news continues a tough off-season for the Bulldogs. Previously this month, offensive lineman Devin Willock and recruiting staffer Chandler LeCroy passed away after a car crash.

Moreover, on January 15, Willock was riding in the passenger seat of an SUV that crashed in Athens at close to 2:45 a.m. local time. While LeCroy drove the vehicle, the car left the roadway and struck two power poles and several trees. Willock, who was a 20-year-old redshirt sophomore, passed away at the scene. Meanwhile, the 24-year-old LeCroy succumbed to her injuries at a local hospital.

Still, what do you think of Stetson Bennett’s arrest for public intoxication? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments down below. Also, as always, stay tuned to HNHH for the lates news and notable events in the world of football.

Shannon Sharpe Predicts NFL Championship Weekend

Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless have had a ton of great debates involving the NFL so far this season. Overall, there have been a lot of narratives to go around. Now, however, we have reached the end of the season as four teams remain in the playoffs.

Those teams are the Kansas City Chiefs, Cincinnati Bengals, Philadelphia Eagles, and San Francisco 49ers. These are four teams who were dominant this year, and they definitely deserve to be where they are. Now, they will battle it out for a spot in the Super Bowl.

Shannon Sharpe Makes His Picks

During Undisputed today, Shannon Sharpe made his predictions as to who he thinks will make the Super Bowl. Firstly, Sharpe predicted the AFC Championship game. Below, you can see that he took the Bengals.

“As bad as I want to pick Mahomes at home, the Bengals have the better football team,” he said.

Secondly, Sharpe gave his take on the NFC Championship game. Below, he gave his case for why the 49ers will eventually win the game. However, he did note that it will be a very close one.

“This game is really evenly matched. The 49ers will come up with a gameplan to neutralize Jalen Hurts’ legs and win a close one, 23-20,” Sharpe explained.

These games are very hard to predict, although Sharpe gave some good reasoning here. A Bengals-49ers Super Bowl would be a ton of fun, however, it still remains to be seen if Brock Purdy can get it done this late in the season.

Give us your predictions, in the comments section down below. Do you agree with Sharpe, or is he way off? Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from the sports world.
