Tory Lanez Requests Move to General Population in Prison

Tory Lanez reportedly wants to be moved to the general population. Last week, Lanez was transported to a prison and has been isolated in his cell.

According to TMZ, one of Lanez’s lawyers, Ceasar McDowell, Lanez revealed that he would like to be placed in the general population. Lanez is currently placed in a protective wing for high-profile inmates but wants general treatment.

Lanez currently gets frequent guard checks and escorts to meals but wants to be moved to a more normal treatment. According to McDowell, Lanez believes he can handle himself and thinks he can fit in with prison culture.

In addition, Lanez may want to transition into the general population to take advantage of help and support groups.

After being sentenced to ten years for shooting Megan Thee Stallion, Tory Lanez was sent to North Kern State Prison in Delano, California, which is been known to be one of the most murderous prisons in California. It has been reported that just this year alone, multiple inmates have lost their lives in North Kern.

Authorities in North Kern are currently investigating the death of 25-year-old Ricardo Saldivar, who was found dead in his cell on the 4th of July.

TMZ reports that Tory can stay out of the general population for long periods through skilled or unskilled labor jobs that will pay anywhere between $0.08 to $0.30/hour.

J. Prince Jr. had some choice words for Gunna. In a video he posted online, J. Prince Jr. held a mouse he found in his swimming pool but named him Gunna. “Fukumean” played in the background of the message.

“Gunna, what you doing in a real nigga pool,” J. Prince Jr. joked. “You better stay your ass out my pool. I’m trying to make sure you ain’t saying Mob Ties is this and Mob Ties is that. Please don’t. We are a legally held business that does business and don’t do nothing else. Stop it Gunna!”

Throughout the run of the YSL Rico trial, fans have wondered what role Gunna has played in Young Thug’s continued stay in jail. After Gunna was freed on an Alford Plea, rumors ran rampant that he snitched on Thugger. Young Thug’s father offers some context.

Gunna maintained his innocence against snitching allegations and continued to call for the release of Young Thug. Appearing in an interview last week with Infamous Sylvia, Young Thug’s father, Jeffrey Williams Sr., stated he loves Gunna.

“Let me try to help the attorney clarify that a little simpler,” Williams Sr. said. “Gunna hasn’t done anything whatsoever that can hurt us on this case, period.”

Bone Thugs N Harmony’s Krayzie Bone Continues To Fight For His Life In L.A. Hospital

Several reports have conformed that Krayzie Bone of the legendary, Cleveland-based quartet Bone Thugs N Harmony has been in a Los Angeles hospital fighting for his life ever since he checked himself in on September 22. It was reported that Krayzie, whose real name is Anthony Henderson initially came to the hospital after coughing up blood.

According to reports, Henderson suffers from sarcoidosis, an inflammatory disease, It was stated that Bpne had a CAT scan where doctors discovered his artery was leaking in his lungs. Bone is currently sedated and on a breathing respirator.

Usher has set the stage for a grand return with the upcoming release of his ninth studio album, COMING HOME, scheduled for Feb. 11, 2023. The album includes the already popular hit single “Good Good,” featuring 21 Savage and Summer Walker. Notably, the track stormed to #1 on Billboard’s R&B Digital Song Sales Chart upon its release and has continued to make waves at Urban, Rhythm, and Top 40 radio stations.

“Good Good” also secured prominent placements, gracing the covers of Spotify’s Are & Be for a week and Apple Music’s R&B Now for two consecutive weeks. It further rose to the #1 position on Shazam in cities like Atlanta, Memphis, San Francisco, New Orleans, Philadelphia, and more.

Usher didn’t stop there. He surprised fans with “Boyfriend” and a mesmerizing video featuring the Emmy Award-winning entertainer Keke Palmer, creating a viral sensation that left an indelible mark on pop culture.

“We’ve put a lot of thought and creativity into this new album to tell a story that is open to interpretation and that will connect with people in different ways. This partnership will see gamma exclusively handle the distribution and marketing of all music released by mega.

“I’ve known USHER since we met as teenagers in 1997. MC Hammer Shuts Down Haters Over “One-Hit Wonder” Accusation

MC Hammer shut down a hater on Twitter, over the weekend, who foolishly labeled him a “one hit wonder.” ICYMI: The world was in a trance with Hammer who had every huge endorsement (before it was a thing), had kids fainting a la Michael Jackson style and put on a jaw-dropping show before The Renaissance Tour was created. Hammer dropped his credentials, before rapper Chuck D of Public Enemy.jumped in to verify Hammer’s legend status in the game.

After sharing a video from the Academy of Social Sciences in Australia, one fan told him to stay in his lane. “He’s a ‘has been’ who knows fuck all about what is going on in Australia. He should stick to holding his own government accountable, like the cocaine owner in the White House,” they wrote. MC Hammer fired back: “Ouuuch! Might I remind you that a ‘has been’ is bigger than a ‘Never Was’” From there, another user labeled him a “one hit wonder,” to which he responded: “I got at least 19 charted hits … which one made you wonder.”

Chuck D joined in the convo in defense of Hammer. “More importantly I saw 15,000 -20,000 arena people…get exhausted and worn out watching you @mchammer while singing those hits. Yes NEWGENS it did happen years on end. No myth no hype,” he wrote. MC Hammer replied: “Always appreciate you and our journey @MrChuckD.” Check out two of the posts below.

The “one hit” the aforementioned fan was referencing was likely Hammer’s iconic 1990 song, “U Can’t Touch This,” which samples the opening riff of Rick James’ 1981 single “Super Freak.” The hit won a Grammy Award for Best R&B Song and a Grammy Award for Best Rap Solo Performance. It was also the first rap song to be nominated for a Grammy Award for Record of the Year at the 33rd Annual Grammy Awards in 1991.

WGA, AMPTP Reach Historic Contract Agreement To End 146-Day Writers Strike

Finally! Hollywood can bring back our shows.The WGA and major studios and streamers have reached a tentative agreement on a new three-year contract that promises to end the 146-day strike that has taken a heavy toll across the content industry.

Negotiators for the Writers Guild of America and Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers reached the finish line Sunday after five consecutive days of negotiations. Day 4 on Saturday mostly involved lawyers for the guild and AMPTP hashing out the fine print of language around complicated and groundbreaking additions to the WGA’s Minimum Basic Agreement. The details of language around the use of generative AI in content production was one of the last items that the sides worked on before closing the pact.

“We can say, with great pride, that this deal is exceptional – with meaningful gains and protections for writers in every sector of the membership,” the WGA’s negotiating committee wrote in an email to sent to members at 7:10 p.m. PT

The strike itself will still be in force through the guild’s contract approval and ratification process. But picketing has been suspended as of Sunday night. Guild leaders are expected to vote on Tuesday on whether to formally lift the strike order against AMPTP signatories.

“To be clear, no one is to return to work until specifically authorized to by the Guild. We are still on strike until then,” the message to members stated.

Details of the contract agreement won’t be released until the final language is completed over the coming days. WGA leadership expects to vote on Tuesday on the final pact. First the negotiating committee will vote on whether to recommend that the deal go to a vote of the board of the WGA West and council of WGA East. Assuming both of those votes approve the pact, the contract will be sent out for ratification by WGA’s 11,000 members.

“Though we are eager to share the details of what has been achieved with you, we cannot do that until the last ‘i’ is dotted,” the message to members stated. “To do so would complicate our ability to finish the job. So, as you have been patient with us before, we ask you to be patient again – one last time.”

President Joe Biden Goes Viral After Blundering LL Cool J’s Name And Referring To Him As ‘Boy’ During Speech

This weekend, social media attacked President Joe Biden after he seemed to forget rapper LL Cool J’s name and referred to him as “boy”, while delivering a speech to the Congressional Black Caucus. The president, however, quickly corrected himself, allegedly mixing up LL’s real name– James Todd Smith.

LL Cool J and MC Lyte were on deck to receive the Phoenix Award at the annual awards dinner in Washington D.C. during the CBC’s 52nd Annual Legislative Conference. They were recognised for their musical contributions.

“Two of the great artists of our time representing the groundbreaking legacy of hip hop in America , LL Jay Cool J, uhhh…” Joe said, as the crowd laughed at his gaffe.

“By the way that boy — that man’s got biceps bigger than my thighs,” he added. After the blunder, Joe acknowledged MC Lyte, drawing a round of applause from the audience.

Following the blunder, the president was trending on X after the video of the incident went viral. “Thank you for this moment @JoeBiden it’s going to be a great song,” one user joked in the comment section of the video, shared by RNC Research. “Old habits die hard “Boy” Not a joke,” one said. “Ohhh god make it stop PLLLEASE . he’s making a total mockery of this country,” said one user, while another wrote, “Boy? Cringe…”.

“MAKE IT STOP,” one user said, while another asked, “Was LL insulted? Why no response from him?” “Joey loves that word ‘boy’. Wonder where he picked that up?” said one user. Another wrote, “Oooohhhh wowwwwww HE DONE REALY MESSED UP WITH THIS ONE”. “Embarrassing……Priceless,” said one user.

Megan Thee Stallion made a big entrance to a surprised crowd during Beyoncé’s performance. The two Houston divas performed a live rendition of their popular collaboration, Savage (Remix).

Megan slightly twerked as she rapped her verse along with the crown as Bey watched proudly from the top of the stage. Beyoncé shared with the stadium how proud she was of Megan. “I love you, Queen,” Bey shouted to which Megan shrieked, “I love you, Beyoncé.”
