Mopreme Shakur, Tupac’s brother, has revealed he received a phone call from Diddy where the Bad Boy mogul denied any involvement in the death of the iconic Death Row rapper.
Speaking on The Art of Dialogue, Mopreme revealed the phone call happened “back in the day.
“Puff called me back in the day,” Mopreme shared. “He was like, ‘I just want you to know I ain’t have nothing to do with your brother’s….. I know who you are, but we never met and I just want to call you man to man and let you know that I ain’t have nothing to do with your brother’s death.’”
Mopreme revealed that the phone call came after the Los Angeles Times released an article that pointed to Puff’s involvement. I told him I appreciate the call, but the truth has yet to come out, so we gon’ see.”
Adonis is following in the footsteps of his did Drake, dropping his first official track, “My Man Freestyle.” Fans got their first taste of the track at the end of “Daylight” on the recently released For All The Dogs album.
Lil Esso produced the new single and has arrived on streaming services, hearing Adonis with child-friendly bars about his iPad, seeing his dad, playing basketball and more.

Mugshots of Hip-Hop icons Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G. will soon be auctioned. The never-seen photos will go on sale by GottaHaveRockandRoll on Oct. 25 and Nov. 10. Also, clear video of Biggie’s final performance at the Sting festival in Jamaica from December 1996 will be available.
According to TMZ, Biggie performed in a wheelchair with his leg in a case during the performance. The winner of the acution will have full copyright privileges of the video.
The video is expected to sell between $1-$2 million. The images are expected to bring in a high price tag as well.
Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign have completed a collaboration album and are now seeking a partner company to release it. According to Billboard, Ye is mulling over five offers and “will make a decision soon.”
Ye and Ty Dolla originally targeted Oct. 12 for the album but are now looking for another Q4 date. The report states that while the music is considered the best West has made since 2018, executives are concerned with his return timing amid the conflict between Israel and Hamas. Some labels have already passed on distributing the project, while one startup powerhouse, Too Lost, is believed to be a potential partner.
Kanye West is ready to roll out his next album. According to Italian newspaper II Messagero, Ye will debut his new album at the RCF Arena on Oct. 20. The arena’s capacity is 80,000 people.

On Sunday, October 1st, Ye hosted a private listening event for his new album inside a recording studio overseas in Italy. Via The Sun, it seems Kanye was being Kanye, stating he “yelled and appeared out-of-sorts” during the preview of his new project.
This is the first we hear of new music since his public anti-semitic comments, which drew much backlash from the Jewish community and beyond. While this would seemingly be an exciting moment to share what’s in the vault, sources say Kanye looked a bit crazy during the playback.
Ty Dolla $ign was in attendance for the festivities, with a possible feature on the new album. The two have previously collaborated multiple times, including on Ty$’s song “Ego Death,” released in 2020.
One thing that did not go unnoticed was the absence of Ye’s wife, Bianca Sensori. The two have been attached to the hip, it seems, being photographed left and right whenever they appear in public.
Regardless, day one Kanye fans can only hope that new music is on the horizon!

On Friday, October 13th, rapper Offset marked the release of his first solo album in four years, ‘Set It Off,’ with an unforgettable celebration at LIV Miami. After having 4 children with her past public relationships, Kimora Lee Simmons has revealed she has been left to leave her children alone. Kimora has two children with Russell Simmons, one child with actor Dijmon Hounsou, one child with her ex husband Tim Leissner and an adopted son.
Kimora says not one of her children’s fathers are in their lives.
“I have beautiful children, but our necessity for [men] in our life is very minimal,” she continues. “It’s not all that it’s cracked up to be. It’s not giving what it was supposed to have gave!”
Kimora was only 23 a ‘child bride’ when she married Russell (“I joke but it’s not funny,” she says), and they divorced when their children were still young. She was with actor Djimon Hounsou for five years in her 30s and, from 2014 until last year, she was married to former Goldman Sachs investment banker Tim Leissner, who is currently a key witness in a $4 billion fraud case. (In 2021, Russell sued Kimora and Leissner, accusing them of stealing his stocks from the energy drink company Celsius to cover Leissner’s bail. Last year, it was reported a judge ordered Russell to pay Kimora $100,000 in legal fees. Meanwhile, it was revealed that Leissner had faked divorce papers, and was still married to his ex when he wed Kimora.) “I’m so bruised by it all,” she says. “I feel like I’ve run into con artists every step of the way.”
She says that she has not spoken to Russell in a few years, and she does not co-parent with any of her children’s fathers. When she looks back on her relationships, she can see how she might seem like the common denominator. “It looks like, ‘Well, it’s all you, all fingers point to you, lady. You’re the one.’ I guess it is me, but I think it has more to do with my personality or my stance in society. Something about powerful men and how they really appear to be powerful and big and this and that. But they’re nursing an ego inside of there. Not just these men, any men. Men, powerful men, famous men, rich men, business rich men, whatever you want to call it. There’s a thing there and I don’t know what it is, but I don’t really have a great relationship with any of them and they’ve left me to it to just kind of do things on my own. I do everything on my own. Like I say, I’m a single mom.”

The Emmy Award-winning actress speculates that had Shakur been alive today, he might have chosen to speak openly about his condition.
Shakur’s journey with alopecia mirrors Smith’s experience, with the onset of symptoms dating back to 1991, around the time of his arrest for jaywalking by the Oakland Police Department in California. Subsequently, Shakur pursued legal action against the police department, ultimately settling the matter.
Smith reflects, “After he was in Northern California with the police officers that beat him up, he started losing his hair. And his alopecia patterns were far more extreme than mine.” It’s a revelation that invites a new perspective on Shakur’s life and challenges.
Jada Pinkett Smith, an actress and talk show host, disclosed her alopecia diagnosis in 2018, becoming a notable advocate for alopecia awareness. She believes that Shakur’s silence about his alopecia was due to societal pressures of his time. “I don’t think Pac ever talked about his alopecia, but he also looked really good with a bald head. But that was during a time and during an era that you wouldn’t – he just wouldn’t talk about it.”
