Despite popping up occasionally in some NSFW moments with wife Binaca Censori around Italy, Kanye West has transitioned into living a mostly private life. Some of the only times we get details into his strange world is through the court system. Previously the rapper has been subject to plenty of lawsuits in recent years. They’ve been related to workspaces for his GAP collaboration, his DONDA Academy schools, and more. Now a new lawsuit comes from a man who was fired by West for failing to perform some strange requests while remodeling his home.

According to TMZ, Tony Saxon is now suing Kanye West. Saxon was reportedly hired in 2021 to serve as the project manager on a remodel of West’s Malibu home. He was while also serving as caretaker and security for the property. In the lawsuit there are plenty of alarming details about interactions between the pair. Saxon claims that he worked 16-hour days on the property and was only paid for one week of work in two months. Things reached a climax when West asked Saxon to remove all the windows and electricity from the property and bring in large generators instead. Saxon expressed concern for the safety issues and fire hazards the plan would create and refused. Consequently he was fired by West. In his lawsuit, he’s asking for damages and unpaid wages for various labor code violations.

Kanye West Sued For Asking For No Windows Or Electricity In Home

If that sounds familiar, it’s because windows have been involved in previous lawsuits made against West. A lawsuit made over West’s DONDA Academy claimed that the school didn’t have any windows. It was reportedly left that way because the rapper “did not like glass.”

Spice From “L&HH” Blasted For Calling Bambi A “Giraffe” After Erica Mena Scandal

Shortly after the Erica Mena firing from “Love & Hip Hop” for calling Spice a “monkey,” it seems like the zoo isn’t closed just yet. Moreover, Spice herself got some more backlash for calling Bambi a “giraffe” during a recent altercation on the show. As such, fans are now divided: should this be held to the same standards of racism as Mena’s incident or is this just an overblown response? Of course, plenty of people are on either side of the coin, with others arguing that neither insult is appropriate. Regardless, it’s a pretty drama-heavy show, but clearly that backfired in a lot of areas, particularly with the show’s production.

After the Erica Mena outrage, many questioned how networks allow content like this to make it to airwaves in the first place. In fact, some took even more issue with them firing Mena because it was purely a response to fans’ backlash for her comments. Regardless, they waited until after the spectacle to give their verdict, which many saw as exploitative. It’s unclear if this instance with Spice and Bambi will yield similar results, thought assumptions point to “no.”

Fans Divided Over Spice & Bambi Argument

For one, calling a Black person a “monkey” has different racial and negative connotations than calling someone a “giraffe.’ Neither is derogatory on impact, but many fans believe the attack towards Spice followed a history of questionable behavior and statements from Mena. However, there are some circles in which the term “giraffe” can also be derogatory, particularly to people of African descent. As such, context turns something simply brash and argumentative into something much more sinister. Maybe Spice didn’t mean to do so with her insult, but the parallels and proximity between the cases make it hard to overlook.

Meanwhile, she responded to the Erica Mena situation by dismissing claims that she insulted her son. As she puts it, it was more of a question of parenting than anything else. Still, it’s possible she has more to answer for and explain now, but people can sweep hist under the rug more easily than the example against her. Georgia Teacher Fired for Reading Gender Identity Book To Fifth-Grade Students

A Georgia teacher was fired for reading a book about gender identity to her fifth-grade class.

The Cobb County School Board voted 4-3 on Thursday night to fire fifth-grade teacher Katie Rinderle over the book “My Shadow is Purple” which she purchased at the school’s book fair.

Rinderle had been on paid leave until the school board made its decision. Her dismissal is effective immediately, 11 Alive News reported.

Rinderle read the book to her fifth-grade students, ages 9 and 10, at Due West Elementary school in March.

She said her students chose the book from several options for her to read – even though they are old enough to read.

“My Shadow is Purple” features a non-binary boy character whose “shadow” wears a dress. The book focuses on challenging society’s gender norms.

After reading to her class, Rinderle and the students discussed the book’s subject.

“That’s what our conversation was really focusing on … the power of not only embracing your unique differences and abilities, but then valuing those in others and learning from those,” Rinderle said in a video from the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Less than a month after giving her students an assignment on gender identity, a parent complained to the Cobb County School District.

The school district said her choice of book violated Georgia’s Divisive Concepts Law, which was passed in 2022. The law gives parents more control over what’s taught in the classroom.

Rinderle’s attorney, Craig Goodmark, said teachers statewide don’t know what’s legal under the new law.

“The legislature has teachers in fear for their jobs, they don’t know what they can say and what they can’t say,” he told 11 Alive News.

“It’s impossible for a teacher to know what’s in the minds of parents when she starts her lesson,” he added.

“And for parents to be able, with a political agenda from outside the classroom, to come in and have a teacher fired, is simply unfair, it’s not right, and it’s terrible for Georgia’s education system.”

Rinderle’s termination hearing was held on Aug. 10. A disciplinary panel recommended that she keep her job. But the Cobb County School District rejected their recommendation, according to Fox 5 News.

Goodmark said he and a teacher’s union will consider appealing the termination and/or filing a wrongful termination lawsuit.

He added that Rinderle’s teacher’s license is not affected and she could go to work for another school district.

ESPN Fires Reporter For Insult Caught On Camera

ESPN recently fired reporter Marly Rivera after her actions were directed toward another journalist. The incident occurred earlier this month at Yankee Stadium. Rivera supposedly had a scheduled interview with Yankees star Aaron Judge. However, reporter Ivon Gaete had shown up at the same time, hoping to speak with the Yankees star. According to sources, Rivera grew tired of Gaete looking to speak with Judge. However, that’s when Rivera lashed out, insulting Gaete.

The moment was caught on camera, showing Rivera directing her comments at Gaete. In the video, you can see Judge awkwardly in the middle of the heated exchange with Rivera and Gaete. However, the network reportedly fired Rviera after reviewing the footage of the incident. If Rivera has any defense for her actions, the footage being released doesn’t put her in a great light. If you were paying attention to the news yesterday, you would have seen that Tucker Carlson was fired from Fox News. Overall, this came across as quite shocking for a number of factors. Firstly, Carlson brings in the most viewers for the network. Moreover, he is someone who has a large political influence within the Conservative movement. Although some will maintain that his beliefs are reprehensible, he still gets a ton of viewers. In the past, that is all that has mattered for Fox.

However, the station recently settled with Dominion Voting Systems in a lawsuit that has cost them over three-quarters of a billion dollars. Tucker Carlson was largely at fault for the lawsuit due to his rhetoric about a “stolen election.” That said, there are plenty of theories that this was the catalyst for Carlson being let go. Furthermore, some have theorized that it could have been a much larger lawsuit had the network maintained Carlson’s services.

In a new article from Vanity Fair, it was revealed that Carlson was given the news on Monday morning by Suzanne Scott. Scott is the CEO of Fox News and reportedly never gave the host a clear reason for his dismissal. Consequently, Tucker Carlson was reportedly “stunned” by the news. At the time of his firing, he was looking to sign a long-term deal with Fox, and most insiders figured he was a lock to get it. Regardless, there are also reports that this came from “above.” This would imply Rupert Murdoch is giving the final say on all of this. Either way, Carlson is out of a job.

His dismissal came on the same day as Don Lemon’s firing from CNN. Once again, Lemon was very surprised by the news and slammed CNN on Twitter. Don Lemon has proven to be a very controversial figure over at CNN. According to numerous reports, there have been some allegations of misconduct from the news anchor. Additionally, he was recently suspended for his comments about Nikki Haley. Overall, Lemon was becoming a bit of a liability for the network. However, they never made any indication that his job might be in jeopardy. Although now, things have changed drastically. According to Lemon himself, he has been fired by CNN.

This comes on the exact same day that Tucker Carlson was fired by Fox News. When it comes to Carlson, no one actually knows the reason for his termination. However, in the case of Don Lemon, it seems a bit more cut and dry. Regardless, Lemon is very unhappy with this new development. In a statement released on Twitter, Lemon went in on the network and its executives. Simply put, he did not expect to be let go in this manner.

GloRilla’s Former Bodyguard Fired For Not Beating Up Person Who Threw Water

GloRilla’s former bodyguard said that she fired him for not going back to beat up the person who threw water at her at an Oakland venue. Moreover, he maintained that he did his job in the moment: protecting Glo and making sure that she got out of there safely. However, the Memphis MC apparently told him to go back to the venue and make a vengeful attack on the culprit. “I did my job, it’s complete,” he said during a video rant. To be fair, he said that he would’ve been much harsher to the crowd if they actually posed a threat or attacked them outright.

However, he stood by the fact that the person who threw the water was throwing it from the sides in the crowd. As such, he didn’t have much reason to get confrontational, as they weren’t directly in the rapper’s face. In fact, the former bodyguard said that he wouldn’t risk losing his license or catching an assault charge for petty and unwarranted retaliation. It’s not like Glo was scared or directly in danger, and the bodyguard defended the fact that he did what he had to do and nothing more.

However, both Yo Gotti and GloRilla clapped back and said that they didn’t come to such an agreement. Not only that, but they claimed that the promoters did not pay them enough for an actual performance.

Former Nashville cop Maegan Hall who was fired in December for sleeping with half of the police force has filed a lawsuit against the city of La Vergne.

In her lawsuit, Hall, 26, claims she was “sexually groomed” by other officers and the police chief.

According to the 51-page federal lawsuit obtained by the NY Post, Hall claims she felt trapped and exploited by the “predators” on the male-dominated police force.

“Where Ms. Hall sought role models at her new job, she instead found predators,” the lawsuit says. “In place of offering professional development, her supervisors and the chief of police groomed her for sexual exploitation.”

The lawsuit went on to say the officers abused their authority “to systematically disarm her resistance and entrap her in degrading and abusive sexual relationships, even sharing tips on the best ways to manipulate and exploit her.”

Hall and six other officers, including La Vergne Police Chief Burrel “Chip” Davis, were fired for engaging in oral sex and other intimate acts while on the job.

She said she first became intimate with ex-officers Lewis Powell and Ty McGowan a year after she joined the police force in 2020 at age 24.

The lawsuit names the city of La Vergne, Powell, McGowan and Davis as defendants.

Hall claims the ex-police chief “encouraged this behavior and shared in the pornography and sexual fantasy of mutually abusing Ms. Hall with his trusted supervisor, Ty McGowan.”

Hall is accused of being intimate with other married officers in patrol cars, a hot tub and on a “family” Memorial Day party boat.

In an interview with an investigator, Hall admitted she had a threesome with one cop and his wife. She told the investigator she “got stupid” and “got desperate” in the midst of a divorce.

Unable to find another job in law enforcement, Hall filed a lawsuit seeking an unspecified amount in damages for lost wages, medical expenses, mental suffering, emotional distress and “reputational harm.”
