You thought Kevin Hart wouldn’t take a jab at Katt Williams after that Club Shay Shay interview? During NBA Unplugged, which he hosts alongside his Plastic Cup Boyz on ESPN, Hart got some jokes in while watching the New York Knicks and Philadelphia 76ers.

“Another fun fact about the New York Knicks, I don’t know if you guys know this, but Katt Williams bought the Knicks, and it’s rumored that he took the Knicks back, returned them with a receipt,” Hart said. “He’s the first person to ever do that. He bought them for 15 days and returned them. That’s another fun fact about the New York Knicks.”

He added a couple more jokes about Williams’ claims about reading 3,000 books in a year at age six and stating he runs a 4.1 40-yard-dash time.

Comedian Katt WIlliams really shook the room among rappers and comedians alike on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast, which has prompted almost all the people mentioned to respond, including famous funnyman Kevin Hart.

Katt suggested that Hart is an “industry plant,” asking, “Has there ever been a comedian to get their own sitcom and a starring role in a movie like Hart did with ‘Soul Plane’ on their first year in Los Angeles?”

Hart responded to Williams on X, saying, “Gotta get that anger up outcha champ….It’s honestly sad. In the meantime…. Please enjoy MY MOVIE TRAILER to my next film ‘LIFT’ which will be dropping on @netflix in 8 days!!!!! There is a moment in the trailer where @gugumbatharaw says ‘They Really Love You’….I now know she’s talking about ‘Katt’ Mark yo calendars world!!!! This one is SPECIAL!!!!”

Houston Rapper Viper Arrested After Kidnapping and Holding Woman for Five Years

Houston Rapper Viper Arrested After Kidnapping and Holding Woman for Five Years

Lee Carter, known as Houston rapper Viper, has been arrested for kidnapping a woman and holding her in his southeast Houston home for years.

52-year-old Carter is charged with aggravated kidnapping and is currently held on a $100,000 bond.

“They made the arrest for the outstanding aggravated kidnapping warrant,” said Michael Collins, Commander with the Houston Police Department. “The concern is that we possibly had an individual located inside this residence, perhaps locked inside one of the interior rooms.”

Law enforcement states Carter kidnapped after stating he would give her help, allowing her in his car and locking her in the garage at his home. The woman stated Carter forced her to have sex and take drugs like crack, occasionally allowing her to shower.

The woman stated she attempted to flee multiple times but Carter would catch her and continuously threatened her with violence. The woman alerted the police of her location by using a laptop to contact the 911 dispatch on a Text Now app.

Officers state they found the woman “extremely malnourished” and weighing “approximately 70 pounds with a pungent stench.” Neighbors believed the home was involved in either human trafficking or the filming of porn.

Carter released the viral single “You’ll Cowards Don’t Even Smoke Crack.”

SOURCE SPORTS: Football World Speculates if Bill Belichick Run is Over in New England

dm

Is it the end of an era? New England Patriots coach, leader, and icon Bill Belichick’s season is over after a disappointing 17-3 loss to the New York Jets, capping off a bad 4-13 season.

As Belichick strolled off the field, many wondered if it would be the last time he coached a team at Foxborough, which he addressed in the postgame.

“As far as the future goes, I’ll sit down with Robert, as I do every year at some point, at the end of the season and we’ll talk about things as we always do,” Belichick said. “But that’s really all I have to say about that right now because there isn’t anything else to talk about.”

He added, “It was a disappointing year for all of us — players, coaches, staff, the entire organization. Not anything that any of us are in any way content with, but it is what it is.”

LilNasX Bonnaroo005

Lil Nas X is about to get on his Katt Williams. Speaking on TikTok, the rapper revealed he will “expose the industry” before releasing his two new singles.

“Me knowing I’m about to expose the industry next Friday and realizing I need to watch my back for the next 7 days,” Lil Nas X wrote in the caption.

The documentary, offering an intimate look into Lil Nas X’s first global tour, faced an unexpected hurdle during its world premiere in Toronto. A bomb threat delayed the gala screening scheduled at Roy Thomson Hall, one of TIFF’s premier venues. The threat, which specifically targeted the artist for being a Black queer artist, led to a 20-minute delay in Lil Nas X’s arrival as TIFF security conducted a thorough sweep to ensure safety.

Directed by Carlos López Estrada and Zac Manuel, with editing by Andrew Morrow, “Long Live Montero” promises to provide fans and viewers with behind-the-scenes insights into Lil Nas X’s journey during his groundbreaking tour. The documentary captures the highs and challenges of the tour, offering a unique perspective on the artist’s experiences and the impact of his music.

Despite the initial setback, Lil Nas X and the documentary team proceeded with the screening once the threat was deemed not credible. Rick Ross Names The Drake Collab He Loves The Most

Rick Ross and Drake have quite the extensive personal and collaborative history, one that might expand soon according to the former and Meek Mill. Moreover, Rozay has a lot to look back on and treasure when it comes to the memories he crafted with the 6ix God over the years. What’s more is that these are represented by specific collaborative tracks across their discographies. You could look at iconic Drizzy songs like “Lord Knows,” “Money In The Grave,” or “Lemon Pepper Freestyle” for this. Other highlights include Ross’ “Gold Roses” and “Aston Martin Music,” and there are also plenty of tracks from other primary artists, like DJ Khaled’s “I’m On One,” in which they both appear.

Furthermore, Rick Ross recently joined Adin Ross for a livestream together on Wednesday (January 3). During it, the streamer asked him for a particularly treasured memory of his when it comes to his relationship with Drake. “I’ma say ‘Stay Schemin,’” the Mississippi native expressed. “He came out to us; he came out in the streets. He came to us when he put that record together. It was one of those vibes. We had the beat. He walked right in on it as we was puttin’ it together and he didn’t wait one second, so that was most definitely magical.”

Rick Ross & Adin Ross’ Full Livestream: Watch

The Drake conversation begins around the 35-minute mark.

Of course, Drake has also been prone to shout out his partner Rick Ross every once in a while for social media to see. Back in April of last year, he called him his “identical twin” when a fan mixed them up while the Maybach Music Group mogul was in Jamaica. A few years prior in 2021, following the aforementioned “Lemon Pepper Freestyle,” the Too Good To Be True MC addressed rumors that they were working on a collab album. Clearly, with all the time that has passed since, it looks like this isn’t panning out anytime soon.

Meanwhile, the Toronto native doesn’t crack the 47-year-old’s top three rappers list, but he’s not far behind. In fact, Rick Ross recently explained why most rappers have the same top three ranking. That’s up for debate, but his point holds true for a lot of legendary lyricists out there, perhaps even for Drake himself. For more news and the latest updates on this duo, keep checking in with HNHH.

Jonathan Majors Breaks Silence in Exclusive ABC News Interview Following Assault Conviction

linsay jonathan 745x498

Award-winning actor Jonathan Majors, known for his roles in acclaimed projects like “Lovecraft Country,” recently granted his first interview since a Manhattan jury found him guilty of assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari.

ABC News Anchor Linsey Davis conducted the interview, set to air on Disney-owned ABC’s “Good Morning America” on Thursday, January 11. Clips from the interview will be featured on “GMA3” on Monday, January 8, with an exclusive half-hour special airing on “Impact x Nightline” on Hulu.

The 34-year-old actor was arrested and charged with assaulting Jabbari on March 25, leading to a trial that began in December. Despite denials and counter-accusations, Majors was convicted on December 18 on a single charge of assault and harassment. His sentencing is scheduled for February 6, with a maximum potential jail term of one year.

Following the conviction, Disney/Marvel Studios severed ties with Majors, dropping him from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The studio is reportedly considering openly gay actor Colman Domingo as Majors’ replacement.

Majors’ attorney, Priya Chaudhry, expressed gratitude for the not guilty verdicts on two additional charges. “It is clear that the jury did not believe Grace Jabbari’s story of what happened in the SUV because they found that Mr. Majors did not intentionally cause any injuries to her. We are grateful for that,” Chaudhry stated. However, she expressed disappointment that, despite discrediting Jabbari’s account, the jury found Majors somehow reckless during the altercation.

The interview provides an opportunity for Majors to share his perspective and shed light on the trial’s intricacies, adding another layer to a complex and challenging chapter in his career.

Taraji P. Henson Raises Concerns Over Lack of Transportation Support for “The Color Purple” Cast

Taraji P. Henson Stars in Trailer for'What Men Want'

This comes on the heels of a previously resolved pay dispute where Henson, alongside the cast, had concerns about their salaries. The intervention of Oprah Winfrey, an executive producer of the film, facilitated the resolution of the payment issue.

Henson’s latest grievance revolves around the lack of chauffeured transportation to the set while filming in Atlanta. In an interview with the New York Times, she emphasized the potential safety hazards of driving herself, stating, “They gave us rental cars, and I was like, ‘I can’t drive myself to the set in Atlanta.’ This is insurance liability; it’s dangerous. Now they’re robbing people. What do I look like, taking myself to work by myself in a rental car?”

The acclaimed actress raised a valid point about the need for equal treatment, emphasizing that her request for a driver or security was not an extravagant demand. However, the production company reportedly responded that providing such services for her would necessitate extending the same to everyone.

Henson expressed frustration, stating, “It’s stuff like that, stuff I shouldn’t have to fight for. I was on the set of ‘Empire’ fighting for trailers that weren’t infested with bugs.”

This battle for equal treatment in the industry has taken a toll on Henson’s mental health. “It wears on your soul because you fight so hard to establish a name for yourself and be respected in this town to no avail,” she shared.

Support for Henson poured in from her fans, who echoed her concerns about the potential danger of stars driving themselves in unfamiliar cities, particularly in a place like Atlanta with high crime rates. The sentiment on social media reflected a consensus that Henson’s request for proper transportation was not unreasonable but a matter of basic safety and respect for the cast.
