Bhad Bhabie Reconciles With Her Alienated Father

Bhad Bhabie’s fast rise to stardom and virality in the late 2010s led to a lot of backlash online. Her image was especially put into question after her wild interview with Dr. Phil and her mother Barbara Bregoli. It painfully highlighted how tense things were between them and gave witnesses a glimpse into what their lives at home must’ve been like. Similarly, her relationship with her father, Ira Peskowitz, was also far from great around 2016-2018. According to TMZ, it got to the point where her father was formally removed from her birth certificate and was also forced to give up his parental rights.

Then, in 2020, Bhad Bhabie (Danielle Bregoli) was strongly considering a restraining order against Ira. This was because he was spreading abuse allegations against his then wife Barbara. Bhabie laid the hammer down on him for this, labeling him an absent father while also alleging Ira was attempting to draw attention away from her burgeoning rap career. However, the father and daughter have been working hard to create a healthy relationship once again.

In fact, things seem to be the best have been in a long time and they have been for just over a year. TMZ has learned that Bhabie was the one to reach out via texts and phone calls. These series of communications led to her traveling to Florida to meet with him and thankfully, it was a successful reuniting. That then led to Bhabie inviting Ira and his new wife and her two sons (her half-brothers) to her house in Los Angeles in September. There, they celebrated the half birthday of Bhabie’s daughter, Kali. After years of turmoil and hatred, we are happy to see her and Ira rebuilding a strong father-daughter connection!

Ice Spice’s Father Responds To Cleotrapa’s Claims That He’s Hispanic & Not Nigerian

All day and even going back to the wee hours of the night before, rappers Ice Spice and Cleotrapa have been airing out their dirty laundry on X. This all started because of the latter claiming to have received awful treatment while being on the roster for the Y2K! tour. Both have been making wild statements about each other and currently, Cleo has the last word. Just moments ago, she called out the “Phat Butt” MC for lying about her dad’s nationality, saying that he’s actually Hispanic. Fans have had differing opinions on this tweet, but the artist’s father is making sure that his words come across as clear as possible.

According to The Neighborhood Talk, Joseph Gaston wants to make it known right away that he doesn’t want any part of this. While doing so he sets the record straight and essentially tells Cleo to zip it. “@iamcleotrapa we met twice in the green room. We barely spoke, who said I’m Hispanic?”, he began. “Ken I’m gonna dead this right here. I’m a black man. Born and raised in the BX. Keep me out this bulls***”. What’s even wilder, some people were asking for proof and he said that he’s taken an ancestry test to confirm all of this in the past.

However, he doesn’t appear to be taking offense to any of this as he says he does have Latino family members. In one breath, Cleo was correct, but nowhere near 100%, kind of like some other things she claimed earlier today.

Victoria Monet experienced a monumental Father’s Day this month, as it became the first one she spent with her dad. “spending our first Father’s Day together ever,” the upcoming Megan collaborator wrote in a social media post, including a picture of the two together. “a real blessing! The little girl in me is so happyyyyyy, healing.” It’s a very heartening and wholesome development to witness, but it’s also one that has led to a lot of Internet speculation and possible, unexpected family reunions. Moreover, a woman claimed that this is her biological father as well, and that she is Monet’s half-sister.

“I’m glad you got a chance to meet him finally ,” the woman wrote of Victoria Monét and her father. “I’m 23 and haven’t seen him 20 years of my life…and he never bothered to reach out to me. Wow ANTHONY DETAMOORE or however u spell it !!! So Victoria Monet is my half sister ??” The “Alright” creative has yet to publicly respond to these claims at press time. Regardless, it’s not really any of our business to know what she thinks of this or how it makes her feel. After all, this seems like a very personal and complex process of learning about extended family… or it could be a clout-chase.

Obviously, this caused chaos in the replies of these tweets, with many validating the woman Zhanae’s narrative and others blasting her for it. But Victoria Monét’s alleged half-sister defended her right to tell her side of the story and to seek this reconnection. “My story deserves to be heard too,” she wrote of her alleged relationship to the 2024 BET Awards nominee. “how dare u spend time with ur other kids on Father’s Day like u are bettering your life and u have other kids out here . And I have reached out when I was younger he was not interested so u think imma reach out again ??? CRAZY”

Overall, this seems like a very tangled web with no strong indication of whether or not it will continue to play out in the public eye. Hopefully Victoria Monet doesn’t have to shift gears much as a result, as she already canceled some festival dates due to health issues. Still, it’s important to think sympathetically in these moments, especially concerning your loves ones. Whatever’s going on here, we’re sure it’s nothing that family can’t heal.

Nicki Minaj recently spoke to Ebro Darden on Apple Music about her new album Pink Friday 2, hip-hop’s current state, and a whole lot more. While she’s very much enjoying herself these days and enjoying the success of her project, this sit-down also called for some reflection. For example, the Trinidadian MC eventually expressed some thoughts and remarks about her late father Robert Maraj, who tragically passed away following a hit-and-run in 2021. Specifically, she recalled their last conversation, which was just hours before his death. It’s quite the emotive moment to witness, and one we hope will allow the 41-year-old to continue to heal and honor her dad.

“One day, I was rocking the baby in the rocking chair in his room,” Nicki Minaj shared. “I do not normally even have the phone on me when I’m rocking him. Because at that time, I was mad strict… But anyway, that day, as I’m rocking him, the phone rings. I look down, I see it’s my father, I normally would not have picked up, I promise you. I would’ve said, ‘OK,’ because I don’t like to be on the phone with the baby there. But something said, ‘Pick up the phone.’

Coi Leray and Benzino don’t always take their drama to the internet, but when they do, we feel it. The pair seemed to be on good terms a few months back, though the “Blick Blick” artist’s comments about her father during a recent interview with Angie Martinez rubbed him the wrong way. “At first it was rocky, because I felt like he couldn’t handle my success,” Leray told the podcaster of how her and Benzino’s relationship changed during her rise to fame. “[It’s] okay because he’s human, that’s fine.”

Though she admittedly gave him some grace, the former media titan is having a hard time hearing some of what his child had to say. He’s already put her and Martinez on blast for spreading a “false narrative” about him, as well as Busta Rhymes for filming a music video with a half-naked Leray not too long ago. On Monday (November 13), Benzino had more to get off his chest on Live. “She said she slept in cars, she ain’t never slept in no f**king cars,” the 58-year-old’s rant began.

In front of tens of thousands of patrons, La Flame brought out Playboi Carti to help with their joint effort, “FE!N.” Elsewhere at the show, he surprised everyone by tapping his 5-year-old daughter to join him for “MAFIA.” Stormi Webster looked nervous as Scott sang to the crowd, but still, the crowd cheered her on before her famous father sent her off with a crew member.

This marks the nepo baby’s first appearance on stage for this tour.
