Following his arrest in the Domincan Republic, 6ix9ine is unable to leave the country for six months. According to Akademiks, the controversial rapper is currently confined the the country after he jumped two producers in the studio over an altercation with his girlfriend.

6ix9ine is not currenlty in jail, but is unable to return to the United States.

Tekashi 6ix9ine attempted to leave the Dominican Republic but was arrested before boarding his private plane. The rapper was attempting to leave the country after an assault.

According to Felix Porter, a DR-based criminal lawyer, 6ix9ine and his squad assaulted two producers over an incident involving 6ix9ine’s girlfriend. “Trying to leave the country on a private plane, Tekashi 69 turned out to have MIGRATION ALERT,” Portes shared on Instagram, according to Complex. “His trip was aborted. The popular artist is on the run, his whereabouts unknown since there is an arrest warrant issued for beatings and injuries and threats.”

In August, Tekashi 6ix9ine was nabbed by the police for failure to appear. The rapper was entered into Palm Beach County Jail on Wednesday night and released after posting $2,000 bond, according to Page Six.

In July, local authorities advised the rapper not to attend a show in Puerto Rico due to death threats on his life.

Ahead of the show, police could not confirm the seriousness of the threats, and the promoters planned to execute a security plan to protect those involved.

Most recently, 6ix9ine delivered the single “Shaka Laka” with Kodak Black.

Our beautiful daughter is the best gift from our relationship and I am committed to assuring she feels the love and stability she deserves. During this period, I kindly request that you respect our family’s privacy as we focus on healing.”

Jeannie Mai appeared on Sherri Shepherd’s Sherri Show and publicly commented on her ongoing divorce from Jeezy.

She added, “And turning off everything really helps. I tuned into the voices that I needed to hear, that’s me and the truth.”

This week podcaster DJ Akademiks got dragged online by openly gay rapper Saucy Santana as he defended his close friend City Girls rapper Yung Miami. The rapper also noted that the podcaster spends time degrading and black women but doesn’t treat men the same way. Santana even defended Glorilla who DJ Academics welcomed to a fight.

In defense of black women once again the legendary Queen Latifah calls out Akademiks for his double standard.

[WATCH] Keefe D Appears In Court For Arraignment

As. the Tupac Shakur 27-year-old murder trial gets underway, 60-year-old Duane “Keefe D” Davis entered a not-guilty plea during his arraignment in a Las Vegas courtroom on Thursday (November 2). 

Represented by special public defenders Robert Arroyo and Charles Cano, Davis will not face the death penalty in this case, but could spend the rest of his life in prison of convicted.

Below is the video from Davis’ arraignment where he plead not guilty in the murder of slain rapper/actor Tupac Shakur.

Keefe D is the only living person who was in the car the night 2Pac was shot in Las Vegas on Sept. 7, 1996. He is also the only person ever charged in the incident, as he faces one count of murder with a deadly weapon and a gang enhancement.

On this day in Hip Hop history, Kirk Jones bka Sticky Fingaz was born in Brooklyn, New York. Known as the frontman for the trailblazing rap group Onyx and various appearances on screen and television, Sticky Fingaz has worked his way into being a distinguished part of hip hop culture.

With Onyx, Jones became a huge success. The group’s debut album Bacdafucup had huge commercial success and went multi-platinum. Since the multiplatinum debut, the group has released four other albums. Jones also released two albums as a solo artist titled Black Trash: The Autobiography of Kirk Jones and “Decade ‘…but wait it gets worse’” featuring artists such as Eminem, Raekwon, Redman, Canibus, and Omar Epps. He was also featured on Eminem’s Marshall Mathers LP and Snoop Dogg’s No Limit Top Dogg.

As an actor, Jones has been very successful over the years. He has had roles in many movies that have played a big part in hip-hop culture and others that have become household names. Eddie Mathematics: In 2004 Jones played prison kingpin Eddie Mathematics in the film Doing Hard Time starring Boris Kodjoe

Tyrone: In 2000, Jones was casted as Deebo’s sidekick Tyrone in cult classic Next Friday.
